In the beginning, before the time of Mortals, there was a war between the Sovereigns, the beings of light who ruled the Great Spire, and the Dark Ones, who were born of the Void. The two sides fought over the great power known as Chaos, which would grant either side emmense power. However, the conflict between the Sovereigns and the Dark Ones was ripping a hole into Existence. This rip also created the stars, suns, moons, and planets that exist today. In their struggle, the two forces lost track of Chaos, who was cast into one of the planets. Chaos, residing upon the planet, created life on it; plants, landforms, animals, and the Mortals. Chaos also created a temple around itself, protected from the Sovereigns and the Dark Ones, only to be awakened by the Mortals.

Planet of Galanite, continent of Inira, year 833.
The Delmartyr Empire and the Kingdom of Audrio are at war, each army controls a side of Inira. The Delmartyr Empire is slowly taking over all of Inira, enforcing total dictation on the land, but it is not enough. The emperor searches for a way to end the war and become supreme ruler of Inira, and possibly the rest of Galanite. He is told of a lost temple, created in the beginning of Galanite's time, by an Oracle of Existence. He was told the temple contained Chaos, the very force the Sovereigns and Dark Ones fought over. He was told he could use this awesome power to bring about the destruction of his enemies and restore the wold to his glory.

Meanwhile, the war is plaguing the nations. Famine, high taxes, just footnotes of the terrible things the war has done. Mercenary factions have arisen to assist the two armies as well, who frequently raid towns and cities, and are paid through taxes.

Now, our story starts with you. Where do you stand? Are you with the Empire, or shall you fight with Audrio and their mercenary allies. Or will you choose to stand alone? This is your story.

1. No godmodding. You aren't this all powerful warrior who fell monsters with a single blow.
2. Be literate. For the love of God, be literate. Capitalization, punctuation, correct spelling.
3. Language is allowed.
4. Romance is allowed.
5. Don't be stupid. Don't put stupid posts of you doing something inhuman or immoral. If you do something that deserves that you die, you will die.
6. Be lengthy in posts. No one liner posts and no quick epic battle posts. Minor battles can be one post long, but epic ones should at least be three pretty long posts.
7. PM me the word "Galanite" before submitting your character profile to prove that you read the rules.
