Introduction

Welcome to Jump City, a place of former glory, now fallen to crime. It was once legendary city where the Teen Titans used to base, their tower now long gone. Crime's higher than it's ever been, and someone needs to stop it all from going any more down hill than it already is. Either somebody, or multiple somebodies. Citizens are aware of the city's heroic past, mutants, supers, people of that nature, citizens know they were there, they just don't know that they're still there. Mutants wait in hiding, or try to be normal, for their moment to come back. It's time. The heroes have to come out of hiding, but along with them there are of course the villains who decide to appear.
Will you be good? will you be evil? No matter what you're making history, deciding the fate of yourself, those you know, your city, the world.

Rules
Guidelines
1. General rules for this one, romance is fine as long as it stays PG-13, and in the story itself I don't care about cussing, it's fine, it adds to the character, and no Mary or Gary Stus
2. I want more traditional comic book powers, so any off this list are fine, and any others I want to approve it first.
3. in the actual RP please no one liners, but also nothing essay length. let's keep it all in good moderation.
4. please don't join and never post. I want this RP to stay alive, and don't do something like a "weekend RP", keep posting all week.
5. We'll need to establish some things in the OOC first, like if the team has met yet or not, where their hideout is, if they know who's bad et cetera
6. the character list above shows spots that are already taken, but no open roles. this means I'll allow as many as five people on the hero's side, then I'd want some people to be evil
7. this, being the last guideline would usally say something like "have fun!" instead I want to say that I want good histories in profiles, plus interesting profiles.

"Roger, We are about to enter the city." Piper looked up to the woman as she spoke even though she knew the woman hadn't been talking to her. In fact not one of them had spoken a word to her since they had gotten onto the train. Piper replayed her whole life since she had been taken from home only 3 years ago. No one told her this but she knew by how she had lived her life the past 3 years. Everyday having to hold a item of someone else that was dead. This either allowed her to talk to the spirit or feel the emotion they had with this item. Finally after that long period of time Piper was going to the city. A city full of villans. Piper had seen others at the instute where she hond her abilities. When she was put in a car going away from the instutie she knew she had been sold to some evil person who would use her powers.
The train slowed, The woman, Piper and 2 armed guards walked beside her making sure she could not run. The woman held her hand like a mother would so she wouldn't lose her child. But Piper had one trick up her sleeve. She closed her eyes as she breathed deeply. Her spirit lingering over her. Her spirit whispered into the woman's ear "You will let go of the girl's hand and walk away." Then the spirit flowed over to the guards "You shall turn away from each other and walk away." Piper felt the release of her hand and saw the 2 men walk away. She would only have a minute or 2 before the 3 would realise what had happened. Piper headed straight for the exit. She turn around for a moment and saw the 3 run toward her. She it was now or never to be able to blend in. She grabbed a red hood from her bag. In moments she was surround by those with the same hood. As she left the station she separated from the crowd. There was only one thing she knew about this city. That the Teen Titans once fought for this city and that the tee tower was her only hope.

It was a simple normal day. Thats all it seemed to be. People going in and out of the bank. No security alarms. The bank had recently gone through a heavy security increase. A women, about 13, came in with a crowd, and went into the bathroom. She went to the bathroom, and then heard everyone else leave. She finished up, and looked for something. She then found it, an electrical outlet.
Moments later, she walked out again, with a backpack that seemed rather, but not fully, full. She then walked toward a bench, sitting down, and then she heard it. Commotion among the guards. Apparently, without anyone entering, someone just somehow took 10 grand from the vault. Granted, they had more then enough left, but the main thing was how the thief got in and out without being seen even. The vault didn't even open once.
Keira smiled, having so much fun from this. She stood up, and began to walk away. As she walked away, she accidentally walked into a girl with a red hood. "Oh im sorry, i didn't see you there...." she noted, making sure also her bag didn't open. It didn't.

Piper looked up at the young girl, granted she was older then piper but She looked so young. "Oh no it was completely my fault I just got into town and don't know how everyone walks so it's totally my fault." Piper looked around with angsitiy. "Uum do you know where I can get a good view of the water? It's for a project."

