OOC Notes
The fighter carried the vampire into the emergency room, lying her down upon a wheeled bed and then quickly calling over some of the medical staff on duty. It wasn't long until Mika was taken into a room for treatment, during which Sen would be made to stay outside.
OOC Notes
Mika Shadokyoku gasped in pain as she was laid on the bed. As soon as the staff was called over, they immediately started to rush her off to surgery.
"Doctor the patient specs." one of the nurses said handing the head surgeon a file. The surgeon looked over it and nodded. "Alright people listen up, we got ourselves a Nox Sanguinesse, keep her sedated at all times, and whatever happens do not remove her eye patch." the surgeon said and the staff nodded. "Alright people lets get to work" The surgeon said and began operating on Mika.
4 hours passed before the head surgeon came out of the O.R and walked over towards Arishima "Are you related to the girl you brought in?" he asked folding his arms.

"I'm her fiance," he lied as he stood there and watched the Doctor. Close family members were always allowed to know what was going on, strangers weren't. He wasn't entirely sure why he was still there, so he had to assume that he wouldn't waste his time by leaving before he had made another ally or enemy.
"Can I see her yet?"
"Can I see her yet?"
OOC Notes
The doctor narrowed his eyes slightly and opened the file "You're her Fiancee?" the doctor asked and looked back down at the file then back up to the Arishima. In the doctor's mind, he couldn't understand why a normal looking person would want to marry a Vampire, but he had no proof that the man in front of him was not the girl's fiancee "She is stable, so we moved her to recovery" the Doctor said "She is allowed visitors at this time but I doubt she will be responsive" the Doctor said.
OOC Notes
"Thanks," he said while stepping out of the way of the doctor and going to 'recovery' as specified. He followed the signs, reached the ward, then checked all the rooms until he finally found the one in which Mika lay.
He stepped inside quietly.
He stepped inside quietly.
OOC Notes
Mika Shadokyoku lay in her hospital bed breathing normally. She looked like she was in a completely restful sleep. However upon closer investigation, it would be seen that she was actually restrained to the bed by chains.
OOC Notes
Sen made his way over to the sleeping vampire, then made to prod her lightly until she woke from her slumber. "Why are you restrained by chains and metal?" He would ask.
OOC Notes
Mika Shadokyoku stirred slightly and slowly opened her right eye "M-Master R-Razure?" she asked as she looked around. She didn't know where she was or how she got there. She quickly tried to sit up but the restraints on her wrists prevented it. She started to panic and breathe heavily. As she looked around the hospital room she saw Arishima and blushed deeply "Wh-Who are you?" she asked as she wasn't able to see anything at the time he had saved her.
OOC Notes
"Call me Sen," he replied while peering down at the chains binding her to the bed. "Did the Doctors chain you here? Why?"
He let his fingers run over the metal, even taking hold of it with both hands just to see if he could rip it apart. After a second he stopped trying.
"I brought you to the hospital, now I suppose I'm here to make sure you got treated properly."
He supposed she had been healed, yes. But treated properly? Definitely not.

Mika Shadokyoku sat back and trembled slightly again "I don't know why i'm chained up" she said looking towards Sen. "I don't want to be here" she said in a panicked voice "Please, I want to leave" She said trying her best to pull the chains off but she couldn't do it.
The fact she was chained to the bed terrified her. She began to panic more and more, desperately trying to break the chains and leave. "No, No!!!" She screamed suddenly "I don't want to be here!!" she yelled with a look of absolute terror painted on her face.

Daniel Moonlight arrived at the emergency room at Wing City Hospital and had surgery on his arm
OOC Notes
Daniel Moonlight The arm was unfixable because of the damage done by the brute and had to be replaced with a cybernetic arm equipped with a built in health detector and blade. They operated on his arm and connected the servos of the Cybernetic one to the nerves of the shoulder and sealed it up. He came out of surgery and had to get used to making sure his arm was charged everyday and that he made sure his health was good. He was relieved that they gave him a arm that worked well and had perks to it. He then got in a bus and took a ride back to gambits bar so he could work his shift for the day.
OOC Notes
She was rushed in through the doors of Wing City hospital on a stretcher, her fingers grasping onto the sides so hard that her knuckles turned white. The staff were not surprised that she was still awake, after all the gas they had given her. She had heavy gauze on the wound, though it still poured blood. So, so much blood. She should have been dead by now, this pretty woman in the sundress, who must have been walking down the street minding her own business. But she wasn't.
They rushed her toward the emergency room, where they were going to operate on he. There had not been an exit wound. The bullet was still in her.

