Lucius is an intelligent looking man who holds himself confidently. His mouth curves slightly upwards in a sort of natural smile, which helps to bolster the confidence of others.

He can be a little intimidating looking in his armor of the Winged Order, and especially so when mounted upon his gryphon. He tries to offset this with humor and banter.

Fighting style: Wields a two-handed sword and unleashes large, powerful slashes with his blade. At the range of being able to touch can turn undead and demons with the holy word and touch. Can command Kâl, his gryphon, to buffet an enemy with his huge wings, or claws, etc.


He's actually a pretty friendly person, however he can be a bit fanatical when it comes to hunting monsters and evil. He is the sort of knight who is a protector of the weak, however if someone proves to him they can hold their own he will ease up on being protective. He is quick to trust and befriend those of good intentions... which can be bad. He also can be a little bit unlucky at times. He is very protective of Kâl, even if the huge beast could probably kill him easily if he wanted to.

He is quick to befriend and thinks of his traveling companions as friends, even if he just met them. Those who fight alongside him in battle also have a dear spot in his heart - they have protected him, and he shall protect them.

Equipment

Weapon: Two Handed Sword, "Dawnbringer", a sword that lights up in the dark and has faint holy energy coursing through it. The blade is more powerful when charged up under the sun's light.
Armor: Banded Mail. Silver bands as well as golden colored bands make up the mail. One pauldron is lined with great gray gryphon feathers for decoration.
Helmet: Winged Helmet. Silver-white in the sunlight, this helmet has small wings on the sides. The insignia of the Winged Order, a cross with wings, is on the front of it. This helmet is open faced except for a nose guard.

Mount: Kâl, a large "gold" gryphon with a wingspan of 30 feet.

History

A knight of the Winged Order of Ehletten, Lucius is a paladin trained to fight on gryphonback. He was brought into the Winged Order when he was 10 years old, as a page. His father was a peasant who happened to raise enough money to buy land, and had put even more money aside to be able to make his son a knight. He has spent the rest of his life training and hunting the less-than-good of this world, and is a veteran of many battles, however upon a small scale, and usually of little import.

He left his family behind and sends them money when he can, however his father died of sickness in the months past and news that his mother is doing poorly on her own troubles him from time to time. He has one sibling, Leiyana. who is a merchant somewhere in Taivas. However, he has not been able to contact her for many years. The two do not get along together well at all. For everything good in Lucius' character, she is not.

Lucius has doubts of his abilities to help save the world, but this is mostly because he is just one of a few against so many.

The Winged Order used to be a grand Order of Knights around the world, however, now, the Winged Order is only found in Ehletten and Roktahloj, though the latter continues to dwindle as gryphon populations decline. The Winged Order has been consecutively outcasted from territories for unknown reasons.
