Introduction
In this little city everything is the same, every house is the exact design, every car looks alike, and every building is painted the same color. Everyone has a schedule made by the city that must be followed daily. Strict rules are made by this city that comes with a horrid consequence if broken. The leaders of the city band all things that could make one different from another hoping it would lead to more peaceful city. No one is necessarily happy in this city but once you enter there is no going back. The people of this city are led to believe that the rules are made for their safety no one dares to question them. It was another day in this dull city until a sudden disaster strikes. Those who survived have no memory of what caused the horrid destruction which led to panic and the end of the city's leaders. As people tried desperately to remember what happened new memories about unknown abilities are beginning to rise. What is your hidden ability?

OOC Notes
As Elise was walking down the destroyed streets of her well known city she blacked out and fell to the ground.
Dream:
Elise woke up and found her self flying, she looked at herself and saw she was a hawk! She started to think whats going on? She closed her eyes then when she opened them she was slithering across a desert floor. As she looked at her body again she saw a snake. What am I? Whats happening? Why am I a cobra? She closed her eyes for the second time and when she opened she saw a horrid picture. She was eating a Zebra and she couldnt stop. When she saw her..... Paws she noticed the striped pattern and realized she was a tiger. She was terrified she thought closing her eyes would help her wake up but she just found herself in another dream. This time she was swimming fast trying to catch a fish. What am i this time?! She was of course a dolphin. She closed her eyes without even trying and she saw herself eating cheese. Of course I'm a mouse! She wanted to wake up so badly so she closed her eyes once more hoping to be awake.
As Elise woke up everything was black. When everything came back to focus she felt piercing pain in her right leg. She saw blood coming from her leg. She couldn't move. She thought~ I must of broken my leg when I blacked out. All she coud do was sit there and hope for someone to come save her before she losses to much blood. It was already to late she fainted and didn't awake.
((BTW she doesn't know about her powers yet, thats why she had the dream.))

OOC Notes
A couple days after the destruction of the city and there she stands still alive. Layla walked cautiously up and down the streets, knife at hand. The sun was blazing hot, she tilted her hat hoping it would help keep the sun off her face. Weaving in and out of destroyed buildings hoping to find supplies that would help her. Suddenly a drip of blood dropped to her cheek removing her hat she dabbed her head with her shirt and noticed the blood "What the hell?" she tries to remember why here head is bleeding but her memories where blank. Layla walked into a building and made sure no one was around. Removing her hat she healed the gash on her forehead. "Much better," she said with a smirk. Placing her hat back on her head she continued walking until suddenly she trips over something...or someone. Looking down there was a girl on the floor obviously having a weird dream. She couldn't help but stare at the beautiful girl on the floor. Out of no where she woke up but paid no attention to Layla's presence. Layla noticed that the girl was hurt badly on her right leg. Should I say something? Layla froze as started to think about what to say. Suddenly she fainted "Shit!" Layla yelled. Kneeling down beside the girl she placed her hands on the girl and prayed that her abilities were strong enough.
OOC Notes
Elise couldn't wake up. After seeing her leg that bad she thought she wasn't going to make it. Then her eyes opened but everything was to blury to see. She saw an outline of a girl and spoke softly,"Are you an angel?" When everything started to come to focus again she saw a pretty girl by her side looking worriedly at her leg. Then Elise realized she was still alive. Her face flushed with red and her eyes turned blue. She felt so stupid, she asked the girl if she was an angel. She laughed and embarrased laugh and said," Heh i'm not the smartest person ever. I feel so stupid." She then notice the pain in her leg dissapeared. She looked back up at the mysterious girl,"Did you do this?"
OOC Notes
"Welcome back sleeping beauty," She smiled at the dazed girl. "Don't worry I get asked that same question a lot." she chuckled at herself. Layla noticed how embarrassed the girl was getting. Suddenly the girls eyes changed to a breath taking blue. "Did you do this?" she asked, Layla looked into her eyes, "You bet, I'm Layla, if you haven't already figured out I am a healer." She gave her a have smile. Wiping the blood from her hands onto her pants she stood up and adjusted her hat. "If you don't mind me asking but what's your name?" Layla stood with her hand out just in-case the girl wanted to get up.
OOC Notes
Elise grabbed Layla's hand and jumped up to hug her. She started laughing joyfully,"Oh Thank you Oh thank you I thought I was going to die!" Elise realized she was probably freaking Layla out by hugging her. She let go and smiled, her face turning red again,"Oh I'm sorry I got a little to excited.... heh, i'm Elise by the way! Glad to meet you Layla! By the way how did you heal me?" She realized she had a bad headache and she started to feel dizzy. She looked at Layla and saw a confuzed look on her face."Whats wron......" I stop and start to notice that I have a tail and ears. Cat ears. WHATS GOING ON? I saw the tiger stripe pattern. Its like my dream oh my god.
OOC Notes
Layla couldn't help but smile when Elise hugged her. "Nice to meet you too." She could see how excited she was. "Be careful its hot out don't get to excited." Suddenly Elise grew a tail and ears... next thing she knew a tiger sat in-front of her. "Ah we have a shapeshifter here." She said in a monotone voice. Raising her eyebrow she cleared her throat "I am assuming you are not aware of your abilities." she said in a questionable tone. Scoffing she patted Elise's head "You'll learn soon just stick with me."
OOC Notes
All Elise heard was shapeshifter and that scared the shit out of her. She looked panicked as she finally realized she tured into a tiger fully. She couldn't believe this was happening. Wait this all makes sense now. First i had that wierd dream I was all of those animals after the disaster. Now I'm one of them. Layla said she was a healer too but healers never existed until the disaster... It all adds up. The disaster caused all this. It destroyed our city and all its rules. I know i'm missing something. Maybe I should just follow Layla like she said. This will be a long long journey." Wait Layla do you know how long I will be a tiger for?"