OOC Notes
Wing City Hospital, the Emergency Room. The pallid man's suit would be the most snazzy apparel in this place, if it was not cluttered with giant smudges of soot, and fair patches of dirt stains. The ghastly smell of burnt flesh circled his person; if one took a wiff, god-forbid, the few nats hovering about the wound would be sucked into their nostrils.
Hatchet stared insie the room, and a reasonble scowl of disgust wiped over his face. There were people in here; there weren't lines and lines, but one single group of about 15 individuals. They were qietly moaning, and groaning, and crying out for care. Some were sedated, others having a hard time to stay awake period, due to the severity of their wound. Then all of a sudden, a loud screech from the wheels of a stretcher could be heard all through the halls. Hatchet snapped back his head, and peered at the entrance to the Emergency room, to see what the ruckus was about. A young woman, with red hair.
Hatchet's eye widened when he saw her, but only briefly, as he was abruptly shoved out of the before the stretcher was carted down another hall, and into a surgical room. "I was wondering where you-" "Sir! You're in the emergency room! Please come with me to be treated, yourself. That burn looks nasty." A thin, middle aged woman excalimed, as she snatched Hatchet by the arm, and dragged him in the same direction the cart went to. He lokoed down at her. "Why must you-!" He was jerked forward again by the woman. "It's nasty, nasty, nasty. It smells like rotten eggs. I can alread see that you haven't done anything to nurture it!" she snapped. A serial killer was being jerked about, and scolded at like he was child. A child who could grind your bones to make his bread. Hatchet was furious, yet he decided to be rational, and have his wound treated to the fullest. It better be treated the fullest, or else she'd be the one getting a good scolding.

the stretcher went to*

As she was wheeled into the room and placed gently onto the operating table, cutting off the clothing around the wound, which really meant the whole dress. They tossed a surgical sheet over her, put in an IV in her arm, along with an oxygen mask if she went under shock and stopped breathing.
The curtains were drawn as the surgeon went in to operate on her and take out the bullet. The heart-rate meter beeped to fast for the first minute or so, then slowed to a normal pace.
About half an hour later, the staff pulled away, and a bloody bullet clanked onto the metal tray. They pulled their masks down and stripped off their gloves, peeling back the curtains to reveal the fiery-haired woman in a hospital shift, now with stitches across her abdomen. Her eyes were distant, but she was still alive. She was also still awake.
During the whole operation.

The nurse continued her tirade of how Hatchet was an irresponsible scoundrel. And stupid. Unfortunately for him, the limb she was tugging was the one that retained the burn. Each movement made Hatchet cringe. If it wasn't on the route to infection, and horribly amuck with small sproutings of puss, then he would have already back-handed this god-forsaken female.
As the nurse strode passed the entrance of the surgical room, which contained Sana, Hatchet stumbled about after her and clutched his chest; his hand was placed just below the soldered area. Hatchet only had a short second to to glance in the room, as they cut into Sana's stomach. He tried to tug back some to hopefully pdelay the nurse's stomping, but was to no avail. His head jerked passed the doorway. In a flash.
She toko him into a small room. Three hospital personell entered the room. Hatchet furrowed his brow. "What is all this?" he inquired, his voice filled with suspicion. The nurse squinted her eyes at him in protest. "Don't worry, we just need to dissinfect the burn first, and then we need to clean it, and then we'll put a bandage on it." she answered him sharply. "Why are there three of you to do just that?" he asked, but the nurse wasted no time in answering. "Because, when an idiotic ninny, like yourself, doesn't take care of something likethis before he comes here, then that individual can be certain the care will be more painful!" The nurse was having a time with him, and she knew it; a slight smirk managed to reveal itself for the briefest second. The personnel placed their hands onto Hatchet's shoulders to hold him steady form the coming disinfectant. He snapped his head from one side to the other, as each man and woman. "If you don't remover your hands from me-" his voice was low, and calm, but he still didn't get the chance to complete his sentence. A gasp of pain escaped his lungs as a cold liquid streamed down his shoulder, and then the disinfectant. Colorful eyeballs nearly bulged out of the poor bastard's skull. The whole procedure took half and hour, due to consistent interruptions from Hatchet himself.
After that was taken care of... the nurse began to drag him out of the room, and back down the hall. He finally whipped back his hand, out of the nurse's grasp. She jolted back in exclamation. "What are you doing?!" Hatchet glared at her silently, and walked to the entrance of the surgical room. "I'm checking on a friend." he said, before poking his head in the doorway, and knocking on the open door. "Sana" he mused with a pleasant, melodical voice. "Is that you?" A simple, seemingly sincere smile spread over his face when he allowed his lense to zoom in on her face.