"Well, im a little new myself, but i think the pier is this way. Might be good to get a little fresh air anyways right?" she told her, notably, a bank alarm was finally set off and cop cars were coming. Keira didn't have to worry though, no one had seen her. She began to lead the way to the pier, crossing a few streets. "Wait, where is your family then?" she asked, slightly curios as to what a young girl like her was doing in the city alone. Especially if she is doing a project in a city she is new in....
She began to smell the sea air. "We must be getting close to the pier...." she noted, noticing a variety of different things. Birds flying, wind blowing, and much more. Including the shady people following them. Granted, they are both young girls alone, so it could possibly be just some random kidnappers or muggers, but if they even tried, they would be in for a big surprise....

Piper followed the young girl, she was out of it until she heard "Where's your family?". Piper had been dreading when someone would ask her that. She need a lie and she needed it quick. "Well it's my class that came to the city and this boy has been oppsest with me since i got into school. So when i went to get my friend as a partner he grabbed my arm and said we we're a team. The teacher approved it but he wouldn't do any work so i ditch him first chance I got." She was sure if the girl would believe her lie but she had no other hope.

Klaude lay on the dirty concrete pier listening to the sound of water sloshing along below him. He didn't feel particularly calm, despite the cliche of being near open water having a calming effect on troubled people.
Over a year it had been... Over a year since the night he had snuck out of the orphanage, and escaped into jump city. Over a year of a constant struggle for survival. Over a year of constant hunger. He had run away in search of a place he belonged, but had not found what he longed for yet...
'What exactly have I found...' He thought to himself, as he stared up into the overcast sky.
Klaude took notice of a stirring behind him in the shadows of the pier-side warehouses. Criminals moved towards an object of interest, but that object held none of Klaude's interest.
'Probably some poor bastard who's 'bout to get mugged...' Klaude vaguely felt a feeling similar to pity, but not enough to go to their aid. If he ran to help everyone who got in trouble with the city's thugs he'd never get any rest.

"Well, let's see..." Gizmo mumbled to himself as he tinkered with a small object. It was an orb, red and translucent, made of something that appeared, to the average mind, a sort of plastic, but it was actually a much stronger fiber. Virtually unbreakable; except for being self-destructed. Which, in fact, was the whole point of it. "Just put this here...and that does..."
Click!
Beep, beep, beep...
"Yes! Finally!" Gizmo held up his newly developed creation proudly in the dim light of the empty laboratory. This building was closed at these hours, the workers not in at these hours. This building was Jump City's lakeside research facility, also home to some of the best labs in the area, next to a couple others spread across the city. But this one had been the closest, and also the easier to sneak into, which made it all the better for the albino genius to do so. The labs were off-limits to anyone who didn't work there, but he had the urging to complete his new project: a short-zoned bomb. The bomb was highly sensitive and would explode when coming in contact with, well, the ground. So he was careful not to drop it. It would only affect minor damage to anything within a radius of a couple blocks. Unfortunately, he didn't have all the equipment he'd needed to complete it, so he just snuck in to 'borrow' a few things to finish his now completed project.
"Yeah, I'll talk to you later, honey. I just left something at the office." Gizmo's head shot up, his eyes widening as a man walked in, confused by why the lights were on. "Hey, who are you? You shouldn't be here. I'm calling security!" The man grabbed Gizmo's wrist, the one holding the zone-bomb.
"Ahh! Wa--" Gizmo's yelp of protest stopped mid-sentence as the bomb, seemingly in slow motion, dropped to the ground and started beeping uncontrollable. He phased in and out of being invisible, mentally freaking out. He grabbed the man's arm and dragged him with him out of the building.
"What was that? What did you--"
"Go! Just, go go go!" Gizmo shouted, trying to shove the man. "We have to hurry before--" The bomb went off, shooting out the windows of the second-story lab. He cursed, watching as his creation knocked the three-story building to the ground, slowly, but at the same time at a quick enough pace to cause damage or harm to anyone nearby the piers. "Crud crud crud. What do I do?" He looked around for something--anything--but was at a loss. So he started flailing his arms around at the people around the pier--the closest being some girls, a few sketchy characters, and some guy. "Okay, people, you need to move! Now!"

