Kyra

"Fight first, Talk later."

0 · 1,287 views · located in Anywhere but the Lab

a character in “The Outside”, as played by BlueWind_22

Description

Name:: Kyra

Age:: She is around 18

Gender:: Female

Mutation::
- Shapeshifter: She can turn into a tiger whenever she wants.
- Telepathy: She can send and read thoughts. She sometimes gets stuck in other people's heads, which happens almost every other week.
- Super strength and speed: She can bend metal into any shape she wants and she can let people ride on her back, but that rarely happens. She isn't as fast a cheetah or a bullet, buts she's quite fast.

Weaknesses::
- Loss of blood: When she gives too much blood in a blood offering she is as weak as a 7 year old. This is probably the weakest state she'll ever be in and therefore the best time to launch a attack on her.
- Dusk and Blast: If you take them from her, she'll do anything to get them back and safe. She'll even beg on her knees to keep them out of harm's way. So If you have them, you control Kyra.
- Starvation: When she goes without food for sometime, she has a problem with being able to send thoughts to others. She can't communicate with other humans while she's in her tiger form. So you just need to starve her and force her to stay in her tiger form, then she won't be able to call for help.

Description::
Human Form:
In her human Form Kyra had long black hair that is usually braided and her eyes are green. They change any shade of green and sometimes gold, but her eyes are mostly green. She wears a just all black shirt with with black jeans that are sort of ripped around the knees. She also has alot of scars from the games the gaurds put her through. There is V shaped scar on her back starting from her left shoulder, going down to her mid-back and going back up to her right shoulder.
Image
Tiger Form:
In her tiger form Kyra looks basically like an average tiger but alot, lot bigger then one. She is so big she can let people ride on her back, but she rarely lets this happen She has the natural orange and black stripes things going with her but if it were to snow, her orange fur color would fade and turn white. Her claws are long and sharp, while her paws are big too. She doesn't show her scars in this form, only in her human form.
Image

Personality:: Kyra is a blunt, truthful and sort of protective person. Once she finds something she likes, she thinks its hers, and hers alone. She is sort of territorial, which shouldn't have been a suprise. She is a tiger after all. She will watch and take care of her own, meaning her own groups of friends only. She would only save a stranger unless her friends asked her too or she just saves them out of instinct. Kyra sometimes gets flashbacks of her past, when she was entirely human and is afraid of spacing out in front of her friends, who she sometimes veiw as family. Although some people wouldn't notice it, Kyra is actually sad, tired and sort of scared on the inside. She hides her emotions well, except for anger though. She tells the truth most of time unless it deals with her past, she will then lie, or ignore whoever asked. Kyra is the kind of person who makes sure her friends okay before her. She has a mantra she tells herself over and over, and it is: "They come first." She especially cares more about Dusk and Blast. She will do anything to keep them safe, and even happy. Think of it this way. Kyra is the mother bear, and Dusk and Blast are her cubs. Yeah you don't want to mess her cubs. She has quite a temper when angered and can cause alot of damage if she wants to. When she sets her mind to something she can be pretty stubborn, too. Just because she looks sort of cute doesn't mean she's an angel, all the time.

Fears::
- Losing her friends: They've gone through everything she's gone through and probably know her better then alot of people. Just because she's a tiger doesn't mean she's heartless. She cares about them just like a mother bear would about her cub. She just doesn't show it that often
- Water: In the Lab she used to be put through these test and some of them involved water. She almost died if it weren't for quick healing process, she would have died. She is okay with a bowl of water or a small stream of water, but a something like a pool or a lake and she will lose it.
- Her past: She is afraid of her nightmares about her past and is afraid to tell her friends about it. When people ask about her past when she was human she will either ignore them or hurt them.

History:: Kyra had a terrible family. They used to beat her, and ignore her. Her family was rich and everything but they were unhappy. Her parents were always with fighting each other, or they were either drunk and beating Kyra. She doesn't have the best childhood memories and therefore does her best to forget about it. When she was very young she used to play the piano, but when she turned five her parents sold her to the scientists at the Lab. She doesn't really remember how her parent met the scientists but she remembers being taken to the Lab. Her first night there was horrible! Her second night was even worse, because that was the night the scientist changed her. They turned her into a Tiger/Human hybrid. So she lived there like that, forgetting about her human life on the outside. Until the scientists started to enhance her speed, reflexes and stregnth did she remember some of her human life. They created her to be the ultimate weapon, or the 2nd ultimate weapon. So she lived the rest of her life there. Most of the times she was thrown into the games, and she was always the one who made it out. That's where she got most of her scars, but some of her scars came from the scientists because of their tests, and their need to make her better. Then she met a person who said he could help her escape and things were never the same. They did escape but... she still doesn't know what is to become of her and her friends.

So begins...

Kyra blinked, as the words entered her head just as she was sucked back into her own body. She didn't how the heck she got into Matt's head and she didn't even know what she did, but she didn't care. Noticing that her body has fallen while she wasn't in it, she picked herself off the aspalt. Shaking out her fur and flexing her claws just to make sure they were still intact she relazed her joints, and rememeber about Sabrie.

