Reuniting the Fallen
The faint glow of taillights temporarily illuminated the veil of darkness that the midnight sky had provided as the diesel truck blazed down the winding road. Rocky, unpaved, desolate, much like the past that had followed the drive in the past few years, the road twisted and turned, offering more than a few places that would provide peril for the cargo in transit. Yet, the well exercised reflexes of the driver easily toned and adjusted to the shifts of roadway before the driver slowed the massive vehicle to a stop. The heavy rumble of the engine itself forced only the cab itself to shudder, the cargo behind it weighing far too much for even the diesel itself to lift, only carry.
The opening of the door offered an inaudible creak before the engine shut off entirely as the large driver stepped out. A faint glow emitted as a heavy inhale from the cigarette between the driver’s lips offered his presence to any whom were around to glance, yet there simply were none. The spires of gray smoke from the inhale flared only to life in a few stray strands of moonlight that brushed across it before dispersing it out into the air.
Lifting himself up to the trailer, the driver crawled across the massive length of the covered trailer to the middle area of it. Dropping from view, the faint glow of electronics irradiated that section of covering as the hiss of hydraulics sounded.
The call sounded, bearing the mark that had been considered long dead for years. Spreading out across the globe, offered that horrendous alarm that he himself had hated to hear. They would arrive soon, and they would be prepared. It was simply a matter of time before the war began, and it was time for him to show his face once again.
As he kicked back, reclining casually within the cushions of the cockpit itself, the driver accessed the latest flow of news. The flow of bad news had failed to cease, only adding to the list of long dead friends and comrades that he’d formerly worked with. He was unsure of whom to expect, but he was sure someone would come, rather soon. It would be quite a surprise though, especially since the Southern Wind had been long dead for the past five years.

Fingers tensed against the smooth surface, layered with unique patterns beneath them. The contractions of muscles through the well toned arms pulled back on the convex hand controls within the dimly lit confines of the spherical cockpit displaying the environment all around him. The smile etched across the young man’s face was one fueled by sheer thrill. Within the abyss of space, the cobalt illuminated frame increased speed, leaving nothing but a streaked of charged ion particles from the twin Tesla-Drive propulsion engines. Here, deep in the vastness of space, the pilot could let himself go in what could be considered a joy ride. All good things, of course, come to an end.
A simple tone, a beep, or a call that the pilot had known well from days long past, broke through the impressive sounds coming from the anti-gravity propulsion units. A dialog box stretched across the displays within eye view of the pilot. Bordered in red, the two golden letters that marked the beginning stood out against the black background of the message. The symbols of a once vast and powerful unit; the stylized ‘H’ followed by a rather simple ‘G’. Old memories flowed through the impressively complex genetically engineered mind of the pilot, as he began to read the red text aloud.
“Priority One: follow signal beacon to Location Alpha. Mission details will be delivered upon arrival,” the words flowed out, cold, yet somewhat amused.
A small keyboard was pulled into place from the side of the pilot seat. Commands were keyed in quickly, tracing the route that the signal had taken. While originally transmitted to cross the globe, the proprietary }{G signal would covertly hitch rides on satellite communications, beaming out important information out into space, where it could be picked up on either communications devices supplied by the old unit, or mobile weapons, such as the one the pilot was in. The signal itself was highly encrypted, originally done by the founder of the unit and the pilot in the cockpit, utilizing their superior minds. Unfortunately, as impressive as his intellect was, there was no way he could get to the designated location within a years time by normal means.
Of course, there were always other ways.
Pressing a control on the same silver, near ball like controls that his hands rested on, the primarily black, with dark blue accents mobile suit shifted its shape. Now in a configuration resembling more of a high speed, one man vessel, floated idly in space. Using the keyboard once more, coordinates were inputted into the computer, before another essential key press.
“Fold System Activated,” announced a digitized feminine voice, “Safeties removed. System, green. Coordinates, confirmed. Fold charge commencing.”
Outside, particles of energy began to swirl around the frame of the mobile weapon. The charging flow was building in intensity, growing from the tiny, near insignificant speckles, to a mass of blinding light surrounding the outside. Inside the cockpit, the displays automatically darkened, allowing the pilot to not lose vision, though his own eyes would have adjusted near instantly anyway. The countdown that was displayed in its own separate window counted off the three minute charging procedure. While, he could have used the stored energy to produce an emergency fold, he didn’t see a reason to waste it in this case. Once it reached zero, the pilot pressed another command.
“Spatial Fold Initiated,” the digitized voice announced before the mobile weapon seemed to slip into space itself. By taking two coordinates, the Fold System generated enough energy through bombardment of matter and anti-matter to slip within subspace. Here the craft would be accelerated to light speed. Within six seconds, the pilot reappeared on the other side, beyond a world he knew well, then accelerating again towards the atmosphere. The intense heat from entering at this speed was diverted around the mobile weapon. This mode was specifically meant for atmosphere re-entry. The streak of red that tore through the night sky was nothing to worry about. Perhaps, deep down the pilot wanted people to know that he was here. Though, there was only one that really needed to know.
The heat dissipated, while the pilot opened up a communication channel. He took in a deep breath, the star scattered sky could still be breath taking, even when someone was used to being within the veil of darkness for many long months. Pulling a pair of sunglasses from his pocket, the dark lenses hid the eyes of the serious looking pilot before he began his communication.
“Kiyoshi Kazami, Codename: Future, reporting in,” he said, a cold smirk following his words.

