For those who cannot afford private school, the local alternative is Everwood High. This school is public, in a crumbling building closer to the bad part of town. If given the choice, parents would rather have their children attending St. Joseph's, so the students of Everwood are generally of lower class. They have not uniform, and their mascot is the falcon.
Between the two schools, there isn't much interaction. The St. Joseph students stay away from the public school 'troublemakers', and the Everwood kids don't care for the 'rich snots'. Going to different schools, and without much in common, the students of these to schools have never had any reason to socialize with each other. Until now. Over the school holidays, a fire broke out in the Everwood School Building, and it was deemed unsafe for students. The closest high school being St. Joseph's the academy opened its doors to the students of Everwood. And come the first day back from break, will the students be able to look past their stereotypes of each other, or will they always be the bad kids and the rich kids to each other?
I know I didn't give very much information on Everwood, but seeing as the setting of this roleplay will be St. Joseph's, I think that it's more important to know about. Besides, Everwood is just an average public school.
For this roleplay, all I ask is that you write at least two paragraphs in each of your posts, be literate, keep everything PG-13, and respect RolePlayGateway's rules.
Also, please try to create interesting characters, and keep gender and school ratios equal.
I recommend reading a few posts from the old IC about anybody's characters that were here before.

These poor, unfortunate souls were once a part of this great world, but have been abandoned. Why don't you consider viewing their profiles and making a decision on whether or not you can roleplay them accurately?
Jake sat through the usual, it was all stuff about africa and the different types of places there, but finally the bell rang, he rushed to his locker and shoved everything anywhere so he could go find some friends. He spotted Eve at the door of one of the rooms, with Kaine walking his way, he headed towards her, and bumped into Kaine on purpose, "Whoops", he spat out the words at Kaine, a dirty smile had crossed his face as Kaine just backed away, things were getting better already. When Jake go over though the thong of students to Eve, he studied her face, had she been crying? He decided not to be too direct, "Hey Eve, how did the council meeting go?"
(Haha totally. I can't say he won't be punished, though. XP)
"Al," she says as she starts unwinding the tape around her hands. "Al Bradley."
"Alexandra Bradley, the only female MMA fighter in the entire tri-state area. Am I right?"
"Yes sir," Al says, secretly beaming at the fact that someone from St. Joseph's recognizes who she is.
The coach sticks out his hand to her. "Im Coach Mitchell. I'm head of just about every sport here." Al shakes his hand, the both of them smiling. "Well it was nice meeting you Al, but I think now it's time you change back into your uniform and go onto your next class." He laughs at Al's grimace towards the uniforms. "Dont let the kids here fool you, most of then hate the uniform as well. Now skedaddle. But just so you know Al," she pauses at the entrance of the locker room to look back at him, "my gym is open and available to anyone who wants to practice in it."
"Thanks," Al says before going into the girls locker room. She quickly pulls her hair out if the loose ponytail it was in, her straight blonde hair falling all around and past her shoulders. She clips back her bangs and puts her her cap on then changes out of the half tank top and exersize shorts into the white dress shirt and plain black skirt that was her new uniform. She leaves the sweater vest in her backpack, hating to even look at it. She buttons only thevery middle button of the dress shirt, leaving her light blue sports bar and flat stomach exposed. She slings her back pack over her shoulder then leaves the locker room. She digs her schedule out of her backpack and rounds a corner not really looking at where she's going and nearly collides with two people standing there talking.
"Huh? Oh! Kaine," the guy says, holding out his hand for the other girl to shake. "Student council vice president, at your service. And you are...?"
Al rolls her eyes. 'Great' she thinks. 'St. Joseph's kids...
(From sweet to sour? Heheh I like playing Kaine. He's gonna get his butt kicked, one day. XP)
Eve turned to where he was looking and immediately wished she didn't. Kaine was talking with two girls... She wasn't sure who they were, but she didn't care. Eve could barely look at him, right now. Tears built up in he eyes and she turned away from him, looking at the ground. "AP English..." She murmured quietly, beginning to walk down the hallway. "W-We better hurry, or we might be late." Like she always seemed to lately, Eve tried to smile, pretending that everything was okay. "How about you, Jake?"
"AP English. Seems to be a pretty full class, from what I've heard..." Kaine says. Al says nothing, instead she just groans inwardly. 'Really? I have to be in a class with him??' Al thinks as she tucks her schedule into the top of her sports bra.
"I have AP english as well," Tansie says. Al gives her a small smile at that as she pulls the hideous sweater vest out of her backpack.
"I guess I'll see you in class then. Once again it was nice meeting you Tansie. Kaine," she says cooly, barely glancing at him. She follows Tansie's directions to the class, giving Jake a small wave and smile as she passes him. When she gets to her class she immediately goes up to the teacher, her schedule in hand. The teacher -Mr. Fitz- gives her schedule a quick one over as she pulls the sweater vest on then hands it back to her.
