OOC Notes
The Ae'Magi had so many spells and so much power working in his castle that the day Aralorn escaped her last encounter with the Ae'Magi had her nearly exposing everything right down to her favorite toy as a child. The fear that she was that close to saying it had her panicking and when the Ae'Magi had gone to bed she'd fled through a passage beneath the castle and shifted into a sparrow and flew until she'd reached home. The first day back she'd been examined by Rin's personal medicine man and determined she was alright, but she feared she'd been exposed to the magic for too long and something was wrong with her. News came the second day that the Prince of Ren had vanished and the Spymaster had inducted her to seek him out. It was said the Ae'Magi's assassin shoto had attacked the Prince and failed with his death and the Prince was said to have been the next in line for the throne. If he was not returned in a weeks time someone else could take it, everyone knew the Ae'Magi wanted it. And he was now strong enough in power to take it, the only thing keeping him at bay was he needed the Prince dead first. With little else for information Aralorn packed lightly for the trip and set out at dusk. Rin warned her that if the Ae'Magi had any inkling of who she was he'd send people to Sianim soon so she had to leave quickly. Wolf had appeared to escort her to the borders and watched with his own frustrations as the woman he loved entered the territory of the werebeasts. Rin had instructed Wolf to remain with him, stating clearly that Aralorn had to fulfill her goal alone. Aralorn traveled until morning then found herself a hideaway in the hallowed trunk of a tree, there she slept until a noise awoke her some hours later. Peering out her eyes sought the reason for the noise, but it's owner had not known themselves.

He was one of her servants, recently acquired upon entering West Anthar, and had been keeping his ears open for any political news. Although she was perfectly capable of gaining the information herself, she didn't even have to use her powers. All it took was a flutter of her unaturally long eyelashes at the right aristocrat and he would be telling her all about the topic of her choice. The trouble with that was, the aristocratic ego. Men would only tell her what they thought she needed to know. And she didn't want to resort to her powers. No, just using the boy was much easier.
Besides, he had done well.
So, the royal line was threatened. Her family had never been big supporters of the royal family in the first place but even they hadn't questioned their power, now it appeared it was crumbling. As for this Ae'Magi, well he certainly sounded like an interesting character. As a young girl, Sabe had never shown interest in politics but now that she intended to retake her place in society, it was clear that she needed to allign herself with power. That was something the Archmage had.
"You have done well." She said smoothly, smiling alluringly at the boy. "Now, go down to the stable and take one of the horses. Ride ahead to the castle of the Ae'Magi, inform him that you misteress will arrive soon and requests an audience with his lordship."
"Yes my lady." He said, bowing before leaving the room.
"But my lady," Said the young girl stood next to her. "If we are going to the castle anyway why do you need to send word ahead? If it is not too bold of me to ask."
"Of course not dear Leena." Sabe replied. "We have to send word ahead, it would be impolite to just turn up unnanounced wouldn't it?"
"Of course my lady, how silly of me." Leena said, bowing her head.
Leena was the only servant who wasn't expendable. It wasn't that she was particularly entertaining or talented, it was just that her job was the most important.
She was Sabe's guide.
Sabe still hadn't fully adapted to being blind yet. The glass eyes helped focus her powers on sight but didn't let her see easily. She needed a companion constantly. Even returning to her old home, Sabe was yet to get used to walking around without Leena. Leena wouldn't leave her, she couldn't.
Sabe smiled to herself, wishing she could see the fear in Leena's eyes. The boy had it too, that was the only way to tell when a Des-Vord had enslaved someone, their words and movements were normal but their eyes... eratic and fearful for eternity.

Ithir had been on the move the entire day, his left arm hung limp where a large gash ran along his already brutally scarred bicep, pausing to take his hand from the wound he licked the blood away from it.
"Waste not want not."
Grunting he flung his pack down and began unbuckling his armor, his heavy bearskin cloak came first, a recent acquisition from a large specimen he had slain weeks before.
Suddenly a soft rustling alerted him and his head snapped up, wary of the dangers of Myr he swiftly drew the large sword from his back,
backpedaling he rested his back against a large tree trunk for a moment while his eyes tried to locate the source of the threat.
As he bumped against the tree trunk he heard a soft gasp, barely audible and no doubt expertly suppressed, were it not for his training and natural "gifts" it would've gone unnoticed.
Thrusting his sword into the ground he crept to the trunk and hooked his fingers under small cracks in its hull, pulling roughly he hanked off a good portion off it revealing a beautiful woman inside. Gaping in shock Ithir threw aside the wood and chuckled while extending his hand,
"Zorsk be praised, today must be my day, since when did the begin hiding maidens in trees?" Ithir reflected for a moment and studied to womans clothing which was above average quality, and added,
"You would'nt happen to know anything about the Prince would you?"

The souls of men were easily manipulated and required little effort to contain, standing over the corpse of a recently deceased young mage The Ae'Magi shivered in ecstasy as he pulled a small white sphere of energy from the young mans breast and forced it into a large crystal ball.
"Ahhhh.....sweet rapture."
Leaving the corpse to the rats he climbed the stairs to his private chambers and set the crystal back on its pedestal before sitting and opening a large tome. A loud knock at his chamber door sounded and he grunted a reluctant "Enter."
A small sweaty man strode into his room and stood there for a few moments as the Ae'Magi ignored his presence, finally the worm had the audacity to clear his throat. Raising his eyes from the tome the Ae' Magi snapped the book closed and stood, walking with swift ernest toward the young man he stopped scant inches from his face. In an almost unheard of gesture of generosity the Ae'Magi granted the boy a few moments to convey his message.
"Well boy what is it?"
