Introduction
It all started on a beautiful Saturday afternoon,(sarcasm)I accompanied my father to his place of work, he was a scientist that worked in Axis’ pharmaceutical laboratory in New York…I think I’m just going to skip past all the boring parts and get to the good stuff, so after watching my father work for a few hours. I managed to sneak away and check out some of the more secretive parts of the laboratory. I found myself in a dark room full of computers, Surprisingly this room was unlocked, I managed to find a computer that was on. When I looked at the screen I was shocked at what I saw. There were files upon more files, of a project called “Atlas,” I read the files, and found out that Axis’ pharmaceutical labs were just a cover. Axis was creating a serum, for well… lets just call them super soldiers. They planned on making this serum and selling it to the highest bidder…could you imagine that kind of power in the hands of some mad man. Well I did, that’s why I kept reading…I wanted to know everything Axis was up to. But my reading was cut short when one of the guards walked into the room and saw me. I ran to a near by door and opened it, it lead to a hallway. I ran down the hallway until I had no choice but to open a second door. Yet, again another room that was unlocked…something told me these people didn’t know how to keep secrets…secret. The door lead me into a room filled with generators and scientists, I made my way through the room. Trying to be discreet, but I was the only one without a lab coat so being discreet was very hard. When I turned around to see if the guard was still following me. I saw that he was and he was getting closer, he yelled for me to stop. But I quickly ran and turned a corner and found my self facing a wall. I turned around and the guard was standing there with a gun pointed at me.
I charged at the guard, I tackled him and his gun fired and the bullet hit one of the generators and as I got up from the ground and started to run the generator exploded causing a few others to explode and…Well you guessed it, I died. Ok, I didn’t really die… but I was injured severely and I passed out. Surprisingly, I woke up and when I did… I was floating in some kind of tube filled with water or some kind of liquid, while being studied by a group of scientist. One of them, being my father…after I had fully gained consciousness I banged on the glass part of the tube, but it didn’t break. The liquid was drained and I stood there in the tube cold and wet. When I was released from the tube, a group of guards were there to escort me… that was when something strange happened, I could hear voices that didn’t sound human.. They had a pitch to them that sounded electronic. I remember thinking how I wanted to get out of there, and then an alarm went off and the voices began telling me what I needed to do. I saw the door to the lab and ran toward it and it opened automatically, when I was on the other side the doors were locked and the guards were trapped inside. The voices kept talking to me, I eventually made my way out of the lab and found myself in a back alley… I looked at myself, I didn’t have any clothes, but I was at least free…I guess you could say I was free in more than one sense of the word. After escaping the lab, the voices changed from the electronic ones to human voices. They were the voices of the guards and scientists over their radios. I heard one of them say “If you put the tracker on him, we can chase after him.” another said “ He was able to bypass all of our security and he crashed ever single computer we have. I don’t think he would be worth the trouble.” I smiled and then began walking, I knew I couldn’t go back home. I created a new identity for myself and a new life, the day I died was the day I was reborn.
I am Hawk, I send this message to all those who wish to bring down Axis. The resistance begins now.”
Plot: Ok, so the plot of this story is that Axis needs to be taken down. Now you may be wondering… how can my character fit into this or what kind of character should I have. Well something that I didn’t put in the intro was that, the explosion released some chemicals and radiation that couldn’t all be contained in the lab. So it was able to spread out. For some people this would mean they would get sick and possibly die, some could feel nothing and just go on with their normal lives. for others the chemicals and radiation in the air could bond with them on the genetic level, causing them to be immune to the sickness and also gain superhuman abilities.
Now the whole point is taking down Axis, all the characters will be connected because Hawk, will be watching them and will want to recruit them from the resistance. But don’t worry all you somewhat normal people(Aka: Batman enthusiast) Hawk is also recruiting those who are normal but show great potential.
Oh, wait I forgot to mention the best part, the higher ups from Axis will also be playing a role. Though there will only be a few spots, you can play one of them and everyone knows the bad guy always has to inject themselves with the serum to make themselves super powerful.
Character sheet-
Appearance/ Description: (please no photographs, if you use image.)
Name/Alias: (Some characters, like Hawk may want to forget who they used to be so they go by an alias. But some people will want to keep their name.)(if you use an alias, please say so… makes things easier.)
Code name: (This is the equivalent of a superhero name, or just whatever you want everyone to call you.)
Gender:
Age:
Weapon:
Abilities/powers: (fill in what your character can do, be as detailed as you can… I just don’t want people saying stuff like super speed, but don’t specify that the person can break the sound barrier.)(Oh and don’t go to overboard with this, but if you would like you can have more than one power if it is related to your characters core power.) (Ex. Controlling fire and also lightning would be ok.)
Background/Origin: (The intro, is my characters origin/Background. I would like these to be 1 paragraph- 2 paragraphs.)