Layla watched as Elise pieced it together in her head. "wait Layla do you know how long I will be a tiger for?" she asked. Layla chuckled again "Well it is all about control sweet heart." Layla began to hum something to herself. "In fact if you want to change back all you have to do is concentrate on what you want or who you want to become." Layla liked the feeling of being able feel smart. "I may not be a shapeshifter but I do know quite a bit on things like this," she bragged. Looking at Elise Layla spaced out slightly "She sure is cute glade I stumbled across her," she mumbled to herself. Snapping out of her zoning out she realized she said that out loud Crap hope she didn't hear me.
OOC Notes
Elise heard Layla mumble something but couldn't make it out enough to understand. Elise was totally dazed by how cute Layla was. Wow im actually glad i got her instead of some other healer. Elise tried to focus on being a human again like Layla said. It worked she poofed into a human again but saw that she was naked. She yelped and covered her self. She turned completly red."Umm where are my clothes?" she asked Layla confusingly. They totally dissapeared they were long gone. Elise looked around for some clothes until she couldnt find anything. She started to back up,"I will be right back! Stay there." Elise turned around the corner of the building and ran off in search for clothes.

When Elise turned back to a human she couldn't help but feel proud. Suddenly she remembered the problem of being a shapeshifter but it was to late she was already human. Before she could explain why she was naked she ran off "Damn it I have extra clothes!" she sighed. Following Elise's orders she stayed where she was and started to space out again. I wonder what she thinks of me...Well I did save her life and all.... But doesn't mean she likes me.. not like...I wonder if she would ever consider... Nah a girl like her liking me? Fat chance. Still no sign of Elise. With a sigh Layla started to sing to herself again trying to pass the time.
OOC Notes
Elise came back with her face red still and she was still naked covering her self, "No luck. Man I feel so stupid! You probably think im so wierd huh? GAH! I feel like an idiot!" Now there would be no chance of a new friendship or something more......... she probably thinks i'm stupid and she probably hates me. Why couldn't I have a better social life!??? Elise muttered under her sigh," There would never be a chance of us." She quickly realized she said that out loud and covered her mouth to make herself shut up which made her realize she had no body shield anymore so she quickly covered herself again."You saw nothing!" Elise said blushing.