Kyra forgot about the car, Matt, and the not right human, as she looked at Sabrie. Bloody roses. Oak leaves. Lavender. All mixed together, Kyra stepped forward and inhaled the scent then walked up to Sabrie and purred. This human is going to be important to the other mutants. Sabrie is important now. Kyra didn't know where the statement came from, but she somehow knew it was right.

The Calico cat appeared from behind Kyra, stared up at Sabrie and sniffed. "You had to choose this one?" He asked as he picked up his paw and started to clean it. "What?" Kyra asked suprised by what he said. Choose? The Calico ignored her qustion, stood and started to rub himself against Sabrie's leg, while talking to her. Kyra doubted Sabrie understood what the Calico was saying to her, but Kyra did. He was saying, "Pet me." She sat down and started to do what the Calico was doing. She wasn't rubbing herself against Sabrie, but purring while leaning her massive head into Sabrie, as if too asking to be petted.

Sabrie watched with pure amusement as she kept her eyes on the tiger. It had to be a dream. Why in the world would a tiger be here in the middle of the city? She completely ignored the people in the car now. She looked over at the guy then back to the tiger. When she watched it step forward, she froze for a moment. What was she suppose to do? As soon as she heard the purring though, she relaxed watching as a Calico cat appeared from behind the tiger. She could have swore the cat and tiger were talking back and forth, but she didn't understand it.

This was impossible, she reached up and pinched herself lightly. "Ouch.." she mumbled softly to herself, her eyes wide. This was real. There was really a tiger right there, right beside her..purring! She knelt down slightly when the Calico started to rub himself against her leg. She knew what that meant. He wanted her to pet him. With a small gently hand, Sabrie petted the cat softly. Then when she felt the tiger lean it's massive head into her, she couldn't help but smile. She reached her and gently stroked it's head and then scratched behind it's ear.

"Well hello there.." She said, finally finding her voice as she looked at the two cats. She was gonna tell this story to her grandkids..if she had grandkids. She could for sure tell her dad but he would just think she was into drugs again..maybe she was high. Who knows.

Kyra kept purring barely noticing when Matt walked over and offering his hand to the Calico. The Calico kept rubbing himself against Sabrie, stopped and looked at the human. Not even looking at his hands, the Calico strode forward and started to rub himself against Matt's knee for awhile but taking off, to some unknown destination. Kyra stopped purring to watch her friend leave. Her ears twitched as she mentally sighed. Every time that cat appeared she kept trying to ask him what his name is, but he keeps eluding her.

Kyra sat down heavily then looked at Sabrie then at Matt as if asking what to do now. She didn't know what to do, now.

The Strange Man
He looked through the glass, and saw the purple force field. It was in the middle of the white room, going from the floor to the ceiling and was about four feet wide. Their recent creation to stop the mutants from spreading. The 'Forcefeild' wasn't just a forcefeild. It was like electric fence that kept out mutants. Any mutant or human that showed the signs of 'Mutantness' or had extra brain power would get just a tiny shock if they put their finger through. Put their entire arm through and their brain shuts down. They go all the way through and their entire body shuts down, with only a one percent chance of surviving. It was also power proof. If the mutant had control of an element, it still didn't matter, the force feild would just reflect their power. He smiled as he thought of his next move now that the weapon was created.

THEY were the chess peices, and he was the game master.

Kyra looked at Sabrie when the blonde girl spoke talking about a dream, circus and then she mentioned her name. Not knowing what she was doing Kyra shifted stood and smiled at Sabrie showing her sharp teeth, "Nice to meet another human." Her first three words sounded odd and strange coming from her, because she had never said them at all to another living being. "I'm...." Kyra cocked her head to the left and frowned. Looking at Matt she asked, "Who am I?" She had forgotten her name. Matt explained what she was but she didn't understand.

Kyra's hands began to shake violently, her breathing becoming labored as she clenched her muscles. Something was wrong. She froze, unmoving, emotionless she tried to push this feeling back. The feeling of being sick, and the urge to vomit. Just stop fighting it. Go to sleep. You'll wake up. I promise., the voice spoke urging her to stop fighting the feeling. Kyra didn't know the voice was bad, she couldn't remember but she did what it said anyways.

Kyra fell to her knees and vomited up blood and some chunks of raw meat. She vomited again and crawled backwards, her vision becoming blurry from the loss of oxygen. Her lungs seemed to stop working. Her blood became hot. Her nose flared but no oxygen came. Black shapes clouded her vision until she went entirely blind. She vomited again. She inhaled but no scents or oxygen came. She couldn't hear. She couldn't see. She could breathe. Breath faster!!! Her mind seemed to be telling her to breath faster, screaming for air she began to cough up some blood just as she let out an earsplitting scream. Noise. Noise. There was nothing but the noise that entered her head abruptly. Their screams. She could hear their pain filled screams. Of the ones she murdered. Her vision came with the image of an air elementalist screaming as he was ripped to shreds. By her. Then more images came, of the ones she killed. Blood. There was so much blood. And screams. She let out another earsplitting scream as she clutched her head trying to make it stop. Screams, images of her vistims flooded her entire being never stopping.

Kyra couldn't take this much but then everything stopped, just froze in place. There were no screams, no bloody images, but a peaceful dream of white emptiness. She had fallen unconcious right after the virus took over. She was asleep and she wouldn't wake up until they wanted her to. Not until she was in his grasp, would she wake. Until then, she would sleep and dream... and remember.

