History

Ted Jenkins was born as heir to the throne as King of the 2nd dimension, but as he grew and matured, he came to see that his father and on down the line were nothing but puppets of the Council of Sticks, a corrupt organization of greedy business men who live, not to gain anything material, but to destroy all things enjoyable. The people of the 2nd dimension were blinded after years of gradual policy implements and came to believe the lies the Council spread about self sacrifice. When any member of the Council claimed never to have taken a profit, Ted was shaken to his core because he believed them.

Annoyed and enraged that he would be subject to the will of the Council, Ted left his home armed with nothing but a pipe and bitterness. His dreams of grandeur would never come to fruition, but he could at least alleviate his anger on anything and anyone within earshot.

Ted Jenkins's Story

Ted Jenkins cigarette in hand, Ted pushed the door of the bar open and stepped in. His blank, expressionless face moved in a slow arc as he surveyed the room and those who patronized it. He took a step forward, out of the threshold of the doorway and stood there for a few moments, one hand on his cigarette and another on his hip-like joint. He pulled the cigarette from his mouth and it would appear as if nothing happened. However, he had turned to face the old man that entered behind him (qusuperstar).

Ted Jenkins After smoking his cigarette to the butt, Ted flicked it away. It happened to land on a table that had a puddle of whiskey on it. It instantly ignited. Watching the flame erupt, a laughing noise emanated from the mouthless Ted and it grew less in touch with each passing moment.

Ted Jenkins disregarded the flame and proceeded to the bar, pushing aside anything or anyone that got or looked like they'd get in his way and took from behind the bar a bottle of gin. From his spot behind the bar counter, he tossed the bottle to the flame, hitting its base spot on and caused it to erupt even more.

Ted Jenkins The bar door made its common movement, leaving a light breeze in its wake as if sighing in resignation to its primary function. Headless of the noise from the door, what seemed to be a stack of simple lines pushed it aside and stepped through the threshold, angular feet soundless against the hard wood floors. A cigarette burned slowly, hanging from an expressionless face angled to one side as puffs of gray smoke leaked from the other.

Ted Jenkins After observing the bar with no eyes to speak of and no mouth to allude to, the simple figure began a walk toward the bar, path unimpeded, leaving hardly a disturbance in what feeble a wake the slender, angular figure could make. Smoke hung low as it neared the bar, but no scent lingered on the thin figure as would have been impossible. As the smoking stick reached its end, so another stick also reached for the flaming one and tossed it aside, unconcerned of its tragectory.
