The Tornado of Gadget, as she was often called, put her one foot up to lean it against the edge of the counter. This gave notice to her very shapely legs, made this way because it took a lot of leg strength to hold onto a hoverbike. She didn't like using her seatbelt. Thing.
She watched the Burglar advance toward the counter and returned the wave he'd given her earlier. She gave a great yawn.
Mornings were not her thing. "Well, hello, mister, there." She said to him. Her accent was distinctly American with something mixed in.
She briefly took notice of Fluffles, at his very...ah. Very muscular...appearance. Jesus. She thought steroids were banned...

Watching the purple-haired man try to flex his own muscles, which, of course, weren't nearly as large as the saiyan's, and were also slightly flimsy, she laughed, putting a gloved hand to her green rouged lips.
She smeared it. "Aw, geez," she complained, feeling the thick makeup slather her cheek. She took a napkin and wiped it up. She turned to the Burglar and pointed to her face. "Oi, I got anythin' left on here?" She asked him. Indeed, there was a long smear alongside her cheek that she hadn't caught.
She turned to notice Chide, the white-haired glasses lad that had just entered. Interesting. She didn't see anyone but hackers wear glasses, these days...
She also watched Fluffles give then that horrid glare, ans she reacted by smooching her lips in an unintentionally silly returned glare.

"Righ' here? A'ight, thanks," she replied, taking the napkin and wiping her cheek again. The white paper was almost completely green, itself. She put a lot of rouge on. Too much, in fact. But she didn't mind. All for the fashion, right?

It was during this moment that she noticed that the Burglar guy...he didn't talk much, did he? She gave him a long, contemplative stare, then furrowed her brows. Was he a mute or something? He certainly communicated well without the use of words. "Interestin' fella." She muttered under her breath.

She looked to Chide once more, all by himself in the corner, with his white hair. She was curious about him. Just a tad.
Oh, but then she noticed something else when she looked to Fluffles.
Was she the only girl in the bar, surrounded by...three men? All of different appearance and personality. Had she struck gold?
She glared at Fluffles.
Eh, maybe not...she didn't want a hulking monkey as a boyfriend, anyway. However, Chide seemed like a hacker, and Burglar...well, he looked decent.
"Thank god for being legal!" Tora said out loud, clapping her hands over her mouth. "Oh..."

Tora Butler had her hands clasped tightly over her mouth, the red seeping into her cheeks with a wild blush as she heard Chide laugh, and when the Burglar gave her a thumbs up, she gritted her teeth. "'barrasing, that was..." She said under her breath, biting her bottom lip, which further removed her rouge.

Oh, but then Vegetra had to be a jerk and bust open the door, which distracted Tora from her current embarassment, but had also injured the guy she was...em. Conversing to. It was her fault.
At least she was distracting the rude, hulky monkey man, over there...
"Oh, Jesus Christ, are you...!?" She blurted as she hopped over the counter to help the purple-haired man up. Her chains and bangles jingled when she moved, and when she outstretched a hand to help up the guy.
She took a brief moment to look at Chide. Ah, okay. He was just smiling, still, at her comment. He hadn't died yet.

"Holy-" Tora began, hopping down and fretting because she didn't know how to help the poor man at all. She grasped her head with both her hands and gaped. "You're absolutely..." messed up! She was about to say, but the words left her. She waved about and yelled "We need a medic! Or sumpin'! Err...anyone!?"

Suddenly, as Tora tried to help up her broken companion, she disappeared in a flash of light, not to be seen for a few hours.
Oh, how awful.

The sounds of an eternal sigh hung in the air, and a wing projected by force lifters stirred up the sand and created a small whirlwind. The beholder of the sounds and the wind flew just a few feet above the beach. It was a slick hoverbike, no more than seven feet long and four feet high. The rider was almost parallel with the bike, leaning onto it as far down as they could go. Whoever it was, they wore black leather and large aviator goggles.

The rider nearly toppled over her bike when she saw the great, bright flash of light, pulling the front of the bike upward to carry her to a halt, which stirred up even more sand. She viewed, through her dark goggles, the fight, and stretched her head to spot the two humanoids out about fifty or so feet away. She did a long whistle, pursing her green lips together as she hovered above the mess slowly.
She then spotted the large Orc not far away, and after that she spotted the child waving for help. Oh, my, my. The Orc was rushing towards the child.
What to do, what to do?
She shook her head, grunted, and revved the acceleration panel. The bike zoomed forward, above the dueling mages, and towards the child and the Orc. "Hol' on tight, buster!" She said to the kid.

Tora Butler held the squirming child in her arms with difficulty. Gosh, what was with little kids!? She was trying to save the bugger!
She took a split second to look over the orc, then, after the sonic boom, which almost made the bike do a somersault, the child still firmly gripped in her hands, she slowly lowered the contraption.
"Holy mother of Christ!" Tora exclaimed, letting the kid go, who promptly began to run off and cry. She looked at the Orc, wide-mouthed. "You okay, guy? You don't look too damaged."

Tora Butler laughed loudly at the half-orc, her feet flying into the air as she nearly fell backwards off the vehicle. "Nah, man! I got special armor for hard hits! Being on a hoverbike, you gotta have some type of protection, you know?"
She hopped off the bike and p-

It was evening, and the sun was setting above Wing City, giving an eerie golden light to it's surface. In the distance, a continuous sigh could be heard, like the workings of an engine, or when steam is being blown out of a tight spot.
Also, in the distance, were two blue lights that kept growing bigger. When it came close enough, one could see something like a bike, and a person with a helmet riding on it.
And it was hovering above the ground, of course. Just a bit, five feet in the most. The rider was dressed in black and couldn't quite be seen very well.

