Introduction
[c]From the dawn of time, there has been a fable through all races of human that there was a mighty spirit that took the souls of the passed. Most races thought this spirit was a male, who, with the help of his list, and sometimes a gold coin, would take the souls of the dead to the other side. Whether that was Heaven, Hell, Hades or the Old Land.
But, what if all the myths and fables had (and as they do) a few things wrong. What if Death was a blood thirsty killer, who, as punishment by the gods, is forced to take lives, but leave the red life force in their veins? If the world ever found this out, how would they take it?
Come joint the Queen Death in her eternal battle to send the souls of the human race to the afterlife and fight her own natural urge to take those lives as her own..[/c]

OOC Notes
Serinity awakens to the light pouring through her window pane and causes her eyes to twitch. Because of this she decides to start her day and deal with sickening sight of the man she owes her body too because she has no money she pays in sexual favors. She changes into a small sexy dress and highheels and goes down stairs into the lobby.
OOC Notes
Sekhmet was sitting in the lush gardens of the Queen's Court, long before sunrise. She is fully immersed in her daily ritual, showing her gratitude and humbleness before her patron god. It would do to skip this and have a god of imense power angered towards her, it would not do at all.
She chants under her breath in her trance-like state of meditation. The sun slowly rising above the horizion. She is snapped out of her trance, her ritual has ended with the coming of the sun.
"Apollo, god of the sun, rider of the chariot of fire across the heavens, I plead to thee that mine day be bless-ed by thy divine power over the day and sun. Gracious thanks." She turns to the small altar to her right and, with her ceremonial daggar, cuts off a small amount of the flesh of the rabbit she has sacrificed for her gods and throws it into the burning flame infront of her. The flame is also on a small altar, somewhere between the size of her hand and her forearm, wrist to elbow, glowing golden and red in the pale light of the morning. "O Apollo, god of music and morning light, I pray thee accept my meager affering this beautiful morning to your greatness."
This goes on for another ten minutes, including the rest of the gods on Mount Olympus so as to not incur any disfavor from another god who had been forgotten. Hades had gone first, in the dark of the morning before the sun. Then Apollo for the sun and lessening as she made her way down. Artemis would be kept for her nightly ceremony, first Hades then Artemis for the moon and maidens as her brother is for the sun and music.
Sekhmet's eyes slid open after she was done with her daily ritual and she cleaned up her sacred items quickly. Making her way to her quarters in the Queen's Court.
"O Hades, god of death and wealth, why hath thee sent me to this place of blasphemy. Thine own palace if of much more splendor and this "queen" is nothing more than a criminal pretending to be a god. Why would, in thy power and holiness, allow such slandor to thy name as god of death?" She mumbled under her breath, inaudible to all but herself and her patron god in this place she so hated.
There is always a reason. There is always a reason. She chanted in her thoughts, Hades does nothing without a reason, and his wife, Persphone, would not allow him to mercilessly torment his most faithful devotee. There is always a reason. There is always a reason. "O Hades, god of jewels and splendor and wealth and the afterlife, I beg of the to make my purpose here known! I lament in this inactiveness and am restless without your guiding purpose!"
She was back in her chambers soon, ready to bathe and prepare for her day of, perhaps, nothingness...