As the Ascendant plunged through the clouds, its orange-and-crimson panels still faintly glowing from its plunge through the atmosphere, Zhelir smirked. It was odd; he had sworn off joining this W.I.N.G.E.D. group because he believed organized resistance to be too slipshod and too much of a powder keg, yet he felt comforted in rejoining his old group, which seemed to do one hell of a lot of resisting. It's probably because we aren't a cluster of glory-hungry fools, he thought half-way bitterly, Our members fight for a cause, not so they can say they played some helping hand in this or that.
The call had initially reached him aboard the Icarus, shortly after his broadcast to the city had made. He had altered the course of the Icarus immediately, and had since then gone over the Ascendant, making sure all was well and working. He had dropped from the ship a minute or so ago, and was waiting to come in range for a secure communications link with his old boss.
A dull tone, quiet and unobtrusive, chimed. He shifted his gaze to the left, his raven hair temporarily obscuring his vision, as a communications channel was opened.
"This's Rain reportin' in. I'm damn happy t'join in whatever's goin' on, but be warned that a good chunk of the city's survivors think I'm a terr'rist right now."

A sound eminates from a drawer in a room of a modest log cabin in the forest of the northwestern United States. A drawer that's long since been opened. Startled by the sound, Jacen gets up and walks towards it, his hand shaking. "I know that sound, but it can't be. It just can't." He pulls out the small box-shaped device and stares at it.
He heads outside and makes his way to a small concrete shack with a solid metal door. The once bright metal is now covered with rust. One can tell this door has not been opened for some time. "It's been what, close to five years?" He pushes a button on the small device he pulled from the drawer and the door slides open, straining a bit more than Jacen remembers. He steps inside and the door slides shut. The internal lights illuminate as the elevator begins to drop. As he enters the hangar bay, the mobile suit stands where it always had. There was something different though. A faint glow began to eminate from the eyes and the cockpit was open. He glances up at the shoulder piece where the }{G logo was. A large gash slit diagonally through the outer armor plating severing the logo in two. Remnants of the final battle. What was formerly believed to be the final battle anyway. He steps onto the gangway and makes his way into the cockpit sliding the small device into it's holder. The cockpit springs to life with all the familiar lights and sounds. Then he sees the small viewscreen off to the right. "It's true, they've returned..."
"Authentication confirmed. Commander Jacen Solo, codename EpyonZERO195, reporting in. Awaiting further instructions."
He returns to his cabin to find his old gear. "I have a feeling I'll be needing this soon." As he did years before, he begins to clean his sidearm.