"Welcome to my English class miss Bradley. You, Jake, and Alex are the only Everwood students I have this hour. Is it Allie or Alex also?" he asks Al.
"Al," she states plainly. "Just Al."
"Ah okay, well forgive me then. Al it is." He quickly writes it down into his rollbook then glances down at what looks like a seating chart. "Alright you are going to be in the second row, in between Jake and Kaine. Eve is behind you, Alex to her left, behind Jake, and Tansie is behind Kaine. I'm sure you all will get along just fine. It's why I grouped y'all together." Al just nods kind of numbly. In between Kaine and Jake... Kaine... keeps repeating in her ears as she goes and sits down in her newly assigned seat. 'Kaine is sitting next to me... On my right... GREAT...' she thinks as she gets her notebook and a pen out, getting ready for class. Other students start filtering in and are assigned their new seats, all of them giving her in her cap an odd look as they walk past. She just looks back at them instead of pulling her cap back around and lowering the bill of it over her face and slumping down in the seat. 'Kaine... GREAT...' she thinks again, waiting for him, Tansie, Jake and whoever Eve and Alex are to come in.
(OOC: I hope I included everyone in this that's still actively RPing! :])
Jake took his seat and looked at Kaine, right beside him now, 'God, its going to be a long class' he thought. He took his notebook out, and then noticed someone sit down on his other side, and grinned widely, "Psst, David, what are you doing in my classroom?" he joked, David looked over at him and laughed, "That should be my seat bud". Jake leaned back and touched the desk, "Well, its mine, what are ya going to do about it?", puffing up his jersey as a joke, David looked at it and laughed again, "Well, for starters, the jersey came from me".
Kaine rolled his eyes when she ignored him. "If you aren't fully dressed by the end of next period, Al, then I'll be dragging you to the principal. Understood?" When she walked away, he just held himself in high pride, not even bothering to glare back, or even look at her. Everwood students just weren't worth his time. Now he turned to Tansie, smiling, though it was obvious that he was annoyed. "Well, then I guess I'll see you in class," He said before turning and leaving. By the time he entered the class, Al was pulling her shirt on over her head, and he just smirked. Without looking at her even once, he sat down and said, "Nice to see you wearing some clothes, for once. You might wanna watch that, from now on, or you could get expelled." Then, he glanced at Eve once, and turned back to his notebook when he saw that she was just furiously doodling something. What's got her so upset? I didn't do anything, this time... Maybe that Jake kid did something? I swear to God, I'll kill him if... eh... I guess it doesn't really concern me, anymore.
Eve looked up at Jake as he spoke about the girls, a bit surprised. "Y-You can hear what they're saying from all the way over here?" She asked, appalled. Suddenly, she shook her head, glancing once down the hallway before forcing herself to smile at him. "I-I'm not worried," She lied. "I-I just thought I recognized one of them, is all. A-Actually, one of them is from St. Joseph's... She's the captain of the soccer team and she... she agreed to help me with my audition for the musical..." Of course, she actually WAS worried about why Tansie might be talking to Kaine, of all people, but she couldn't question it. After all, they weren't exactly close friends, and it was none of her business. Not only that, but how could she tell Tansie that she was dropping out of the auditions, after all of the trouble that she had gone through to help? "W-We better hurry to class or we'll be late," Eve said, quickly changing the subject. It wasn't long before they made it to class and she sat down in her desk, watching as Kaine came in. Oh, Kaine... Even when her heart was aching, he looked amazing. What he said to the Everwood girl from earlier really surprised her, though, and she blushed bright red. W-What did he just say?! T-That... T-That's just... What the hell?! Immediately, she pulled out a notebook and began to doodle, furiously, trying to ignore him, but that comment wouldn't leave her mind. She knew that wasn't what he meant, and that he was talking about the uniform dillemma from earlier, but still... The way he had said it was what got her all flustered.
Tansie watched as Kaine and Al both walked off. Then she watched as Jake? and Eve walked by. Tansie had entered just when Jake and David were making jokes. Tansie walked in and sat where her new seat was. Which was behind Kaine. She noticed Al sitting inbetween Jake and Kaine. Then she saw David beside Jake on the other side. It was weird how they were all seated so close to each other. Then she noticed Eve beside her. "Hey Eve" She said smiling. Then Tansie pulled her notebook out. She was now writing a few things down that she wanted to do in her life time. There was lots of stuff it all amazed her but half the stuff she probaly wouldn't be able to do because of going to a school like this. So Tansie flipped a few pages and had a blank clean white sheet of paper.
