Enemies: None.
Allegiance: The Invictus.
Key Members:
Fatin "Stryfe" Alfarsi: Leader of the Invictus and the leader of the Custodis Benevolentia. Known for her marksmanship and skill with a longsword.
Tommy "Saren" Jones: 2nd-in-command of the Custodis Benevolentia. He is also known as The Brute, he holds some sort of super-human strength that makes Superman look like a pansy. And, he's good with the giant hammer weapon he usually carries around.
Abilities:
- Shield Of the Benevolent: The Custodis Benevolentia channel all of their energies together in to form a kind of shield, the strength of the individuals being brought together usually makes the shield quite strong. Almost unbreakable by whatever opposing force.
- Under Fire: With this ability, some members of the Benevolentia use the power of the elements, fire actually, to attack their enemy or burn down structures. Sometimes as a means of distraction or to inform other members of the Invictus that they need assistance if radio contact is not an option.
----------------------------------------
They usually wear medium Invictus chest body armor and are usually armed with melee weapons. The most common among the Benevolentia are Glock-17 .45s and AK-47s. The armor they wear was made from an unknown alloy that made it more than capable to withstand all types of damage, and the weapons were made of the same alloy, as were the bullets. Though the bullets also had clear tips, within the tips of the bullets was this lightly glowing highly acidic and highly toxic teal liquid. When the bullets come into contact with a person the tips of the bullets explode in a sense, sending the teal liquid out to burn the flesh and bone completely, also infecting the wound with it's toxic properties within minutes.
The Custodis Benevolentia would flitter into the bar in what was probably a very homsexual fashion, at least for the male members. They numbered in at nine, four males and five females. All dressed in their red and black Invictus light armor and all armed with their Colt M4 carbines. Leading the group of nine was a white male that stood at about 6'1 and was a little on the skinny side. "Alright, little boys and girls.. let's get drunk as hell!" The white man said, speaking with a Scottish accent.
The Custodis Benevolentia crowded the bar after just a few moments. But the Scottish male, Saren, he glided across the room towards Ari. "Oi! You'd be the little lady Boss was with awhile ago. All burned up and shit, aye?" Saren asked, brushing a little debris off of his shoulder. "We just came from Somalia, hot as balls there, I tell ya'."
The Custodis Benevolentia proceeded out of the bar just because.
The Custodis Benevolentia filed out of their van, the sounds of the boots resounding against the concrete. Their black military uniforms and light black armor giving them their spook-like appearance. At the forefront of this group of mercenaries armed with Colt M4 carbines was a woman of middle eastern descent, she stood at about 5'10, had short jet black hair, and wore baggy cargo pants. Obviously, her pants carried various things, more guns. You never had enough guns. "Alright, come on." The woman said, pushing the doors open and soon heading inside with the others following her. They numbered in at about 14 altogether. "Stryfe, he ain't here." A mercenary said to the middle eastern woman, "He'll be here. Let's drink."
The Custodis Benevolentia would step down the stairs from the upper floors of the bar, numbering in at sixteen deep. At the forefront of the mercenaries today was Caucasian woman with brown hair and a shotgun slung so that it rested on her stomach. She gave the others with her a few gestures, prompting the Custodis Benevolentia to move around and the bar and take up positions.
The four mercenary members of the Custodis Benevolentia slung their rifles, making their way over to help Nieght with the bodies of his former comrades. They were used to cleaning up, just like others in the Invictus. Not always dead bodies unless it was some kind of natural disaster, but still.
Four of the Invictus' black vans would pull up to Gambit's Bar in a line. The side doors sliding open to allow the Custodis Benevolentia to climb out. They numbered in at sixteen, minus their leader, Stryfe. The Arab mercenary did climb out of a van after a little while, Anodyne following. Today, they made sure to bring both lethal and non-lethal rounds. Their weapons loaded with the lethal today, just in case.
The Custodis Benevolentia and Anodyne raised their weapons at the soldiers. "We never said we were surrendering." One of the mercenaries said, "We're taking this way from these people. They don't need to have strays taking their heads off." Anodyne took a breath, she and the other mercenaries didn't like where this was going. "Doesn't this city have police?"
The Custodis Benevolentia readied their weapons, moving closer to the soldiers. "Go lethal..." Stryfe ordered, the soldiers changing their clips in a way that seemed to have been practiced and taught for years to their forces. They would chamber their rounds and get ready to fire. "Do not hit the hostages." Stryfe said to the mercenaries, "You'll be turned over to the Police if you do."
The Custodis Benevolentia took a drag of her smoke before giving Sang a nod. "Just stick around long enough, sir. This place gets very violent quickly." She said, "But yes, we do hire martial artists. We have them to train our people and others that are looking to learn how to fight, as well earn some money for the company and themselves by going out and kicking ass. In legal and... discreet competitions."
The Custodis Benevolentia were outside of Stryfe's door, listening. "I wonder how unholy. I've seen some nasty things on the internet." A mercenary said, "Shush."
The Custodis Benevolentia pretended to guard the hall, "So yeah... I drive a..." The mercenaries watched Sang as he walked away. "I like him already!"
A mercenary was sent back by the butt of the weapon, the other being flipped over once the gun was snatched away. "She's strong." A mercenary said just before Sophie faded away. "Eh... where did she go?" A mercenary asked, "I feel like I'm in one of those Predator movies..."
The Custodis Benevolentia ducked for cover, well, the ones that weren't hit in dropping to the ground in pain. Three or four had spotted where the shots had come from, moving to get behind cover as they fired at the location. "Everyone! Right there! Watch our fire!" A mercenary shouted.