The young man sweated again for a moment before babbling something about his mistresses approach and the request of an audience. As he pondered this develoupment the Ae'Magi smiled and resolved to check on the slave girl Aralorn later, she was such an amusing little one.
My lord?
Realizing the simpleton had been waiting for an answer the Ae'Magi turned to him.
"Is she beautiful?"
Pardon?"
"Is she attractive worm? Are you simple?"
Oh! My apologies sir, yes the lady Stoneheart is quite alluring.
"Hmpf at least theres that, send my warmest regards, tell her to come at her leisure, that'll be all."
As the man walked out the Ae'Magi contacted his captain of the guard telepathically.
{Baurus, if that man ever returns have him killed but save the heart, the weak such as him always have interesting ones, as well as the best tasting.}
Satisfied he decided the girl could wait on his attentions as he sat and resumed his readings.
"Hmm.....human sacrifice, fascinating, must remember to try that next time."
OOC Notes
It had always been like this, whenever William did something he shouldn't do, there was pain. Walking in the wrong direction? Pain. Not listening to the Ae'Magi when he adressed him? Pain. Disobeying his master? Pain. Despite that, William didn't fear the Ae'Magi. He agreed with his methods, an unruly slave should be punished. Whatever his master told him, William beliefed and would fight to defend the Ae'Magi's statement, be it verbally or physically.
Lately William had felt off, feeling this sickening something in his stomach, not able to keep his gaze from blurring at times. He knew it were the spells, it had to be the spells, but William couldn't do anything to undermine them, he was no mage. He wasn't a warrior either. The only thing he had been was in the past now, it was no more. William was a slave and he had to deal with it.
After pushing away the feeling, William let out the slightest of sighs, closing his eyes for a moment. But they opened quickly after, the feeling returning, making William feel at least twice as worse. Suddenly an image appeared in his mind. It was that Aralorn, that other slave that served the Ae'Magi. Anger began to arise in William, but he didn't move. Somehow, he blamed her for his misfortune. After three years of serving the Ae'Magi, William had felt like he had a place, not longer fearing for his life. Okay, there was this pain, but it didn't stay for long, like it would if it had been a flesh wound. But now, the Ae'Magi hardly ever called for William, instead he let Aralorn serve him.
The world spinned, but even then the man stood there, not conracting a single muscle, excluding the ones that kept him alive, like his lungs. But even those seemed to move much less that was healthy. The sickening feeling had disappeared, but the anger was still there. It was Aralorn's fault, it had to be! Now that there was someone to replace him, William couldn't help but fear for his life every so often.
Why did the Ae'Magi favour her instead of him? Hadn't he been loyal for a much longer time? Of course, how could he be so stupid! It was because Aralorn was a woman, even William wouldn't deny she was beautiful. He had seen her once, but it had been enough. In his time as a free man, William had seen a lot of women, but only a few were as much of an eye catcher as Aralorn. William got more and more jealous as the time passed, angrier as well.
And finally he moved, William wanted to take a step, he wanted to get rid of these feelings, whatever it took.
"Aarghh!"
William lay on the floor, stretching his legs as far as he could. He had cramps in his legs, it hurted a lot. Much more than regular cramps, William knew this. He had triggered another spell, but the pain didn't go away. Non the less, he kept stretching his legs, his primal instinct telling him to do that. When someone had cramps, the first thing they would want to do is unstretch the muscle with cramps, but that would only make it worse, they would have to stretch the muscle to get rid of the pain. But it didn't help!
This was because of what inflicted the pain. It was no natural reaction, no; magic did this. The aching wasn't physical, it was only in his head. He felt the pain, but it wasn't really there. Like that, William would survive much more pain than a human should be able to, until he passed out. Like every slave, his body was strong, but his mind was chained, perhaps even taken away. Why waste such a strong henchman if you could also let him work for you without questioning anything you did? There was fear, yes, but as far as William knew, there was nothing to do about it. The fear wasn't a motivation to get away from this place, although something in him wanted his mind back. If only the effects of those spells would be decreased.

"Unfortunately I have important business to attend to at the moment, it cannot wait. The money I have left covers the time I have already been here and another night, keep it whether I return or not." Sabe responded, letting one of her manservants hand her into the coach.
"Oh thank you my lady, that is exceedingly generous of you most gracious lady." The innkeeper responded, bowing frantically as the door of the coach shut.
"Drive on." Sabe called out to the driver, ignoring the compliments of the innkeeper as they started to make their way along.
It would not take long to reach the castle but Sabe intended to take a slightly longer route.
"I see the site my lady, it's exactly how they described it."
Her hands tensed up.
In her conversations with the other aristocrats, she had discovered that no one had ever attempted to rebuilt Stoneheart Manor or even cleared the rubble. It was all just a pile of wood and stone, even the bodies had not been removed. Sabe felt no remorse for what she had done, but if she was to retake her place in society such reminders must be removed. Thankfully no one knew the reason for the destruction, no one was even sure Sabe had escaped until she had introduced herself. And she intended to keep it that way.
After a longer time than Sabe had expected, Leena noticed something up ahead.
"I see the entrance to the castle my lady, we will be there shortly."
"Thank you Leena, I wonder if..."
"MY LADY!"
Sabe didn't need Leena to tell her that it was the boy from earlier who had shouted.
"Stop the coach." She ordered, holding her hand out of the window for the boy to take. "I trust you delivered my message."
"Indeed my lady." He said, taking her hand in a respectful manner. "But..."
"But?" Sabe's tone had suddenly become more deadly and icily dangerous.
"I have been a dissappointment my lady, my appearance before the archmage was a disgrace." If he had control of his own mind, he would not have told her that. People often underestimated the power of the Des-Vord, how when you were broken there was no turning back. "Please forgive me."
"Um, should we not carry on my lady?" Leena asked.
