Leena had spent her entire night out in The Hallow. She was a bit dirty, though not too bad considering the ground was frozen from the cold that winter was holding in the area. She had her jacket tightly wrapped around her for fear of illness. She quickly made her way back to the castle. She knew she would be in trouble for not telling anybody where she had gone nor taking a guard with her. She figured she didn't need a guard and she didn't want one following her, for she wanted no one to know about The Hallow. She feared if they found out about it, they would cut it down and she would have no place to go anymore.
As she reached the castle entrance she heard people arguing and scurrying about franticly, she knew she was in trouble now, someone had noticed she was gone. Ever since her brother, the prince, died they had been on her like a fox to a rabbit. She opened the door to the castle and stepped inside quickly.

"Did you have fun Le?" Draruto asked from the shadows near the stairs. coming out from under the stairs, he wondered where she disappeared to last night. But being the one to nose around, he just shrugged inwardly and waited for her response.

Leena jumped a bit and looked at him, "you scared me Ruto." She took a deep breath and walked over to him, "yeah, i guess you could say i had 'fun'." sje added air quotes to that last word and smiled a bit. She looked around, "how much trouble do you think i'm in?" She wasn't too nervous, but she really didn't feel like getting in to more trouble, she just wasn't in the mood for that sort of thing.

"Who knows, you know that I don't keep tab on the going ons in the castle." he replied in his trade mark tone that he used to tell of his indiffrence to the castle life. With a sigh, Draruto hugged Leena and poked her on the forehead. "You need better ears Le."

Jasmin was standing in a blind spot just above the staircase leading to the castle doors. She was watching as the royal house fussed over the princess, who, as she had a habit of doing, had gone 'missing'. Jasmin wasn't worried, she knew Leena well enought to know that she was more than likely spending a little time alone, time to think. The past weeks had been stressful for Leena afterall. Jasmin rolled her eyes at the overdramatic scene going on below. Just then, movement caught her eye. At the base of the stairs, in shadow, she saw the heads of a man and a girl. Wait? Was that...? Leena. Time for Jasmin to step in... She quietly scurried down the steps, and ducked into the shadow. "Princess, do you know how much of a fit you've caused?" she whispered, sounding a little more edgy than she meant to. She looked into the princesses eyes, giving her a 'what the hell?!' kind of glare.

Leena smiled, she knew he didn't really pay attention to what goes on in her home, but she liked to hear him say because he was really the only person she had met who didn't care about it. She hugged back and laughed when he poked her forehead, "i don't need better ears. I just wasn't expecting you to be lurking around like a creeper in the shadows i wouldn't have jumped," she said teasingly with a smile.
When she heard Jasmin's voice she sighed a bit, "they cause a fuss over the silliest things though Jasmine. Why should i be bothered by their little fits?" She looked at her and saw the look she was getting from her and her smile faded automatically.

Jasmin softened her look as Leena's smile faded. She knew she was being harsh, but she was tired of taking crap for not looking after Leena closely enough. Jasmin wasn't her babysitter last time she checked, she was her assistant. She nodded in agreement with Leena. "You're right. Maybe we can get out of trouble this time, but we have to hurry..." she turned to the boy. It was Leena's friend Draruto. She felt rude for not greeting him earlier, and corrected herself. "Hey, I'd love to stay and chat but..." she looked back at Leena questioningly,"You gonna face those psychos, or should we be going?"

"Right, you always say when I pull my 'suddenly appearing ninja' act." Glancing the other person that happened to duck in, he said, "Hm." he also didn't much care for Leena's assistant. 'Assistant? Yeah right, more like uptight nursemaid in my oppinion.' he thought with slight hint of annoyce on his face.

Leena nodded, "i'm gonna do the one that doesn't have to do with facing the psychos." She looked back at Draruto and saw he look on his face and couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Now come on guys, let's go," she looked at them both.

Jasmin looked around the corner of the staircase, internally grumbling, she never did like that boy, he was always getting Leena into trouble, which ended up getting Jasmin into trouble. When she noticed that no phychos were paying attention, she glanced over her shoulder and nodded. "Draruto, if you walk behind Leena, I'll walk beside her, and we can probably get past these guys. Cool?" She waited for either their approval or a better plan.

Ignoring Jasmin, which came easy to him, decided to go to Leena's room and skim through one of her romance novels. "Next time you decide to 'vanish' Le," he started to say while adding air apostasies, "call me, I'll give you pointers." Backing into the shadows, he disappeared and popped into Leena's closet. Which caused to curse because everything fell on him with a loud crash. "F........u.......c....k." he growled out as he got to hands and knees. 'Girls and their obsession with clothes.' Draruto mused semi heatedly to himself.

