Introduction
Meet Othello Corp. and Vector MED. These two organization are neck and neck in uncovering one of the greatest discoveries of their time— the discovery of the Star Children and just what makes them tick. The Star Children, according to Vector MED., are humans with inhuman abilities, derived from the increased amount of astral energy from which their bodies feed. Star Children display an adept understanding of the world around them, acute senses, and, in some cases, physic abilities. But, that’s not all research has found. Along with astral energy, Star Children also show signs of producing a radiant energy. The increased amount of radiation and energy that flows through and across the surface of their bodies has been pinpointed as to contributing inhuman strength, precise reflexes and speed, and even the ability to defy reality and other planetary forces. The cause of this is not yet fully known. Scientists ponder whether or not it is caused by nuclear fusion or processes much like what occurs in a star (from which the name Star Children was coined), or if it is a different energy of its own. To further study them, Othello Corp. and Vector MED. will need to observe and experiment on living and non-living subjects. Through hard work, they were already able to obtain a few specimens. This isn’t always easy to achieve, some Star Children are not even fully aware of the powers they possess and they certainly aren’t always willing to be studied. Star Children are also known to have a shorter life span and to encounter more medical problems than normal humans. The race, however, is on, and the two organizations are determined to get the answers they need… no matter what means by which they may find them.
The setting is New York. This is where the headquarters for both Othello Corp. and Vector MED. are located. Othello Corp. is a corporation that specializes in selling stocks of medical supplies. The research they are conducting on the Star Children is their own individual project and top secret. Vector MED. is a small research team headed by a independent scientist. They have dedicated their lives to finding the truth behind the Star Children and other abnormalities.
The Star Children live all over the world. This RP, however, only centers on the Star Children living in the New York vacinity. Although that is still a large area, Star Children seem to share a bond with each other, and are often times unknowingly drawn together.

- Please include a biography that is at least five sentences long.
- Please include personality along with characteristic quirks, habits, likes, and dislikes.
- If you're creating a profile for a Star Child, please include abilities and powers (the maximum amount of powers you can have is three, though this is considered rare).
- Star Children should be age 17 - 30. Older ages are allowed, but Othello and Vector MED. want young and healty subjects.
- Scientists and researchers need to be age 25+. EDIT: The researchers for Vector MED. can be 18+, considering many of them are young college students.
- Please include a picture of characters appearance and also describe it in at least three sentences. Picture must be RL.
There is a character limit of two, but you can only make one Star Child/Scientist... if ya' know what I mean.

Alright, we now need someone to play the bad guys :P. We have enough Star Children to start already if we wanted to... but there wouldn't be much plot to this RP without conflict... and you can't have conflict without a villian >:D ... Well at least one. I might make one later tonight, if anyone wants to double as a scientist or researcher that would be great too! I'm hoping I could start this RP tonight if possible =D

Hey! Thanks for the roleplayers wanted thread you made lilozzy! Actually I was just reading something in interest checks about a superhero RP and everyone was saying how interesting it seemed, but I couldn't help but think, "my superhero/superhuman rp seemed better..." So maybe now we'll finally get a chance to get it started :D!

Right now I guess this roleplay is on hiatus, because no one is signing up. There needs to be at least two more characters before I start, and I have a feeling that some of the people that had signed up won't be active in the roleplay for long. If two or three more people join it though, then I will consider starting it... but since this is an older roleplay I'm not sure about that... I want to start DX ... but sorry...