Klaude was on his feet the instant he heard the explosion. Muggings were one thing, but no one can ignore a bombing near them.
"Okay, people, you need to move! Now!" Someone shouted. An albino teen was running from the building, dragging some sort of lab worker with him. Klaude was too stunned to move, though there wasn't really anywhere for him to run except into the water.
"Holy..." Klaude muttered to himself, watching in awe as the building began to colapse.

"Ahhh, so you live close by the city then..." she noted, as they finally made it to the pier, then adding "My name is Keira". She momentairly stopped talking, since her family was all dead. She then heard some ruckus behind her. She turned around only to see a guard, an albino person, and another kid. She saw as a lot of the building started to collapse, however, mostly toward them. She panicked. She could make some sort of energy shield, but that would draw attention to her. And she didn't need those search teams getting a bigger hint of where she was. However, the only other option was death, and that wasn't really a better option.
"Stay close to me!" she told them, grabbing Piper and Klaude with each of her hands, who were closest to her, and leaving about 10 seconds (as with rubble falling down she couldn't leave that much time, and she only had 2 hands to grab people) for the guard and the albino to get close before she made a shield around them. One of her hands reached into her pocket, and grabbed 2 Duracell double A batteries (As she found Duracell held the most energy) to help her not lose too much energy, as the building collapsed on them all. The rubble all went to the side however, so she was able to release it once the rubble stopped falling.
"Please, don't mention this. Ever." she gasped, a little tired. She got another battery, transferring the energy to herself to regain her energy.

Gizmo was on the verge of practically pulling his own hair out. He turned himself invisible. What had he done?! He'd completely eradicated an entire research facility! Sure, the research was for lame, boring things like testing the water and stuff, but it was still important and still cost a lot of money. Not to mention the damage he caused to the piers and oh! all these people who could of been killed. It was all his fault. He groaned in frustration. Next time he would just have to build a different starting mechanism so the bomb wouldn't explode merely at being dropped. Maybe a sort of time bomb or...
He looked up from his thoughts, just now realizing WHY he hadn't been completely crushed by the building he'd caused to collapsed. The girl standing there holding a battery had blocked them. But, how? Gizmo stood and looked her up and down. He noted the battery in her hand and then it clicked. "You...have super powers, don't you?" he asked aloud, taking a step closer to her with interest. He knew about all the others in the world with powers, but he never actually met anyone other than himself with them.

Liam looked out towards the piers from his spot on a warehouse roof. It was really an excellent place to sit and think for a while, trying to figure out what his next move would be. He had a heist planned latter that day, but someone else had already broken into a bank a few blocks down. A shame, really. The police would be crawling all over the place. Abracadabra hadn't been out in a few weeks, people would start tio think he was loosing his touch! He needed to do something, something big. He was growing bored of robbing banks all the time. He needed something new. A real challenge, but there was just nothing to do in Jump city. It was a pity, perhaps he should be moving on soon to a bigger and better place, but where else could you go on ungoverned crime sprees? Liam let out an annoyed sigh and ran his hand through his hair.
He stared out at the piers, hoping for some magical form of inspiration. None came. However, there was a loud explosion and a collapsing building. Liam stood there, shocked, as the researched facility fell apart. "Now, that is something you don't see every day," he remarked as he considered his next course of action. Liam could go over there and see what the fuss was about, to see what exactly had caused the buliding to become destroyed. Then again, the police would be crawling around everywhere and would be asking questions. True, he looked like every other member of society right now, but he was still wary of the police. They tended to meddle in things that weren't their buisness. But if he didn't go, he would never get to know what really did the damage to that building. He was fairly certain that there was nothing valuable enough to steal there, aside from all the equipment, but that would only be a petty thief's job. No need for explosions. "Hmmm, what to-do," he mumbled to himself. He cast one last look at the no longer existing building as he climbed down the warehouse stairs, towards the pier.