Creepy Man
He stayed seated in his very expensive chair and waited for the message, he'd been waiting for. The short blonde lady typed in some codes into her laptop then looked back at him. "The virus worked. She's asleep, and won't wake until you give the order." He smiled, but the smile didn't reach his eyes as he rubbed his hands together. "Good. Begin the 'Memory
Overload' and send in some mercenaries to retrieve my.... To retrieve the package." He spoke gruffly as he stood and went through his plan again. "Everythings going exactly as planned."

Kyra was reliving the car crash that brought her to the lab. Her parents of course sold her to the lab, but they couldn't just give her to them without having a little fun, now could they? They were drunk, careless and laughing as the car accelerated. Kyra was five when that happened and was sitting in the backseat with her older sister, wide eyes and afraid. Her parents laughed as they took a right turn heading for a bridge, with rushing water flowing wildly beneath the bridge. Then Kyra saw the bright lights flash and then she was jolted. Her parents had gone head on with a large truck with a one of those giant diesel trucks behind it pulling a load of stuff. The outcome was the large truck and car were thrown off the bridge and into the raging water.

The sound of a large waterfall filled her ears. Twisted metal. The smell of burning metal and blood. Kyra was screaming, trying to breathe but the water filled her nose. She struggled against the seat belt and felt her sister along side her. Then she felt large rough hands cut her through her seatbelt using a large jackal knife. They grabbed her and pulled her out of the car. Kyra inhaled air then blinked her eyes and started to quickly lunge for her older sister. The hands held her firmly barely even using alot of energy to hold her back and drag her away. "Katie!!!!" She screamed her older sister's name as she was dragged away just as red and blue flashing lights appeared on the bridge.

Hero
Hero was ... 'Ordered' to retrieve the package the creepy old man wanted him to do. Well ordered wasn't the word he would use. They had to practically beg him to take this... mission. They couldn't control him, mostly because he had something they didn't have. Freedom and Self-confidence. Well he was a dangerous guy and could have easily decapitated them with his knife, but he took it anyone. Now here he was driving toward the location the 'Package' was at. Easing his black convertable up to the curve he looked out his black tinted windows to them. A blonde haired girl. The mutant named Matt. "Bingo." He whispered softly as he spotted Kyra on the floor, in her human form. Picking up his cell phone and dialed 911. "Yes, I have an unconcious girl lying in the middle of the road. It looks like some guy stabbed her. No. I'm in my car watching. Theres blood on the ground and she's passed out. Yes, I'll wait." He hung up and stayed put until the ambulane showed followed by a police car.

Kishan
Kishan watched the scene unfold. Matt had just used his shadows to conceal him and the human girl that had been with them. Then the ambulance people came out did some things to Kyra like checking her pulse and other stuff, but when they put her in the back of the ambulance, he stepped out of his car and stalked over to the back of the door quickly. He yanked the metal door off it's hinges, dragged some lady out of the back and through her harshly into the pavement. He heard a loud thud and some cracking, he approved of the sounds and dashed to the front of the truck. Opening the driver's door he pulled the guy out by his shirt and practically shoved him at the two suprised police officers. He heard some shots rang out, but they were just missed fires. Walking very quickly to the back of the ambulance he jumped in and jumped out holding the unconcious Kyra to his chest.

Not even bothering to look at the spot where Matt and Sabrie had vanished at, he moved directly to his car. He opened the door as he held Kyra with one hand, and then leaned in placing Kyra in the passenger's seat. He jumped, started the car and drove the heck out of there as if his tail were on fire.

Kishan was on the dirt road to his... house... Well he didn't live in a house but a Mansion where the creepy man would show up at later. He didn't want to see the creepy man or do his dirty work but how could he have turned this mission down, when the mission included seeing his best friend again. He glanced at Kyra as he turned a corner. She looked peaceful and almost human, but he knew better. Underneath her human disguise was a tiger waiting to be released to kill and destroy... and even love? He looked back at the road, cursed, and quickly changed the direction of the car, missing a tree by an inch or two. He looked back at Kyra, shook his head and shut the car off, parking in front of his mansion.

Kyra
Kyra watched the accident over again, but this time from outside her body. It was terrible to watch her terrible life lead to being captured by one of the Lab's mutants. She put up a fight of course, hitting the stranger with her tiny fists and biting him when she could, but he didn't hesitate until he dragged her into the forest, near a road he set her down and shook her, telling her to stop fighting.

"Stop! Your sister's dead, alright? Your parents didn't love you, either. You should be glad to be leaving them behind!" Kyra looked up and whimpered. The man was huge, and menacing. There was a scar that started from an inch above his left brow, cutting through his green eye. It crossed his cheek, cut through the side of his lip and ended just an inch further. He had cropped hair that looked a brownish blonde and he wore some sort of belt that held his jackal knife. She eyed it. He saw her looking and shook his head.

"If you want to die and see your sister again, then you should stand in front of that road and wait. The vehicle won't see you until the last minute and by then it'll be too late for them to stop." The strange looked at the road just as two white lights approached. Kyra understood him even though she was young, she took a step forward but stopped, turned and hung her head. "Good. Now lets go." The man in front of her changed.... into a tiger? His fur was a dark orange and the stripes were thinner then usual too. He stood and was... way, way, way bigger then her. She touched his fur and giggled acting as if her sister didn't just drown two minutes ago.