Gundam Gears sat in his office, in his Dark Zero Torguite, a rather large ship where all business and such would be decided. He began to thing deeply into this war of Wing City and Lexumbourg and quickly thought of an idea that would hopefully help. He began to call up each of the generals of the Land, Air and Space military branchyed that served under Dark Zero Empire. He would begin to call the leader of the Space Deca Military as follows.
"General Jimison, sir, It is Gundam Gears. We have an issue to resolve. I am requesting you to gather up all of our Tauros ships and go and take out all spacial military Lexumbourg has so our air and ground soldiers can get through. And please, don't fail me. This is our biggest moment now."
The General would soon reply as followed in a deep tone.
"Sir, will do. We are launching them as we speak."
As the conversation was finished with General Jimison, The Tauros' were launched and began to destroy all Satellite's and any other military weapons, whether it be Gundams or Transporters, that belonged to Lexumbourg. Explosions that would look like stars appeared everywhere, as pieces of metal went flying through the atmosphere as anything in the Space Deca Military tore through to Lexumbourg.
Soon as the final Tauros was launched, Gears began to call upon General Korinago and speak to the man as follows.
"General, I am requesting..." Gears would be cut off by the general as he spoke these words.
"We have already launched Ground Deka and Air Deka military out. They should be landing soon." Gears-"Good, Good, I shall arrive after you clear out all people."
The Air Deka would enter the atmosphere, Flying Eva's would begin to destroy any Anti-Air weapons and any large militant weapons, if any got in their way. Craters in the ground would be seen as small explosions shot into the ground from the Eva's Tyqore rifle. Each emitting a rather small, but powerful beam, shooting at anything in their way.
A fleet of nearly ten thousand ships would drop down from the sky, each looking like Nechromonger ships following after the Air Deka Military. Tearing through the atmosphere, leaving a trail of dark matter being dispersed behind them into the wind. Each growing nearer to the city called Lexumbourg. Each would land surrounding the city of Lexumbourg, as tens of thousands of soldiers would pour from the Necromonger ships and begin to invade Lexumbourg, destroying all in their paths. Blood shed was before them, each soldier wearing the mark of Dark Zero Empire on their uniforms. Soldiers, rushing into homes, business' and political power points, killing anything in their paths.
As the Ground Deka began to kill, a rather large Gundam, shot from the sky in the following way.
-=-Gears slowly walked out of a door, slamming it behind him as he walked towards a giant mech hanging on the wall. He raised his head slowly looking at it. He then raised his right hand towards the wall, flicking a switch. As the switch went up, lights turned on, and mist was being sucked out of the room through vents on the floor. Gears then began to walk towards another door, right beside the giant mech. He stepped, his steps clanking on the ground, each sound vibrating through the metal hanger. He reached the door on the north wall and raised his left hand towards the wall. As he did, a green light began to glow around his left hand. A door slid open quickly, as a long tunnel made of spiralling stairs was seen. Gears began to walk up the stairs. As he stepped on the first step, the door that had just opened, slid closed, locking behind Gears. Gears began to jog up the stairs, his steps vibrating here from steel wall, to steel wall. Gears got to the top, looking out at the ground from the room he was now in. He began to press a few keys and pull a few levers. As he did, red lights began to flash about, loud sirens being heard as a voice was heard from speakers in the roof of the hanger. The voices spoke, "SMS-EVA-066, readying for launch. The glass casing that covored it began to unfreeze as it opened. Gears watch the ice melt to the ground as steam poured out from the bottom of it , covering the flood and the feet of the gundam. Gears then walked into a door to the left of his and began to slip into his Bio-Chamber suit. Placing his left foot in, then his right, till his was fully dressed. He then stood there, in a black suit. He slowly walked out of the door, back into the room with the buttons and levers once again. He laughed a bit as he placed his helmet on his head. He began to latch the clips from the helmet to the suit, so it wouldn't come off. Each one clicking. He got the clips latched as he grabbed a tube from the front of his helmet, around his mouth piece as he took the other end of the tube and placed it over his heart. Gears then began to walk towards his gundam. He got next to the head, but turned left, looking at a long tube. It read, "Bio-Tech Eva-000" Gears ran over to it and jumped in it. As he did, a steel wall covored the space he jumped in through. The tube then began to fill with a blue liquid as a pressurizing sound was heard from the outside. The tube let off one loud sound and quickly shot into the back of the Gundam. Sliding into the neck and into the skull. Where the tube had just entered, Three plates of Vibranium covored the hole. Finally he was ready to launch. The Gundams eye's began to glow dark red, as did the outlining of the black vibranium armor, the gundam was made of. Gears began to move around, making sure everythign was fine. He clenched his fists and as he did, the gundam did. Gears began to get a serious look on his face as he said, "Ready to launch, all systems go." As he said that, a screened room, across from the gundam, was filled with people as they began to count, "Three, Two, One, Launch." As the people said Launch, a spring loaded platform, quickly shot off, launching the gundam into space. Smoke following Gears, he laughed a bit. He then began to cut through the atmosphere, his armor heating up, but not really affecting him. Gears finally reached space, breaking the atmosphere. As he hit space, he did a complete 360' turn. As he hit eighty degrees, a green beam shot from SMS-EVA-0666 right hand. Once he stopped he looked at his opponent as he held a long green, sword and his Acceleration gears ready to move his about as small flames emitted from them. Gears lifted his hand to the roof of the Bio-Tech chamber he was in, and as he did, a image of a Eva-000 was seen. It would glow green as it looked around for a bit and then dissapeared. This green orb began to just spiral in the center of SMS-EVA-0666's chest armor. He then quietly waited for his Treize to show his face.