"Not yet, this is an important matter." Sabe said slowly, her hand sliding out of his hand and reaching out to find the boy's face. "I think my boy, you should retire."
With that, she dug her nails into his eye sockets and gauged out his eyes, clasping them in her hand.
"Continue." The coach began to drive on.
"I think the guards saw that."
"Well then, they have something to report to their master." Sabe responded, smiling as she imagined the boy on the street, blood pouring from the empty eye sockets.

Now that he had returned he had learned about the slave that had escaped. Theon had been suspicious towards her, since she arrived in the castle of his master. It was not because he was worried about someone offering herself or himself as a servant to the Archmage. This happened more frequently during the last few days and weeks. Common people always tried to stay on the winning side of a war that was occurring, even if it was a secret one. Those that came to seek shelter in return for their freedom usually didn't think they had much choice, so they were closer to the truth than those nobles. However this specific one looked different to Theon. It looked like there was another aura veiling and protecting her, as if she wore the skin of another. He didn't need to inform the Ae'Magi about this, his master of course already knew about it. For a reason the wise and powerful man had decided to work slowly on her, taking her mind over with slow soothing spells, rather than by force. Theon wasn't the one to question these methods and as he was away, could do nothing against the escape of the shapeshifter. With slow careful steps did the servant of the Archmage approach the 'throne room' of his master. He could see one of the young apprentices leaving the room, seemingly enlightened by the wisdom of the Ae'Magi. It's right that Theon couldn't see his face, nor anything else with his eyes, but every emotion had an impact on the person's own aura, especially if you are born with certain magical potential. The young man moved on, ignoring the apprentice that stepped out of the way. A hint of the Archmage's presence hovered around the head of one of the guards, Theon would even be able to understand what message lied in it, but he was ordered not to do so, so he just moved on. The large wings of the door opened themselves as Theon stepped before them. If the Ae'Magi wouldn't wish for him to enter, the doors would have remained shut. He stepped into the room, next to him he could sense the personal slave of his master breaking to the floor in pain. Whatever he had done to displease the Archmage, he surely deserved this punishment. Theon stepped a little further, till he was in front of his Master. For him this room held no shadows, it was bright, shining from the power of the man in front of him. Without hesitation did Theon let himself drop to his knees and lower his head to ground. He would be here, if it wasn't important. He came straight to the point, not wasting much of his masters precious time.
"Hello Master, I came to address the matter of Aralorn. You might wish for someone to be send out to capture her."
OOC Notes
"Zorsk be praised, today must be my day, since when did the begin hiding maidens in trees?"
Aralorn growled softly and remarked. "Today is not your lucky day and I was merely resting in a place where no one should have noticed me" her words were filled with a slight hostile tone, but when she realized the hair on the back of her neck was not standing on ends she figured he must not be one of the bad guys. But suddenly he asked "You wouldn't happen to know anything about the Prince would you?"
The question left her curious, but she shook her head instead as a response and leaned against the tree.
"The Prince of Ren has been claimed missing. I've been hired to find him. But I must ask what business do you have with our Prince?"
she could not name the man for he'd not said what he name was. So she chose to not give her name right away either. There weren't exactly other Aralorns in the Kingdom, her name was as unique as she was. "I have my hunches, but I wont discuss them with you stranger. I don't know what side you are on so giving you the information I have would put me a sticky situation. And that is not something I plan on doing" her cobalt blue eyes shifted to violet for a second before returning to their natural color.
"This could go a lot faster if you give me your name, your reasoning for seeking the Prince out and your purpose with him when you find him. If you haven't noticed he's a wanted man by both sides. But the side of the Ae'Magi wishes him dead. Which side are you on?" Aralorn wasn't one to waste time with beating around the bush with answers or questions, straight and narrow the Spymaster had taught her.
"Do you know who I am?" she wondered, if he did she could assume right away he was one of the Ae'Magi's assassins, only the Ae'Magi would know her name, she'd never been to Ren therefore no one would know her. Her eyes watched him intently to see how his pupils dilated when he responds, his body language and the tone he took. Being a shapeshifter gave her a slight advantage to noting these things in order to find out one's true purpose. If that didn't work she'd use her other gift on him and seek out the answer's herself.
OOC Notes
Therron could understand why the man would be afraid. He wasn't a small man, and with his dark cloak covering him from head to toe, along with his violet eyes, which were most likely glowing at the moment, allowing him to see in the dark, he probably looked like a reaper from the old stories his mothr used to tell, there to collect his soul. He had to admit, he kind of enjoyed the effect it had on the less courageous.
"Don't bother." He told the man, leaning against the wall as if he belonged there. "None of your guards are currently conscious. It's just the two of us right now."
"Wha-what do you want from me?" The scrawny mage asked, trying his best to regain a bit of composure. "Do you have any idea who I am?"
Therron chuckled, somewhat amused. It was always the same with the damnable magic users. Didn't matter if it were in Thuora, Jetaine, or wherever. "To be honest.. no. I knew your name at some point, but have since forgotten. Meaningless details tend to slip my mind."
"The question is..." he continued, walking over to the man slowly, leaning down until they were face to face. "Do you know who I am?"
"I most certainly do not." The mage said, playing at indignation. "I have no enemies. I don't know why anyone would want me dead-"
"Oh, stop." Therron said, cutting him off. "Use that so-called intellect of yours, mage. If I wanted to kill you, you and everyone in this building would be dead, and no one would have known I was ever here. Killing magic users is my specialty after all."
"Wait..." The mage began, a look of grim recognition on his pale face. "Dressed in black from head to toe... glowing violet eyes... You can't be the-"
"Yes... I can. I am."
"No!" The mage cried out, clumsily rising to his feet. "It can't be!"