Klaude was taken aback when the girl pulled him in close to her. He wasn't used to physical contact from anyone, let alone someone of the opposite gender. After the rubble had settled, he slid back a few feet, putting some distance between him and her. His flushed face hidden by his long mess of hair.
"Please don't menion this. Ever." The girl gasped. Klaude nodded quickly, still a little dumbstruck.
"You... Have super powers, don't you." This time it was the albino. The question hit Klaude like a large sack of heavy fist-sized objects.
"Wha... How... W-who..." Klaude stopped his stammering, realising the question hadn't even been directed at him, but rather at their female savior. He tried to regain his composure, face an even deeper shade of red, but now slightly interested in who the girl was.

Keira was still collecting herself when that albino kid asked the question with the obvious answer, considering there could be no other possible answer. She panicked slightly. What should she do? She was suppost to be in hiding....except when she gets bored, and decided to have fun by pulling a little heist. Notably, she has never actually hurt anyone during a heist though. "Ok yes, but please don't tell anyone. I'm kind of....hiding...." she noted, also a little attentive to her surroundings. Last thing she needed was attention like this. She looked around, and pulled them all into a nearby building....that isn't rubble....and found a place to sit down.
"Now mind telling me what happened?" she asked, trying to change topics.

Following a small, haunting giggle in darkness of the dim alleyway between a coffee shop and an apartment complex blew a small gust of wind that was only strong enough to push a small plastic bag through the air. The bag dodged the people, floating through legs and over heads until it landed on a rather big, sleeping, fluffy cat---which woke up upon the landing of the bag. The cat was immediately surprised and ran out in the middle of the street, not paying attention to the monstrous cars around it. Like clockwork, cars swerved in order to not hit the cat, though in the process, car after car crashed into one another. A smiling boy came from the shadows of the alleyway, one eye pink, one eye white. His pupils appeared as slits in his iris, his light brown skin was flawless, though his rugged clothes made him appear homeless. He walked out on the sidewalk, sucking on a cherry lollipop playfully.
"I wish I didn't have to go to work today." He heard a younger woman saying in a rush beside him. Once he passed her, without turning around, and with the snap of the fingers her phone rang."Hello,"She answered in a lighter tone of voice, her eyes begun to tear up, and she brought her hand up to her mouth,"But why?! I've been working here for 3 years, why now?"
"Mischief, mischief mischief," The boy said softly in a sly southern accent,"So many people, so little chaos. Well that's gonna have to change huh?" He asked himself, he looked over, there was a large group of people surrounding the accidents 'Someone call the paramedics', he heard an older man say. Kjin squinted his eyes,"Now how about we speed up the death of these civilians, shall we?" He snapped his finger, and his eyes turned a bright pink. A fire started beneath one of the cars."Help! The door is jammed!" He heard the person from the car say, momentarily the car would explode, with the person and their child inside. Kjin approached the car tilting his head, sticking the lollipop back in his mouth, and waved at the little girl as she cried in the car, with a wide smile on his face.

Gizmo flushed in embarrassment, not exactly enjoying having the attention redirected back to him and his flunk. He looked around, noting that the scientist had already taken off, probably to tell the police about some freaky albino kid blowing up the research center. Oh, man, he was so screwed. This was not something he wanted to deal with. He shifted his gaze from one person to another, a girl, a younger girl, and a boy with shaggy hair. He couldn't put his finger on it, but there was something equally off about each of them.
Finally, he sighed and rubbed his temples--he could feel a headache coming on. "It's all my fault," he admitted unwillingly. He refused to look any of them in the eye. "I...was sort of working on something in the lab when I shouldn't have. It was just a new weapon! It shouldn't of caused so much damage for a short-zoned bomb... Then again, at least it worked. That's something definitely notable. Even though it sort of blew up the entire facility..." By this point, he realized he had gone off on a rant, mostly mumbling to himself than addressing the others. He sighed harshly. "Don't worry about it--I can fix the building in no time. But don't expect me to explain in lay-man's terms, you people probably wouldn't understand what I'm talking about anyway."
He lifted his head up as he heard some yelling, a sound coming from far away. "What is that?"