Rules: *sigh* sadly, there are rules I only have a few and here they are.
1. No godmodding, please no controlling someone’s character. Etc
2. I would like 1 paragraph per post, I understand having writers block it happens, but I plan on working hard so you have as much as you need to go off of, so please take advantage of that.
3. Please, please try your best to stay committed, I know things happen. People get busy or just get tired. I know about all of this, so just try your best to stay committed and if you can’t just tell me. I don’t hold grudges, so if you get tired just tell me and if you want to drop out just go ahead.
4. I have a 1 week policy, if you don’t post and haven’t sent me a pm or anything to tell me what is wrong. I kill off your character, I may or take control of characters if there is a need for it. (or I will assign them to someone who is willing to play the role.)
5.Have fun… don’t take things to seriously.
6. If there is even an argument in the ooc, my ruling is final(usually, I do make exceptions.)
8. If you have read these rules then you should know I have made a mistake, before your image/description. Put what the mistake is, (Hint: it has something to do with a number.)

Aiden felt goose bumps rise over her skin and she went over to sit on the couch, watching the other guy sit down on the chair and handcuffs strapped him to the chair. She felt herself shiver and the small downy feathers on her back quiver.
"Ummm. . . I don't think any of you guys are working for Axis," She decided to throw into the conversation, knowing it wouldn't quite resolve anything but maybe it would help. She smiled softly at all of the people in the room. She had a feeling that she would have to get to know them and spend a lot of time with them so why not get on their friendly side.
She looked around at the people in the room, noticing how some of them looked differently, probably due to the fact that they had powers. Though she assumed everyone in the room had some sort of power or else they wouldn't be there.

Aurora then shouted “what is your problem! You’re the one who says we need more members.” Hawk stared at her with cold eyes, Aurora read his thoughts and then looked away from him. Hawk then looked at the man who was handcuffed and gave him a forced smile, Hawk then said “So, you come here waving your gun around and you expect to get answers.” Hawk chuckled and electrical sparks began to appear around his right arm. Hawk was angry that one this man came into his base and two he had the nerve to point a gun at one of his team members. Hawk then stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder, he looked back and saw Rain; she shook her head and said “its ok, I think you should talk to him instead of hurting him. He could have killed me, but he didn’t so I think he deserves the same treatment.” Hawk nodded and the sparks disappeared, Hawk then grabbed the man by his shirt and said “alright, this group is not a part of Axis. We are far from it. I don’t know where you got your information from, but it is completely wrong. This group was created to destroy Axis not help it. Now that you have the correct information, you can leave.” Aurora sighed and then unlocked the handcuffs, the twins backed away from the man but they were still close enough to attack him if he tried anything.
Hawk started to walk away, but he was stopped by Angel who said “I’m sorry, but you can’t go anywhere till you eat the breakfast I made for you.” Hawk smiled, Angel always knew the perfect thing to say when he was mad. Hawk made his way to the kitchen and sat down at the table. He placed his head down on the table and tried to get a moment of silence before his eardrums were bombarded by the sound of chatter and questions.

Kyoko’s eyes widened as she spotted a weapon’s locker in the far end of the room. “… better be there…” Her thoughts started to surface as she neared the locker. “Of course! They just HAD to leave the locks intact!” she thought as she saw the combination lock on the locker. Taking the rifle in both hands, Kyoko smashed the end of it into the locker, hoping to break the lock. The only result, however, was a violent twisting of her abdomen as the rifle hit the locker, making her fall to the ground twisting in pain. The sniper rifle fell to the ground with a hollow clunk; a sound Kyoko was sure the follower had heard.
“Curse this!” Kyoko muttered as she pulled herself up from the ground again, failing to notice the faint trail of blood that followed her every movement. Whimpering softly with every step she moved away from the locker, Kyoko set course for the windows of the room. Looking over her shoulder, she could still see the person from before in the corridor. “… if I can just…” Kyoko thought as she reached the window, both arms trying to calm the storm that had arisen in her wound. Looking out the window, Kyoko felt reassured as she saw an alley. She recalled never walking up or down stairs, making this the floor level. The windows were sealed as far as she could tell, but it did not matter. Her right hand grabbed her pistol from the holster on her leg, twisted it until she held the barrel of the gun and smashed the end of the pistol into the window, effectively shattering the window into thousands of small pieces.
Kyoko’s skin was whiter than ever from blood loss as she climbed through the shattered window, the remaining pieces of glass feeling like shrapnel in her hands and legs as she leaned on them. Pushing herself away from the window, she fell to the ground. “GET… AWAY” her brain screamed, but Kyoko could not resist hiding anymore. She got on her legs again and ran down the alley, with every step hurting her more than ever. Passing the first dumpster, Kyoko slid around it, hiding herself from the person following her. She pushed her back against the dumpster, brushed the last of the glass shrapnel away from her legs and pulled out both pistols, persuading herself that reloading them was the best idea. She could only hope that whoever it was behind her would not see her… and that she would survive the wait.