Jacon was in the air, the Ascending fractal at the middle of a small United African colonies billet fleet, The fleet, assembled at the city of Khartoum, in the Sudan, had been waiting for any excuse to attack European assets, and this attack from the orbital faculty was an excellent cover. The first two ships one older Galactia freighter, and two other Constitution Class starships, the Hunter, and the Pretos had just been assembled, and they were ready to go, their engines burning thought the desert air. The Galactia class starship, the “Vengeance of Ancestors” launched from the advanced base, and flew above Egypt, quickly shooting down several fighters on its way to Luxembourg, while crossing over the sparkly populated regions of Sicily and lower France. The two Constitution class freighters took of, their mission to defend the heavy carrier-battleship until it reached the city of Luxembourg, their peregrine class fighters, the F-22, and the Russian bult Su-35s establishing a defense region, The commander of the “Vengeance of Ancestors actually reached France, the local EU defense fleet already waiting for him, The Pretos fired its cannon however, engaging the other French built medium carriers into a fleet battle, the massive ion, phaser, and railguns both firing over the Cannes region of France. The Vengeance escaped, it launching its own type of mech, several old BattleMechs, two 50 foot mechs called Pumas, and one 75footer called a MadCat. The MadCat ran across the country side, Luxembourg being less than 100 miles, at the several Su-45s, F-16s and troop carriers also landing near the Alsace, Luxembourg being almost in sight, the Hunter started to fire several long range cannon blasts at the city’s known defense locations, smaller missiles with firepower equivalent to about 2000 tons of TNT per missile. Luxembourg’s Defense cannons shot down most of the long range missiles, but one hit, causing massive jamming and limited sensor views for a twenty block radius. the UAF battle group starting to support the invaders from Orbit. “Hello there unknown invaders,” The captain calmly stated, “We are the United African fleet alpha, and we are finically claming vengeance for past deeps done by the bankers of this region, We shall defend your strikes, What are your orders?”

Gundam Gears stood in the vast of space, the outskirts of earths atmosphere. He would respond to the man named Ryand as followed.
"I need you to escort the people of Wing City to the transporter ships. They are one mile west, 27 degrees. Once you have gotten those people out, leave. I'm going to destroy this whole city and leave it as sand in the desert."
Gundam Gears nded his message still sitting ther in space, waiting for his moment to annhialate this city.

There was a dull whir from the patio behind the well-lit chateau. It started softly, slowly, and then the pace quickened, the rush of air rising. Soon an unmarked, black helicopter rose from those walls, hovering for a moment or two above the building before, tilting to the east, it moved off, disappearing soon into the dark of night. Almost immediately, the lights that illuminated the luxurious compound’s façade went black.
The new sounds came from the west. It was as though some great mechanical monster was crawling slowly toward the city, its gears and pistons working effortlessly as it closed the distance moment by moment. Loyalists knew how to keep their mouths shut. It had been muttered among their number that this would happen, but by whom and with what had been kept a mystery. They had been given a date and a time, and were told to leave the city before that point. None had ignored this warning.
Pressing on, the treads of a myriad of armored tanks rolled onto the first of the cobblestone city streets. It was eerily quiet when the engines were cut short, every machine rumbling to a stop in unison. A last call for the stragglers to free themselves from the ensuing destruction.
Then they kicked up again, and there was no moment of rest between that and the mortar shells that began to fly. Propelled from their turrets, launched in, and through, the surrounding architecture, a clear path was made for the tanks to roll through. There was no method to the madness. Things that stood well out of the way were obliterated, while buildings that lay right in the path were passed by.
Here a building’s supports failed, and it tumbled in on itself, a cloud of ash and concrete dust billowing out around it. There a bridge, just crossed by a squadron of tanks, was then turned on and sunk into the river it had allowed passage over. The night was lit with the brilliant flashes of yellow, white, orange and red as explosions rocked the surroundings.
From above he watched, the figure that remained untouched by it all. Those deep blue eyes closed, and he sighed deeply. So it had come to that. Beauty, the beauty of the city, of the rich history each brick held within it, had to be sacrificed for the agenda to be realized. With each mortar shell’s explosion he felt a tinge of guilt.
The black turtleneck and overcoat protected him from the shrill winds the helicopter’s speed created, and he rested his forehead in the palms of his hands, taking his gaze from the window as he leaned slightly forward. It was time to relocate. He had wished to stay a bit longer in Luxembourg, but the attack had made that impossible. He found it oddly amusing that they had implicated him in the second attack, despite the fact that he was quite sure not a single legitimate link existed to do so.
Then he had heard of their plans to ruin the city. For a place existing so closely to his heart, he would sooner die than allow them to obliterate it. But its destruction was necessary for the coming events, and he was much more willing that it be by his hands than theirs.
It was ablaze now, as that oceanic gaze swept the European panorama far below. Shaking his head and pushing a few strands of that chestnut hair from his forehead, he urged the pilot to move faster as he watched those tanks recede into the darkness they had appeared from. Undetected, even to him, a single tear rolled down his cheek.