Liam looked over at the several car pile-ups on his way over to the piers. He regarded it with a morbid fascination as the people scrambled to get out of their cars. He was just about to pass it up and head for the pier before the police showed when he spied a tanned boy that looked like a runaway staring at a car that was sure to explode. ’The characters you see in Jump City,’ he thought as he shook the boy from his head. It wasn’t his concern what the boy was doing there. Still, the whole deal seemed like quite the happening for circumstance to decide. After all, the crash site was probably swarmed with police officers by now, no doubt searching for survivors or the cause of such an explosion and this little accident site did seem like the place to be. Surely such a character as that seemingly homeless boy couldn’t be here by chance? No, after all these years of crime Liam learned that suspicious characters never stuck around a crime scene unless there was going to be a show. Even if the boy was innocent, he would’ve fled by now, surely. The police weren’t exactly friendly with the homeless or runaways.
Liam leaned against the building with his hands in his pockets, a silent speculator waiting for the show to come. Maybe he could cause his own mischief if things got to calm. What would the public think of fire racing down the streets or a mysterious fog creeping up from the sewers?

Piper looked at the girl, She had just been saved but who had done that. She wondered if the people who had brought her here were the ones behind it. She dismissed it immedetly. "Uuum Keira I never told you my name, It's Piper and I was totally honest with you before".
Asa stood in front of the crowd hearing them cheer her name "Asa,Asa,Asa". It took her a moment when she heard "ASA GET BACK TO WORK I DON'T PAY YOU TO STARE INTO SPACE!" "Ummm yes sir sorry alright So you wanted a cheese pizza with bacon and steak strips I'll have that for you in a minute". Asa hated her job she hated the smell of osters she hated everything about it, but it was that or nothing her singing career wasn't going anywhere so far so she was stuck with this.
As her shift ended she headed to her lone apartment to take a shower it wasn't easy being 15 and having to work but she worked through it.

Keira sighed. She knew what she would need to do. She needed to leave the city. Otherwise they would find her. She headed for the door, but then she froze, hearing a helicopter outside. She closed the door instantly, and put her ear against it, listening. She heard the voices from the other side. "Is she still here?" "We dont know, we are searching the area. But we detected her powers here." "Keep searching, i want her found....". She then heard a bunch of combat boots on the remains of the pier, and the helicopter take off. She silently cursed to herself, before telling them all quietly "We need to go. Now.".
The boots could clearly be heard now by anyone. Ok now Keira had a new problem. Finding a way out of this place. If she could just find a sewer entrance or a tunnel.....although, she just needed to find an electrical outlet and she herself could escape. She then found a trap door into the sewers. She heard the troops clearing some rubble that must have fallen in front of the door. She quietly whispered "Over here!".
Keira was not having a fun day.