"Calm down..." Therron said with a hint of a warning in his voice. But he mage was already in full panic.
Mumbling some incantation Therron couldn't understand, the air between then shimmered like the haze caused by heat during the summer. By the time the fireball burst into being, Therron had already jumped back, his right hand on the handle of his nodachi.
"If I kill you, everyone will know the name of-"
"I thought I told you it didn't matter what your name was." Therron said calmly, cutting the man off once again.
"Die!" the man said, as the fireball launched across the room. From his perspective, Therron was completely engulfed by the large ball of flame.
And then, it abruptly split it two, the halves each going to Therron's sides like a rivers' flow diverted by a stone. And a second later, the mage was pinned against the wall by his neck, with the tip of Therron's sword against his throat.
"Please don't kill me! Please!" The man wailed as he gasped for air. "I'll give you anything you want, I-"
"Silence, worm!" Therron growled, pressing the tip of his blade harder against the man's throat to accentuate his point.
Once the little man stopped squealing, he continued. "I have a simple question to ask you, and I want you to think long and hard about the answer. Do you understand?"
The man nodded in response.
"Do you know how to nullify a devil's contract?"
After a few moments, the mage responded. "It would depend on the terms of the contract. If the terms of the deal are violated, the contract is voided."
"So..." Therran began, loosening his grip a bit. "If, for example, the terms were for the contractor to live... the only way to get out of it would be for him to die?"
"Yes." The mage replied, finally able to breathe properly again. "Or for the contractor to kill the devil in question, but... that's just short of impossible."
"As I thought..." Therron replied, sounding utterly defeated, releasing his hold on the mage entirely, and returning his weapon to its' place on his back.
" I suppose a significantly powerful mage could undo the contract..." The man continued as Therron walked away. "But... it would take a extremely powerful magic user. Likely someone on the level of an Archmage."
"Thank you for the information." Therron said, not looking back. "I'll see myself out."
It was dawn by the time Therron made it to Jetaine, which was too bad, since he was definitely in need of a drink. It seemed he'd just have to make due with renting a room for the time being.
OOC Notes
Waving at him she called out. "THERRON" she began walking towards him her footsteps gaining momentum as she neared him. "Hey Therron where have you been?" she asked as she came up next to his horse. "Emerse said you'd disappeared last night without a word of where you were going?" her deep blue eyes fell upon his face and she gave him a questionable look. "You know it's not safe to travel alone, had I know you were going on a personal trip I'd have gone with you. Next time take me with you" she smacked his leg in a playful manner. "Now I must be off to temple, if I'm late they'll have my hide" she turned and began walking away only glancing back once to eye Therron, she'd known him only a year or two but they seemed to be friends at least to her.
OOC Notes
The longer Therron knew her, the more he grew to like her. If not for their friendship, he'd still drifting like the wind from place to place. She seemed to him to be his living, breathing antithesis. The light to his darkness. In every way, she was his opposite, from their hair colors to their personalities.
Seeing her brought a smile to his face, although it slipped a bit once she mentioned temple. He and the gods were not on good terms.
His father had been a devout servant of Atquila, but what had she done to help him in his time of need? Chasm? It was one of his children who had turned his life into the nightmare it had become. Atheli? Where was her light when he needed it most? And Dagomar.. he hated him most of all. As the god of fate, he was the one who had allowed these events to be set in motion. No... the only God Therron still had any faith in anymore was Gorshan, who all living things feared, whose power and presence was seen and felt at all times, all over the world.
"Maybe I'll be seeing him sooner than I thought..." Therron said to himself grimly as he tethered his horse outside the tiny home he rented. his good mood totally ruined at this point. He could feel the devil's mark on his chest pulsating, as it always did when he got angry, or when his mood soured.
He walked inside, removing his cloak, and all his weapons, placing them in their designated places. He removed his armor, and laid down on his small, bumpy bed, lost in thought, as he waited for sleep to come.

"My daughter, do not deny me your mother Goddess Politisia. I come to you and ask your help. From the skies I cannot stop what is happening but you can my child. As a Demi God Vitalia you have the chance to help save the Kingdom of Ren. The other Gods are sending two more of their own to assist you and the Lady Aralorn. I bless you with the task of fighting against the Ae'Magi and his Uriah and restoring the Prince of Ren to the throne. I must caution you daughter of mine. If the Ae'Magi takes the throne before the Prince does he will unleash an evil that which will destroy the world, already our hands are tied and we cannot fight him." pulling back Politisia frowned and stepped back. "Therron will go if you go he is the other chosen, trust only the ones that wish to save Ren. Now go my daughter."
A thunderous crack echoed through the temple leaving the priestesses bowing at the feet of the statue as Vitalia stood there still in shock and disbelief. Blinking she backed away slowly and turning on her heels took off out of the temple and down the main walkway towards her home. Reaching her room she stood in the middle shaking trying to make sense of it all. Suddenly a burning sensation was felt on her right shoulder, it grew intense as the outline of a snake formed bearing the markings of the Goddess. As fast as the pain hit her it was gone leaving the tattoo behind. Vitalia holding her shoulder glanced around. "Is this a dream?" eyes wide she sat upon the bed wondering if she should do as asked. This had truly been the first time the Goddess had appeared and now she was informed she was infact a Demi God. With light on this information she rose from her bed and began packing for her trip. She'd visit Therron when she was finished.

Retracting the hand he had extended Ithir listened to the womans words for a moment while his anger at her assumption of his allegiance grew, suddenly her eyes shifted color causing him to rear back in surprise, when he regained his footing he stared for a moment and tried unsuccessfully to calm himself.
Growling Ithir started forward,
"WITCH you DARE accuse me of EVIL? I'm a paladin of Zorsk! I seek the TRUE king for the purpose of following his will and obtaining a glorious death! The next time you ever mistake me for a servant of that dog of a mage you'll feel my blade."