The woman lay on the surgical table, her fingers still clenching the sides, when Hatchet came up to her. Her green eyes darted up to meet his own red and blue ones. She recognized him so clearly that she panicked. The heart-rate meter began to beep rapidly, and she tried to move. Morphine was pumped into her veins as a result, and she relaxed soon after, too doped up to panic, but too wary to allow herself to sleep.
Eventually, a hand came up to slide off the oxygen mask. She breathed easy, trying to stop her mind from whirling. "What are you doing here?" she whispered, eyes still dancing with confusion and worry.

He lifted a hand and pointed to his shoulder; he traced a circle around the bandaged area. "A result of the former conflict I had with that demon. You remember, don't you?" He reached the finger to his chin. "You also got a piece of me, when you kneed me in the jaw." His eyes narrowed slightly. "I know you must rememer our own little tussle." He stepped fully into the surgical room; however, the assistants were wary" He took note of this, once he glanced at each of them. He lifted a hand, and patted down the air. "Don't worry, I'm just a friend. We haven't known each other for long, but would it be alright for me to speak to her." He raised his brows innocently at the employees, as he waved his hand back at the doorway. "You can stand right outside the door if you wish."The personel each glanced at each other, unsure of the situation, but willing to comply. "She needs to be transferred to a resting room. You can follow us there." a man said. Then he motioned his hand toward Sana. "It's completely up to her if she wants to speak with anybody. We usually only let family, or close friends visit the patients. If she wants you gone." A stern, solid noggin nodded at Hatchet. "You're gone."
Hatchet nodded his head politely at the man. He waved his hands in-front of him, so as to assure any request to leave would be honored... Even though it wouldn't. "You have no protest from me." His smile dissipated. A solemn expression was his ticket in. He turned his head to look at Sana, and threw up his arms in submission. "Is it okay, Sana? I'm not quite sure you have any clos friends, or family." There was just a slight tough of sadism about his tone.

She narrowed her eyes, looking at Hatchet with a wary glare. She listened to him agree with the medical staff, but she knew at once that he did not mean a word of it. To avoid trouble, she nodded weakly.
"It's fine," she told them in a weak, whispering voice, reassuring them, "He can stay. I would like to speak with him." she said, bothering to give the smallest smile. She then turned her eyes back to Hatchet, and they narrowed still before she waved the staff out of the room.
"What is it you want?" she asked him. "I don't know what even happened. I don't know why I'm here. I know I got shot. I don't know how. I'm not well, so please try not to bother me too terribly."

Hatchet shook his head, adn waved his hand in reprisal to Sana. "No, no, no. I only noticed a friend in need, is all." He titled his head with a comedical pout on his face. He creeped over to her bedside, and clasped his hands together, as he made a scrutinizing glance over her body; however he couldn't see most of it, since it was covered with a blanket. Only a slight outline of her figure. He lowered a hand down to her arm, and made the attempt to trace his fingers lightly over her skin. "You were shot, though?" His voice was distant. He pondered for a moment. "What were you doing, before you were shot?" he asked out of simple curiosity.
OOC Notes
Creep.
That was Sana's thoughts, anyway, as he moved closer to her and stretched his fingers out to run them across her body. She extended a slow hand to catch his wrist and hold it up, away from her. "You call me a friend. You hardly think of me as such, though, don't you?" she snapped tiredly, trying to get herself to sit up. Experimented bodies were beautiful things. They clung on to the will to live so strongly.
"All I remember...is opening the door to the police station. Next thing I know, I'm on the ground, bleeding, outside, with some guy screaming."