Sam sat in the kitchen of her Aunt Sara's old house listening to her talk on the phone in the other room, and drinking a cup of tea. From the hushed conversations she could tell she was talking to her dad, her aunts younger brother. She had caught snippets of what was being said, something about moving and college. Most likely for her older brother, since he was due to go soon, it had been two years since she last saw him. Two years since she left home and came to Jump City. Her aunt came back into the kitchen, setting the cordless phone down on the table and she walked past she went to the sink, “You mother says hi, and asked how school was going..” she said turning and smiling at Sam.
She just nodded and smiled, “And you didn't mention the history grade did you?” she asked, stirring the cup of tea in front of her, the drink was still very hot. Her aunt did a overly dramatic gesture and shook her head no, “Why would I do that? Besides, I think she would be o.k if you called her yourself sometimes. She asked about you and your gift,”
“What the ability to freeze whatever I feel like? Some gift,” she scoffed, the older woman walked to the table and pulled out a chair, sitting down she muttered something about her joints. “Now you look here, some people are given things for a reason, you just haven't found that reason,” Sara peered over the top of her glasses at her niece, “And everything happens for a reason,” she added.
Sam stood up from the table, “Yep,” she said, finishing her tea she set the cup in the sink, “Now I am off the the coffee house to meet Kelly to trade off the notes for our project, its her weekend,” She grabbed her purse from the counter and slid it over her should so it lay across her body. “You will be back before dark?” her aunt asked, turning around in her chair, Sam nodded, “Yea, I'll call if I'll be late for dinner,”. Sara glanced over to the basement door, “Well I guess I can clean out some of the junk down there.. dust off a few things, while your gone,” Sara looked to where Sam had been, but she was already down the door and down the steps.
The street the old town house was one was full of old people and a few new families, but even with the closeness of the houses and everyone knowing everyone, things still happened. Crime was a big part of living in Jump City. Every night the news reported some sort of crime or crimes that had occurred thru out the day. There use to be a group of crime fighters but they all disappeared one day, leaving the Mob and crooks to run around. Most people would think twice before walking down the street, even in daylight. But Sam wasn't like most people.
It was a nice day, the sun was out and a slight breeze made its way thru the streets, perfect weather for a tank top and jeans. She turned onto the street that the coffee house was on and saw a police car rushing down the opposite way, it was followed by a firetruck. Neither stopped for the traffic light. Sam watched them go, sirens were not a big thing to her. Stuff happens, you can't worry about every little thing.
Like always the coffee house was busy, people sitting at the little tables with their laptops sitting on expensive beverages with names that make no sense whats so ever, and maybe eating dried cakes with a zillion calories. Someone was complaining about her drink being to hot, Sam smirked as she scanned the room for her friend. Kelly was standing by the other door, impatiently tapping her foot, she already had a drink in one hand and her car keys out in the other. Weaving thru the tables, Sam made her way to her, “Oh thank gawd, you finally showed up, listen I got a doctors appointment, so could I just get the flash drive and go,” Sam was reaching into her purse as Kelly said this, “Um sure, I thought we could go over the notes, but I can wait,” she held up the drive and Kelly quickly took it, saying a rushed 'good-bye' as she went out the door.
“Miss social butterfly..” Sam said to herself, watching her leave. She didn't want to head home just yet, slightly annoyed at Kelly for rushing out she turned back to the people in the coffee shop, scanning the small crowd she smiled as she saw someone she knew. Stepping thru some tables she set her bag down in front a certain brown haired guy sitting alone. “I never saw you as one to sit in a coffee shop,” she said sitting down. “So whats up Charlie?” she said smiling.

Charlie weaved around some boxes from an alley with a sort of limp, nearly falling twice. "God damn homeless person pissing in my alley" he said. Only a few minutes before he was sleeping, then was awoken by a barking dog and pissing owner. He only took a few seconds to get all his things together, glare at the homeless man (muttering "my alley) and walk out with a leg that was still asleep, looking for somewhere cheap to get some food. He realized that calling someone a "God damn homeless person" wasn't good etiquette, mainly because he himself was without a place to call his home, but he didn't count himself as a grungy man with a gross beanie and horrible beard. He looked half respectable, just a bit like a street punk in military surplus clothes, with just a bit of a funky smell. his chin was starting to get stubbly though, little hairs growing. The hairs were patchy, thin and generally looked bad, but Charlie still felt a sense of pride about them because he thought if he could grow a little beard he could fend for himself. Of course this was just the thinking of a homeless teenager.
Charlie quickly spotted a small cafe that he went to on rare occasions. Walking in he felt the usual eyes on him. Though he looked half respectable he was still different from other people. It wasn't like people could tell that he controlled fire, but he was just someone people noticed. Either that or his smell, he hadn't showers in around 4 days, and smoked a small blunt the night before. He just grabbed the aviator shades from the front pocket of his bag and slipped them on, completing his "military guy" look. At the counter he ordered a bagel and orange juice. As he flipped open the wallet he took from his back pocket his learner's permit from when he was 16 stared back at him. He smirked at the goofy kid with long hair and piercings and fished the needed 4 dollars from the wallet and put it down on the table with a smile. "Thanks" he said, looking at the day's meal. The barista's eyebrows just arched and he looked away. "blah blah blah, yeah I'm different and all that bullshit" he muttered under his breath as he walked away. He sat down at a table with people at the tables all around him. So I'm that D-Bag with a guitar inside a coffee shop he thought, slightly amused. He saw someone he vaguely knew enter the shop and wait impatiently. She ordered a drink and returned to waiting. While he watched the girl he felt slightly creepy, but didn't mind it because if she saw he would say some bullshit about her being beautiful and she would blush and blah blah blah. He thought she was someone who would fall for things like that.
After a few minutes someone Charlie really recognized entered the coffee shop. He smiled a little but looked away and ate his bagel. The girl who waited impatiently and Sam exchanged a few words and Charlie just watched, about to get up and say hello when Sam saw him. "I never saw you as one to sit in a coffee shop," she said, then sat down in the chair opposite to his "So whats up Charlie?" Sam said.
"I'm a complicated person, today I'll be sitting in a coffee shop, tomorrow I'll be making a penrose triangle sculpture" he said with a smirk. Most girls usually wanted to smack it off his face after all his comments. "Plus, I have a guitar. I'm a guy in a coffee shop with a guitar" he said.

