Introduction
For those who cannot afford private school, the local alternative is Everwood High. This school is public, in a crumbling building closer to the bad part of town. If given the choice, parents would rather have their children attending St. Joseph's, so the students of Everwood are generally of lower class. They have not uniform, and their mascot is the falcon.
Between the two schools, there isn't much interaction. The St. Joseph students stay away from the public school 'troublemakers', and the Everwood kids don't care for the 'rich snots'. Going to different schools, and without much in common, the students of these to schools have never had any reason to socialize with each other. Until now. Over the school holidays, a fire broke out in the Everwood School Building, and it was deemed unsafe for students. The closest high school being St. Joseph's the academy opened its doors to the students of Everwood. And come the first day back from break, will the students be able to look past their stereotypes of each other, or will they always be the bad kids and the rich kids to each other?
Rules
I know I didn't give very much information on Everwood, but seeing as the setting of this roleplay will be St. Joseph's, I think that it's more important to know about. Besides, Everwood is just an average public school.
For this roleplay, all I ask is that you write at least two paragraphs in each of your posts, be literate, keep everything PG-13, and respect RolePlayGateway's rules.
Also, please try to create interesting characters, and keep gender and school ratios equal.
I recommend reading a few posts from the old IC about anybody's characters that were here before.

OOC Notes
(Its the second day back from winter break, the Everwood school burnt over break, so its only like, the second day ever for everwood kids.)

Alex raised her eyebrows. "Wow, that's pretty awesome. And in less than a minute. With that, I'd think you'd take the captain's spot." She pushed of the locker as she ran her eyes over him. She could tell just by looking at him how athletic he was. She absent-mindedly ran a hand through her hair and met his gaze once again. Let out a long breath. "But maybe you're right about me. There's a chance I could get it."
"And we don't play during the winter - later on this semester, but I'm working on getting an early start," she said after a brief pause, her fingers still entwined in her hair.

On her way to the music room she wasn't watching and accidently bumpped into Dave. She got balanced again then looked down. "Sorry Dave, I didn't mean to bump into you."

“Jake! I have great news!”
Eve grabbed his arm as she spoke without acknowledging Alex.
She rolled her eyes. It was typical for a St. Joseph's kid to do something like this. Annoyed, she started to say something, but as Eve curtseyed, her words morphed into a bright laugh. Alex softened as she apologized, putting a hand on the locker to steady herself. She grimaced to herself, slightly disappointed that she had thought Eve was rude. “It‘s fine. I was about to leave anyways. Yeah, though, I’m from Everwood. I’m Alex, by the way,” she answered in a pleasant voice.

David looked up at the girl, "Oh, no problem" he muttered, not meaning to sound rude, he said something else, "Where exactly were you headed? If it was to the music room, thats my fault for standing here", he grinned jokingly and put a hand against the wall.

David laughed and then let a smile flash across his face, "Heard some good guitar playing, wanted to listen in"

Alex's face spread into a wide grin. She was surprised and even contented when Eve realized who she was. It made her feel significant that she could be recognized as part of team. Nodding, she asnwered, "Yeah, I am. And you are...," looking away for a moment, racking her brain. Alex glanced at her face, still thinking. Her looks weren't really familar, but maybe her voice...she smiled as a light bulb seemed to flicker on in her head,"You're student council president." Just by the way Eve carried herself you could tell that she was smart - very smart.
"Oh, and congrats on your musical. I hope you get the part."
Alex felt the straps of her backpack cutting into her shoulder. She stood up straight and readjusted herself as Jake asked what their next class was. She pulled a folded piece of paper from her pocket and eyes grazed over it. "Social Studies - can't wait," she said with a snippet of good-natured sarcasm.

Eve was pulled from her thoughts when Jake spoke, asking her what was wrong. So... Even when hiding it, he could tell? She looked over at him and then glanced at the ground, still deeply concerned. What could she say? That she was afraid of Kaine? That she didn't want to be anywhere near him? That would be like saying she couldn't handle it... No. Admitting to that would be the worst thing of all. Up until now, Eve had taken care of herself and dealt with her own problems. Sure, she hadn't ever been dragged into drama this deep, but that was no excuse. Even now, she would handle her own problems... They were hers to bear, not anyone else's. But then, what could she tell him? There was no way that he would believe everything was fine; Jake was too smart for that. However, fortunate or not, he figured out the problem on his own, asking if Kaine was in the council. Without meaning to, the smile slipped from her face, and she quickly turned her head away from him. "Y... Yes..." She whispered, trembling slightly. "H... He's the vice president." Before Jake could say anything, though, she looked up at him, trying to keep her expression strong, but it was faltering. "B-But I can handle it," She tried to assure him, so that he wouldn't worry. "I-It's only an hour, right? B-Besides, it's... not like I can avoid him..." Her gaze turned to Alex, now, who she hoped wouldn't grow concerned by this conversation. "Oh! K-Kaine's an old friend of mine," She explained, giving her best smile. "W-We sort of left on bad terms... I think..." Truthfully, she wasn't sure what kind of terms they were on, but it felt like he hated her. For some reason, she got the feeling that he was targeting her, and it was nerve-wracking. "I-I guess I'll find out, anyways."