"Well now.." Hatchet's face lit up instantly when she grabbed his wrist. He reached his other hand over to his wrist to pat her. Rolling back his shoulders and straigtening himself up. He cuffed a hand over his mouth, before he cleared his throat. "These are sneaky times we live in, Sana. Friends mean everything to a.. An individual, when we live in sneaky times." He snapped his free arm up, and pointed a finger to the ceiling; the arm of his suit flexing. "As I always say, 'There is a time for everything...!'" He exclaimed briefly. Then his voice lowered. "And the time for friends, is now, Sana. Otherwise, you end up getting..." He glanced down at her stomach, and lowered his hand to hover over the blanket. It was only inches above. "...something run through you." He flicked his wrist, and extended his finger at her face; his hand was still only inches above the blanket. Subseqently he curled his wrist down, and puppeted his fingers to 'walk' on the air above Sana's body; they were inching closer to her face. All the while he snickered and smirked.
OOC Notes
That insinuated too many things. Whether he meant claw or anything else, she was instantly uncomfortable. She let go of his wrist in a flick, instead using her hands to push herself up and turn away from him. The blanket edged off, but she caught it in time. However, Hatchet would be able to have a good view of her back, where a certain something seems to of been missing.
"You've got a way at finding me when I'm vulnerable," she said to him venomously. She tried to get her feet on the ground, but she was overcome with dizziness. She sat back down, arms folded around herself gently. "You want that other guy you were fighting not too long ago. Correct?"

OOC Notes
Hatchet was first memserized by the extra portion of skin he was allowed to see. "Mmm." He hummed under his breath. It was only after he released a short snicker that turned into a smal, slight grunt of confusion. He cleard his throat again. That was embarassing. He was a bit.. concerned with himself that he had just partaken in that particular action. 'Grunting.' He pointed at her back, and was about to inquire her about it; however, his thoughts were immediately stricken with distaste. "I want him dead. That is correct. Why would have any concern about that? You're not working with me.. Not yet." An anxious smile came about his face. He folded his arms over his chest, as he awaited her reply.

Hey guys,
Just letting everyone know that I've gone through and found as many abandoned characters as I could and placed them back into their original creator's list of characters. There were several thousand characters who I could not determine the owner for, and as such I've placed those in the orphanage.
You're free to abandon them again if you wish!
Sincerely,
Your Friendly Multiversal GM

Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
Hello folks!
There's been a lot of talk lately (mostly unpleasant and misunderstanding) about the invasion and occupation of Terra plot that Barney and I have been working on for over a month and which was recently unveiled publicly (apparently?) in the Multiverse. The idea behind most roleplay usually termed "nation roleplay" or "NRP" is not to overtake or dominate a large-scale roleplay, but to enrich and provide sociological, economic, and political background to such a setting. "Nation roleplay," or roleplaying that involves nation states, de facto state entities, or state-like factions, is intended to be a breeding ground for character development, provide a backdrop for character interactions, and create multiple avenues for diverse and engaging plotlines to develop at both micro and macro levels.
In my own writing, I focus predominantly on the development of individual characters and the dynamics of interactions among those characters. I find overarching, meta-plotlines like this invasion plotline to be an excellent impetus for engendering and fostering more vibrant and compelling character interactions and new plot ideas by creating multiple sources of tension. Characters need not have any high rank or formal affiliation with a faction in order to be impacted by larger events (think of what happens to average citizens when any country goes to war), nor will they necessarily be directly affected in any significant way (think about the everyday lives of most Americans during the Iraq war.) But you, the writers and roleplayers, will have a myriad of opportunities to create, develop, and form deeper and more interesting plots to feature your character(s), given a new set of macro-circumstances.
Both Barney and I welcome and encourage anyone who is interested in active involvement in the invasion plot at any level (very active to vaguely active) in any way whatsoever to talk to either or both of us about your ideas, character(s), and plans. A large number of people have already done so, including the following people:
- krumbla -- I can't remember his idea (I'm sorry, krumbla; talk to me when I'm not sick as a dog?)
- Mr. Crow -- News media company to be formed before the invasion and to provide support to the resistance or rebels following the occupation
- curtsive -- Vigilante anti-terrorist organization to conduct terrorist operations against the occupation
- Alasund De'astio -- plays the Democratic Coalition, allies of the current (canonical to Ylanne) Terran government
- Nemo -- typically handles the military side of the Terran government, as well as Randin Kaye from the Wing City Police Department
- DemiKara -- whose character Aerilyn recently joined the Terran Intelligence Bureau
- Konstantein -- plays a daywalking vampire who will act against the occupation
- AzricanRepublic -- plays the UCON, which has a military presence near Terra and supports the TNG
- Marcus -- plays the Council, which has a vested interest in defending Terran sovereignty
- Tearen Wover -- plays VARIAtech corporation, which is offering military assets to the Terrans
And I'm certain I've forgotten someone (in which case, if that's you, I do sincerely apologize. It's one a.m. and I'm still sick.)
Barney and I have sketched out an overview of how we expect the plot to run from beginning to middle to end; however, despite the fact that both of us obviously plan on the plot following that sequence, it can change its course at any point depending on the ideas and in-character actions of any other folks who decide to get involved.
Some of the plots to occur during the invasion and occupation, both planned and still in discussion, already discussed include the following:
- Arianne Drulovic subjected to an order of indefinite detention
- Democratic Coalition rescuing Drulovic from Aschen custody
- Terran resistance kidnapping self-proclaimed God-Emperor Raphael McGregor
- Drulovic psychologically "breaking" McGregor with his estranged wife Cally
- Hataf attack against Aschen Empire holdings
- Guerrilla warfare between Democratic Coalition, UCON, and Terran forces against Aschen forces
- Taiyou attack on Aschen-controlled Terra
- Terran Independent underground dissident publication
- Jelisaveta Drulovic and family taking Natalija Drulovic's children off-world
- Rubano Malijin assuming power as regional Governor of Terra
- Public executions of political dissidents
- Internal rebellion against Aschen government by dissident Aschen leaders
I strongly encourage anyone and everyone to seek me out to talk plot, character, and ideas. Both existing and newly created characters can be involved with any plot, either existing or newly proposed by you. If you feel that this planned plotline (invasion and occupation) will unnecessarily or unfairly interrupt or alter your own plans for character or plot development, and you passionately want to retain your own plans as much as possible, please talk to me. I am very obsessive and have high levels of anxiety about maintaining the integrity and substance of my plans, so I know how you feel, and am more than happy to collaborate with you to work out something that satisfies you and makes logical sense.
If I'm not in the chat at any given time, I can be reached via private message, or by email at trealistorm (at) yahoo.com. Messages to that email address are delivered directly to my smartphone, which I check obsessively all day long, and will be read and replied to as soon as possible. (Usually within twelve hours, and sometimes within as little as ten minutes.) I want to hear your ideas and opinions (but please be polite to me; I do have feelings and am a real person over here), and I want to make sure that you don't feel like I am trampling over you or your character(s) or your plot(s).

[OOC] Taylor's Bar (Multiverse Location)
This is the official OOC thread for Taylor's Bar. I'll post staff, recent events, and other information about Taylor's here.
Taylor's Bar is a location owned by my character, Gabriel Taylor. The Bar/Hotel/Casino is extremely fortified and secured. Each entrance has a metal detector and the place is usually fully staffed with employes. Taylor handles all of his business in house and law enforcement is nearly never called. Various precautions have been set around the bar to account for the magical inhabitants of Terra and keep it's inhabitants safe.