With money left over she could get a decent hotel, but that would require borrowing one of the old members in this team to do the down payment and registration. One of the biggest teachings that she went through was actually business and marketing, so one day she could properly take over the Ati family name. "Then if you continue to help me out, and really do start taking down Axis, I will make sure the rest of your lives are set. All I want is to kill the ones behind these events." Possibility of them not taking the money was also a high likely, but she had to win on this case. They had to of had a great intelligence network in order to track down two people at once, as well catch another breaking in. The suits of armor admitted they had tech, so it was possible this wasn't even their real base. "If the money doesn't work, then I will join you personally.
The more she thought about it, the more likely it was that they wouldn't even need her for help. Though the girl who brought her here said they needed more members, with the technology and control they had it may be pointless to bring about more inexperienced members. It was difficult for her to even tell if she could pull a winning scenario out of this. Her eyes began to silently beg, hoping that they would just give in. Her pride of wealth stood to far in the way to say please to such people that would talk down to her. Who knew how to make three quarters off the streets by commoners terms, could she just steal it, did anyone ever just carry around seventy five cents? The only reason she knew how much it costs for a phone call is because a man was making fun of her trying to use a pay phone.

Target got up from the chair and moved back towards his gun. He could tell that the two odd looking follows (who he didn't have a picture of) were still a little tense from the whole ordeal and were ready to fight at a moments notice. He picked up the gun and put the small key back in the safety to unlock it. He never had the safety off when he was carrying his gun. It was just one more annoying thing he had to do before firing it, or at least that's how he thought of it. Target put the gun back into his holster that was pretty well hidden seeing what he was wearing.
"I think I'm going to stay. If you really are who you say you are then I assume you wouldn't mind, besides, you are desperate for recruits from what I understand. I would only expect one hundred a week for my services. If that is too much then I'm sure we can arrange a deal."
He walked over to the couch without saying anything else to sit with the rest of the recruits. He flopped right in between the two of them and gave them a very synthetic smile.
"That's how you make a proper deal. If you really want to bring them down, then this seems like a better place than any if they are telling the truth. The names Target by the way."

I wonder...
He put both hands on the lock and started to pull it. Yep, definitly working Jack looked back at the faint green aura that ran through his body, having another idea, placing both hands on the lock once more. Concentrate.. I think He looked over to his hands as the colour richened and darkened from it's green aura to somewhat pink aura. The lock looked as if it was slowly corroding after hundreds of years, but instead after only 5 seconds. When he pulled on the lock it broke apart easily, as if it was paper. The locker swong wide open, and Jack could see the vast amounts of ammo that was just sitting there, then turning to look back at the rifle. He stuffed all the ammo and magazines in his bag, which weighed slightly less then himself. Oh crap.. he thought.
He looked at the long rifle on the ground and reached in his bag for some ammo. Grabbing a random clip, he pushed it in the sniper rifle with a resounding click. "I think that should be it." Jack looked out the window and groaned in frusteration. He threw over the sniper rifle out the window, then his bag. as he climbed on the window the glass dug in on his ankles, letting out a cry of pain and falling on the cloor of the alleyway. "Son of a... He looked left and right at the alley adjusting his gas mask once more before he grabbed the ammo full open backpack with one arm, and the giant rifle with his other, immeadiatly making his arms sore. "Hello?" he let out with a loud but shrill voice through the alleyway. "Ummm..I know you're there... you left your..gun..thingy." Jack looked down at the rifle in his arm still feeling a sharp burn. "Can you please pick it up? It's killing my arms here."

A sound woke her from the daze she had just entered. “WHERE?!” her mind screamed. “Probably the follower”, another thought added seconds later, drawing conclusions without proof. Her hands gripped the pistols a bit tighter while she focused all her energy on listening. Sounded like metal against metal. Then the sound stopped. Kyoko was fully awake again, although her eyes were halfway closed and her breath had become heavier. Things were not optimal at all.
A scream caused her attention to peek. Something was moving out the same window she had used. Kyoko bit her lower lip, maintaining her strategy of waiting. If the person passed by her, she would be free to roam the streets again. Free to find somewhere to stay. “Free to find medicaa…” Kyoko whispered as she dazed away again.
“… pick it up? It's killing my arms here." Kyoko’s eyes opened wide, showing her fear. Had she just been sleeping? Her mind was working hard to get a grip of the situation. Somebody had called out through the night. Somebody on the other side of the dumpster was trying to kill her. Somebody had followed her. She was injured. Her mind, becoming more and more ineffective due to the blood loss, could not comprehend the full situation anymore. Her hands, still clenching the guns, pushed her up the side of the dumpster.
Kyoko used the wall on the side of the alley to push herself into the middle of the alley, standing face to face with whomever it was following her. Her brain, still becoming more and more dysfunctional, spotted the rifle. “ENEMY!” The word echoed through her mind. Both guns moved upwards in an arc in front of her, making them point in the direction of the follower. Kyoko pulled both triggers without aiming, firing two rounds down the alley. Another pair of bullets followed, continued by yet another pair. Kyoko’s vision was now impaired so much that nothing was clear anymore. Everything was in a blur. As the third pair of bullets left her pistols, Kyoko’s vision went black, her brain going blank. Kyoko’s slender body fell down as her knees no longer supported her. Her body tried to cuddle itself together as she dazed away again, the blood loss finally breaking her.

