Personality:
To say Zared is an odd case would be the understatement of the year. Heâs not quite all there in the headâŠif you get what I mean. I donât mean heâs slow or anything like that. No, more along the lines ofâŠmentally unstable. Yeah, thatâs a perfect way of describing him. He has a bit of a disposition and morals mean nothing to him. He does things only for the pure enjoyment it brings him to do them. For the excitement and the laugh. In that case, what makes him laugh tends to be the sight of others being hurt or in pain and the amusement of bugging the everliving crap out of others. He does things just to see others frustrated, poking and prodding at their every nerve; the harder the case, the better. He loves breaking people down, making the strongest break out into sobs. At the same time, he doesnât completely understand these things known as emotions or why people are they way they are or react the way they do to certain things, as he doesnât react to things the way ânormalâ people would, so he likes to experiment.
The way Zared experiences things, as mentioned, is a little different than others. If someone close to him dies or gets harmed, he wonât cry or go into grieving; in fact, heâll merely think that theyâre playing or sleeping and leave them beâonly for days later to complain that that person has been ignoring him. When he gets hurt, he doesnât get angry; in fact, he flips out completely. Instead of acting on it and attacking whoever harmed him, if any blood is drawn, heâll try to wipe it off and start freaking out over itâeven the slightest pin-pricks makes him think heâs dying. That said, he over-reacts way too easily over things, balancing between one extreme emotion to another (changing between these within seconds). He can be excruciatingly happy one minute and sobbing uncontrollably the next, then ready to rip someoneâs head off.
Although Zared enjoys picking at people and scaring them to mess with their emotions for his enjoyment and curiosity purposes, he doesnât like to be alone. Sometimes, heâll try to be nice and make friends, but because of his strange mix-matched, unstable personality, people are usually turned off by him. This will frustrate him to no end. When he does find someone he likes, he becomes quite clingy and will follow them everywhereâeven if theyâre just a random stranger who will threaten him with restraining orders (personal space means nothing to him). Some people feel bad for him though because of his childish looks and occasionally childish way of acting. Heâs just a psychopath who likes to make himself laughânothing wrong with that, is there?
Uniform:
Zaredâs outfit is something thatâs hard to miss. He made it himself. Itâs a short-sleeved shirt that is literately just made out of pieces of random clothâall different colors with the unpatterned stitching made obvious. His pants are black with random pieces/colors of cloth stitched to it in random areas. He wears a simple black mask made of cloth, however.
Power:
âDonât want to underestimate me, do you?â
Zaredâs powers are connected to the little puppets he likes to carry around. He makes his own puppets and they vary often; from sock puppets to puppets on strings. He takes great care of these puppets, as if they were made of more than mere ceramic. They always look so real. âŠThatâs because they kind of are. See, he has the power to make inanimate objects come to life and serve him, like slaves. His powers only work strictly on the puppets or dolls he uses, however, and not on things like rocks or anything else like that. He rarely fights on his own and usually has his âpuppetsâ as he calls them fight for him. The puppets, under his control, will go from being lifeless dolls or socks to life-sized creatures. The puppets act like zombiesâthey donât talk, they canât feel emotions, and they only do as Zared commands (they donât listen to anyone else). Thereâs a difference between each type of puppet he uses.
Sock puppets do not bleed; instead, when they get cut or stabbed or shot, stuffing comes out. Dolls, or the puppets he has on the strings, are made out of porcelain and break pretty easily. Once a doll of his breaks, he usually never bothers fixing them, so the only reoccurring puppets thatâll be seen are his sock puppets that he takes with him after a fight and sews/fixes up. The sock puppets tear just like cloth, but since they canât feel, to stop them, theyâd have to have each of their limbs cut off. This really isnât all that hard and Zared usually only uses two puppets tops per fight. Meanwhile, while his puppets are fighting for him, heâs laughing it up in the background and shouting usually ridiculous orders at them to attack (but mostly just annoy) the enemy.
Side:
âWhy in the world would I restrict myself to the law?â
Evil
Other:
When Zared likes someone, heâll go to the extremes of stalking them. Heâs even been known to sneak in their rooms and watch them sleep at night. If they accept him or give him something heâs interested in, then he might leave them alone, but if they reject him violently, heâll kill them.
Zared gets lonely often so he can usually be seen talking to his puppets, whether theyâre just puppets or if theyâre his actual life-sized creations. Itâs unknown whether he realizes theyâre not real or not.