Klaude stared quizzically at the girl rushing back and forth across the warehouse floor. She seemed exasperated by the sounds of what Klaude thought to be rescue teams arriving at scene of the bombing. She scanned the warehouse, muttering, "We need to go. Now."
The girl stopped her pacing above a trap-door and whispered, waving her hand at the group with a sense of urgency, "Over here."
Klaude didn't understand her need to get out, but started towards her anyway. At least until the smell hit him. He froze, and almost doubled over.
She wants us to follow her into the SEWER!
"Wh... Why do we need to go down there? Isn't there another was out of this?" He asked shakily, scanning the warehouse for other possible exits.
Why does she need to get away so bad? It's not like the guys out there are looking for us already or anything...

Gizmo turned his nose up instantly at the horrid smell. He could already feel his stomach turning and the germs manifesting themselves onto his clothing. "There's no way I'm going down into that wretched hole," he said, face twisted in disgust and turning away from the sight of him. The nerve of these imbeciles! He wasn't going to get caught regardless of where he was. All HE had to do was disappear--and that's the last anyone would ever see of him. Still, he frowned, taking a glance between the outside where the noises were coming from and towards the sewer. He didn't rather enjoy disappearing, but he wasn't sure he enjoyed being on the run in a stomach-churning place like that. He sighed complacently.

Rowan was sitting in a tree quite peacefully, swinging her legs along with the beat of her newly aquired ipod that she had obtained by stealing it from a store. The scene unfolding beneath her, well it was odd to say in the least. She just shrugged and watched the others panic, not quite knowing why but it was amusing her to watch them. She jumped down from the tree and giggled softly, landing on her feet. She opened the top of the vial that she wore around her neck and put a few seeds in her hands, just incase she would need them at a prior time and walked over near them and cocked her hands on her hips.
"I don't understand your panic," She told them with a small grin on her face as she tossed the seeds down the sewer and listened as she heard them fall with a soft noise. "But then again, it's pretty interesting. And sweet powers," She gave both the girl and the boy a pointed look. She had, after all, been sitting at that tree for a while and had been watching. She grinned and put her hand on her hip, starting to slowly grow the vines in the sewer slowly, not wanting them to notice that their escape would have been taken away from them. Then again she supposed that they could always jump on top of them but it would leave them some nasty cuts from the thorns. She cocked her head and looked at them, still slightly confused as to why they were panicking.

The sky was a soft blue dotted with smears of white clouds and the sun shone gently down onto Jump City. It was hard to believe the sun still shone on such a place, where crime was an hourly occurence. To live in Jump City and not be a victim of crime at some point was impossible, in fact it was believed that some form of crime; theft, assault or vandalism, would happen to a every citizen at least once month. The city of justice had really fallen since the disappearance of the Teen Titans, and the police had become inefficient and sometimes corrupt. Giving information for money; that was the typical way to do it. It was necessery so the badly paid police could feed their familes, while the higher ups did it to have their three luxury holidays a year, their heavily guarded homes and their flash cars. Everything within the city had become so materialistic, things like community and good will all seemed too... Naive. Not to mention time consuming. Why spend all that time and not make any money, not have anything to physically show from it? What a stupid idea.
Several pedestrians raised their phones and took a snapshot of the strange flying object shooting over the city. Some people called out, claiming it was a bird, or a small jet, or a missile. It was about the size of a average man and jet black. White lines ran up the side, although you had to looked closely to see them. In fact, it wan’t quite a man, but it was a late adolescent. Clad in black and a dark coloured visor helmet that reflected the sun, he glided across the city and then dipped towards the sea. He flew along the surface, dodging buoys and the occassional boat as he looked about searching for something. After about thirty minutes, he found it. A rocky outcrop, covered the the rubble of long and rusted metal beams.
The remains of the ‘T’ Tower.
Flying slightly upwards as he closed in on the landmass, he stepped down onto the deserted island and lifted a hand to press into his neck. The visor folded back and disappeared into his collar, revealing short black hair, pale skin and ice blue eyes. His face was sharp and angular, handsome in a point sort of way. A smile stretched across his lips as he folded his arms and cocked his head, speaking the words.
“I found you.”

