Description

Image

Name: Amaris Mingan

Age: 23

Personality: She's rather closed off to others, not really caring to get to know much about them or to let them know much about her. She will help others, though she hates when anyone tries to help her, believing she can take care of everything herself. She can be rather talkative, if the time calls for it, but she tends to not talk in excessive amounts unless someone else has started up a conversation. She's not afraid to tell you exactly how she feels towards you or anything for that matter, seeing as she's not really one to spare others feelings.

Vocation: Knight

Race: Werewolf

Height: 5'10

Weight: 142lbs

Scars/Tattoos/Piercings: Both earlobes are pierced, though, her right ear has two other piercings along the cartilage.

History: Amaris had a rocky childhood, raised in a noble family of Maliusya, where she was pampered and taken care of and groomed to be married off to a rich noble to further her families wealth and power. This was not to be Amaris was a strong willed child showing kindness to others, but not out of her heart, but out of a natural strive towards something better. Her mother, a woman who wasn't of noble birth but was married into it, believed in her daughter and wanted her to strive to be someone she wanted to be. There in led the young Amaris to her destiny. When she came of age She strode up to her father and demanded to become a Knight and take all the formal training as well. Her father was angered by this decision and would not allow it, suitors already lining up at the families residence to take her hand. She would have none of it taking her father's priced sword she left her home never to return; though before she had a chance to leave she was stopped by her mother, who wished her luck on her journey of self-discovery, and asked her to return at some point. Then Amaris had left.

With no real knowledge of the world and it's surroundings she wasn't able to go far, soon having to return home and face her father; where as she was given the chance to prove herself a capable woman with a sword and join the knighthood. With this chance she was able to prove to her father, though without proper training she had the drive the fire to take her far beyond that of a mere knight. Her father agreed and it was off to train for the next seven years of her life, but it was not to be this easy.

Her life as a knight was a hard one; men hitting on her, lusting after her, she had to defend herself constantly, making her more drawn in and reclusive, not trusting anyone, and not getting close enough to actually care. Here her outlook on the world began to change, and though she still strived to better the world, she herself felt drawn away from it and fearful for the future. Seven years have passed and her strive has dulled ever so slightly, and her reclusiveness has grown, but she had made it; her dream, her fire never gone; here she stood a full fledged knight and ready to prove her mettle to her father, and to her enemies.

Equipment: A Khopesh that she takes with her everywhere she goes.

She figured she should be more concerned about the problems that were going on with the mass majority of people at the time being; but for the moment, it was focused on the fact that she had a few guards with her to head over to his dwelling. She wasn't too fond on the idea of taking others with her, seeing as she knew she could handle it herself, she didn't feel the need to find help from anyone but herself. Though, she had figured it may have seemed a bit odd to be doing such a thing on her own, seeing as it was for her own reasons after all.

She gave the guards going with her a short glance, sighing inardly at the fact that they would be tagging along with her. She turned her gaze away from them as she began to move, she figured that they would, possibly, be smart and notice that she was moving along; with or without them, if they by chance didn't seem to catch on. Unfortunatly for her, they had noticed, she could hear them moving behind her.

Their voices came in rather quietly, as if they were attempting to keep their conversations to themselves, which she found slightly humerous. Considering that she doubted anything they would be talkign about would interest her at all anyways. Though, the fact that they had begun to speak of why they were actually going after 'The Silver Shadow', as they seemed to call him, made her look back at them. "Speaking of it will not get us there any faster," she said before looking back ahead of her, their voices dying down to almost nothing now.

Upon arrival, one of them questioned what exactly they were to do, causing a small sigh to escape from her lips as she turned some to look at them. "I don't expect too much from the likes of you few, so, I suppose not messing it up would be what you should do," she said to them in a rather plain tone of voice. She figured that he would be there, most likely having just stolen something, or planning on stealing something. Either way, it didn't really matter to her.

"As if we would leave simply because you wish us to," she said to him, the slightest bit of amusement in her voice. Though, before she could speak further on the matter, her attention snapped to Sage as his voice came up and he let himself be noticed. She watched him as he spoke to Soki about him bringing the male to a stop. Her eyes narrowed the slightest bit as he asked something about him coming along with him peacefully; her hearing not really catching every word, though she knew she didn't like what he was saying.

She almost scoffed at him as she looked away from him an spoke once more. "Now, why don't you leave this to the one who spoke first," she said to him, "you are not needed here." "These others aren't even needed," she thought to herself. The guards she had brought along with her seemed to have been paying attention to Sage far more than her, seeing as she had to give them a rather dark glare for them to snap their attention back to the reason they had even come along. All of them ready to attack at given notice now, a small smirk placing itself on her lips. "Troublesome, others attempting to come around and ruin my work," she mumbled under her breath as she threw one last glance to Sage, hoping he would be on his own way now.