Then silence. Jack looked up from the pavement to see the shadow again, on both knees, who looks as if it's looking out in a distance. Jack stood up once more grabbing the rifle and bag dragging them behind him. "What're are you trying to do, kill m-" stopping halfway noticing that the young woman was severly bleeding, and looked like she was going to be pass out. Dropping the rifle behind him as he ran up towards her, grabbing her before she could drop down on the pavement.
Too much blood He looked down at the nearly passed out girl, still holding the two pistols in both hands. Jack dug in his backpack through the ammo, the Radiation for Dummies book, and pulled out the small med kit that lay at the bottom of the bag. As he took the cotton from the med kit, he reilized that the bleeding was from the chest, and there were clothes in the way. The thoughts were echoing again and again. No.. No...Just keep press down on the wound, till it stops the bleeding. The only reason he knew that was that he once read the instructions that was once in the small medical kit he had stolen as well. He slowly put the nearly passed out woman down on the ground and held his hands over the wound, then his arms at the reilization of how long the wound was. "If you can hear me, open your eyes and just stay still, I'm going to try to stop the bleeding."

Kyoko’s conscious surfaced as somebody called out to her. Her eyes opened, showing no depth in the red eyes as she looked straight at the person. Through the blur she could outline a gasmask, puzzling her a bit. Her stomach was in more pain than ever, as if somebody was putting weight on her wound. “That… hurts” she said, closing her eyes again, feeling the warmth of being held for the first time in many years. She was conscious now, but soon that would be over. A slight hiss escaped her lips as she faded away, her mind becoming unconscious.

She sighed and cast her eyes over everyone, some people more obvious of their power then others. She wasn't quite sure how she had gotten into this crazy world but Aiden didn't think she would mind it; in fact, she thought it would be a hell of a lot of fun. And if she ever realized that it was a trap, that she really doubted it was, well then all she had to do was flee.
"So, how are we gonna bring Axis down? If you don't mind me asking. And what are your powers?" She asked and beamed, trying to be friendly. "I can control the earth or some shit like that, not quite sure yet. And I have wings," She told them and giggled a little. She was finally feeling not so nervous and she decided she would trust these people. Aiden had no trust issues at all, in reality, she trusted people more than she should have.

Disinfect the wound... He can't do that with the top part of the school uniform in the way. He pulled the bottle with the clear liquid from the small kit, labelled 99% Alcohol and doused the cotton ball in his left hand with it. Maybe... He pulled up the collar of the shirt and found the 15cm scar, a dark red line. After swabbing it with the cotton he remembered the next step. Bandage the wound, no way I can't avoid it now... Looking at the bandages that took the form of a ball. Taking deep breaths, he slowly unbuttoned the bloodied vest of the uniform and opened it. "Now the shirt." he pulled the shirt up over her head, thankful that someone was wearing a bra, but still distracted. Away from the breast to the chest, to the chest, to the wound. He started the badaging from the top of her left shoulder, over the wound under her arm and back again, and again. Jack pulled her shirt back down and put the vest back on her, letting out a sigh of relief. "I should be a docter..."
"I swear she's inside right now!" The voice came from inside the building, then the sound of feet walking. Jack turned around towards the window. "Crap!" He dragged the unconscious (but surprisingly light) woman behind the dumpster, grabbing one of the two pistols that she still held in her hand. Please go away, please go away, please go away...