The Gundam that sat on the brink of space looked at the earth, showing no care for it. It's right arm began to raise up, as it did, a rather long, black and red blade rose with it. It's energy bagen to rise, as a powerful blast would soon erupt from it. This blase, causing lightning to spark as it tore through the atmosphere towards Lexunbourg. It's red colour would not be mistaken. It impactd into the heart of the city, causig a great explosion of uknown elemnts. Soon, this city of beuty was erupted to sand and ash. It appeared as if nothign ever existed there except for a large crater. All this was done after Wing City and Ground Deka Military was removed from the city. Every soldier, W.C. Citizen returned to the large carrier ship, that they would soon call a home for the time.
"Treize, you were not smart enough to show yourself, and lookl at the destruction you ensured. Much more of this shall happen if you do not show your face, and turn your self into the Dark Zero Empire. I shall warn you one last time. Because eventually, you will run out of places to hide."
All the Space, Air, and Ground Deka fources had returened to th Home ship, DekaNor XIII, leaving no energy traces to fall behind, as Lexunbourg was wiped off the face of the earth.
"People of earth, do not call this a terror attack, it is nothing to fear. If Treize turns himself into the Dark Zero Empire, the earth will not even see this destruction anymore. It shall be the beggining of a new peace. But if you do call this a terro attack, I will be a terror to earth, and remove it from this galaxy, as did the past Necronmongers. So be warned, Treize surrenders, or earth is no more. All shall be in the name of peace. So, please, for your sake, capture Treize and turn him over to the Dark Zero Empire."
With that being said, the military forces and W.C. citizens would no longer be seen in this galaxy for now.

Selena De La Mar rested under a large oak tree, the undergrowth providing a comfy spot. A dual set of moons rose up over the horizon, giving the surrounding trees an ethereal glow.
OOC Notes
Vito Milanetti walks through the forest watching the moon through the branches of the tree. Then is suddenly suprised by the sleeping girl on the ground. Looks around the forest, then back at the girl. "Uuum, Hello." He says nodging her slighly.
OOC Notes
Selena De La Mar looked up, her lids heavy from sleep. Shaking her head forcefully, she tilted her neck up to see the man, her ocean colored eyes widening. "Blessed Be, sir."
OOC Notes
Vesatia Shadoweaver stood in the dimly lit woods, her eyes glancing up at the moons, then back down to the forboding darkness. In the distance, she spots two figures, one on the ground and one standing. "Let's gosee what this is all about...maybe it could be fun..." Pulling her cutlass from her side, Vesatia slowly began to creep towards the two up ahead.

"Sorry to interupt you but don't you think this is a-hold1" He spins around throwing a small two inch knife at a tree next to the figure creeping up towards them it hits with a dull thunk. "I heard the drawing of you blade. Announce yourself or the next is one is for your throat!"

OOC Notes
Raevanna Kayuk Leingod sits quietly atop a tree branch, staring down at the sudden mass of people. It would be so simple to slit each and every one of their throats, before any of them realised what was taking place. But no, she would sit and wait, it wouldn't be fun to simply kill them. Besides, killing wasn't very fun at all, especially with the mess...
OOC Notes
Selena De La Mar gasped, a dainty olive green hand covering her mouth as she saw the blades swing. "Please, no violence here. The Green Man has proclaimed the trees sacred." Torn and tattered rags covered her body, her brown and green curls tangled, held back simply by a bit of rope.
OOC Notes
Vesatia Shadoweaver Turned her head as a small knife hit a tree next to her. "Surely you think I am scared of that?" Laughing softly Vesatia strode out of the shadows and into the light, resting her cutlass on her shoulder. "And just who do you think you are, attacking me? Try that again and you will come to regret it."
OOC Notes
Vito Milanetti Vito bowed respectively, "That knife was not meant for you, if it was, it would not have hit the tree. I am sorry, perhaps it is I that has to introduce himself. I am Vito Milanetti, perhaps you have heard of me?"