As Soki was lifted into the air, her first thoughts went to taking the moment to her advantage and just ending him then and there. Unfortunately for her, another person seemed to join the little party. She let out a sigh as she looked to the person had come up, namely because she found it rather odd that he had begun to clap slowly as he let himself be known. "What is this, a show," she thought to herself as she shook her head some.

"Those guards are not the only ones who 'aren't terribly happy' at the moment," she replied to the new comers comment, obviously referring to herself. "It seems that I can't simply come here to take care of this pest without others showing up to spoil it all," she said, her tone holding a hint of annoyance behind it. One person showing up on her was bad enough in her opinion, but now another shows up? Though he didn't seem to be doing anything about the situation that she could tell, she still wasn't very happy about it. Both of them making their ways away from the scene would be lovely, but she figured that wouldn't be happening; not matter how much she wanted it to. At Sage's comment about his blood not being spilled if he agreed to his terms, she almost laughed; almost. "You will simply just let him live if he agrees to do whatever your 'terms' are," she asked him, not happy with that thought at all, "why would you do something like that? You must be some sort of idiot, it would make sense."

She said nothing as she heard Soki's comment about her getting a chance to kill him later on, though she had obviously heard it. She simply chose not to say anything to it, seeing as it should have been quite obvious by this point that that was something she planned to do, no matter what. She had been silent until she heard Sage's voice directed to her, her eyes moved to him, a displeased look placed on her face as she took in his words. Truly, she could have ignored them, not bothered to say anything to them or even act as if she had heard them, but she did anyways. "If you plan on dragging him along with you, then I suppose I will follow along as well," she said to him, though she didn't really like the idea of doing so.

Though, as he mentioned something about checking for someone wounded nearby, wanting her to bring the person along with her if she chose to come back; she gave a huff and replied, "will do," as if he had just asked her to go climb down a cliff and bring back a large boulder. She stood there for a moment before she picked up the spot where the individual was he had mentioned and heading in said direction. As she moved towards it, she pulled her Khopesh into her grasp, more in a defensive manor than not. As she got closer, she slowed down a bit to silence her steps before she moved to where she could view the female. Her eyes automatically move to the wound that she had a hand pressed against; though, it only stayed there for a moment before she looked back to her face. "Come along with me, I'm sure someone can get that fixed up for you," she said before she fell silent again and waited for her to respond or react to her words, her eyes watching her closely.

Nez had tried to move away when she heard the footsteps coming in her direction; the assailant hadn't exactly tried to mask their presence. But just standing was getting difficult, and she realized if the person was going to attack, they probably wouldn't have walked right at her. Deciding to conserve her strength, she waited for the person to come into a clearer view. It was the woman of the group she had been watching, and Nez almost had to laugh. She was stupid to think she hadn't drawn their attention.

That didn't stop her from dropping her free hand towards her sword, watching the woman's every move as she spoke. Though Nez felt her blood dripping between her fingers, she still felt an overwhelming sense of discomfort at accepting help from a stranger. For all she knew this woman was a sword for hire, and the moment she learned of Nez's bounty, she would cart her back off to Alionya. Tucking a lock of dark hair behind her ear, Nez attempted to stand up as straight as she could, with her own power instead of leaning on the wall for support.

"I require no assistance," Nez replied, formally but firmly. She wasn't that badly off after all, she could make it back to her hide away and treat herself just fine. The thought lasted about 7 seconds before Nez's vision went fuzzy and she fell forward, pressing her shoulder against the wall to keep herself standing. Her hair fell from behind her ear in front of her eyes, and that's when she saw it: strands of white in amongst the brown. That was a sign she was going to black out soon. She couldn't keep up her shifting the weaker she got, and when she slept or was unconscious, it faded completely. It was only a matter of time before she revealed herself if she didn't get help right away, and she supposed it was better to accept it while she was still standing.

"Ah... or perhaps I do," she conceded, giving the woman a small smile. Nez decided to not worry about the fact that her blood would give her demon status away almost immediately; humans blood was much lighter than a demon's, and her shifting powers did not extend to what left her body. This country did not treat demons the same way her own did, and she had little choice but to trust it wouldn't matter.

Pressing her hand as hard as she could on the wound, Nez pushed herself from the wall and slowly walked over to the woman, trying to do as much in her own power as was possible. "Where are you taking me?" she asked, not that the answer would help her much as she knew very little about where she was to begin with.
