Description

Zuul towers over those who would worship at his feet. This was why he had often been depicted kneeling or in some other way prostrated before the public. He is long and fluid in his movements, his six limbs gliding about their business quite effortlessly. His pairs of arms are very nearly equal in size; in fact, any difference might either be easily ignored or completely overlooked. Each hand bares two thumbs, one on either side of his palm. (A thumb in place of a pinky.) His flesh is nearly white, brushed with pink in most places. It gives him a constant flush which only heightens the sense of unending empathy and raw vulnerability they might see in him. Markings flush under his nose and lips, dotting a line at either side of his long, curving forehead. His eyes are small and nearly red throughout, set in deep sockets of that same flushed hue. His jaw is long and strong, and his face bears what may in fact be an eternal smile. The conduit's voice rolls low and smooth and comforting, always.

Personality

As a messenger between Man and the Gods, Zuul has spent a long existence being both revered and humbled. Now of the physical world, he expresses this with his head held high but with hands most often kept close to his body--all of them, you know. He is learning to live in this place, and is learning that the emotional, confiding connection he feels with mankind is both a blessing and curse.

Zuul's Story

Zuul could not contain himself any longer. He was sensitive and he was eager and he wanted so badly to be tossed into the center of a lively pit of humanity. And so of all places,he came here. It smelled strange and the air was warm with the presence of so many. As he pushed the door open, his long face turned up and his hands--all of them--opened toward the ceiling. Wondrous! His steps came slow and so graceful on long, pearly limbs, and all eight thumbs spread wide as he brought his hands together for a short, silent prayer. This. This was exactly what he had been looking for.

Zuul opened what was a bit of a small, round mouth and let a breath sigh in general awe. He could feel so much in this place. The flesh under his nose and 'round his eyes was flushed a constant pink, as were the dotted markings following his smooth brows. His finger pads were fleshy and colored with the blood beneath the surface. Those many hands folded and overlapped and rubbed in front. He was nervous and excited and-... and naked. Oh dear, Zuul. have you not yet learned to adapt?

Zuul paused in his slow glide across the busy room, turning little red eyes on the girl near the window booth. Meike. Why, there was nearly nothing going on in that little head of hers. Not in so far as thoughts were concerned, but emotions. And it felt so very strange, even from where he stood. His approach was painfully slow, while his fingers opened and rubbed and cupped each other. You know, when strange naked people come stalking up to strangers, there tends to be some commotion.

Zuul halted where he stood, his mouth opening with a curious clip of breath and his eyes following Meike across the room. Either she hadn't seen him, or had ignored him entirely. In the end it hardly mattered, because at last there was a little something in her mind and face. Curiosity. Good... It had felt so unnatural not to feel a thing from her. Agito Now there was a man brooding with all his heart. Zuul absolutely ached for it, and came sliding up behind the man. Very long hands came sliding around that seat to hold the stranger's upper arms. Strangers, Zuul, strangers! "The world is a wondrous place, little human! Center yourself and you will see."

Zuul could not possibly be a six-armed orc. For one, he did not have six arms. In fact, never once had that ever been suggested, thank the Lord. No no, only four, and he drew them back when the boy stood. Instantly, his palms came together, one pair under the other, in modest prayer. "I assure you, that which ails you in this world will be but a faint memory, in the next. Your experiences are only flashes. All that you feel now will help you to love the good which comes later. I feel as you feel, little human, and my Betters know that you suffer. It is the balance of things. Ah, when they prayed to me, the people named me Zuul."
