Appearance: Li Long has messy, raven-colored hair reaching to the nape of his neck. Lean and muscular, his physique is hidden by a black cloak he wears over his normal, Fire Nation-style clothes. He has bronze-colored eyes and scars criss-crossing his body. Most notable is a diagonal scar across the left side of his face that looks to be from a knife.

Fighting Style: Li's style is ferocious and without mercy. If he is to leave someone alive, he brutally slices his opponent's weapon-hand off. Based off firebending, his form of fighting is still beautiful to look at and relies more on speed than strength. Although he is trained chiefly in melee combat with a blade, Li can throw daggers and shuriken quickly and accurately as well as smoke bombs to give him the element of surprise.

History

Born in a small village in the Fire Nation, Li was happy for a time. He lived with only his father as his mother died from childbirth, but he wasn't sad that much as he never knew her. When he was just 13, however, his father got drunk in the village's annual Summer Solstice celebration and ended up in an Agni Kai where he was subsequently killed. At night, Li angrily found the man his father dueled and killed him. On the run from the authorities, Li left his village and fell in to crime, eventually becoming mercenary. After an assassination that went bad, Li was thrown into jail. There, he would have been executed if a member of the White Lotus hadn't found him. He was offered a second chance and fearing death, Li took it. His past life and instincts are at odds with White Lotus philosophy, but Li is loyal to the society because he feels a debt of gratitude towards it, a debt he hopes to repay.