Kishan
Kishan whistled a tune as he opened the passenger door, picked up Kyra and carried her into his house. When he entered his house he didn't expect the Creepy Man to be there... waiting for the arrival of the package. The creepy man was sitting in the library which was where Kishan headed following the scent of cigars and other things. He gritted his teeth, practically tightening his grip on Kyra, who let out a moan in return of the harsh handling. Relaxing his hold, as he tried to calm himelf, to stop himself from hurting the creepy man who could easily dig in his pocket, press a button and Kyra would be dead. He couldn't allow his best friend to die even by her own father. He stepped in the library.

"Kishan... Set her down, and let me take a look at her." The creepy man stood, strode over and pointed at the sofa. Kishan set Kyra down gently only because of wanting his hands free to strangle to creepy man to death... in his imagination not for real. It was sad to visualize such a thing when the real thing was in front of you. Kishan was bored, angry, and silent, trying not to insult the man who could kill him and Kyra pressing only a button. "She's... asleep." The creepy man raised his eyesbrows, then dug in his pocket, pulled out a remote and pressed some buttons. "She should be awake in a second or two.... You'll need to... twist her memories... Remember I can't be around when that happens. So the papers on the counters of... our version of her memories..."

Kishan listened with half an ear, completely focused on Kyra for the moment. He didn't even notice when the creepy man left.

Kyra
Kyra felt the pull of... something. She opened her eyes. The light was blinding but only for a moment as she sat up observing her surroundings, including Kishan who was staring at her weird. It freaked her out but she shook it and growled, "Where am I?" "Six? Number six don't you remember me? I'm Kishan... remember? Your... friend." Kishan replied, way too quickly. Kyra blinked, as she stood without thinking moved in front of Kishan and punched him right in the jaw using the entire force of her right arm. Kishan staggered for a moment, then grinned at Kyra. "You do remember... Well remember even though you don't remember." Kyra shook her head confused.

The Calico Cat
The Calico cat was called many things but he was content with just being called Calico or Biluata. He could clearly see Matt and Sabrie, which made him meow as he walked right into the shadows flaunting right up to Sabrie's knee. He started to rub himself against her as he purred. "The goddess, Kyra." He meowed. "Is in the, woods. With her..... friend. I can lead you to her... If you pet me." He said the words clearly to Sabrie, knowing the curse should be working now and that the human would understand. Plus, he knew Kyra stuffed the cat language into Sabrie's head before getting sick.

The Calico Cat
The Calico cat puffed up, and half hissed, half meowed at the arriving stranger, named Camelion. That human wasn't a good human, darkness followed him like a cloak and it's wasn't the good darkness like Matt's shadows. He let out another hiss and raised his tail forward like a scorpion raising it's tail to defend itself. His ears laid back he spat at the trouble maker in disguise. "Not a good human. Don't trusssst, him. Follow meee... Run!" The cat spoke to Sabrie before taking off for the trees running from the shadows thinking Sabrie and Matt were following.

Kyra
Kyra licked her lips then looked around again, looking for a way out here. There was something familiar about Kishan, and there was also a feeling of... anger at Kishan. She didn't know what he did but she was angry at him. She couldn't remember so she was just going to do as he says. It was also sort of a relief to meet someone who knew about her past. She wondered if Kishan knew Matt or Sabrie, but she snapped to attention as Kishan cocked his left to his head and stared into her eyes, as if searching for something. Then she felt a cool then warm sensation in her mind as Kishan's eyes locked on her eyes again.... Then she felt it: A twisting and ripping feeling in her head. She didn't know what happened but she was mad now.

Kishan
Kishan stared into Kyra's natural blue eyes as he started to work his magic. He probed her mind for hidden feelings, thought and instincts that he could use against her. He went through her head again and... Bingo! He knew Kyra was angry and mad at the white coats, and the world but he didn't know she was that angry. He jumped at the hidden emotion and twisted it into anger at the other mutant, not the white coats. He ripped her anger apart and multiplied the peices, encouraging it to grow and build like wild fire. It didn't take long and then he broke eye contact and saw the outcome.

Kyra
Kyra growled, as Kishan started speaking quickly, not wanting to get clawed to death. "The mutants you were with... Matt, Dusk, Amp and Nudge, every mutant that you were with are all liars. They're the bad people, and they're trying to destroy our... friends." She shook her head then her nails became claws as she felt the ripping sensation in her head again. Than she remembered all the mutants she had been in contact with in the last 42 hours. Their faces went through her mind and she knew they were responsible for her... amnesia. In return she would destroy them. Crush them to peices and throw the peices into the ocean and watch as the sharks devoured every particle of them. Angry, she bared her teeth and shifted into her tiger form snarling and roaring at nothing in sight. She was coming up with ideas on how to slowly, painfully make every one of the those liars pay for erasing her memory and trying to hurt her friends.

