I am creating a world that I want to write books and series of books for and from. This roleplay is also going to be the book I am working on, and I wanted to see how others would move the story along ^-^


Basic Plot: King Wayvern Dae'maris prophesies the doom of his nation, the valley nation of Ren, but is assassinated before he can tell anyone. His wife, Queen Vahiel, summons heroes from around the nation to join a group that will track down the killer and find out who is responsible. They learn of the prophecy and of its meaning, as the mage of an evil goddess threatens to destroy Ren, the mountainous nation of Hundern that surrounds it, and the desert region of Palarus to the south. These heroes must set out to defeat the mage before he can spell doom for the three nations.


Basic Setting: I have the whole world laid out, but this story only takes place in a small part of it. Four regions should be the only places we actually go to, so i'll describe those places. Ren is the basis of the story, it is a small valley nation in the heart of the Hundern Mountains, which are controlled by dwarves who have been at war with Ren for years. To the south is the desert region of Palarus, which only has one city and the rest is covered by wasteland and nomadic tribes who somehow survive the harsh area. Ren is a fertile, beautiful land with a river that cuts through it. The Hundern Mountains are rocky, rough, and snow capped. To the north lies Krael, a mystical forest area with no sunlight reaching the floor..but it is lit by glowing plants that hang from the canopy. This region is full of strange creatures and elvish tribes.


Because this is based on a book, I have certain roles that need to be filled. The names and personalities are up to you.

Characters
-Main character, played by me, he is a warrior named Adriac Veras
-Sister of the main character, her name has to be Adria Veras (only predetermined name). She is a warrior.
-Mage prodigy, love interest of Adriac.
-Mysterious ranger friend of Adriac.
-Shady thief promised freedom if he cooperates with the heroes
-Priest of the god Jahol, who is the primary god of Ren. (This is an especially important role. I will explain why to whoever picks it)
-Captain of the guard who volunteers to help the heroes.

I will also be playing the mage, whose name is Cazaliph.