Taylor’s Casino and Hotel Grand Opening!
Gabriel Taylor, multimillionaire and owner of Taylor’s Bar, a successful nightclub and hang out for the rich and wealthy, has moved onto his next venture; A casino and hotel. Patrons of Taylor’s bar may have noticed construction going on around back as well as various signs and posters apologizing for the inconvenience; The large tower coming up behind the bar would be rather noticeable to say the least. Last month we got a word with Gabriel Taylor’s manager and he’s said that he has big plans for this place.
“Terra’s never had a place quite like this; Gabriel’s casino will be the first. The casino is the largest in the world and it’s also the most secure. Not only won’t we be hit, but we can’t be hit. We’ve brought in security experts from around the world to devise the most advanced security system Terra has seen. We invite anyone who believes they have what it takes to try and rob us, but I won’t be responsible for your injuries or the blow to your self-esteem. Try to teleport through our walls? Have fun getting stuck inside of them. We’ve worked with various experts in the field of magic and technology to create a sort of ‘teleportation displacer’ as well as armed our guards with anti-magic grenades. Although obviously not 100 percent effective, it gets the job done.
The hotel is large and extravagant. It has everything you’d ever need, ranging from a five star restaurant to indoor pools, and a top of the line spa. Our 2nd floor hosts a large assortment of stores holding anything you can think of including the finest clothing and the newest technology. “
The casino and hotel’s grand opening is April 9th at 7 pm. The party at Taylor’s bar goes from 7 pm to 2 am, but good luck getting in. The guest list is packed and with the security at Taylor’s it’s going to be difficult sneaking in.

Re: [OOC] The Gaia Stones [IC Fantasy Event]
We have a an Official Group now. Whoohoo. I will edit some more details later on in the day due to my exhaustion.
[OOC] The Gaia Stones [IC Fantasy Event]

The Gaia Stones is a plot that I am currently GMing within The Multiverse on a planet deep within the Milky Way system where technology is not allowed and will not be able to function. The world is ruled completely by magic and magic law. The story consists of people being summoned to the planet Gaia (if they did not spawn on the planet themselves) and were brought to The Ruby Flask. They were given a task to follow a powerful mage named Ry'nn Traeger to collect stones which would unseal powerful weapons that had once been used to forge the kingdom. The purpose behind the quest beyond that remains to yet be seen.

THE WEAPONS
Skuldgrim the Slayer of Undead
Skuld was the first sword forged on the world of Gaia in the Xanaldra Forge. It is a legendary blade that has not been seen for a hundred generations. It once served Gaia when the undead were a threat to all living beings on the Mother’s soil and vanquished The Risen Horde during the age of Those Who No Longer Roam sent by Eras.
The blade of the sword is long and elegant with a pointed edge that is perfect for piercing into armor. Down its length is the engraving of Sagittae—a beautiful woman—in finely etched lines on one side and the other is the engraved representation of Atargatis—a strong and lithe man. The edges are blunt and glow with a strange red flame from enchantment. The blade and hilt are made from a very light weight and mysterious metal.
The pommel of the sword is marked with an engraving which represents the goddess Sagittae; one of the stars of Gaia and the Mother’s protector from the evil god Eras. The sheath is blood red. It is unbreakable and will never shatter.
It is a sword meant to battle the undead which roam mindlessly on Gaia; skeletons, reanimated corpses, and shades. But with all swords of power, there is a weakness. It cannot kill any living soul and may only be used on the undead.
Artrea the Healing Gauntlets
Artrea were gauntlets worn by a legendary man named Lysander Enlight. The gauntlets were hidden beneath the soil of The Exalted Mountains and were used to light the world when Eras had almost consumed his siblings. For seven turnings of Gaia had Artrea served to the be sole beacon on hope for all living things on the world.
The gauntlets are made from a mysterious metal which is completely white in color, almost as if they were made of our pearl. But they are as harder than any metal known to the current world as the knowledge died with Those Who No Longer Roam. They will light the path when light is needed most.
Glittering feathers protrude backwards and out from the wrist. The fingers are sharpened like ten deadly claws that can grip any surface short of diamonds. It is easy to scale a wall with the gauntlets. But that is not what make the weapons deadly. So sharp in fact are they, that they can pierce through most armor and can slice through human flesh like a razor through parchment. But their greatest power is the ability to touch others and heal their mortal wounds through the use of Will.
There is always a weakness that comes with weapons of great power. Those who adorn the gauntlets and use its abilities will soon find their eyesight failing on them over a long period of time. All those that have ever used them—even once—have gone blind with age. And when they are used to heal, the adorner will find themselves very drained as if their own life-force had been passed into the other in order to save their life.
Questions, suggestions, and comments should be directed here, especially when chat is busy or when I am not online or active in the chat.
Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
Actually if you want it as a news report, at least offically so, there is a News Thread for the Multiverse as a whole
Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
Sangrei's only statement was this. "Hey, I was hungover, and I got an iced tea with honey. How was I supposed to know that the bear thing was gonna come over and wreck the bar looking for goddamn honey?"
Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
Gambit's Bar was drained of all its honey by a mysterious yellow bear!