Kishan
Kishan hid a smile as Kyra fell for the mixed up memories and feelings. She had run right into his hands and it was easier then before. He knew this was too fast for her, so he took it slow and started re-shape her memories and emotions, forming them into what he was asked to do. He made memories of the white coats friendly and relaxing, while making memories of spending time with her friends horrible and terrifying. He just switched the feeling of the situations do as he pleased. He stared into her icey blue tiger eyes and kept switching her memories and feelings around, and bringing out the destructive beast that she kept hidden all the time, to the surface.

The Calico Cat
The Calico cat turned and hid behind one of the bushes. His eyes were wide and his fur was still standing on edge as he waited for the humans to follow. He saw Matt get hurt and growled. His ears flexed backwards as he sat down, waiting for Sabrie to notice the wounded human. He was their guide not their healer and so he would wait until they realized whats happened. He also needed to tell Sabrie that they needed a vehicles to take them to their destination. You need to hurry, time is running out. He looked up at the skies and nodded. Remember they need to choose.... which path... they take. The voice in his head went on, pausing between words then faded. He looked at Sabrie and meowed.

Kishan
Kishan sighed as he watched Kyra fall over. He did that sometimes, use his power for too long on another mind and they would fall unconscious as they started to tolerate their messed up mind. He was also hungry from the loss of energy, which was lost in the process of.... twisting Kyra's memory around. He walked into the kitchen, peered inside his frigerator and snorted. "Humans and their tastless food."
Kishan stalked outside, his movements becoming more fluid and... predatory like. His eyes brightened as he shifted, into a white tiger bigger then Kyra. His sneezed and took off into the forest following an unseen trail to his usual hunting grounds where deer were plentiful for the entire spring going to summer time. During winter he usually had to go higher into the mountians to find food, which was his favorite time of the year. He stopped and waited when he didn't spot any deer in the feild.

The Calico Cat
He saw Matt run off with Ash and growled as Sabrie and Kinarie joined him in his hiding place. "There is a path. It goes straight to the mountion. Follow it. It leads to the house. Kyra and... friend are there. Caution. Follow it." With that he shot out of the bushs sprinting after Matt and Ash. He was going to claw his eyes out for running off. They chose this path. Guide them. He glanced up and nearly tripped which made him angry. Cats didn't trip and they weren't supposed to be running after humans. He didn't even want to be running. Why!? Why couldn't they just do as they were told? He stopped, meowed then sat down and just merely looked up. With an angry meow his eyes shimmered then he faded.

Kishan
Kishan trudged into the house, still in his tiger form, he yawned then closed his mouth with a loud snap. There was no blood on him but you could tell he had fed from the way his stomach bulged a little. He sniffed as he thought of the large buck he had hunted down. It wasn't quite a beauty from all the scars it had but it was food and it gave Kishan some more energy to do some more memory twisting. He glanced at the couch. Then again he could just fall asleep and do that later. He thought it over for a second then decided to just lounge around for awhile which of course would lead to falling asleep for about... six hours. Careful not rip the expensive leather material he stepped onto the couch and lied down, resting his head on the black pillow. With a hmmruppff he was out.

Kyra
Kyra blinked. She had watched the white tiger fall asleep on the black leather couch and she was staring down at him now. He was huge! Taking up all the room on the couch and was using a giant pillow that was the exactly the same size as his head. She blinked again then inhaled. There was the scent of deer flesh on him but not a drop of blood on him. There was also a faint smell of blood on him. Licking her teeth, not even realizing she was five inches smaller then Kishan she walked out the open sliding doors. She wasn't angry anymore mostly because there wasn't a mutant in sight she headed in the direction of the town. Something was driving her that way but she didn't know what. She just knew she needed to get there, to see something. A feeling of wrongness filled her as she thought of seeking out the mutants and killing them. She shook it off and then she smelt him. The creepy man. He was behind her. She looked around then focused on him.

"Tch, Tch, Tch. You should know better Krista. You can't leave without it." The creepy man was holding a giant thick white collar. Inbedded on its side were real diamonds that looked like spikes, and they looked very sharp. She hesitated but shifted into her human form and took a step forward. Before she could reach out for it, a voice spoke out from behind the creepy man. "Hold it." Kishan walked out of the house staggering a little bit.

"I thought... You said she wouldn't be ready for her first mission until we were sure the.... Twists in her head would hold." Kishan spoke carefully with his eyes on Kyra. The creepy man grimaced then glared. "She clearly looks fine. She should be able to deal with those.... ruffians within 24 hours. Unlike you who was spending his time lazying about when you should be helping her take them out!" The creepy man was yelling now and it hurt Kyra's ears. "I'm not your pet!" Kishan yelled looking like he was seconds from shifting. Kyra wanted to leave and fight something and she wasn't going to let them argue about it.

"I'm fine. I can... deal with these... R-ruffians." Kyra spoke a little unsure about talking. Kishan looked at her, his face clear of any emotions now. The creepy man stepped forward and then put the collar around her neck. She pulled back as soon as she heard it snap shut. "You know their names and what they look like. Destroy them." Kyra turned ready to race off when the creepy man halted her. "Hold it. Here." He held something out again. It was a jackal knife. She knew what it was and who used to own it. She grabbed it and then shifteded. The knife would be in her hands when she phased back so she didn't worry about it.