Panting from the exertion of holding his natural "gifts" in check he turned his back on the woman and pulled his claymore from the ground. He finished unharnessing his sword and re applied his tabard not out of modesty but because the order strictly forbid the absence of humility and respect toward females of any race, a tenet which he had just desecrated nonetheless but the small action brought comfort to the man clearing his head slightly.
He approached the log the woman still inhabited before intoning quietly.
"If you'd like we could share a camp, help yourself to my stores of food I will return shortly with timber for fire and shelter."
With that silently left to forage.

Giving a rare grin the Ae'Magi allowed the tittering chuckles of the students as they left before inscribing a rune in the air before him creating a bubble of silence extending about two meters out signifying he did not wish to be disturbed. He reclined in his desk chair for a moment before once again opening the large black tome he kept always. As the last student left he broke the rune with a wave of his hand. He enjoyed a few moments of solitude and the occasional groan of pain from William before the door to his chambers opened and his true apprentice Theon entered. With a warm smile the Ae'Magi rose to his feet and crossed around his desk to stand before the man.
"Get up boy let me have a look at you, my must you always wear that dreadful mask? You punish the womanfolk unjustly my son." Choosing not to comment on the slave girls escape he enjoyed the frustration clearly seething from Theon, he knew of the distrust the boy had for Aralorn and was quite certain he'd love nothing more then to end her life.
"But of course I'd like her captured if you truly wish the task then by all means its yours."
Not bothering to study his students reaction the Ae'Magi returned to his desk, pausing for a moment he turned and intoned to William,
"Why do you insist on tormenting yourself like this child? I would've thought whats left of your intelligence had whithered long ago if it wasnt for those creative thoughts about my demise you so love to fabricate, what say you to a simple task hmm? First alert the castle about the approach of Lady Stoneheart, have the finest quarters prepared, my last mistress's should do she had fine enough taste."
Looking back he smiled at the absence of his apprentice, Theon had left without a sound, no small feat when one was in the presence of an archmage. Almost as an afterthought he added,
"Afterwards seek out Theon and assist him in any way you can, though I warn you boy do NOT make your presence known in any way that would benefit the so called "good", for I can have Theon harvest your heart and serve it to me for my next supper faster then you could ever know." With a wave of his hand the Ae'Magi lessened his hold on William slightly before rising and heading for his personal chambers.

This had been easier than she would have anticipated. She had only lost one servant, but he had only been temporary in the first place, and already she was on her way to sea this Ae'Magic. How delightful.
She still wished she could see the state of the boy. His eyes, like the eyes of the other servants who had 'retired', were stored in a small box kept with her at all times.
The coach stopped a moment as the driver spoke to the guards.
"Lady Stoneheart has arrived to see his lordship the Archmage."
After a few moments, they were allowed passage inside the gates.
"Would you like me to describe it to you, my lady?"
"That will not be necessary Leena."
Sabe turned to face the window, already knowing how far away it was from when she had dealt with the boy. She could feel crackles of energy moving throughout her mind as she focused all of her power upon the glass eyes. Slowly, through the blackness of her vision, images began to form. It was like each strand of psychic power was constructing the building before her, running over each individual brick and stone. As she stared up at the castle, she could see. For a few moments the world stayed in focus, and visible. It was like she had never been blind before.
YOU PREENING LITTLE MINX!
Sabe groaned, the blackness snapping back along with a sharp ache.
"My lady? Are you alright?" Leena asked, looking anxiously at her mistress.
"I'm fine, just an energy surge. Do not concern yourself." She responded, regaining her composure. "Damn you mother." She muttered inaudibly to herself.
Almost at that moment she noticed the carriage stop completely. One of her manservants opened the door, helping Leena out first before holding out his hand for Sabe. Taking a deep breath, her persona replenished after that little incident, she took the hand and stepped out.
Sabe didn't need to see to notice a few of the guards straightening up slightly when they saw her, even if she was not allowed to think it she knew she was an incredible sight to behold. The light made the glass eyes sparkle slightly as she turned her head towards Leena.
"Come along Leena, we cannot keep his lordship waiting." She said smoothly, taking Leena's hand as they started to make their way up to the castle itself.
OOC Notes
After the aching was gone, William quickly got back on his feet, not noticing any remainders of the pain, except the memory. The slave straightened his back, standing like he always stood. Perhaps a bit too proud for a slave, but that was William for you. Stubborn, proud and persistent; with all those words one could describe the former pirate.
However, before William responded to the Archmage, he thought a bit. Aralorn is gone? Barely he stopped himself from smiling. Theon was sent out to capture her? Why didn't the Ae'Magi ask me for this task? Was Aralorn really that important? William breathed slowly as new thoughts crossed his mind in a split second. Later, first I should do what I was asked. "Of course, master," he said, his voice firm and confident. "Your wish is my command." William made a deep bow before he turned to the door. But as fast as he could he froze, hearing the Archmage again.
Splendid.
When the slave had left the room, like the Ae'Magi had done as well, the smallest of smirks showed on his face. Prepare yourself, oh fair lady Aralorn.
William quickly moved through the maze-like halls of the castle, one would easily get lost if they didn't have a guide. But William hadn't had this problem, as long as he went where he was sent to. Another spell. First William visited the kitchen, telling them they had to prepare a great meal, for the Archmage would have a guest. Then the servants' supervisor got warned, the room of which the Ae'Magi had told William had to get cleaned. Afterwards it should get prepared. The slave continued his walk, finding everyone that had to know about the arrival of Lady Stoneheart. A bath would be prepared, the library for if the lady wished to read, the gardens had to be in a perfect state, too. What if the Archmage took his guest for a walk?
