Introduction
Dr. Ronald Grayson is a wealthy business man who has studied everything from medicine to society to engineering. A sociologist whose interests stretch far and wide, he is a rich old hermit who keeps to his experiments. Quite recently he has designed a rather large experiment in the hopes of achieving a better understanding of the interactions between people. The dedicated man spent years creating and critiquing his experiment, going over every last detail before choosing the lucky 8 people whom he would assign to be a participant in his study. He would find 8 total strangers and invite them to live in one of his many grand mansions. He would invite them all to come in live in one of his lavish homes together where they would be generously provided for. They would not need to provide a thing and at the end of the experiment, though the exact date of that was not revealed, they would each receive a million dollars. It was deal only a fool would turn down and as soon as each of the applicants and received there letter from Dr. Grayson asking for there participation they had each jumped at the chance. There was but a small catch in this perfect opportunity, they mustn’t have any contact with the outside world whatsoever and they must complete video logs every day detailing there interactions with one another. So now that each of the applicants had called and confirmed there wish to be a part of the study the good doctor had only to wait for 8 o'clock on the morning of Monday, May 1st, 2010 when the applicants would first meet and the study would begin.
Alright so this roleplay is based on characters decisions and if you feel like things are moving to slow please feel free to jazz things up. Also expect a few twists and turns along the way as the good doctor as quite a few tricks up his sleeve. As these eight people interact with the same people every day for God only knows how long emotions will begin to play a big role in there lives. Love will blossom. Tempers will flare. Friendships will be created. Relationships will be torn. Anything can happen. Please visit the OOC for a look at the roles and available character slots, thank you.

Re: [OOC] The Reckless Rollercoaster we call Life
application for one of the male characters
a character in “The Reckless Rollercoaster we call Life”, as played by Darlings
Synopsis
Tall, thin, dances for a living. Is often very effeminate, especially when emotions run high. Bisexual.
Description
Will complete soon if accepted, would like to play one of the male subjects in "The Reckless Roller coaster we call Life". Thank you
In the mean time here are the basics:
Physically strong, professional dancer would have to be fit.
Caucasian, grew up in a small city "up North". Was a very intolerant (racist, bigoted, homophobic) community, and he escaped as soon as his sexuality became obvious (between 16 and 18).
Some training in dance, but it's expensive so much of his "professional" experience has been in cages in dance clubs, and ladies night at various strip clubs.
Is in his late 20s (27?) now, and is realizing his life has stagnated and was looking for a new goal/direction when he received the doctors letter.
Equipment
cell phone and mp3 player (he will miss his greatly)

Re: [OOC] The Reckless Rollercoaster we call Life

Nickname;; Lan
Age;; Twenty-One
Gender;; Male
Personalitt;; Dylan, though he keeps up the appearance of a bad boy, is a very caring guy, but only to those who he knows and likes. If he likes you, you're as good as gold, but if he doesnt, you're pretty much screwed. In Dylan's book, a first impression is everything. If he doesn't like you when he first meets you then you really have no chance of him every trying to be friends. Always speaking his mind, Dylan really doesn't have a filter between his mind and his mouth. Whatever's on his mind with more than likely spew from his mouth. He really doesn't know when to shut up. The fact that he's honest and opinionated is one of Dylan's favorite things about himself. He actually takes pride in himself for those two qualities. Dylan will honestly tell you what he thinks about you without thinking about your feelings. Dylan has a pretty cold exterior and it's only those who look beyond that, that can see the real him. He doesn't open up to just anyone due to severe trust issues, but when Dylan does open up, it's with his full heart and only that.
Bio;; On a chilly September day, the 28th to be exact, Dylan Michael Summers was born to Emilee and John Summers. Dylan grew up as an only child, well atleast that's what he thought. Having a seemingly perfect childhood, Dylan thought that his life was made. He looked up to his dad more than anything and it was his dad who let him down the hardest. When Dylan was fifteen years old, his dad left. Though at the time Dylan didn't understand why. He thought that their family was perfect, happy. When he turned sixteen, his dad finally reappeared. He admitted the reason he left. John Summers lead a double life and he finally decided that it was too much and chose the younger woman and the three children they had together. Dylan felt betrayed and hurt more than anything. Not only had his dad chose some woman over his mother, but he had chosen three other children over him. Dylan, being short-tempered, punched his dad in the face and told him to get out. When Dylan met Katarina, he had only minimal problems opening up to her because of the story she had behind her. They had both been abandonded by their parent. Well both in her case. Now, he loves her more than anything. Or atleast that's what he thinks.

- Please be literate, I would like nice writing with only the occasional spelling mistake.
- This is a realistic roleplay which means that, as in real life, I would like a great variety of character as well background. Yes people this means you must read others characters sheets and make sure your characters are different in personality, looks, and history. And please I ask that all characters at least be 21 years of age seeing as teens good not take time away from school to complete and experiment that has no definite end-date.
- This roleplay depends solely upon what the characters do, well that and what little surprises the good doctor throws in along the way, that being said I can not promise that all topics covered will be suitable for little eyes to read.
- Again please do be literate; I don't want to hear about your character txting so-and-so or listening to this song by that artist. In fact actually I am going to say that all communication pieces were to be left at home and that bags will be searched for them upon the beginning of the experiment.
- Thank you for adhering to all of my rules if they are broken I will kindly ask you to fix your mistake if that approach does not work I will be forced to ask you to leave this roleplay, thank you.