Abandoned Multiverse Characters Restored
Hey guys,
Just letting everyone know that I've gone through and found as many abandoned characters as I could and placed them back into their original creator's list of characters. There were several thousand characters who I could not determine the owner for, and as such I've placed those in the orphanage.
You're free to abandon them again if you wish!
Sincerely,
Your Friendly Multiversal GM

Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
Hello folks!
There's been a lot of talk lately (mostly unpleasant and misunderstanding) about the invasion and occupation of Terra plot that Barney and I have been working on for over a month and which was recently unveiled publicly (apparently?) in the Multiverse. The idea behind most roleplay usually termed "nation roleplay" or "NRP" is not to overtake or dominate a large-scale roleplay, but to enrich and provide sociological, economic, and political background to such a setting. "Nation roleplay," or roleplaying that involves nation states, de facto state entities, or state-like factions, is intended to be a breeding ground for character development, provide a backdrop for character interactions, and create multiple avenues for diverse and engaging plotlines to develop at both micro and macro levels.
In my own writing, I focus predominantly on the development of individual characters and the dynamics of interactions among those characters. I find overarching, meta-plotlines like this invasion plotline to be an excellent impetus for engendering and fostering more vibrant and compelling character interactions and new plot ideas by creating multiple sources of tension. Characters need not have any high rank or formal affiliation with a faction in order to be impacted by larger events (think of what happens to average citizens when any country goes to war), nor will they necessarily be directly affected in any significant way (think about the everyday lives of most Americans during the Iraq war.) But you, the writers and roleplayers, will have a myriad of opportunities to create, develop, and form deeper and more interesting plots to feature your character(s), given a new set of macro-circumstances.
Both Barney and I welcome and encourage anyone who is interested in active involvement in the invasion plot at any level (very active to vaguely active) in any way whatsoever to talk to either or both of us about your ideas, character(s), and plans. A large number of people have already done so, including the following people:
- krumbla -- I can't remember his idea (I'm sorry, krumbla; talk to me when I'm not sick as a dog?)
- Mr. Crow -- News media company to be formed before the invasion and to provide support to the resistance or rebels following the occupation
- curtsive -- Vigilante anti-terrorist organization to conduct terrorist operations against the occupation
- Alasund De'astio -- plays the Democratic Coalition, allies of the current (canonical to Ylanne) Terran government
- Nemo -- typically handles the military side of the Terran government, as well as Randin Kaye from the Wing City Police Department
- DemiKara -- whose character Aerilyn recently joined the Terran Intelligence Bureau
- Konstantein -- plays a daywalking vampire who will act against the occupation
- AzricanRepublic -- plays the UCON, which has a military presence near Terra and supports the TNG
- Marcus -- plays the Council, which has a vested interest in defending Terran sovereignty
- Tearen Wover -- plays VARIAtech corporation, which is offering military assets to the Terrans
And I'm certain I've forgotten someone (in which case, if that's you, I do sincerely apologize. It's one a.m. and I'm still sick.)
Barney and I have sketched out an overview of how we expect the plot to run from beginning to middle to end; however, despite the fact that both of us obviously plan on the plot following that sequence, it can change its course at any point depending on the ideas and in-character actions of any other folks who decide to get involved.
Some of the plots to occur during the invasion and occupation, both planned and still in discussion, already discussed include the following:
- Arianne Drulovic subjected to an order of indefinite detention
- Democratic Coalition rescuing Drulovic from Aschen custody
- Terran resistance kidnapping self-proclaimed God-Emperor Raphael McGregor
- Drulovic psychologically "breaking" McGregor with his estranged wife Cally
- Hataf attack against Aschen Empire holdings
- Guerrilla warfare between Democratic Coalition, UCON, and Terran forces against Aschen forces
- Taiyou attack on Aschen-controlled Terra
- Terran Independent underground dissident publication
- Jelisaveta Drulovic and family taking Natalija Drulovic's children off-world
- Rubano Malijin assuming power as regional Governor of Terra
- Public executions of political dissidents
- Internal rebellion against Aschen government by dissident Aschen leaders
I strongly encourage anyone and everyone to seek me out to talk plot, character, and ideas. Both existing and newly created characters can be involved with any plot, either existing or newly proposed by you. If you feel that this planned plotline (invasion and occupation) will unnecessarily or unfairly interrupt or alter your own plans for character or plot development, and you passionately want to retain your own plans as much as possible, please talk to me. I am very obsessive and have high levels of anxiety about maintaining the integrity and substance of my plans, so I know how you feel, and am more than happy to collaborate with you to work out something that satisfies you and makes logical sense.
If I'm not in the chat at any given time, I can be reached via private message, or by email at trealistorm (at) yahoo.com. Messages to that email address are delivered directly to my smartphone, which I check obsessively all day long, and will be read and replied to as soon as possible. (Usually within twelve hours, and sometimes within as little as ten minutes.) I want to hear your ideas and opinions (but please be polite to me; I do have feelings and am a real person over here), and I want to make sure that you don't feel like I am trampling over you or your character(s) or your plot(s).

