History

Born to a wealthy British aristocratic family, was able to buy his way into the Royal Navy through commissions and has since spent the rest of his life sailing the seas on the orders of the King. Other then fighting rival nations, William also helps his appointed Captain hunt down pirates and privateers, as well as fighting for a moral cause, he is often tempted by the lure of gold and bounties.

Fights for good and honour, strives to maintain a peaceful society by fighting criminals and other lawbreakers. Has an immediate dislike for those that are dishonest, untrustworthy, unloyal and would otherwise create suffering and anarchy for others. Proudly follows the chain of command and is dependable and reliable for any task given to him onboard the ship and follows orders with determination and sternness, as well as showing that he is capable of level-headed initiative.

Occasionally susceptible to bouts of heavy drinking, often at Gambit's Bar, turning him into everything he despises.

William Longthorn walked into Gambits Bar, gazing over the already present patrons, he wasted no time and strutted over to the bar, making sure his uniform was still in a well presented fashion. Seldom did he enter these kind of establishments though he was in dire need of some alcoholic beverages.
He leaned over the bar and glanced both ways "Can I get some beer over here?"

William Longthorn notices a very strange woman enter the bar, confused by her abnormal colored hair and pointy ears. William deduced that she must be from one of the far off colonial countries. Nevertheless he was still eager to find out who this person was.

William Longthorn continued to notice her distinct though quite unusual features. Runes etched onto her face, similar to the customs of the ancient Aztecs he thought.
Finally he spoke again "I am First Mate in the King's Royal Navy, I have visited many far off exotic lands, though I do believe I have not had the good fortune of meeting your people, may I ask from what lands do you originate?"

William Longthorn felt offended by the comment of the barwoman. Reenactor he thought, was this woman serious? William Longthorn was a distinguished officer in the worlds most powerful navy. How could this woman refer to him as a reenactor. William wasn't sure if he was offended or confused by her comment "Ma'am, my name is William Longthorn, First Mate in the King's Royal Navy. Are you stating that you are unfamiliar with the power, size and scale, the stories, the legend of the Royal Navy?"