The rider looked up, suddenly, and tilted the bike slightly upwards, cranking the breaks and carrying the contraption to a halt. They looked around for a second, then spotted Arthur, who they had suspected to be the one yelling after them.
They took off their helmet, swinging their legs from the bike, and from then it would be obvious that the rider was female. Her lips were slathered in green lipstick, her hair was white, all for her ponytail, which was pink and green, and her figure was...well, it was quite feminine. To say the least, and dressed in tight leather.
"You curious about my baby, here?" She asked, her accent very American as she patted her bike. "S' a hoverbike. My own Tornado!" She said, beaming.

"Tornado Hoverbike. It's kind of a brand...but it's unique! Someone built this one specifically for me...cuz I'm kinda short, ya know?"
Indeed, Tora seemed slightly...like a squirt. One of her many nicknames. She crossed her arms and tried to lean onto her bike, which caused the bike to move forward a bit, which nearly caused Tora to fall if she hadn't somehow spazztically regained her balance and composure.
She cleared her throat.
"Um...also, m'names Tora." She said, in both greetings and explanation. "And they call me Tora-nado, like...a Tornado. Everyone else in Gadget is kinda like how you was saying. We use force lifters on our bike...kinda hard to explain how they work."

"Nice'ta meetcha, Art." Tora said, jutting out a hand for him to shake. As night descended onto Wing City, it was a bit harder to see the scars and how nice Arthur's face actually was. It took her a while for her eyes to adjust to realize that he was even a bit good looking. She squinted her eyes and whistled.
'Thank god for being legal.' She thought to herself.
"A coffee shop? Sure, haven't really eaten much today. I'l love to come! Where is it, exactly? That one's down a bit, right? Lets just ride over there, then!" She said, hopping onto her bike. She gestured to the small space behind her, patting it. "Hop on!"

Tora Butler jumped, just a bit, when his hands slipped over her waist. Indeed, they were only a bit cold...and it was a shock! He was cold as death, he was! Cold seeping through her thin shirt! She shook it off and pulled on the goggles. "Ye might want to lean over. The bike was made for speed, so you can't sit upright."
Of course, Tora, being raised by gruff men, was mostly oblivious to the awkward position she'd just put them in. It was too normal for her.
"Th' goggles were a present from Tommy, m'friend. Got 'em on my birthday, cuz he's a technician and all and makes them things. Alright, going, hold on tight!"
She revved the acceleration panel on the handle to the right of the bike, and the lifter rings glowed a bright blue. The bike lifted high, and then moved forward, the sigh of the engine becoming louder. It was almost like a jet-ski, riding on top of the water, but smoother, softer, and much, much more exhilarating. She hadn't gone fast since the store wasn't so far away, but she did leap several cars in a large arc to get there.

"Oh, dammit," Tora cursed as the car alarm started to go off. She wasn't quite a bad person in her world, but she'd certainly done her share of thieving. She got off and turned off the engine, making sure the magnetic rings kept the bike in place, should anyone try to steal it.
And in a city like this? Well, everyone was trying to steal it!
Tora grinned up at Arthur as he held out his hand, and she took up the scarred appendage with her own gloved one. She didn't mind the scars, really, even if she was a bit concerned. In her world, whole arms and legs were made into cybernetic parts...this really wasn't as bad!
She then went into the store and took up the smell of coffee and warm bread. "Mmm. That's certainly a nice smell, it is."

Indeed, who? Tora was starting to suspect, but made as if she was a ditz.
Which, she was, in some cases, but she actually had some good smarts riding for her. "Ah, work, eh? Well, I guess you've got some free time before that." She said, giving a small laugh before going to the counter.
"One medium Mocha Latte, please!" She ordered, telling the person behind the counter. They did not seem to linger of her pink ponytail and green lipstick.
She looked back at Arthur to have her eyes linger, for just a second, on the scar around his neck. She made it seem as if she was looking at his ear.
For some strange...reason or another. She'd seen some pretty strange things in Wing City so far...

Tora Butler looked back as she received her Latte, taking the warm cup in her hands and laying it on a table close to the counter. She lifted her head, long pink ponytail falling over her shoulder, to look at Sabrina, the slight, feminine damsel in distress with the wonderful red hair.
"Art, whaddya gonna do? Hey." She called after him, narrowing her eyes. She saw his hand slip into a pocket.
He had a weapon, didn't he? Oh, yes he did! Was he gonna shank him, or something?
Ah, jeez.
She took a step forward, ready for action. If there was gonna be a fight, at least being raised in a gang helped her out in situations like this...

Tora Butler walked up to Art and the redhead, looking, with concern, into the womans face. "Oi, oi, ye alright there, missy? Tha' was...erm. That was a bit frightening."
Not to the Tornado of Gadget, of course. What was really frightening was driving, at high speed, away from crazed Japanese shooting at her from a helicopter.
Damn...Taiyou Empire. People.

"Nice to meet you, Sabrina," Tora said as Art pulled her next to him. She offered a smile, then the smallest of nods as Arthur told her he wasn't gonna stab him.
Better not. She didn't need a criminal record - or even half of one - in the new city she'd come to.