“No, your not giving the girl any money. This girl is a spoiled rich kid, who just wants to live the life of luxury again. She needs to learn that her old life is gone far from her grasp and she will probably never be able to reach it.” Hawk stood up and looked at the girl, he then said to her “You have a nice place to stay, you get free food and a bed to lie on. If that’s not suitable enough for you, then you can go back on the street and rob people, but trust me you wont last long when the cops start looking for you. Now you can either sit down and let me fix all this chaos or you can leave.”
Hawk then looked at the intruder and said “if you want to stay, that’s fine, but the amount I would pay you will just go into your rent and food costs. So if your staying here, you don’t get paid but you will have a place to stay.” Rain walked over to Hawk and said “are you sure, you want this guy staying here?” Hawk nodded and said “it is better to have this guy, some place I can easily keep an eye on him instead of on the streets were he would be harder to keep track of.” Rain nodded, she knew Hawk had a point, but she just couldn’t trust the guy so easily he pointed a gun in her face and that was something she wouldn’t forget easily.
Hawk then looked toward Aiden, and with a smile he said “I have a plan, but I can’t tell you new members until I feel I can trust you. As for powers, why tell you when I can show you. Hawk’s eyes turned light blue as he connected himself with every machine in the vicinity. He then stopped, and said “hang on, I think I’ve got something. It seems that there was a report about gun fire not to long ago.” Hawk looked at the twins and said “You two go check it out.” The twins nodded and they teleported themselves out of the base, Hawk looked at Aurora and Rain, then said “show everyone where they will be sleeping” He then motioned toward Angel, Angel walked over to Hawk and He told her “when the twins come back, they are going to have someone injured with them. I need you to take care of it.” Angel nodded and made her way to the “infirmary,” which was a room with a bed and shelves that was stocked with every kind of medicine known to man and some that were engineered by Aurora and Hawk.
Aurora and Rain, motioned for everyone to follow them, they walked to the back of the base. Which was where all the rooms were, there were about thirty or so rooms. Aurora looked at everyone and said “The rooms are fairly, large. Hawk made them so they would be spacious and comfortable. Plus you can decorate them however you want.” Rain then looked toward the elevator and said to Aurora “should we show them, the rest of the base.” Aurora shook her head and said “maybe now isn’t the right time.” she then looked at everyone again and said “go ahead and pick out your rooms, there are plenty. They are pretty much all the same.”
The twins made their way through the city, they had just gotten the directions from Hawk. They were just about to reach their destination. They then stopped when they reached the warehouse, they made their way inside the building where they heard voices. Roland looked at Victoria and said “wait here, I want to go check it out.” He then phased himself through the wall and he heard a group of people talking, he heard someone say “I think, this is the way she went.” All of them had weapons, Roland then went back to Victoria and said “there is a group up ahead, I think we should take them out and ask questions later.” Victoria nodded and they made their way toward the group, when they showed up the group fired upon them. Roland and Victoria teleported toward the group and in about thirty seconds, they were all unconscious. Roland then pointed toward at small pool of blood in the alley near the warehouse. He made his way into the alley and then smiled at a guy in a gas mask huddled up with a girl. He then saw that the girl was bleeding, he yelled for Victoria to come and she did. When she saw the sight, she looked at Roland and nodded. The two inner locked their fingers and then grabbed the boy and the girl and teleported them to the infirmary.
Angel was waiting for them, she took the girl and laid her on the bed and said “alright, all of you guys get out.” The twin took the boy in the gas mask and brought him to Hawk. Roland looked at Hawk and said “we found this kid huddled up with a girl, who was bleeding.” Hawk smiled at the boy and said “you guys don’t have to manhandle him.” The twins let the boy go and they walked off toward the coach. Hawk looked at the boy and said “I know this all seems weird, sorry about what happened. But don’t worry, we aren’t here to hurt you we just want to help.” Hawk saw that they boy was kind of shaken up, he went to the refrigerator and pulled out a bottle of water. He handed it to the boy and said “here, it might help you calm down a little bit.”
Angel placed her hand on the girls bandages, she noticed that the bandages were done by an amateur, but a slightly skilled one. She smiled and watched as the girl began to move. Angel then began to undue the bandages and saw as the girl’s wound quickly closed up and it appeared as if she had never even been cut. Angel smiled at the girl and said “your safe now, when ever you feel up to it, come outside. Your friend should be out there waiting for you.” Angel then walked out of the room and made her way to the living room, she looked into the kitchen and saw Hawk talking to the boy in the gas mask. She then said “she is ok, I’m sure she will be out soon.”

The twins let go of Jack and receded to their couch. The man started to talk again “I know this all seems weird, sorry about what happened. But don’t worry, we aren’t here to hurt you we just want to help.” Jack didn't trust the man, not one bit. he went to the refrigerator and pulled out a bottle of water. He handed it to Jack and said “Here, it might help you calm down a little bit.” Jack looked at the water, and dropped it on the floor. "Last time I took water from a stranger I woke up in a ring, fighting." Jack slowly pulled out the blood stained kitchen knife out of his pocket, holding it by his side. "Who are you?, Where the hell am I?, Who are they?-"pointing to the twins, "And why am I here?" Jack started shaking again, the aura around pulsating, a dark green forming around his skin.
“She is ok, I’m sure she will be out soon.” Jack dropped his head as the aura dropped, clearly frusterated in the situation he's in.

Looking between the doors she began to wonder, even if she did claim a room how could she decorate it. The two twin pairs teleported out just before she was lead off to these rooms, perhaps they could easily furnish rooms. But the problem with money still remained, how was she even supposed to furnish the place. Maybe their team even came up with a way to credit for that. The more she listened to them talk, the more she gazed at the rooms she understood how little credit she had originally gave them. Apparently they were a lot more taken care of than she could have thought. And with this she couldn't help but wonder what Hawk was, or at least his past.
She waited a few moments, letting her thoughts trail off before she moved towards one of the doors and entered the room. Following the walls she let her hand trail across it, it was bare. Hawk's words were still affecting her, she would never return to how things were before. Her room decorated with lilies painted onto the walls, the rare collection sets of stuffed animals. Her Egyptian cotton sheets, the red silk blankets, the ceiling painted like the sky during a perfect day break. Everything was gone, things that held memories for her could not return. All she had left was to make a new her. "Can I paint the room black?" She called out, trying to imagine the new room. She could paint crimson bands that glide across the wall, maybe even paint the ceiling like the night's sky instead, one covered with stars.

Aurora and Rain began to show them to their rooms. Target was sure that the reason the two of them were going was if he tried anything funny. He had no intention to do so, not yet at least. He would only do something if they did something and he wasn't sure what he needed to believe yet. A few minutes later, they made it to the living spaces. Target instantly cut away from everyone else and found a room. It didn't really matter which one he picked, so he just decided to go with the sixth one on the left. It didn't have anything in it yet, but he had some plans. All he had to do was make connection with a few people he knew. They would be able to move all the stuff into an apartment near by that was always empty. He was sure that it was an entrance to the base now that he realised that there were multiple ways to get through.
He began to look around the room to see if there were any secrets about it that he didn't know about. He was sure that there was. He would have to get it debugged for sure as he knew that Hawk would probably have some sort of security measures to make sure that he wouldn't snoop around. He was going to make sure that Hawk wouldn't be able to snoop around his room either. It would be covered head to toe in all of the latest security so that only him and those he wished to enter would be able to enter the room. He knew a few people that would teach him how to install all of the security as well.
Target proceeded to leave the base. He exited through the same way he came in and left the restaurant. The lady who had been serving him was still there and was surprised to see him come out of the utility closet. He grabbed his jacket that was still sitting on the chair where he was sitting and then he gave the girl the money for the french onion soup and a little extra. He then left the restaurant and headed to his little apartment to get what he needed from it.