[OOC] Taylor's Bar (Multiverse Location)
This is the official OOC thread for Taylor's Bar. I'll post staff, recent events, and other information about Taylor's here.
Taylor's Bar is a location owned by my character, Gabriel Taylor. The Bar/Hotel/Casino is extremely fortified and secured. Each entrance has a metal detector and the place is usually fully staffed with employes. Taylor handles all of his business in house and law enforcement is nearly never called. Various precautions have been set around the bar to account for the magical inhabitants of Terra and keep it's inhabitants safe.
News Announcements
Taylor’s Casino and Hotel Grand Opening!
Gabriel Taylor, multimillionaire and owner of Taylor’s Bar, a successful nightclub and hang out for the rich and wealthy, has moved onto his next venture; A casino and hotel. Patrons of Taylor’s bar may have noticed construction going on around back as well as various signs and posters apologizing for the inconvenience; The large tower coming up behind the bar would be rather noticeable to say the least. Last month we got a word with Gabriel Taylor’s manager and he’s said that he has big plans for this place.
“Terra’s never had a place quite like this; Gabriel’s casino will be the first. The casino is the largest in the world and it’s also the most secure. Not only won’t we be hit, but we can’t be hit. We’ve brought in security experts from around the world to devise the most advanced security system Terra has seen. We invite anyone who believes they have what it takes to try and rob us, but I won’t be responsible for your injuries or the blow to your self-esteem. Try to teleport through our walls? Have fun getting stuck inside of them. We’ve worked with various experts in the field of magic and technology to create a sort of ‘teleportation displacer’ as well as armed our guards with anti-magic grenades. Although obviously not 100 percent effective, it gets the job done.
The hotel is large and extravagant. It has everything you’d ever need, ranging from a five star restaurant to indoor pools, and a top of the line spa. Our 2nd floor hosts a large assortment of stores holding anything you can think of including the finest clothing and the newest technology. “
The casino and hotel’s grand opening is April 9th at 7 pm. The party at Taylor’s bar goes from 7 pm to 2 am, but good luck getting in. The guest list is packed and with the security at Taylor’s it’s going to be difficult sneaking in.

Re: [OOC] The Gaia Stones [IC Fantasy Event]
We have a an Official Group now. Whoohoo. I will edit some more details later on in the day due to my exhaustion.
[OOC] The Gaia Stones [IC Fantasy Event]

The Gaia Stones is a plot that I am currently GMing within The Multiverse on a planet deep within the Milky Way system where technology is not allowed and will not be able to function. The world is ruled completely by magic and magic law. The story consists of people being summoned to the planet Gaia (if they did not spawn on the planet themselves) and were brought to The Ruby Flask. They were given a task to follow a powerful mage named Ry'nn Traeger to collect stones which would unseal powerful weapons that had once been used to forge the kingdom. The purpose behind the quest beyond that remains to yet be seen.

THE WEAPONS
Skuldgrim the Slayer of Undead
Skuld was the first sword forged on the world of Gaia in the Xanaldra Forge. It is a legendary blade that has not been seen for a hundred generations. It once served Gaia when the undead were a threat to all living beings on the Mother’s soil and vanquished The Risen Horde during the age of Those Who No Longer Roam sent by Eras.
The blade of the sword is long and elegant with a pointed edge that is perfect for piercing into armor. Down its length is the engraving of Sagittae—a beautiful woman—in finely etched lines on one side and the other is the engraved representation of Atargatis—a strong and lithe man. The edges are blunt and glow with a strange red flame from enchantment. The blade and hilt are made from a very light weight and mysterious metal.
The pommel of the sword is marked with an engraving which represents the goddess Sagittae; one of the stars of Gaia and the Mother’s protector from the evil god Eras. The sheath is blood red. It is unbreakable and will never shatter.
It is a sword meant to battle the undead which roam mindlessly on Gaia; skeletons, reanimated corpses, and shades. But with all swords of power, there is a weakness. It cannot kill any living soul and may only be used on the undead.
Artrea the Healing Gauntlets
Artrea were gauntlets worn by a legendary man named Lysander Enlight. The gauntlets were hidden beneath the soil of The Exalted Mountains and were used to light the world when Eras had almost consumed his siblings. For seven turnings of Gaia had Artrea served to the be sole beacon on hope for all living things on the world.
The gauntlets are made from a mysterious metal which is completely white in color, almost as if they were made of our pearl. But they are as harder than any metal known to the current world as the knowledge died with Those Who No Longer Roam. They will light the path when light is needed most.
Glittering feathers protrude backwards and out from the wrist. The fingers are sharpened like ten deadly claws that can grip any surface short of diamonds. It is easy to scale a wall with the gauntlets. But that is not what make the weapons deadly. So sharp in fact are they, that they can pierce through most armor and can slice through human flesh like a razor through parchment. But their greatest power is the ability to touch others and heal their mortal wounds through the use of Will.
There is always a weakness that comes with weapons of great power. Those who adorn the gauntlets and use its abilities will soon find their eyesight failing on them over a long period of time. All those that have ever used them—even once—have gone blind with age. And when they are used to heal, the adorner will find themselves very drained as if their own life-force had been passed into the other in order to save their life.
Questions, suggestions, and comments should be directed here, especially when chat is busy or when I am not online or active in the chat.
Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
Actually if you want it as a news report, at least offically so, there is a News Thread for the Multiverse as a whole
Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
Sangrei's only statement was this. "Hey, I was hungover, and I got an iced tea with honey. How was I supposed to know that the bear thing was gonna come over and wreck the bar looking for goddamn honey?"
Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
Gambit's Bar was drained of all its honey by a mysterious yellow bear!

