Setting
Situated on an off-shot of Hearthwater Channel, the very foundation of Scale-Rest is the sunken ruins of what may have once been a separate Alneh city. However, it is farther from the coast then any other Alneh city ever recorded. However, if the Bogscale race had any form of racial memory, then they would remember that it was once their home. They would also realize why each and every Bogscale has either deep red eyes or shockingly gold eyes...
Constructed on strong, fibrous planks above the stagnant waters, Scale-Rest looks almost alien compared to the rest of the swampland surrounding it. Using bio-luminescent fungi are their light sources, though they aren't necessarily needed as the Bogscale themselves have adopted to low-light environments, giving them an almost crystal-clear field of vision, even in the darkest of darks.
On to the very race that inhabits this 'citadel' and the areas around it. Each Bogscale is roughly humanoid, bearing all the necessary limbs, with the exception of the Deathbites, who have a long, prehensile tail instead of legs. They are devoid of hair of any kind, however spinal spikes are not uncommon for Razorjaws or Scalemen. Coming back to basics, each race easily towers above the other sentient races that they share Alneh with, the shortest of the tribes being the Deathbites, and yet they still carry a foot of height over the tallest Alneh. The tallest faction being the Razorjaws, as on average they are a monstrous eleven feet tall. Each tribe is heavily scaled, a natural form of armor. Although each race boast mighty warriors around, only the Razorjaws focus primarily on martial practices, while the Scalemen show adapt use of some primal forms of magic, and the Deathbites are viciously cunning and dexterous...
