Description: http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/059/2/9/risu_tamashii_02_by_mourningwolf95-d3amehp.jpg (<--Yeah! I drew that picture!)Risu has silver-gray hair that stops just below his shoulder blades. His eyes are a solid, pale blue and very expressive. No matter how hard he tries, his eyes are constantly betraying each and every emotion he feels, making it quite difficult to hide his intentions and weaknesses. A black headband keeps his hair back and contrasts sharply with the pale color of his hair. It's obvious he's a traveler from his tanned skin. Equally obvious is the fact that he keeps a cautious eye on the sun by the fact that he isn't nearly as tanned as he could be. Standing at 5'9", he gives off the impression of a large but friendly dog rather than a giant.
Personal Notes: To be quite honest, Risu is a bit of a coward (see his personality). He's also terrified of any form of water larger than a puddle (meaning he can't swim worth squat and will often take large detours around lakes and the like).
Risu is the quiet type, preferring to listen rather than talk. When he does talk, he rarely gives out any kind of information directly unless he feels like it. He enjoys riddles, mind puzzles, word games, and other activities that exercise the brain. Because of this, he has the amazing ability to talk for hours without actually saying anything useful. No matter how much he prefers to listen, he still demands to be heard. He tends to speak his mind and often voices his thoughts out loud. This often gets him into trouble but it's a habit that he hasn't broken yet.
Violence is usually a last resort for solving a problem mainly because he's weak. Physically, Risu is built to run and is quite good at any activity that involves running for long periods of time. He's not built for physical violence and would much rather avoid a fight if at all possible. He'll attack with words, prying out secrets or memories that can be used as a weapon, but when the words lead to blows, he tries to get away as fast as possible.
Despite being quiet, Risu does get angry quite easily. A careless comment can lead to a violent verbal thrashing from him before he insists on ignoring the person for as long as possible. However, no matter how angry he gets, it takes quite a lot to get him to attack another person physically.
Risu specializes in the use of long-distance weapons, his favorite being the bow and arrow. He carries several throwing knives, a quiver full of arrows, and a bow. He also has a walking stick and a backpack with his basic necessities (a change of clothes, emergency food, medical supplies, etc.).
Risu had always been fascinated by words. Since he was young, he had learned that if one were to listen and phrase sentences in just the right way, one could gain vast amounts of knowledge. This tidbit of information was quickly stored away for further experimentation while he busied himself with expanding his vocabulary. For years, he did nothing but talk. He learned new way of phrasing sentences to give a seemingly innocent question a deeper, sometimes sinister, meaning. By the time he was 11, everyone that knew him agreed that he had to be the most annoying individual they had ever met. Naturally, Risu picked up on this and, not wishing to annoy anyone further, quickly silenced his questions. He still continued to practice his new ways of talking, but he stopped speaking to those around him unless spoken to. At the same time, he poured his heart and soul into learning how to use a bow and arrow.
At 19, he left the village. Tired of not being able to talk and experiment without annoying those around him, Risu simply got up and left. He took a backpack, bow, and quiver of arrows and walked right out of the village. Why should he stay? After all, for him, there was no greater joy than confusing someone or catching an unwitting victim with one of his word games. If no one wanted to play his games, then he was determined to find someone that would. He still doesn't know if anyone noticed the fact that he had left, nor does he particularly care.
Risu had always had suspicions and an unexplainable fear of water. There was no particular reason or meaning behind his fear of water nor was it really that bad. It only really became a problem shortly after he left the village. Walking too close to the edge of a pond, he hit a slick patch of mud and fell in. Which really wouldn't have been so bad if his foot hadn't twisted itself and gotten stuck in some debris stuck firmly in the wood. Well, he didn't die (or he wouldn't have continued wandering around, now would he?) but his suspicions about the evils of water were only deepened.
Beyond that, nothing interesting has really happened to him. He continues to wander around, talking to people and experimenting with words. Everyone that has met him can agree on one thing about him; he's more annoying than anyone could imagine. He's often compared to a fox because of his word games and the fact that he always seems to gather information that no one wants him to know (which isn't entirely true and leads to people often believing that he knows things when he doesn't).