Now that his first task was completed, William had to attend to the second one. The slave didn't take a break, perhaps fearing for a second mental torturing, perhaps not needed to rest thanks to another break. William had no idea, he thought that if someone would write down all the spells that were cast on him, the person would have a whole spellbook full. And even though he didn't knew it, William was rather close to the truth.
Lead by intuition, William searched for Theon. Even with the magical enhancement it was a difficult task. Theon had probably made some kind of shield around him to protect him from such things. From everything that William had heard, he knew finding Theon without the Ae'Magi's help was near impossible. And when you found him, it ment you were in a dangerous situation, because that'd mean Theon wanted to be found. At least, that were William's thoughts about the subject.
"Theon?" William asked when he got an eerie feeling, glancing around a bit. After three years of service, William thought he and Theon were at least acquianteces.
OOC Notes
Feeling slightly woozy she shook her head and rummaged through the small pack she brought until she found her stash of viles filled with the liquid blue concoction a Mage had given her from Sianim. He'd stated it would keep the Ae'Magi's magic from working on her again but she had to take it anytime she felt woozy or the Ae'Magi could connect with her mind. She feared this most of all, if he found her and she happened to be with the prince it would all be over. Taking up one of the viles she drank it down quickly and sighed with relief when the dizziness faded. Content that she was safe for yet another day Aralorn awaited the return of Ithir so that once a fire was made she could hunt for food. She would wait until later if the problem presented itself while she was with Ithir to inform him of her bouts with the Ae'Magi. She wondered if he'd send someone out for her, if he did she knew it would be Theon his best servant or even the other slave William. Thoughts returned to the castle of the Ae'Magi, the tortures she'd endured to ensure he believed she was a slave. It had taken her nearly a month for her body to regrow her nails and for her eyesight to return. In the end the Ae'Magi seemed convinced she was good stock, he'd even taken, or rather forced her to his bed a few times. Shaking her head she withdrew from the memory and focused on finding the Prince. Her destination was the Land of Myr, she'd seek the assistance of the werebeasts leader in order to gain information of any new arrivals to their parts. With luck she'd find the Prince then she could have a real goal of returning to Ren and then to Wolf.
OOC Notes
So shes a shape shifter? Wonderful, this gets more and more interesting.
While in the forest he gathered a fair amount of wood and dry leaves before returning to camp, he quickly built a fire and threw on the leaves in order to create a large amount of smoke, withdrawing a small silk bag from his belt he reverently threw a pinch of a sand like substance into the flames that turned the smoke from its normal grey to a deep red hue.
"Dont worry it will burn out in a few moments, it signifies my presence letting other travelers in the wood know where to run if they happen upon some of Myr's less hospitable folk, its a Paladin thing, if anyone happens to be chasing you at the very least I can promise you enough time to get a good head start, that is if they make an attempt at all, the smoke is enough to deter all but the very determined or the very insane."
Ithir stood and went into the forest once again, he found a large fallen tree and quickly trimmed it of its branches before hoisting it on his back, when he arrived at the camp he dumped it near the fire and the trees creating a makeshift barrier.
"I like to have something against my back when I sleep."
Ithir reached into his pack and removed a large slab of raw meat wrapped in oil cloth, brushing a few stray strands of cloth from it he sprinkled a small amount of crushed herb from his pack on it before spearing it onto his sword for cooking.
"Theres another of these if your interested, this one will be done shortly."
OOC Notes
He spent a few moments after Williams exit simply sitting before turning once again to his tome with a grunt, hours later the Ae'Magi stood and caressed the large ball of crystal that hung from his belt, a miasma of pure white energy stemmed from the ball and floated about the man for a moment until subsiding suddenly.
The grime, blood and dust had been instantly removed from his body and clothing, his hair nails and other bodily aspects were pristine as well.
"Ah, much more efficient then bathing."
Seconds later a young serf about 13-or14 years entered the room and fell prostrate to his knees before a wave from the Ae'Magi prompted him to speak.
"The lady Stoneheart has arrived my leige." The boy waited for a response and finally slowly began to rise to his feet.
"You seem to forget yourself boy, did I give you leave to rise?" The boy stammered an apology and threw himself to his knees again with such force a sharp crack sounded across the room as his kneecap shattered like a snowball impacting a brick wall, the boy began to cry out in pain but hurriedly hushed himself and began fighting the tears from falling.
"On second thought were are my manners? You've done a good job child, dismissed."Wincing in pain the boy rose to his feet as his teeth ground together audibly from the strain of keeping silent. Suddenly the knowledge that every day of the wretches pathetic life would be spent in agony, he would never run, never play, never make love, sent waves of delight down the Ae'Magi's spine.
I wonder how long the strain of disability and the pain will affect the boy before he takes his own life? An interesting prospect.
"O-of c-c-c-course m-muh-muhmuh-master." The boy limped hurriedly away as the Ae'Magi released a small burst of power, the door began quickly closing behind him forcing the child to move even faster or be slammed into.
"Ah, to be young."
Clapping his hands the Ae'Magi was engulfed in a thick dark cloud and suddenly vanished to appear seconds later in the center of the courtyard.
The castle gates opened and after a somewhat lengthly procession, the lady Stoneheart stood before him along with her handmaiden. Reaching forward the Ae'Magi took her hand and pressed it to his lips for a moment, a small tendril of the womans power flashed over his aura causing him to shiver slightly in ecstasy, this would clearly be an interesting woman.
"Greetings my lady and welcome to castle Dirthwill, I am the Ae'Magi, I will be at your service and I encourage you to take full liberties of my household and servants, Ill have my men escort your things to your quarters."
