Penny had tidied up a bit in her apartment but not too much seeing as she didn't care and the fact was she preferred messy rooms. Penny had gotten into the shower and later afterwards got dressed and she managed to do her hair a little and a little bit of makeup and soon this followed by getting some nice flats on and she grabbed a nice looking jacket and slipped it on. She opened the door when he knocked and she stepped outside shutting her door and she looked at Leonard. "Shall we go?" She asked trying to break the awkwardness,

Jessica put the sanitizer in the cart, "I see working hard to show everyone there's a fourth dimension I see" she said with a smile. She passed by a rack in the womens department and picked up a pair of flip flops that would fit her. "Now I know they have like camping cots that just fold up I'll get one of those and I can sleep on that instead of the couch. That way I can just put it away and it's not going to take up too much space", she said.

leonard walked penny to his car and drove them to the restaurant " this is nice so how have you been penny" he asked

Sheldon nodded in agreement as his mind began to wander. He started thinking about who would win if Joker and the Riddler ever decided to face off. The reason for said confrontation would almost certainly be Batman.

Jessica found the camping section well at least she thought it was, she had never been camping in her life so she really wasn't sure. There was a guy stocking in the isle, the red shirt he was wearing was stretched due to his athletic build, and he had flowing shoulder length blonde hair. Not realizing what she was getting into Jessica walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Excuse me I'm looking for camping cots do you know where I can find them" she asked. He stood up and flexed his muscles, rippling under the red polo shirt the Target symbol stitched on it. He had a name tag that said Todd on it, and he grinned at Jessica, "Well sure if you'll just follow me I'd love to show you where they are", he said.

Jessica nodded and followed him, "So... you new in town or something cause I think I'd remember someone so pretty if she'd been in before" he said with another cheezy grin. Jessica sighed as she listened to the guy butcher the English language. "Yes I'm new, I just got in today actually" Jessica said as she looked at the prices on the various cots in front of her and trying her best to sound nice.

Todd glanced at Sheldon who appeared to be in deep thought about something, leaning in close to Jessica "So please tell me this guy isn't your boyfriend I mean he's a total geek. You think I might be able to get your number?", he whispered in her ear.

Jessica put her hand right into his face, "You are way to close to me right now Todd seriously your garlic breath is bad man, and I happen to like guys who's intelligence is higher then that of primates who like to fling poo at each other. So if you don't mind I'd ask you to refrain from using your mediocre pick up lines on me. You're distracting me from making the needed calculations on how many times I have to sleep on one of these cots before it wears out."

Todd raised an eyebrow at Jessica and made his way back to the isle where he was stocking before. Jessica picked one of the cots and put it in the cart, "Okay Sheldon I think we're ready to go".

Penny looked at Leonard and gave him a small smile. "I've been alright." Penny said. "You?" She asked and soon he had pulled up at the restaurant and she got out of the car and walked in with him.

Sheldon watched as Todd tried, rather ineffectively, to obtain Jessica's phone number. "I believe that would commonly be referred to as a fail." he noted. In reference to her comment about how many times she could sleep on one of the cots before it wore out Sheldon looked from her to the cot before saying "It depends greatly on how much you weigh and how restful of a sleeper you are. Oh, I just had an idea. When we get home we could play Zork! the nineteen-eighties text adventure."

leonard pulled her chair out for her and pushed it in when she sat down then sat across her and poured the wine "I've been good you know science stuff" he said smiling at her "how's the acting going"

When Penny sat down he pushed it in for her and she smiled. When he told her he was good and said science stuff she was glad that he didn't go on about it. "Oh, well you know I'm just waiting for the right role to come up." She said giving him a small smile and soon she picked up a menu. "Although, a physic told me if I cut my hair my acting career would go better." She mentioned.

"you know psychichs aren't real and you hair is nice long" he said

Penny looked at Leonard. "But she wasn't like an every day normal physic she was different, maybe if I did cut it a bit shorter maybe I would have better luck in the acting business." Penny said and kept looking over the menu.

"I think your hair is fine" he siad smiling

Soon she had finally ordered and she picked up her glass to take a sip of it. "So anything interesting happen in your day?" She asked setting her glass down.

You mean Sheldon. And Jessica getting along perfectly" he said

"Wow Zork I've heard of it but I've never had a chance to play it. I've always wanted to try it." said Jessica as they climbed into another cab. Jessica stood and waited for Sheldon to open the door to the apartment. She looked at the apartment across the hall "So that must be Penny's apartment, she must be tolerable if she even considered Leonard as datable material. I know girls like her typically they end up with guys that are total douche bags".

"Yes Penny is the second most recent addition to our social group, the most recent being my acquaintance Howard's fiance Bernadette. You'll probably meet them sometime soon." Sheldon took the keys to the apartment from his pocket and unlocked the door. "As for her dating Leonard, it's not such a surprise really. They've dated before and were broken up by Wheaton so that he could win a bowling competition against me."

"I haven't been bowling in years, my mom told that it wasn't very feminine to play it." Jessica shrugged her shoulders, "But then again my mom never really liked me to play anything that she didn't approve of. So I was limited to gymnastics, dance classes of some sort, and cheer leading; but now that I think about it she really only wanted me to be in cheer leading just cause she was. She has this habit of trying live vicariously through me which is why I couldn't tell Leonard my true plans till I got here. And why he thought I was blonde bimbo with a brain the size of a micro-particle".

"My father was similar in that manner. He strongly disapproved of my taking dance lessons, although I suppose that's a bad example as my mother was the one making me take them in the first place." Sheldon paused. "I think a better example would be his insistence that I learn everything he could teach me about football and how to shoot close enough to a raccoon that it loses control of its bowels." He walked over to his computer and started it up. With a few clicks of the mouse and some taps of the keys it was starting Zork!. He then handed Jessica Leonard's laptop. "Here. He may have changed his password since the last time I used it but I can almost guarantee that it contains the word 'Penny'."

(Sorry, first for being gone but I told Jack to tell you guys I would be and secondly for saying this here D:)

"Really? Well I suppose it's nice for him to have someone who can handle constantly being around Sheldon. She didn't seem as bad as you put her, Leonard." Penny said thinking about her meeting with Jessica. "She actually seems more like the nerdy type, like you." She spoke without even thinking about it and then she really hoped he didn't take it offensively.

I agree which is why I think I'll be glad to have her around someone to keep Sheldon company when I can't stand to be around him he may be my best friend but he's hard to deal with" he said