Unfortunately, Wing City police did not know this and were left in confusion to find only a yellow teddy bear with a red shirt at the scene of the crime.
The only customer under record who had ordered a glass of honey that day was a Sangrei Friedn. Responsibility for the bill and possibly the stolen stock of honey have yet to be decided. Police still find Friedn a suspect.

HAHAHAHAHA. The conclusion isn't coming til closer to the summer. Frequency of activity and times when the folks who are involved currently has dropped quite a bit for a variety of reasons, and I don't anticipate the conclusion to Family Pictures for a bit. That said, for those who pay attention to the faction-side of things, the announcement that elections have taken place for the Terran National Government will be posted soonish (i.e. within the next two weeks insh'Allah.)
Those who might be expecting me for roleplay, I will have no internet access this Thursday through Sunday this week except from my phone or if I can access someone else's computer with internet access. You will only be able to reliably reach me via email, which goes to my phone. If you don't have mine, any staff member does, as would anyone who regularly roleplays with me. Thanks!
Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
There's no real procedure to get "started" in the Multiverse. The hub of activity is generally Gambit's Bar, but you can grab a roleplay partner and head anywhere. The sky's the limit!
Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
I'm new here, and I just made my first character. How do I get started in the multiverse? I'd like to stick mostly to Terra to keep as close to my character's home as possible, but if I have to move, I will.
If you want to check out my character, go to roleplay/the-multiverse/characters/lorenzo-caracciolo
By the way, that is not near my real name, so don't worry.

You can create and play anything that you like in the Multiverse. There is no acceptance or review of characters, just create the character and start RPing!

Hello folks! I'm currently maybe two-thirds of the way through the planned Family Pictures sequence, which can be read here, and am posting one last announcement looking for folks who might still want to become part of that. Re: The Multiverse: Where Do We Go?
Um. Okay. Bear with me. I read through what posts I saw, and took note on things that were said to the best of my ability. Here's where I stand on the Multiverse, where the Multiverse is to me, and yeah. I guess.
I agree that there needs to be a set baseline. For instance, the name of the bar. The name of the world that the bar is on. The name of cities, nearby things like that. There can be a set system of government, the Wing City Police Department, but their "jurisdiction" only stretches so far. Some of the most interesting roleplay I've seen/participated in has involved characters coming from other worlds and having to either deal with, work around, or confront the system of government set in the Multiverse.
Alternately, some of the worst and most frustrating MV roleplaying I've seen has been .. involving characters coming from other worlds and having to deal with, work around, or confront the system of government set in the Multiverse.
I've always seen the MV as a hallways connecting various rooms. The rooms are your own story, your own ideas, your own canon, your own characters; it's where your friends gather and you control things. When you're out in that hall, however, all bets are off. That isn't to say you can pull things out of your ass, but you accept and understand a certain amount of handicap.
For instance, my character Liesha Kennicot is a Special Agent in the United States government, from her Earth. She's aware that there are other Earths, and that she doesn't had any control when in the MV. That's fine. However, when someone else walks up to her and starts trying to give her orders claiming that their faction has taken over mine without a single bit of IC content, that's when things start to go awry.
Reading back over the original post, it seems that the Multiverse has as much substance as you give it. It's a sandbox location where you can freely interact with new characters that you might not get a chance to. For a while, I used the MV as a way to try and test out ideas with people before making a roleplay out of it. You get your circles of friends (as Patch mentioned, his crew of eight) and you go at it. Sometimes you meet in the middle, and sometimes you don't.
And at the risk of ranting, that is all I have to say about that.
