Introduction
Up until recently the various science fiction universes were blissfully unaware of each other. They continued their struggles against the aliens and other enemies present within their own worlds. All that changed when a massive portal simultaneously appeared in each unique universe. It was a portal to another dimension, neutral and (as far as anyone knows), uninhabited. Each universe sent scouts to try to claim this dimension for themselves, unaware of the existence of the other universes. That was, until they met. Fighting broke out near instantly, and quickly escalated as greater and greater forces were sent in to claim the dimension for their own cause. In orbit, Imperial Star Destroyers take on UNSC warships, whilst on numerous planets Space Marines face off against hordes of Starship Troopers.
It is a time of absolute carnage.
Amidst this turmoil each of you, for one reason or another, has boarded a ship that was found drifting around the system. It belongs to no discernible forces, and it is thought that there is technology on board which could help turn the tide of the war. Shortly after getting aboard however you all have inexplicably lost contact with friendly forces. Trapped on a ship the size of a small planet, there is still a hope of escape. Little do each of you realise that other factions are onboard the ship as well. When it becomes apparent that the ship is on a collision course with a nearby star, time is of the essence. Can you successfully meet up, and work together to escape the deathtrap? Or will you all die, too proud to co-operate?

3. Please post often.
4. Characters may come from ANY science fiction universe.
5. Try to stick to human factions. If you really want to play an alien species that's ok, but make sure they're sentient.
6. No original canons please. We do not need to see Darth Vader getting melted by the Sun. :P

This is the auto-generated OOC topic for the roleplay "The Sci-Fi Wars"
In addition to the stuff in the introduction I should also mention that the conflicts within each universe have come to a tense, uneasy and temporary stalemate until the dimension war has been won. Basically this means that, for example, forces from the Empire and the Rebel Alliance (both Star Wars) are not at war, though there should still be a hefty amount of tension between the two.
