"I dont think we are... Should we?" She simply said to the woman. The question wasnt really said in a special manner or anything. It was actually a honest question.
She hand't thought about that. What were the benefits, the nonbenefits, of time? What should they do? Should they adjust their clocks? Manira had no idea. Were there more important things to think about?
"Have you seen the gardens?" Didn't plants keep time?
The question that followed slightly interested her though. "I have a few times... And I'm not sure. There are plants that kind of do that, but I dont know if they would keep time." She then answered to the woman. She honestly didnt know alot about plants, it wasnt really an interest to her.
"Are you the doctor on board? Hudon mentioned there would be one," She was certainly smiling now, completely discarding the idea of plants for much livelier gossip.
The words that followed couldnt help but make her smile slightly. "I'm not sure about that. I am a Doctor, but I'm not sure if I'm The Doctor.... I'm more focused on mental and social parts of humans. I do know quite alot about Physiology though." She then said to the woman.
"Genuinely jet, glad to hear another professional is on board," A business woman of some sort, of course. "Did you want to see the gardens? Shaselia said the forn are budding."
"Another Professional?" She then repeated, genuinly interested by the woman. She nodded at the request of the woman. "I would love to."
"I've never tended live plants before," She tried to pick up the conversation, "I wonder if they are anything like people?" The closest Maniria had ever come to a living plant in it's natural habitat was the bits of mud that sometimes were present in the pods carrying Forn. They grew under the living dirt, "soil", or so they learned in school. Maniria wouldn't know: She had never actually seen any living dirt.
"This is such bullshit," Vorvo slammed himself into his bunk, while Phetalia snickered from the one above. She wasn't nearly as effected by the planetary explosion. Norvnu was gone, and all she cared about was the apparent destruction of wi-fi.
It was true. Vorvo could have been actually on Norvnu. Like all of her friends. His were there too, but still. The two of them were alive, and there were others on board in their gen. Potentially jet, still. Even if I left my arms behind.
"Don't be like my mamman, all shut away and pressured," and over-dramatic. It was true. The woman wouldn't leave her room, or talk to anyone. The game made some noises, indicating a sneak head-shot. Phetalia grinned.
We're safe.
It's a miracle that I am even able to type this, even if it is never read by any other eyes. Yet here we drift in the depths of space, of the Aurora. Stars pass us by in the great distance, the temperature is much colder than it was on Norvnu. Was, the key term. Many of the passengers are taking it rough.
Nobody knows it, but I don't know where the hell we're going. Before people figure it out, I've got plans. There's going to have to be order on this ship. Hujibi can only keep the peace for so long, and I don't look forward to the panic that's sure to set in as soon as people figure out what's going on.
So, I've got an idea. You see, I've been reading a lot of books from that library. Thankfully we were able to salvage most of it, the library. It's stored over in the Civil Capsule, and takes up three whole entire floors. An accomplishment for the people of Norvnu, something we have to take pride in. I wish we were able to save more. Either way, I will read every book in that library. I have already begun, yes, and I have been learning.
Tomorrow I will call the meeting, and we will discuss our future in detail._The_Inventor

The plants are doing well. A few of the women on board have taken keen interest in growing. I am glad. The Hujibi shows no threat of wilting, "jet" as the young will speak. The forn are growing exceptionally strong. I doubt the plants will ever be of trouble, so long there are hands to tend them and aqua to regenerate them. Plants are proving far easier to care for than humans.
Oh how I feel for the Bagain family. The mawwan, she is at such a loss I am sure. Holed up in their rooms, she is. A shame she doesn't toke. Derud does, though! For a few moments on Norvnu I was worried I would be the lone smoker. I was worried I would have to quit my habit, for what a selfish thing to do, take gardenspace for a personal stash of jab? Speaking of which, I'm off for a sleep cycle._Shaselia

"Hey guys I'm going to grab some of the others," Wolov called to Phetalia and Opum, who had barely noticed he stopped a way back. He wondered what Reven was getting into. Wolov didn't remember seeing him at the bridge, but he hadn't been paying any attention either. Worst case scenario, he'd just go back to his cabin. He preferred it there anyhow.
"I can't wait to see the ears up close!" Phetalia's voice echoed down the hall. Wolov rolled his eyes and disappeared into the Residency Capsule.
Opum whooped with glee. The giant door to the loading bay was in sight. It didn't have a very large window, but it was enough for the two to cram their faces in. They stared into the black expanse of space and waited for the arrival of their visitors. Phetalia wondered what they were going to have for dinner. Likely something good, as this was cause for celebration!
On the the Bridge of the craft named the Silent Sister Nyaidia spoke to the holograms of 7 Lakkadians.
The one in the middle spoke. "The conclave approves your request and you are to find out everything you can about this ship and the people on board. Also we know they seem friendly.... but keep your guard up. Good Luck Commander."
With that the holograms vanished and Nyaidia was left alone. Activating her comm she gave her orders. "The five Selected engineers and my Personal Blackguards will meet me in the airlock... Keep your weapons peace tied... but don't tie them too tight... they seem peaceful... but after those pirates... well I have never trusted anyone anyway... You have your orders... XO you have the conn."
Several long moments later the Silent Sister pulled up alongside the Auroragon's airlock. Once the ships where connected Nyaidia followed by the five engineers and flanked by two Blackguards on ether side. The Blackguards where female and wore a skintight black armor covered by a hooded cloak as black as night. Each one had a pistol and short sword tied on her belt. Nyaidia wore her black uniform with a pistol an her thin deadly sliverblade tied on her belt. The engineers where three male and two female they wore simple red jumpsuits and each carried a backpack full of tools. They where unarmed.
"Permission to come aboard?" Nyaidia asked as the airlock doors opened.
"What's that?" Phetalia questioned the last of the engineers as they filed through, referring to their backpacks. Part of her wondered if they had any new games- but she knew better than to ask.
"This is so jet!" She gushed under her breath to Opum who eagerly nodded. The two followed the party of aliens as they made their way towards the bridge, jumping ahead to press the right buttons to open the right doors. They finally arrived at the bridge. Opum and Phetalia both had smiles plastered ear to ear as they scrambled to be the one to hit the button, to open the door of the bridge of the Auroragon, for the first time, to anyone other than the survivors of Norvnu.
