For the past ten thousand years, humanity has spread across the galaxy. From the Periphery to the Galactic Heart, the Empire has stood steadfast in the face of rebellions and catastrophes, assassinations and disasters. The Human race has never met another intelligent species, even from the forgotten dawn of space travel.

That is, until now.

Now, the Stars of Osiris – a collection of 10 solar systems – have finally aligned into a perfect circle, known in ancient texts as The Dark Gate. While this phenomenon has been heralded as the End of All, the Galactic Empire has fed off of its own pride, its own accomplishments for too long, and it does not believe our warnings. This is why we have called for you. Spacers, traders, soldiers, criminals – it does not matter. You shall be our saviors, our Gatekeepers. It shall be you who finds God’s Hand, and it shall be you who will lock the Dark Gate away for another ten millennia.

Stars of Osiris is a planned RP set in the far flung future, where humanity has spread across the Galaxy. In a time of absolute peril, an organization known as the Brotherhood has brought together a collection of the Galaxy's toughest outlaws and warriors. Their mission? To stop the Dark Gate from opening. The stakes? The fate of the entire human race, and perhaps existence itself.

You, the players, will be these Heroes. Send me your descriptions of yourself - who your character is, what planet their from, what their history is. I'll help molding your character - nothing radical, but I'll give out equipment and assignments depending on your role and history.

And as for me? I'm the Galaxy itself - my role is to adjust and plan accordingly as you players traverse the depths of space. I will be the Brotherhood, I will be your personal A.I., I will be your source of information - and I will be your enemies.