She picked the gun up, feeling the unfamiliar weight on her wrist. She didn't like it but she supposed she would look it over if she would help take down the evil company. She didn't know much about guns, at all but she saw the trigger though she couldn't find the safety. It didn’t' help that Aiden didn't even know what the safety looked like. She sighed and put it back down on her bed and picked up the dagger and smiled. This one would be easier to fight with she had decided. The weight felt okay on her wrist and it was pretty simple to use it. It felt almost just like an extension to her arm which would be easier. She placed it back on the bed, deciding she would practice with both of them as soon as she got the chance to ask someone how to use them.
She stood up and walked out of the bedroom, eyeing the room that she had saw the girl enter, the one who had demanded the money. Aiden shrugged and went over to lean on the doorframe, the door still open. "Hey, what's up?" She asked the girl with a smile. It would be good for Aiden to make friends; she didn't know how long she would be with these people but friends usually always made things better.

All of this was protected by a state of the art security system. It could detect room temperature, disturbances in air pressure as well as motion and unidentifiable sounds. To bypass all of these, one would need to have DNA from Target's skin, blood and hair but would also need to get past the voice recognition, the key, retina scan and ten digit password. If someone was found inside, a extremely loud alarm would go off and the room would go under complete lockdown. No one could get in or out.
Target had been saving his money for years to be able to get all of this equipment. Being an high end assassin had it's benefits too, so he still had enough money left over for an average man to survive on his own, but now he wasn't on his own and he could keep that money for something else special he might want to buy in the future.
Target was wiped out from installing all of this stuff and he needed a break, he decided to take a look at what they had in their kitchen.

Hawk sat in his “observatory“, staring at the computer monitors on the wall. Crime had been on the rise, the police force was stretched thin trying to take care of all the powerful villains, he had created. Hawk knew the city was going to burn to the ground if he didn’t do anything about it. But he wasn’t ready yet, he had one more person he had to save before he could even think about stopping the crime in the city. Hawk opened a folder on the computer, when it opened it was full of pictures. Hawk began viewing them as a slide show, the pictures were of Axis and the man they were holding captive, “Force.” Hawk knew he would need to save this man if he was going to have any chance of destroying Axis.
Hawk called Rain, the twins, Aurora and Angel into the “observatory.” they were all a little confused, Angel was just about to make breakfast and they were all hungry. Hawk usually waited till after breakfast before he would send them on errands or tell them important info. They knew this was either very important or Hawk just wanted to annoy them. Hawk spun around in his chair and looked at his fateful companions and said “we need to infiltrate Axis.” they all stared at him and then Aurora spoke up saying “You have to be joking, do you know how much man power they have in that building. With just us it would be suicide and you know that Hawk.” Hawk nodded and said “I know the risks well, but that man must be saved if we hope to defeat Axis. He was once a scientist for them and if we can get him on our side. We can get as much information on Axis as we need.” Rain shook her head and said “this one man may seem important, but is he important enough that we should storm Axis with just us?” Hawk sighed and said “I feel we need to save him, Axis wont see us coming and the risk will more than likely be low. If anything was to go wrong, all we would have to do is leave through the escape roots I have mapped out.” Rain sighed, she didn’t really like the idea of it just being them, the chance of this plan going wrong, would increase with more people. But at least they would be safer if they got caught. Rain then turned to the door and said “why don’t you also run this idea by the new members of this team.”
Hawk looked at her and said “no, they are inexperienced and would only make this mission more dangerous.” Rain smiled and said “what if they were trained. Give us a week, I think they can be fully ready for this.” Hawk got out of his seat and said “the only way you could train them in a week is if you put them through the training course. You know they aren’t ready for that, you could kill them.” Rain smiled and said “you have to put your faith in this guys, like you do with us.”
She then exited the room and walked down the hall to the bedrooms, she passed hers and grabbed the pen that was in a holder that was attached to her door and a few sticky notes. Rain liked to be organized so she kept a sticky note pad and a pen on her door so people could leave her notes. Rain began writing on the pads and she slid them under each of the new members doors. She hoped they would see it when they woke.
The not read “eat breakfast, then meet me on B2, Training room. -Rain.” Rain then made her way to the elevator, she pressed the button and the doors opened. She walked inside and pressed B2. The elevator went down and when the doors opened, Rain walked into a bare metallic room. She then smiled and said “Run simulation twelve,” the artificial intelligence Hawk and Aurora had built analyzed the words and then a mechanical arm came out of the side of the wall and threw a knife at Rain, she dove forward and rolled. She then pulled out her pistol and shot the arm before it could throw a second knife. A computerized voice then said “simulation twelve complete.” Rain smiled and said to herself “maybe I should test their skill levels, before I have knives thrown at them.”