The collar on her neck didn't feel right in her tiger form but she ignored it as she raced toward the town. She was using the path that the Calico had told Sabrie about. Of course she didn't know about that so she kept running, nothing but a blur.

Kyra
Kyra wasn't lost. She remembered how to read now, how the sun was to the east which of course meant she remembered her directions. Yet, she felt lost even though she was still on the trail leading her to town. It wasn't the feeling you got when you got lost in the woods or got lost in a crowd. It was the feeling of not knowing who you were. She knew her name was Krista. The creepy man had called her Krista, or did he? Or was it Kishan who had said her name was Krista? She growled angrily and just settled herself by thinking the Creepy man was the one who named her. It didn't feel right though. A twig snapped beneath her feet and she instinctively stopped dropping into a crouch waiting for an attack. Of course, no attack came so she snorted for not being vigiliant during her moment of thinking. Pushing the 'Lost' feeling to the back of her head she concentrated on her surroundings. She realized she was about five miles away from the town. She growled thinking she was probably going senile or crazy for not being able to hear all the racket... and the stench of the roads, vehicles, and the humans. How could humans live with the horrible smells of oil and gas coming from their vehicles? They don't, she thought to herself remembering humans were weak physcally, and mentally. She stopped sprinting and settled for walking instead toward the town.

Kyra
Kyra was in her human form. She had slipped her human face on when she left the forest trailing a scent coming from a mutant. She had smelt Sabrie and Kinarie a mile away so of course she had changed her route to avoid running into them and had found this new scent. It smelt... Insect-like? It didn't smell like a normal human either. It just didn't smell right, but it was a mutant and her mission was to destroy all mutants right? So she just went along with the scent trail hoping she'd get to sink her claws into some flesh soon.

Kyra stuck to the shadows doing her absolute best to stay out of sight. It was easy mostly because the humans didn't bother to really look in the shadows for they held no intrest in seeing someone... wait.... no, something that was different. More then they are. More powerful. More everything. Her blue eyes fleshing green for a moment when she smelt a familiar but somewhat unfamiliar scent. Within a second, her eyes were blue again as she crossed a street and turned to her right to see the mutant. It was a giant... Spider? She blinked once, then twice and finally got it into her head that it was some sort of bug with a human face. It was hanging onto a metal stair case with a normal human hanging on somewhat above it. She bit back the need to shift in the middle of the day. The humans weren't that stupid and would notice a bigger then average tiger running around in their town.

Kyra pushed the feeling back a bit as she rushed forward then leaped onto the railing unaware of its unstable condition. Climbing on the outside of the railing, she went up going as fast as she dared to. The metal didn't feel right in her hands but she was part cat so she was a good climber on most surfaces. The thought of shifting was so close but what good would it do her if she had paws and a tail instead of the hands she needed? Muttering some very bad words she didn't know she knew about she quickly passed the human faced bug and jumped onto the stairs in front of the human. Growling and her blue eyes turning golden she grabbed his forearm and practically carried him up the stairs. She was too busy to see her nails become claws and her normal human teeth turning into some very sharp fangs but she dragged the human away from the bug creature.

The scorpion siameses turned over the wall, slanting their angle to face the human, though their legs were still somewhat shaky and prune to fail if they did one wrong move. The only exposed chest rose and fell along with the heavy, interrupted breathing from the heads; the left side, even with the black carapace, bled as did the naked skin on their shoulders and near their trapezius.

The beast was exhausted and losing his breath quicker by the second. The nausea had gotten worse, as had their light-headedness. Both the creak from the staircase and the gunshot made them snap just like a whip did on a wild horse, and they rushed to try and ambush the human only to receive a nasty hit against their faces when the fire escape suddenly started to twist and detach from the wall, and as they were trying to reach for the man with their pincers, one of them got helplessly stuck between the gaps on the rails.
To no effect, the experiment tried to pull it back and free his limb from the metal balusters, growing more desperate as the hard carapace clanged against the rusty metal of the fire escape.

Splitface was so worried about both catching the human and his freeing his trapped pincer, that the arrival of a completely random girl caught them, obviously, off-guard.
She was trying to steal THEIR prey?! Shameless! Dishonorable!
They would not let her!

With a horrible snarl, the beast slashed his two, bloodstained left arms at the man, just brushing at his foot with an abnormally long forefinger before the stranger snatched him away from them. Enraged, the siameses' fusioned faces distorted further the more upset they became, and their disgusting small mouthparts were already poking out from between their human teeth and peeking out of their melded lips.
In a fit of mindless anger, the claw's movements became more violent as the mutant tried turn it over and over, yet as this didn't work, the rest of the arachnids long dark body hung itself from bellow the metal step, arms hooked around the bars to allow them to pull with more force without being in a direct diagonal line.

In a response to the darting of the bipeds above, and the added weight of the large monster a few feet bellow, the set of old stairs, already rusty and weak, grated more loudly as its very foundations snapped away from the brick-made wall, faster, with each passing second; it would resist them no further, now.

Vas flailed in surprise when a girl suddenly grabbed him and pulled away from her grasp, snarling in Russian. The hell was she doing? She was making the whole situation worse! The stairs creaked further, and Vas clinged deperately to the rails, but it was no use scrambling to the top, even! The whole thing was loose and would crash down at any moment.