Turning to the woman who assisted lady Stoneheart he took her hand to his lips as well then gently intoned,
"Ill take the lady's hand from here madame that is if its to her preference, if you would prefer your own quarters I can have that arranged however I've taken the liberty of having another bed moved to your lady's own quarters when I learned of your presence."
OOC Notes
When he opened his eyes once again, it was not in his room that he found himself, but at the bottom of what seemed to be an incredibly large canyon, wearing only a pair of dark trousers.
"What is this..." He said to himself incredulously, as he looked up at the black sky overhead. He was certain that he was dreaming, but this felt like no dream he had ever experienced before.
"This is my realm." He heard an incredibly deep voice say from behind him. "Welcome."
He turned around quickly, reaching over his shoulder for the hilt of his sword, finding, of course, that it wasn't there. What he did find, however, was a large set of stone steps, illuminated by what appeared to be purple flames, leading up to a massive stone throne. And seated on the throne was a large, dark skinned man, with long black hair that nearly touched the floor, and malevolent looking violet eyes with black slits for pupils that glowed like the flames beside the steps.
"Who the hell are you?" Therron asked, involuntarily taking a step back. "What the hell is this?"
"You're so far away, child." The man said with amusement in his voice. "Come closer, and we'll talk."
Summoning all his courage, Therron made his way up the steps, telling himself that this was only a dream the entire way.
"Much better." The man said, smiling wickedly once Therron stood before him. " Now... where to begin?"
He paused a moment before continuing, as if pondering something. "I... am Chasm. God of all things Dark. And as I said before.... this is my realm. Oh... and in case you're still wondering, this is definitely not a dream."
"You..." Therron said, his own violet eyes widening. "You! What do you want with me? Haven't you already ruined my life enough?!"
As if in response to his question, a cloud of darkness appeared in the air next to him. And just as quickly, a creature composed of what looked like roiling shadows stood, kneeling there next to the throne.
"You summoned me, my Master?" It said in a voice that reminded Therron of sharp nails across glass. The mark on his chest pulsed, realizing who the creature was, even if Therron himself didn't.
At least, he didn't until the creature fixed its violet eyes on him.
"Ah..." It said with an unearthly chuckle. "Hello, contractor."
As soon as the realization dawned on him, Therron leaped at the devil, with murder in his eyes. But he simply froze in midair, inches away from his target.
"Now, now... let's not allow our emotions to get the better of us, child." Chasm said, as Therron slowly drifted back to the floor. "Azrael here is going to be your handler. It's not good to start a business relationship with violence."
"Business relationship?! Are you insane? This... this thing ruined my life! He killed my father! Who knows how many other people he's killed because he fooled me into making that contract with him?! But I'm wasting my breath, aren't I? This bastard is one of your creations! What the hell do you care?!" Therron ranted, still trying to attack, but unable to move.
"Are you quite done?" Chasm asked calmly. "I swear... you mortals and your feelings. Now listen, human. I'm offering you something you want. You do a favor for me, and I'll nullify your contract with him."
"Why should I believe you?" Therron asked, after a moment's pause. "You're just as evil as he is, if not moreso. Why would you do that for me?"
"For one.." Chasm said, standing up from his throne, towering over Therron. " Evil or not, Gods are bound by their word. For two... I require the assistance of a mortal, and since I have no bastard offspring, like some of the others, you're the only option I have. I promised the other Gods my assistance, and as I said, I'm bound by my word. So are you interested, or aren't you?"
"Fine..." Therron replied, stumbling as he finally found himself able to move again. "What do you want from me?"
Chasm laughed, "I thought so. I knew I could count on you, my child."
Seeing the look of confusion on Therron's face, he continued. "You didn't really think all of this happened by accident did you? I've been planning this for years now. Everything that has happened to you since you left with your father that day as a child.. it's all been a part of the plan. You didn't think that that was a normal contract did you? Your increased physical ability, your resistance to magic, your rage and your bloodlust, even though you try to suppress it. Those are gifts, given to you from me, through Azrael's blood, with this purpose in mind."
"What...?" Was all Therron could say as his brain tried to process this information.
"The Ae'magi must die. You will help kill him. Azrael will provide you the necessary information soon. Once you complete the job, I'll nullify your contract. That is... if you still want to. That is all, human. You may go."
OOC Notes
Even from a distance she could sense a strange and powerful aura emitting from him, she could tell this would be fun. It had been years since she had come across an aura such as this, even then it had not been this great. If she could make an ally of this man, the Stoneheart's position would not only be reinstated but also secured.
A small smile came across her face as she felt his lips press against her hand.
"I am greatly honoured by your gracious welcome and generous hospitality, my lord." She said softly, giving a gentle curtsey.
Leena made no outward reaction when the Ae'Magi took her hand but her eyes jittered slightly more, as if she wanted to pull away. Her body and voice however, remained calm as she spoke to the Ae'Magi, no trace of emotion within them at all.
"With respect my lord, I am required to stay by my mistress's side at all times."
"Now now Leena, there is no need for such concern." She said, and it appeared like her sight never left the Ae'Magi when really there was just no point in turning her head, she couldn't see her anyway. "I'm certain his lordship will be able to guide me safely, he knows his castle better than we do. Go and keep an eye on the boys, make sure they don't cause any trouble, then take some time to rest."
Leena's eyes seemed angry, angry at following Sabe's orders so eagerly, but her body did not make a move out of place as she curtseyed gracefully, her voice monotonal as always.
"Yes my lady."
With that she returned to where Sabe's other servants remained.
Sabe had really meant for her to keep an eye on the boys, some of them had taken alot of breaking due to their tempers and she did not desire to lose any more servants during her stay.
"My lord, I would like to take this time to apologise." She said to him. "I understand that the boy I sent earlier was... how shall I put it? An imbecile when he presented himself to you. I hope his stupidity did not give offense."