He couldn't help but shiver as the memory of one of the latino gangs tring to catch him came up, their skins burned black as well to his "power." He took a deep sigh as more memories came rushing towards him, the situation with the man who called himself Hawk explaining to him what Axis pharmaceuticals "true" intentions, and that it was their fault for giving Jack this curse of death. When he started telling Jack that other families could be in danger he still didn't trust him at all, only when he metioned the idea of staying in a room did Jack agree to "help." Jack had trust issues within good reason, before meeting Hawk, the girl with the rifle and even his own powers, he was tricked and drugged by the local gangs into a ring with a kitchen knife on his side. Then the other kid opposite to his side would wake up, when he (or she) did they pushed both people inside, and force them to fight to each other. If 15 seconds have passed and neither kid does something or just look at each other, bang! you're gone. The first person to land the most cuts, slashes in ten minutes win. The loser of the match, well he or she has to deal with the cuts and slashes. A stabbing counted as an automatic win, and Jack? Well despite being forced to fight, his ability to be light and nimble did win a lot of his matches...
The big problem though is that you didn't want to be too good or else they moved you up towards fights with the big guys, then next thing you know you're bleeding and have to steal some painkillers from Axis pharmacueticals to make it through the pain. I wonder what the name of the girl with the rifle is ... taking a second out of his deep set memories to wonder about the present. He looked around the dimly lit room, towards the white walls, brown carpet that covered the floor, wooden desk with some paper and pencils. The only thing that Jack changed about the room was his self-defense kitchen knife he forced into the wall for security reasons, not that he needed it considering he had a power. Looking at the door to the outside of his room he noticed a piece of paper slipped underneath it, grabbing the knife stuck on the wall and pulling it out, he stood up from his bed and walked towards the door grabbing the yellow sticky note. It read :“Eat breakfast, then meet me on B2, Training room. -Rain.”
Even though Jack didn't need breakfest, he really wanted to have soething to taste again. Pocketing his knife on his right side, he grabbed his "Radiation for Dummies" book and crumpled up the note and threw it away in a corner of his room before readjusting the gask mask still attached to his face. To Jack it was more important to keep it on, and have it marked on his face then take the chance to take it off. If he did take it off, the images would just haunt him. He opened his door and made his downstairs towards the kitchen, sitting himself on the table. Jack knew there was other people there with him, he saw a couple of new faces when he was walking towards his new room two days ago. I wonder if they're like me... Jack thought druming his fingers on the table, waiting for everyone else to come down to eat.

While he did that, he used his own personal laptop to look up some information on Axis. After he extracted the information he wanted, he eliminated all evidence of him ever looking it up on his laptop through erasing files both on his laptop, but also on the computer that had been hacked. He would then transfer onto another laptop that he left in one of his filing cabinet. This computer was off network which made things impossible for people to hack into it. The only way to get anything that was on that computer would be to bypass all the security and then extract the information from it. All this was done while still attempting to get everything on his computer installed.
As he continued to do his work, a note slipped under his door. A flaw in the security, I'm going to need to fix it, he thought as he slid his chair back and got up. He walked over to the note, very suspicious of what might be coming. As he read the note things began to get a little more clear. Obviously Rain was preparing him for something. What she was preparing him for, he wasn't sure all he could really tell was that what was going to happen was going to involve a lot of energy and that is why she wanted him to have something to eat before he did whatever she wanted him to.
Target walked down the hall and into the kitchen area. He had already had a bit to eat for breakfast, but he still wanted to have a bit more for whatever might come his way. That is when a kid in a gas mask walked in. Although he wanted to stay and figure out what the deal was with this kid, he was just anxious to get out and see what was waiting for him. Besides, he would be able to talk to the kid after whatever he was going to do. He grabbed a banana and then left for the elevator where he assumed that he would find B2. On his way there, he passed directly by a room that was called the observatory. He could hear people talking in the room, but he wasn't sure what it was about. Without knowing the true intentions of this organization, he wasn't about to make any assumptions about it either. He did have a few ideas, but just passed them off as ridiculous.
The banana wasn't that great. It was starting to get old and he could tell the second he grabbed it that it would be very mushy and bruised. It didn't matter, he wouldn't lose any important nutrients from it age and seeing that he had already eaten, it didn't really matter. When he walked into the elevator, the temperature became a lot cooler. The elevator surrounded him in a metal encasing as the doors closed. Lights at the top allowing him to see the white buttons that were surrounded by red lights in case the elevators lights were to turn off. He realised that the cool temperature was because of a ventilation shaft at the top of the elevator. Since the base was underground, the air would be cooler anywhere where the place wasn't heated like in the elevator shaft.
Soon enough, he was on the right floor and the door opened. Rain was standing there waiting for him. Target smiled and wondered what she wanted with him, the man who just a few days ago was pointing a gun in her direction.