Leena and Jasmin got into the room she looked at Jasmin, "if you get yelled at i'm sorry." She put on the best attempt at an innocent smile that she possibly could, she knew if Jasmin got yelled out for her absence, her day wasn't going to be very fun. "I just," she paused for a moment to think, "i just needed to get out for the night. It's not my fault they freak." She looked at Draruto as he got out of the closet and she couldn't help but laugh.

"Glad to be of service Leena, would like me to pop out of the latrines next, or maybe come out of that pretty trouble loving head of yours?" he says mockly, while shaking off her panties and standing up. Then he sighed, grabbed a romance novel, and plopped himself, width wise, on her bed and started reading.

She laughs more, "actually i think i would find that first one very amusing," she says teasingly. She watched as he grabbed one of her books and started reading, "why do you like to read my books? Trying to get all romantic for some girl?" She asked in a teasing tone. She sat on the very edge of her bed and looked at Jasmin.

Leena found this to be the perfect time to throw in a joke or two so she leans down to his ear whispers, "it's Jasmin isn't it?" She sits back up with a huge playful smile on her face, "i knew those i hate you acts were all fake! I bet you guys sneak around and meet up when i'm not around don't you?" She looks at Jasmin, "oh boy, but if you guys love and hate each other at the same time, imagine the friction in that relationship! Talk about hooooooot!" She started laughing and looked at them both to see their reactions.

Jasmin was relaxing now that she knew they were out of trouble, just relaxing and watching the comodity going on between Leena and Draruto. As Leena joked about her secret afair with Draruto, Jasmin just rolled her eyes and smiled. She had to admit, it was funny. Afterall Draruto didn't bother hiding the malice he felt towards her. Yet it stung to hear his reply 'your uptight nursemaid'. What has Jasmin ever done to him? So what if she voiced her dissaproval with his behavior, she never did it directly or cruelly. She just hated catching crap from the plans he made with Leena. She practically jumped up from her seat- suddenly angered by the comment. "Dude?! What is your. Problem?!" her voice was louder than she intended. And she felt that Leena wouldn't like her yelling at her best friend. "Sorry Leena, but he crossed the line." The comment was disrespectful to Jasmin... and she didn't like it.

Leena wasn't really expected his more like you actually comment, but before she could say anything Jasmin was up and furious. She was a bit surprised at how loud Jasmin's voice was though. She looked at her then at Draruto then back at Jasmin. "It's fine Jasmin," she smacked Draruto's knee, "you mister Ruto, attempt to be a tad bit nicer," then she looked back at Jasmin, "but don't yell. This is a happy room." She pointed at Draruto, "happy!" She quickly pointed back at Jasmin, "room!" She folded her arms across her chest, crossed her right leg over the other and looked away from them both, "hmph." She wasn't really mad of course, she just wanted to see their reactions. When she threw little fits like this she never really meant them, most of the time, when she meant them, you could tell.

Jasmin sat back down, and sucked in a breath. She closed her eyes, and calmed herself. She opened her eyes and glared at Draruto for the shortest moment before relaxing her face and looked to Leena, who was giving the two of them the 'cold shoulder'. Jasmin rolled her eyes internally but give a little I'm-sorry-but-won't-admit-it half smile to Leena. 'HappyRoomHappyRoom..' she kept repeating inside her head.

"Only when she's nice here." he replied, keeping his tone neutral. While wishing someone he knew was here to play buffer, Draruto heard someone curse. Then another yelled, "Why are two birds or prey circling around the princess's room." He grined almost evilfully, "Le, open the window before your parents' stupid archers try to kill my friends."

"I was being plenty nice!" Jasmin rolled her eyes. At the sound of new voices, she jumped, being on edge with the events of the night. She glaced at Draruto as he told the princess to open the window. She wondered why he could get away with commanding the royalty around, but didn't let it bother her for too long. Jasmin stood, "I'll get it Leena," she offered. She headed to the window, wondering what the look on Draruto's face implied, and why the archers would shoot his friends. What kind of psycho was this guy?

Leena heard the voices and looked at Draruto and Jasmin and watched as Jasmin went to the window. She saw the evil grin on Draruto's face and she laughed a bit and took her hand and covered his face, "don't do that you creeper," she said teasingly.