"What are you doing, you idiot girl? You'll kill us both!" he snapped, panic running wild in his blue eyes.

He went to punch the girl in the face, although his aim was awkward from trying to keep his balance enough to try and land safely when the construction did inevitably collapse on the man, and two mutants. The thing screeched awfully as it finally pulled back from the wall, rusty struts breaking in areas, and fell. There was no time for the Russian sniper to prepare himself and jump, or even try to land safely. A sharp piece of metal raked his side deep, and his head slammed against the floor. Vasiliy's arm lay at an awkward angle, white bone protruding sickeningly through flesh, and he lay unconsious and unmoving. His submachinegun had fallen from his hand and he looked pale and grey as a dead fish.

-Jarek-

Making a point to completely ignore Camelion and his arrogant attitude, Jarek just listened carefully to Caine. He smiled and nodded.

"Yes, sir."

He skulked off into an unused corridor and slipped between this plane and whatever it was that allowed him to become a huge reptile. The figure of Jarek flickered and disappeared - the man was all but invisible, unless someone walked into him or heard him. He slid silently down a corridor, still human-formed but unseen. Using his common sense, he went to find the boys he'd been assigned to get.

Kyra was trying to get them to the top so they could jump off with little chance of getting hurt, but the human wouldn't let her pull him. She snarled at him before the stairs could fully land on the ground, "You stupid human!" Then with those last word she jumped off the railing heading toward the incoming ground. The stairs were falling ready to crush, but she landed on her then rolled forward avoiding the falling stairs. She heard the loud groaning sound that came from the still shaking peice of metal. Growling she got to her feet with only a few scraps and bruises that were already fading then searched the fallen wreckage for Vas.

Kyra found him after a minute of standing around and smelling the air. She moved around the wreckage to get closer then finally got sight of his broken limb. Making a sound that sounded like a sneeze, she lifted the metal stairs a little and dragged him out from underneath the peice of metal. "Oh, I don't even know why I'm saving your mangy hide." She could heal him later while taking him away from here, but right now he needed to be healed and the big creature had to be dealt with.

Kyra bit the inside of her wrist watched as the blood practically poured out. Using her left hand she opened his mouth then stuffed her wrist inside his mouth. She watched and waited. The bone was going to take a few hours to heal but she was going to quicken that up. When her wrist stopped bleeding she pushed his bone back into place. Then reopening her bitemark on her wrist she put it back in his mouth. The skin healed around the wound but she would probably have to give him another dosage later for the bone to entirely heal.

Kyra stood then dragged him farther away from the where the bug was.

Little was what the failed mutant could've done to avoid the fall. The flailing of their three hands against the rail's iron bars had eventually bent it enough to remove their black claw, but when they turned their eyes, the only thing they saw was a glimpse of the reddish rust from the staircase as their back stamped harshly against the floor and on top of them, fell large and heavy fragments of the destroyed old fire escape.

The metal had trapped them where they lay sprawled; the large scorpion half caught under the ruins, technically imprisoned by the fallen handrail and supports as the human one was being squeezed between the floor and the heavy metal that scratched against their veiny, exposed skin. Their remaining three arms were either folded under their twisted torso, or under more debris; though the fragment of a right arm had stopped bleeding, and a gruesome, thick dark red crust of dried blood covered the bicep in place of the wound and exposed bone.

A low whine escaped the double-faced beast as when their eyes opened, the blurry images they were taking in spun and dazed them uncontrollably.
With a disgusting gurgle and violent contractions of their only visible abdomen, the right face of the monster curled his lips as it coughed violently, and finally opened his mouth to throw out a yellowish brown liquid, viscous and sticky; bile from their empty stomachs.
With the little energy they had left, they tried in vain to crawl out and push themselves with their fit arms, only to feel the pain of the fall and their bullet wounds biting into their nerves.

The heads settled over the cement floor with excessive exhaustion, eyelids hooding the siamese's dark-colored eyes even as they insisted on glaring holes on the female's head; resenting her idiotic intrusion deeply.
But the bittersweet unconsciousness was already dragging them, forcing them to give up their futile grip on their dimmed senses and in the horrible pain that plagued each nerve, bone and carapaced muscle the conjoined siameses had.

Soon, each of the face's expression of burning wrath and agony softened while the several pairs of eyes closed, the damp sounds dulled and the brute's legs, tail and claws dropped along with their hefty weight.
And there they stayed, immobile and hurt. Back to where they started; between urban remnants and wreckage.

Kyra

Kyra growled uncercaintly. She had 'rescued' a human but he was hurt and unconcious. She needed to get back to the insect bug to see if it was still there or not, but she didn't know what to do. She had dragged him about a block away from the scene of the fallen emergency stairs. They were now in an alley with Vasily on the ground facing up and she couldn't help but notice that there was two dumpsters in the alley with them. She looked down at Vasily then glanced at one of the dumpsters. She could try putting him in there until she was down investigating the scene of the crime. I'm such an idiot! She thought to herself as she cursed before starting to pace again.

Why wasn't he waking up! Kyra thoughts were tangled and it was bad enough she felt lost but to be confused about whether or not to make sure a human is alive? A normal human? She should have left him behind on the stairs and waited for the bug creature to consume him! That would have been alot easier, she thought. Then without knowing she said it outloud she spoke, "That would have been a hell lot easier." Making a noise that was a mix between a growl and hmrumpf she looked down at Vasily. She couldn't help it.