Zion's eyes and body suddenly snapped to, inhaling heavily as he looked about at where he was. He was in solitary confinement. It was then that the pain of his fall and subsequent, albeit, forced odyssey through the river was brought to bear in its fullest. He held his sides, gripping them like the pain was gripping him from his abrupt wake up into a strange, new world. After wincing for a while, he decided to become accustomed to the realm he was in. He neared the door that was more like bars of thick wooden lattice formed like an iron gate that had to be pried from its emplacement. By the looks of it, he wasn't going to get out by simply breaking the wood. Also, he couldn't lift it as the 'bars' were more like logs sharpened to points as in a palisade.
Zion pressed his face into the small, square-shaped openings between the tight-knit weave of wood and vine. He saw a plethora of life ambling about outside his prison. were-creatures, though he didn't have the vaguest idea of what the word meant- he just felt instinctively that he had had contact with creatures like these before. Two impossibly big were's were standing guard nearest to him. They were huge in height and girth. They also had savagely wolf-like head. Talons to rend flesh, and fangs sharp enough to chew through bone.
OOC Notes
Ithir sat staring after Aralorn for a moment.
"Uppity little witch, if she wants to get herself killed so be it." As the big man sat for a moment thoughtfully chewing he suddenly became disgusted with himself.
Kicking dirt over the small fire he removed his clothing and armor, stowing it and his gear inside his cloak we wrapped the whole mess and buried it near the tree trunk, stooping he left a subtle marker for another Paladin to find who would dig up his gear and drop it with the nearest temple as was the custom.
As the form of the icelynx grew smaller and smaller in the distance Ithir stood naked for a moment and the breathed slowly as the transformation began.
Unlike shapeshifters, were creatures clothing and possessions do not carry over in the transformation, if Ithir had left his armor on it would have been broken by his new body.
He grunted in pain as his limbs began to elongate, his shoulders broadened and his fingers shrank slowly into massive paws tipped with thick black nails, his normally ruddy skin began growing hair at an alarming rate, a thick black pelt covered his body almost instantaneously as he gained almost 300 lbs of bone and muscle. His jaw and nose elongated and his ears were relocated to the top of his head, his vision suddenly dimmed and grew slightly blurry compared to his old vision but his sense of smell was now more accute then any normal humans could ever hope to be. As the cracking and snapping of his bones breaking and renitting to suite his new form subsided Ithir let out a small growl.
The pain had gotten more tollerable over the hears but he still wasnt used to the transformation, unlike other weres he hated his "gifts" and never assumed this form unless absolutely necessary.
Seconds later a large black figure lumbered after the lynx letting out a roar of joy as his animal instincts began to love the chase Ithir fell to all fours and finished his transformation, now completely a bear he hoped he would be able to catch up.
OOC Notes
As she neared the borders to the were creatures territory Aralorn slowed her movement and came to a stop behind a large boulder. Shifting back she scanned the area for any of the beasts and when she saw no one she shifted into a fox and slowly entered the territory. She kept her footsteps calculated as she neared the river that surrounded the were creatures home. The homes were a cluster built into the base of a very large soapi tree and small canoes lined the edge of the river on the small docks that circled the tree. The activity of the were creatures was light since more at this time of the day were preparing supper. Laying low she was about to the river when someone from behind suddenly snatched her up by the scruff of her neck and knocked her out before she could get away.
Limp in the were beasts arms she was taken to the Soapi tree and thrown into a cage where the leader of the were beast Zorba awaited her to awaken to gather the information of what a shape shifter was doing in his territory. Meanwhile Aralorn lingered in her unconsciousness wondering how the were beast had gotten the best of her. She remained in limbo since her body refused to allow her to wake up, too much running she thought.

Edit: I can't see what "William" had done to make you react, either for the matter. :/ VV is doing all he/she can, but they don't really have an answer.
As for the reboot-I wouldn't mind, I guess. Its just I am also writing my book so I'll be more or less 'drained' of ideas.

Let me know what you want me to do and I'll be all over it.

This is my post
The words he spewed out made Aralorn shake her head in disagreement. She remained behind the Prince only a moment longer when William continued to taunt him into striking. She gave a small growl out of aggravation and moved out from behind Zion and spoke. "Don't you dare try to make it sound as if that's what I wanted," she spat at him. "I was under cover as his slave, and even you should know that it is a part to play that even you don't like." her hand gripped Zion's shoulder as she glared at William. "I hated laying in the Ae'Magi's bed, but if I'd refused he'd have killed me or found me out. A spy never reveals their true nature. So I played along to the best of my ability. But he had his own way of dealing with me when he began to figure it out of who I was. Many times I've found myself under the influence of his magic, unable to resist it. Well you should know all about it since your still being influenced yourself, like a puppet on a string."
Aralorn remained standing next to Zion in case William struck out. "There is no point in talking to you about it, the Ae'Magi's slave will never see that with the distance he is free of that control. Or perhaps your not even under his magic and are acting on your own free will. That would explain your desire to seek me out, you want to kill me." her eyes remained on him slightly sad he'd allowed the Ae'Magi to hold him hostage in his own mind, it made her wonder what he was like before this all happened. She slipped a dagger free and held it at the ready with a raised eyebrow. "You can fight me instead. I wont let you fight the Prince" she moved in front of him and using her free hand shoved him back lightly so that he was away from her.

Ezarael had been looking around for players, and was eventually in contact with me. While having not read the IC to the fullest, I do still want to join into the roleplay father badly. I do so love a good roleplay like this.
In the mean time, I understand you are down one evil wizard? I'd be delighted to play such a role, if you would have me. I'll start reading up on the whole of the IC just after I submit this for your approval.