Unfortunately, Wing City police did not know this and were left in confusion to find only a yellow teddy bear with a red shirt at the scene of the crime.
The only customer under record who had ordered a glass of honey that day was a Sangrei Friedn. Responsibility for the bill and possibly the stolen stock of honey have yet to be decided. Police still find Friedn a suspect.

HAHAHAHAHA. The conclusion isn't coming til closer to the summer. Frequency of activity and times when the folks who are involved currently has dropped quite a bit for a variety of reasons, and I don't anticipate the conclusion to Family Pictures for a bit. That said, for those who pay attention to the faction-side of things, the announcement that elections have taken place for the Terran National Government will be posted soonish (i.e. within the next two weeks insh'Allah.)
Those who might be expecting me for roleplay, I will have no internet access this Thursday through Sunday this week except from my phone or if I can access someone else's computer with internet access. You will only be able to reliably reach me via email, which goes to my phone. If you don't have mine, any staff member does, as would anyone who regularly roleplays with me. Thanks!
Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
There's no real procedure to get "started" in the Multiverse. The hub of activity is generally Gambit's Bar, but you can grab a roleplay partner and head anywhere. The sky's the limit!
Re: The Multiverse: The Official OOC (uber)Thread
I'm new here, and I just made my first character. How do I get started in the multiverse? I'd like to stick mostly to Terra to keep as close to my character's home as possible, but if I have to move, I will.
If you want to check out my character, go to roleplay/the-multiverse/characters/lorenzo-caracciolo
By the way, that is not near my real name, so don't worry.

You can create and play anything that you like in the Multiverse. There is no acceptance or review of characters, just create the character and start RPing!

Hello folks! I'm currently maybe two-thirds of the way through the planned Family Pictures sequence, which can be read here, and am posting one last announcement looking for folks who might still want to become part of that. There are opportunities! They abound, in fact! (Yes, I was looking for an excuse to use the word "abound" in an internet forum post. I successfully created one.) Re: The Multiverse: Where Do We Go?
Um. Okay. Bear with me. I read through what posts I saw, and took note on things that were said to the best of my ability. Here's where I stand on the Multiverse, where the Multiverse is to me, and yeah. I guess.
I agree that there needs to be a set baseline. For instance, the name of the bar. The name of the world that the bar is on. The name of cities, nearby things like that. There can be a set system of government, the Wing City Police Department, but their "jurisdiction" only stretches so far. Some of the most interesting roleplay I've seen/participated in has involved characters coming from other worlds and having to either deal with, work around, or confront the system of government set in the Multiverse.
Alternately, some of the worst and most frustrating MV roleplaying I've seen has been .. involving characters coming from other worlds and having to deal with, work around, or confront the system of government set in the Multiverse.
I've always seen the MV as a hallways connecting various rooms. The rooms are your own story, your own ideas, your own canon, your own characters; it's where your friends gather and you control things. When you're out in that hall, however, all bets are off. That isn't to say you can pull things out of your ass, but you accept and understand a certain amount of handicap.
For instance, my character Liesha Kennicot is a Special Agent in the United States government, from her Earth. She's aware that there are other Earths, and that she doesn't had any control when in the MV. That's fine. However, when someone else walks up to her and starts trying to give her orders claiming that their faction has taken over mine without a single bit of IC content, that's when things start to go awry.
Reading back over the original post, it seems that the Multiverse has as much substance as you give it. It's a sandbox location where you can freely interact with new characters that you might not get a chance to. For a while, I used the MV as a way to try and test out ideas with people before making a roleplay out of it. You get your circles of friends (as Patch mentioned, his crew of eight) and you go at it. Sometimes you meet in the middle, and sometimes you don't.
And at the risk of ranting, that is all I have to say about that.