Klaude eyed the newcomer warily. It was suspicious enough that she appeared in the warehouse that Klaude had presumed to be devoid of all life except for he and his company, but she had dropped out of a tree! Where had the tree come from?
This bizzare enterance along with the fact he had already bumped into two other 'supes' led him to suspect that there was a chance that this new iPod listening girl could be another power user. Under this assumption it was only natural for him to take a peek at what she had thrown imto the sewer.
Klaude peered into the portal to the raw sewage hell. His eyes narrowed, plants were slowly cutting off their 'escape' route.
"Who... are you?" He asked, without turning, his quiet voice cutting through the warehouse air. His right hand was sneaking into his jaket pocket, reaching for a spool of wire.

NOw you see the problem i had? It seems like i missed a few hours and you all launched on some big adventure....and i have no clue whats going on....
Re: [OOC] The New Heroes
I'm not quite sure what's going on anymore... So... Um... I may drop out. I mean, I don't quite understand where this roleplay is going. SO, I really am sorry, but this is just to much. The ratios are insane, there is no difinitive plot, and I really don't think I can make Liam work. This started out as a really awesome idea, but it's become kind of sad. Sorry.
Re: [OOC] The New Heroes
i did the last post so im waiting for someone else to post..... it doesnt seem right for me to post twice in a row
Re: [OOC] The New Heroes
Well, I'm sorry to say, this started out as one of my favorite-type RPs and I was extremely interested, but I just don't understand at all anymore what's really going on anywhere. The way people are writing their posts, I can't make true heads or tails on where 'we' are, where 'they' are, who's doing what, who's after who, who knows what about this or him or her, etc. I would post now, but I'm hardly even sure of my current position it in. I'm sorry for this, but I may just quit, having my character leave the group in the RP and stay on the run, invisible, never to appear again. Literately. Then just drop out.
Re: [OOC] The New Heroes
Thats fine, can i say that he's like 19 or 20 years old? because i was kind of wanting him to be one of the older characters.
Also thank you for accepting my character. :)

Charecter--you're praised, xP
And Universe, I know, I get what you're saying. I was just joking. My character is no vigilante. He's pure hero powah. But yeah, having too many anti-heroes can get to be a little unoriginal after a while, I understand completely where you're coming from with that.

Re: [OOC] The New Heroes
Wheezy, I approved your character, but would recommend lowering his age, the other hero's ages range from like 5-17.
and everyone else, I totally forgot to mention, me and lilozzy (who hasn't posted in a while) said that while we would wait for a real base, we could use her aunt's basement that was once a bomb shelter, so it has rooms and supplies. I know, I should have let all of you know the details, and I'm actually sort of sorry it totally passed my mind.
Spectrum, I get yours is an accident. It's just, we can't all be anti-heroes, vigilantes.

Re: [OOC] The New Heroes
Hey, he might of blown of the building, but it was completely accidental! It wasn't his fault, really. And he'll fix it up eventually. Super genius, right? Besides, in cartoons, construction never takes years like it does in the real world.
Re: [OOC] The New Heroes
MY hero just got addicted to the fun of stealing since she had to steal the food she ate.....and besides, if we are to set up a base, we need to have money for the stuff....
Now, who has 9 thousand dollars of funding we can use......
Wait, wasnt it 10? xD

(And why not, anti-heroes are really bad-ass.)

okay, see no there's something I don't get here. Why are the good guys acting like bad guys? They're the good guys, presumably meaning that they have good intentions, and a good sense between right and wrong, yet so far the good guys have lifted and ipod and what, 10000 dollars? and blown up a lab. It's just confusing to me.