Layla couldn't help but to blush a little. Holding out her extra spare of clothes she cleared her throat "Don't worry I am not freaked out well still have a chance." she winked at Elise. Layla held out her hand and stuck up her pinky "I pinky promise I didn't see anything." She raised an eyebrow at her "I don't expect you to quick change so take the clothes and I'll go over here till your ready." She said in a as calm tone as possible. Damnit why is my heart racing so fast? Walking slowly away from Elise she turned her back to her and began to hum the same tune as earlier. "Just tell me when your done so I don't just stand here like an idiot 'kay?" she said.
OOC Notes
Elise blushed and went over to change. The clothes were a bit snug for her taste but they would work and they were pretty comfy. She couldn't help being embarassed about saying what she did. She felt like a freak. She started to think what a beautiful hum Layla was singing. When she was done changing she snuck up on Layla and hugged her,"Thanks for the clothes I appreciate it! Also what is that hum your singing I enjoy it very much especially when you sing it." Elise smiled maybe this won't be such a bad trip after all! I like Layla.

As soon as she turned around Elise hugged her. Layla couldn't help but smile and hugged her back. "Your welcome and you want to know what song I am humming?" Layla began wonder what song is she humming? Elise's complaint made Layla's heart pound so fast. "Hm it's an old song my friend use to sing to me it's called Blackbird." A single tears rolled down Layla's cheek. Wiping away the tears she desperately needed to change the subject. "Sooo looks like the clothes fit," Layla frowned slightly. "It's getting hotter we better get moving." This is going to be an interesting journey. Once again she softly began to hum her song.

Elise noticed the tear and decided to leave the subject alone because it wasn't a happy one she could tell. Hmm Blackbird I think I know that song....Layla's right though it is getting hot. I wonder where we are going. "Hey Layla where exactly are we going? I mean is there someone we have to meet or what?" Elise said in a cofused tone. Her heart beated fast in excitement thinking it might be somewhere really awesome. Hopefully it will be better then here. The heat may make me pass out. What is with this heat its un normal. Well I guess nothing is really normal any more.
OOC Notes
"Where we are going you ask.." She paused, "We are going to the ice rink that's where all the good supplies are." she explain. Layla grabbed Elise's hand and walked her through the cluttered streets. The walk seem never ending and the heat was unbearable. Stopping in the shade Layla let go of Elise's hand "Sorry about that,." she said softly. Grabbing water out her backpack she slowly drank out of the bottle and handed it to Elise "You need to keep hydrated," she said wiping the water from her face. "It's only going to get hotter. It's only about mid-day." She sigh as she squinted at the clear sky. "Man it's hot." Layla complain while taking of her jacket in shoved it in her backpack. She sighed in relief as the air felt nice on her shoulders.
OOC Notes
The heat was unbearable to Elise. The clothes were getting to tight and the water dryed up in her mouth before she could swallow.Then she thought of the smart thing to do. "Layla we have been totally oblivious to the simple! Here hold your clothes i dont want them to dissapear." Elise said as she stripped down and handed the clothes to Layla. Elise then turned into a tiger. "You can just ride on my back we can get there faster and this way we will get some wind to keep us cooler." Elise felt smarter then she has ever been."Just tell me where to go Layla."

I hate the heat thought Korik as he walked threw the street.
*Get used to it. It only gets hotter from here* replied Jester.
"I don't want to get used to it. Its hot as hell out here. I don't know how I never noticed it before.", said Korik. Damn! did i say that out loud?
*Yeah, you did. If you would prefer to chill out up here, you could always let me take control. I haven't seen the light of day in a bit.* said Jester.
The last time you took control, I end up passed out in the middle of no where, with a killer hangover and half smoked joint in my hand. Where do you find the weed anyways?
*Wouldn't you like to know?* asked jester, sarcastically.
You know what? You take control. You can deal with the heat. Just try to stay out of trouble.
Suddenly, Korik fell to his knees, holding onto his head as if he was in pain. His hair suddenly stood up, as if it was jelled. Then, a while color rose from the roots of his hair up to the tips. His Eyes turned blood red, and his stance changed from that of a normal kid to some type of predator.
Jester In Control
Korik first lost his sight. Then his body became numb. His smell and taste were gone. His hearing remained the same, and he could sense his other self taking control of the body.

