Egan Fez a.ka. "The Weed Whacker" His heart pounded hard against his chest and his legs grew weak for a moment, as he was hit with a burst of panic. He always hated these few seconds, when wrapped in a gust of furious wind, he could not hear a thing outside his cyclone, he felt blind. What an irony it was for Egan that he should excel in air above all elements. He steadied his breath and opened his mind, and now he saw the library, a small toy building that got larger and larger. Onyx flew by him masterfully measuring the distance that would keep her safe from spiraling into the vortex, he saw the raging water spout in of his production, and then the wooden double doors of the entrance. He made haste to get as much against the wall as he could, he lifted his hand up and his kite which had been whirling around in the tornado, it dropped into the storm's center, and he caught it with ease. The gusts slowed down until it was a spinning breeze, the water swirled strangely in a circle of wind, that would be moving to slow to keep it in the air if it weren't being suspended by some mystic force.

With one hand on the head of the kite, and the other on the string he threw it up in the air, as if he were in a park on a nice windy day and intended to fly it. A gust of wind that originated by the now tame cyclone yanked it upwards, it went about the property blowing out all torches. Satisfied with the darkness Onyx saw, Egan withdrew a small empty leather bag from his coat, as soon as it was opened the whirl wind in front of him began to swish into it's opened mouth water and all. Egan held tightly to the bag and the kite's string, he resisted the force of the wind. Closing the bag loosely he then began wrapping the kite's sting round his arm. Was it possible that the library was now open 24 hours a day? It was to late to turn back now, Egan opened the doors in full, and let out some of the wind from his bag, he directed it at all but one torch. Onxy was on top of a bookshelf behind the stranger, he could see the back of the boy's head more importantly his clothes he bared the garb of someone who worked for the royal archives, as far as he could tell. Egan instantly disliked him anyone who worked for anything to do with royalty that didn't involved a mop, bucket, or cooking pots must be a blood sucking noble. He saw his own shocked face, he molded it into a threatening scowl just in case it were possible for the boy to see it in the dim light. "Don't move" he said as sternly as he could muster, but his voice was rather hoarse as he was nervous at the way the situation was spinning out of control. He motioned for Onyx to begin flying, she swooped and zagged in and out of the corridors of books, Egan reading the labels, with any luck he could be out of here with what he wanted, without having to hurt the little leech.