"Wake up. Normal human. Wake up! Hey? Wake up sleephead..." Kyra wrinkled her nose as she realized she has spoken a new word. Sleepyhead. Shaking her head she got back to the task on hand. Sighing, she just angled Vasily's face pointing exactly then... Using her human hand that had now claws right now, she slapped him. It wasn't a jaw shattering slap but more like one that was meant to stun or shock. "Hey! Wake up!"

Kyra
Kyra growled angrily. Why wasn't the human waking up!? She slapped him, but he's still unconsious. What did she have to do? Slap him harder? Drool on him? She froze, kneeling over Vas, she decided to slap him again and if he didn't wake, then it would be his fault she drooled on him. He couldn't blame her then, could he? Ack, so many qustions and thoughts were forming in her head. It was becoming very annoying. Moving his head back into the correct position, which was just facing straight up she snickered silently, then she slapped him again. Although she did use a bit more force then before.

Kyra sighed, and waited... and waited... and waited... "Oh, come on!" She practically roared the words out. "Wake the hell up!" She shut her mouth with a snap thinking Vas would wake, but when he didn't.... She scooted a bit closer then opened her mouth over Vas's face then.... The saliva hung from her lips dangling just above Vas's cheek... Almost about to fall and land with a splat on his cheek...

Jarek peered out of the window of the van he was in, whining constantly and lowly, wanting to be near Caine. He didn't like the look of this sudden swarn of police officers and kept a close eye on them. It seemed, however, that his master had some kind of plan, so he relaxed a little. Envy bubbled inside of him when he realised that Camelion was closer to Caine and possibly more useful to him. With a keening noise, he ran his fingers through his hair and slumped in his seat, shooting at glare at the two unconscious boys. Maybe he should have stayed at the Lab, after all. He never liked his second owner, but he missed Kowalski. He'd pined hopelessly for months after he'd died even when he should have been working efficiently. Truth be told, he still missed Gabriel Kowalski and mourned the loss of his master. The man had taught him to read and write, speak properly, let him study and become intelligent, trained him in torture... everything. And he'd died in a carcrash when Jarek was 21. He blamed himself, even though his rational side knew there was no way to prevent a carcrash.

But right now, he felt wretchedly lonely and inadequate. It wasn't a feeling the man was used to. He was letting his mind rush ahead of him. Truthfully, it was strange for him to experience any strong emotions at all. He might have seemed gleeful at times, but what counted as ecstatic for him was simple happiness for another. It wasn't something he could help, as such, just a symptom of sociopathy. Despite his sociopathic human mind, the strange servile urges of his bestial mind added another depth to his emotions. Although he did not feel sympathy (and was completely unable to empathise), he was able to be loyal and certainly understood fealty. He was sure it was his mutant side that was forcing these feelings of defectiveness upon him. He'd just have to work hard and offer himself up for other jobs, maybe translation. He'd bet that Camelion wouldn't be able to speak Polish, Russian, Arabic, French and Urdu. In his free time, Jarek sat with his nose in language books, mainly. He'd spent time speaking to the foreign mutants and workers at the Lab as well, and it'd paid off. He was only fluent in three (including English), but he realised it was a useful skill which was often in demand.

-Vasiliy-

A sudden pain swept through the man's head and his eyes flicked open. The intense flare that spread through his arm when he tried to move it was unbearable and he gritted his teeth and let out a moan of pain. Carefully looking over (even his eyes hurt), he saw bright white bone piercing flesh and felt sick to the pit of his stomach. And the girl was leant over him. The damn girl.

"You," he hissed. "You ruined my fucking arm as well as everything else?"

His eyes were bloodshot, skin pallid and greying. He attempted to sit, but let out another hopeless groan. His head throbbed relentlessly and he swore in his mother tongue. He prayed he hadn't fractured his skull.

"Why haven't you called a goddamn ambulance, you idiot? Here, use my phone."

With his good hand he groped around in his jacket pocket for his mobile phone, hand shaking as he turned it on. Thank fuck it wasn't broken. His head swam as he peered at the keypad and he tossed the phone towards Kyra. Trying to relax once more, he sighed and closed his eyes. He supposed, however, that he ought to ask after the girl's condition.

"You aren't hurt, are you?"

-Sergei-

Sergei sighed as the commanding guard rushed past with no regard for him. The short man glowered and folded his arms, sniffing haughtily. He'd make his own way to wherever they were going, and if their employers didn't want him, he'd have to sort something else instead. Turning tail, he strode off with a determined and yet somewhat wounded air. The carpark was swarming with people now and he sighed irritably. However, the copper scent of blood filled his sensitive nose and he sniffed appreciatively, turning to find the source. A young man. Now this was interesting... his eye was mechanical. He'd seen some things like this before, but not staggering around, lost. One of his creator's workmates had augmentations and bio-mechanics, but he was nothing like this.

He headed over to the young man, stomach growling hungrily.

"You'll get in trouble walking around here looking like that," he said softly, standing behind him. "I can help you out if you do me a favour, though, I'm hungry."