Layla felt stupid not thinking that earlier. "Um just go straight to the end of Elbany Avenue till you reach the only building that doesn't look like all the rest." Layla's face grew emotionless once again. Slowly and gently Layla got Elise's back and tried evening out her weight. "Don't over work yourself, okay?" She said in a stern voice, "I don't want to have to heal you again," Layla remarked trying not to sound to bitchy. In the distance Layla could hear talking, well more like yelling. More survivors? That's a rare find, plus it sounds like two voices. Layla's mind soon began to flood with different questions. "Hey Elise, have you seen anyone else...Like any other survivors?" She asked softly.

Elises cat ears turned and she heard two voices. Then Layla asked her about more survivors. "I havn't seen any other survivors othre then you so I don't know who those people are." said Elise in a confused tone. Hmmm thats wierd one of those voice sounds familiar. Maybe its someone I know. I wonder if they have abilities too."Hey Layla you want to go say hi or just continue?" Elise questioned. Wait what if they are bad guys maybe we should just ignore them. Either way I want an answer its getting to hot right here. Elise's head was spinning.

Zera wakes up cuffed in the back of a police truck the doors are gaped open and he's confused what just happened he gets up and twists his arms so the cuffs and his hands are in front of him. He popes his shoulders back into place. He walks out, "Hello?" he says loudly, he hears no response. He walks about a bit he finally hears voices. He walks towards them he sees two young women. "You guys wouldn't have seen the keys to these cuffs would you?" he asks as he walks over to them

A young man suddenly walked up to Layla and Elise "Um Elise.. I think we should figure this guy out first." She whispered to Elise. Glaring at the new comer she smirked "A key? Ha I can get you out of those in no time," She chuckled and carefully got off Elise. Reaching under her hat she pulled out a bobby pin and bent it straight. Pulling his hands closer to her Layla played around with the bobby pin until she heard a click. "And that my good sir is how you break out of hand cuffs." She snickered. Placing the bobby pin into her pocket she looked over the man, "What bring you to Eblany Avenue?" Layla removed her hat and wiped the sweat off her forehead as the sun began to be a big problem.
OOC Notes
"Thanks. I'll try that next time. But all I know is that I woke up in the back of a police Truck" Zera replied, "Oh and by the way I'm Zera" He gets down on a knee and puts his head down, he lifts his head "now may I ask, what brings you here?" he asks as he rises and rubs his wrists and checks his shoulders, "wow that hurt. Stupid police officers cuffing my hands behind my back, dislocated my shoulders just to get the cuffs to the front. Trust me it hurts." He then checks if his book is in his pouch he pulls it out and the weird symbols on the front glow a little bit, he then puts it away. And awaits a response.

"Oh getting yourself in trouble with the leaders eh?" Layla laughed. "Luckily they're dead now," Layla tried to force a smile. Fanning herself with her hand she continued, "Well I ran into my friend here, Elise, while I was on my was to the ice rink." She paused to make sure he was paying attention still, "Care to join Zera?" Her voice was quiet and slightly horse. Layla carefully investigated they way Zera winced in pain as he moved his shoulders around. "Here let me help you fighting will only make your shoulders worse," She sighed as she placed her hands on his right shoulder and popped it back to place without causing as much pain and did the same for his left shoulder. "Don't freak out I am a healer," Layla said without even looking at Zera's reaction.
OOC Notes
Zera, now confused Just relaxes and feels as his pain goes away as he feels his pain go away he responds, "Sure I might as well" After being healed he then feels this warm feeling where his book is. Puzzled he grabs it and there's some weird text. He reads it, "Fragor..." he looks around and nothing happens, "Well thats weird... Nothing happened" He says as he puts his hand on the wall and repeats. BOOM! the wall explodes Zera is sent over about 20 feet and is knocked on his rear, he looks at the small crater that he just caused "Uhm... last time I checked When I read that word, Stuff doesn't blow up..." He says in shock, "but did I really Cause that?" he gets up and wipes the dust off himself and realizes he's uninjured. He looks around at his newly founded companions with a fearful look on his face.