Stepping out of the bathroom, Kurai was brushing her hair looking at the various things she brought. Instead of a bed, she brought a futon. Simply because it was light, and it could serve as a couch or a bed. In the closet there were some high quality clothes as well her own childish desires. Her personal favorites were the black kimono, the red dress that she often used for social gatherings, a black trench coat. Her fingers danced across the different outfits, pulling out a more casual outfit. A simple white t-shirt along with black cloth pants. Walking closer to the door she sat at a small desk, scooting the chair closer as she picked up a book to read. But before she could even open the book she could hear footsteps, and then a note slid under her door. For a few minutes she just stared at it, wondering what it could actually be. It was possible that the note could be that guy saying she had to leave, but then again.
Deciding firmly to read the note, she pushed herself up and walked towards the door to retrieve the letter. Reading through it she proceeded to the futon where her chains lay. "Training Room?", she muttered, seeing that events were finally beginning to arise. "Very well, than it is best to be prepared.". She gently touched, the touch causing a reaction throughout the chain bringing life. The chains swirled around her, binding itself in any way it could before settling down. With the chains over her clothes they would make noise with every few steps, something Kurai had gotten used to. Sometimes the chains wouldn't even allow her to remove them, and instead cling more tightly to her body. But every now and again they fall loosely to the ground by her plead. However she always went back to the chains, feeling like they were part of her now that the world has changed for her.
She poked her head out of her room, looking around to see who else was awake. Stepping out she continued through the halls heading for the kitchen area. When she reached the door someone came back out carrying a banana, it was the person that originally thought the others worked for Axis. Not bothering to say a word she entered the room where a boy wearing a gas mask sat. This one she couldn't remember actually seeing, unless it was for a brink second at the end of the hall. He looked relatively younger, but then again there were a few older people that could easily be seen as sixteen. With the urgency of the first person, it was possible they received the same letter, that or his was more dire. Either way, she decided she would simply follow the next person to wherever this Training Room was. She quickly made a small bowl of ramen, hoping it would suffice for a morning meal before sitting down at the other end of the table.

He could hear the rattling of the chains and turned around to see another person, this one a young woman who looked a year or two older then Jack. Chains were wrapped around her and every step made severeal clanks as the links of the chain made contact with each other. Jack looked shocked, widening his eyes at the scene. He shook his head trying to forget about the new person and looked back at the lushious red apple, savoring it's colour and shape wondering how sweet it would taste. As he raised the apple towards his mouth only a small thud could be heard, along with a sudden reilization.
Fuck! God damnit! he thought to himself putting the red apple back on the table, cursing the gas mask attached to his face, running his fingers through the straps that was at the back of his head.
"Just eat it." a voice replica of his own, told him.
I can't...
"Why not...? Just take off the mask."
Jack raised his hand up towards the gas mask, ready to pull it off until he saw the same chain girl eating noodles across the table from him. The hand grew somewhat shaky with hesitation.
"What are you doing? Eat it!"
"I can't... if I do then she'll...
Remebering the charred skin of the people from Vietnam in the "Radiation for dummies" book that layed face down on the table and his own memories of the same charred skin on the gang that tried to kill him "it" spoke again.
"So what? Haven't you been eating crap from the garbage your whole life? Wouldn't you like to taste a fruit again? A sweet, sweet fruit?"
"I-I'm not even hungry"
"Eat the fruit of temptation.
Just eat it."
Instead Jack put his hand down grabbed the apple and placed it back on the plate of fruits and pushed the plate back with his finger tips, far from the close reach of his hands. Taking a look at his hands he was surprised at the consistency of the light green aura surrounding them considering the ordeal he just faced. After taking a deep breath and sigh he looked over to the girl in chains as she ate, deciding to make at least one friend here.
"Hi, I'm Jack.. and you are?"
"Eat it" The imitation voice nagged once more before stopping.

His voice seemed to pierce her thoughts, making her jump in her seat. She quickly took more food in, slowly chewing it to buy some time. Even if that guy did know something about her, she couldn't allow them to know anything more by saying her name. It was difficult to tell if any of them could even be trusted. "Chi", she muttered out before taking in another bite hoping he did not want anything else.
Pulling out the small note she read through it again, maybe this one knew what exactly was going on. She pushed the note across the table, giving the boy an inquisitive stare. She could not have been the only one invited to the training room, if so then they must be looking down upon her. "You have one?", the fact that she was choosing so little words was confusing to even her. There was no reason to be nervous even if this was an odd situation. Then again, with thoughts of that older guy looking down on her, she couldn't help but get annoyed.

Sprawled out images of the structure of the two cities littered the pages, a before picture which both cities could be easily described as large villages and after pictures where there was nothing left standing and the closest resemblance it had to anything would be a empty desolate desert.
Jack looked up from the pictres of the book to once again look at Chi as she slid a note across the table. You have one? He looked at the note as it slid through to see the same note he had telling him to eat, and to go to the training room in B2. "Yeah, I used to but I threw it out..." Jack said looking down at the open book before adding "I don't like to keep trash on me..."
A snickering laughter grew in his head.
Hah! You ARE trash!
Jack winced at the new found voice as the words echoed through his head, desperate to ignore it he tried to make conversation with Chi.
"So...how'd you end up here?"