Al doesn't roll her eyes at Kaine this time, instead she turns towards him and takes her cap off putting it into her bag then unclips her bangs, letting then fall into her face before brushing them to the side and puts on her most innocent (yet sexy) look. She says in an extremely sweet voice with a small grin, "I bet that what you're really wishing in that small male brain of yours that you'd really rather see me without any clothes at all in the privacy of your own home so you won't have to worry about me turning any other guy but yourself on and deciding to go off with one of them instead of you with your tiny littledick. Am I right?" She smiles at him again then turns forward in her seat, a slightly smug look on her face as some of the other students around them chuckle quietly. Al doesn't even glance at Kaine again as she stretches her long, smooth legs out in front of herself, her skirt raising up just the teensiest amount yet somehow making the skirt appear much shorter and her legs just that much longer. Still being totally cool, calm, and collected she flips open her notebook to a clean page and writes AP ENGLISH in neat letters at the top of her page as well as her name, ready for the class to begin.
Kaine raised his eyebrows and just watched her as she attempted to "seduce" him or whatever the hell she was doing. He didn't seem flustered in the slightest, so some students assumed that his smirk meant she was right. "So you're admitting to liking me?" He asked, raising his eyebrows curiously. As if he were bored of this conversation, he turned away from her and began to write in his notebook, though the smile was still clear on his face. "I'm sorry, but I don't date sluts." Suddenly, he jerked his thumb over his shoulder, pointing at Eve. "Saying that I would ever want to do that with you is just like calling her a slut. Now that wasn't very nice, was it?"
Eve was overjoyed when she found Tansie sitting next to her, and yet a little nervous, as well. "H-Hey Tansie," She greeted her friend, able to smile a little bit. Unfortunately, she seemed to have gotten dragged into more drama as Kaine used her to try and make Al, who was acting like a fool, feel guilty for acting that way. Her cheeks flushed bright red as she heard what Al said. This was getting out of hand. "H-Hey! B-Both of you, just--" She was cut off by Kaine suddenly bringing her into it, saying that Al was basically calling her a slut. A small tremor ran through Eve's body, and she felt her authority slip away as she became part of the situation. Kaine was too smart for his own good if he knew how to manipulate the student council to not be able to do anything about this... Shouldn't he know better than to get involved with Everwood students? Wasn't that why the principal had gotten so upset with her, yesterday? Feeling defeated, she sat back down and stared at her hands, trying to think of what to do. Maybe just let class start? There were still three minutes until then... This wasn't good. Kaine and Al were really causing a big uproar in the class. "L-Leave me out of this," She murmured quietly, closing her eyes.
Kaine just rolled his eyes. "Eve, she just insulted you AND she's causing a disruption in the class. Aren't you going to do something?" Eve shook her head. "What?!" He cried, laughing. "But you're the student council president, aren't you?! Then do something!" Eve had had enough. Standing up, she slammed her fist against the desk. "And YOU'RE the vice president, isn't that correct? Set an example, Kaine!" He just rolled his eyes again and laid his head on his desk while some kids started laughing and whispering. "B*tch..." Kaine muttered, and her eyes widened. Again, she felt useless and broken, and all she wanted to do was hide. Trembling, she looked at Jake, a little scared and unsure of what to do. Nobody had ever called her something like that, before...
(Jake and David so have to get in on this somehow)

Now I've grown better and got a new laptop that is actually mine and I don't have to share very often :D
I kind of miss that rp. I mean I go back and read it once in awhile. I just wish I was a better writer in that rp. I mean I had really bad grammar and spelling back then. I am sooooo much better now :)
Because it just seemed so movie-like and cheesey.
"(She tried to be a monkey and swing from a vine and fell into the water, catching her foot on something at the bottom...)"
I would respond to this inside the RP but I have nothing to post with my character :P so I wont bother risking my chance of getting yelled at :P
Anyways back to what you said Gazimu , you still remember that part of the rp??? you know in the plane crash one? haha.
That wasn't what happened though :P Although there was a rope swing. But my one friend didn't want to go on it :(
It was just simply the fact that a big waved came in I swallowed a whole bunch of water choked and the wave pushed me down not being able to breathe. Then my one friend pulled me out of the water onto to the rope that divides the boating area and swimming area..I was in the boating area. That is my short version. I got more details and what not about what happened. But I wont explain it all.
I haven't seen much posting since I've been gone..
Oh and there has been a changed of plans..for my trip.
I will be leaving the 16th instead and I will be gone for two days come back. Then I will leave again in an hour for about three days.
I'm sorry for not replying very much, guys. My explanation is in my last post in the IC. >_<
I'll try to stay more on top of it, but I'm being smashed by work, lately. :S