Masking her thoughts, Alex simply nodded and smiled sypathetically. "Don't worry about it, I'm sure you'll be fine," she managed, giving her a quick pat on the shoulder. Glancing at Jake, she said, "I'm gonna head to class. I'll see you guys later." Alex walked off, dilerbately leaving them so they could discuss whatever was going on.
(question - does Eve had a stutter or is she just nervous...jw)

Eve gave a small smile, pleased by Jake and Alex's small encouragement. It wasn't much, since all of them were in a hurry, but it was enough. "Thanks a lot," She said to both of them, happily. "I-I'll see you later..." Now they both ran off to class, so she followed suit and turned, heading down the, now almost empty, hallway. Soon enough, she found herself in the government classroom, where the student council would occupy for the first hour. Unfortunately, Kaine was already there, sitting right in his usual seat. With a deep breath and her friends in mind, she walked into the classroom and sat down in the president chair, right next to Kaine. This would be easy, as long as she kept everything professional. This was student council... They could talk about business. However, there was still this time while they waited for the others to arrive, where he had all of the chances in the world to talk to her. Sadly for her, he did.
"Hey, Eve," He greeted as she sat down, a bright smile on his face. She did her best to smile back. "H-Hi Kaine..." She greeted nervously, giving the best smile she could muster... It wasn't very much, and he noticed that. "Aww, c'mon, you're not still upset about that, are you?" Her eyes widened and she looked away from him, the smile easily slipping away. "N-No," She replied, stubbornly. "O-Of course not!" He smirked. "Really? Cuz' I know you... and you're never this nervous." He gently placed a hand on her back, making her face turn bright red. "Are you okay?" Immediately, she shook her head. "I-I'm fine," She replied. "S-Seriously. I-I am." He wasn't buying it. Slowly, he leaned down to her, like he was trying to comfort a friend. "C'mon, Eves. You can tell me. We're still friends, right?" Something snapped inside of her and she closed her eyes tightly, trembling. "Friends...?" She whispered, desperately. "You think... we're friends? A-After what you said... H-How hard you let me fall... Y-You think we're friends?!" Tears fell down her cheeks and she covered her mouth. "Y-You left me for someone else, Kaine! O-Of course I'm not okay! O-Of course I'm still upset! W-Why... W-Why did you..." She didn't even get a chance to finish speaking before he pulled her close, hugging her so that her face buried in her chest. "You're so easy to read," He whispered. "I knew you wanted to cry. You hardly wore any makeup just because of that." Her eyes widened and she shoved him back, standing up. "D-Don't touch me!" She screeched, trembling. Why was he trying to comfort her, like that? Why did he care? Why did he keep piecing her heart back together, only to rip it apart the next second?!
Before anything else could happen, the teacher called the meeting to order, reviewing yesterday's events until Eve had calmed down. Once she had, she casually led the meeting, albeit somewhat monotonously. It was obvious that she was deeply upset, but now Kaine acted as if he didn't even care, just stating his business briefly. It actually seemed like he hated her again because, unlike what he used to do, he voted against everything she proposed, bringing the rest of the members with him. It wasn't a very good day for her in council, to say the least, and she struggled just to get through it. Soon enough, though, it was over and she quickly gathered her things. Kaine quickly did so, as well, but he didn't bother her again. Rather, he gave her a brief smile, said "keep it up", and left the room. Eve gave a soft sigh of relief, though it was sort of late for that. In just one hour, he had managed to bring down her glowing demeanor and make her thoroughly depressed. Just what was he trying to pull with this "friend" crap when he didn't even care...?
[OOC: Also, wasn't there a two paragraph limit for this RP? And I'll make Kaine's character sheet as soon as I can... I promise! >~<]

I kind of miss that rp. I mean I go back and read it once in awhile. I just wish I was a better writer in that rp. I mean I had really bad grammar and spelling back then. I am sooooo much better now :)

"(She tried to be a monkey and swing from a vine and fell into the water, catching her foot on something at the bottom...)"
I would respond to this inside the RP but I have nothing to post with my character :P so I wont bother risking my chance of getting yelled at :P
Anyways back to what you said Gazimu , you still remember that part of the rp??? you know in the plane crash one? haha.
That wasn't what happened though :P Although there was a rope swing. But my one friend didn't want to go on it :(
It was just simply the fact that a big waved came in I swallowed a whole bunch of water choked and the wave pushed me down not being able to breathe. Then my one friend pulled me out of the water onto to the rope that divides the boating area and swimming area..I was in the boating area. That is my short version. I got more details and what not about what happened. But I wont explain it all.
