One cannot begin to imagine the horror that infuses this being known merely as the Butcher, stuck in a perpetual quasi-death by its own biological make up, the Butcher is actually a series of parasitic organisms which attach and make use of other life forms for nutrition and survival. Capable of indefinite and infinite life spans, these organisms support the existence of their host by infusing it with radical and rapid mutations, heightening the host bodies senses and physical capabilities. Due to the nature of these organisms, they often carry effects and properties from one host body to another, once rooted in a host body, that body can no longer be classified as any race but that of a 'shell', reports exist of humans mutating rapidly into something spawned from Hell, non-terrestrial races also suffer this fate.
Little can be said for the origins of these organisms, except that they cannot be found on any known planet within the explored galactic space, any attempts to capture a specimen has also failed as they rapidly decompose outside of the environment they create within the host body, likewise captured hosts have rapidly broken down, as if the organism refuses to allow itself to be caged.
The will of the Organism in question is that of survival, unlike the species of the host body, the required need for oxygen, or any other gaseous intake is removed from the host, along with most of the hosts other biological requirements such as sleep, nutrition, however the body still continues to consume matter to feed the organism itself. The organism has a tendency to prey upon the species to which its host body belongs to, in a form of pseudo-cannibalism.
It has also been shown on several occasions that the intelligence of the Organism increases with each successful seizure of a host, as the organism seems capable of absorbing the host bodies mind completely, any knowledge or otherwise transfers to the organism. Similarly as was touched upon earlier, the power of the organism grows as with each host, considering this if an organism were to live long enough it could feasibly become a threat on a galactic scale.
