"Remember my teachings, son." -=Those were the words of Saladin, to his only child - Zerel. Alynne had looked a little apprehensive, and somewhat hesitant at leaving her charge's side. However, both father and minder knew that, in order to grow and advance, Zerel had to become his own man. The young fellow weaved his own Gateway, just tall enough for it to allow his entry. Stepping through the window torn into the air, he emerged on one of the upper levels of the abandoned religious building. Below, he could see the two opponents, and smiled, waited. He observed them, while keeping his power at a minimum. He was dressed, strangely, in the formal white of Kelantan royalty. And his short-cut black hair framed a young face, after all, he was only thirteen years old. Not a boy, but not a man, either. He had no support to rely upon, and was looking forward to finally letting loose on his own. He waited.=-
