Physical Description
For a woman Julie stands at just above average with a voluptuous chest that she isn't afraid to show off. She has incredibly long ligaments that are extremely flexible and piano fingers that can play instruments like nobody's business. In her free time (which she doesn't have much of because students always seem to be hurting themselves) Julie enjoys teasing her coworkers and going for jogs around the campus. She keeps an active life style in order to maintain her rather slender body. Her style of clothing isn't exactly school appropriate, but no one seems to mind and she has yet to receive any complaints from the student nor teacher body.

Likes
Colorful band aids | Lollipops | Talking | Jogging | Meeting new people

Dislikes
Injuries she can't fix | Seeing people in pain | Big messes | Vomit | Flu season

Habits
Organizing her collection of band aids when bored | Fiddling with her stethoscope | Mumbling when thinking

Flaws
Clumsy | A bit prejudice | Likes candy too much

Abilities | Powers
Light/Illusion Magic || Julie is a light mage therefore she specializes in light/illusion magic. She can create illusions to put the mind at ease and similarly ones that can drive a person to the point of insanity. Julie can also bend the light to her will so being in a dark spot is never a problem.

Healing || Julie sub specializes in healing wounds. The larger the wound, the more energy it takes to heal and she can never fix a broken heart (but she can give you ice cream for that). If it is a particularly nasty wound that she can't heal, Julie will absorb it into her own body. She only does this in dire situations though because it takes quite the toll on her body.

ImageRomantic Interest
Student/teacher relationships are a no-no. But what about student/nurse ones?

History
Julie was born into a family that had lost their magical touch. They had believed that their magical lineage had died out; at least until Julie was born. Naturally they sent her to a place that could teach Julie to use her abilities and hopefully restore the Sytry name to its former glory. Like many mages that were first sent to the Survival Kit Academy, Julie hated demons. She believed they were the cause for everything bad in the world, but once she was stuck with two of them she quickly realized that they were just like humans; flawed and easily wounded if not a bit more so. When Julie graduated she decided to stick around the academy at first as a teacher, but realizing she had no aptitude for teaching Julie switched to a secretary. It was on a visit to the nurse's office for a stomach ache that Julie became entranced by healing magic and quit her position as secretary to study this type of mage work.
Now, after years of studying she has returned to the Survival Kit Academy after hearing about the open position for school nurse. Julie always loved the academy and is excited to give back to the school that has taught her so much.

Other
Don't be afraid to just pop by for a visit even if you don't need anything! Julie loves visitors.

Memphis

When hearing a familiar voice summoning his attention Memphis looked and quickly saw Midora approaching him whilst holding a clipboard. ”The Department has sent us a new mission. When you're finished with all the jobs here, we should talk in your Office. Since I'm going to be your new assistant, we should have the same workplace. There was an empty desk so I'm going to take my stuffs there. Hope that you don't mind. See you later." The demon did not reject the idea of the pair sharing a workplace, as the mage had said it did make some sense, and thus Memphis gave a confirming nod to the other man. "Alright Mr. Kurayami, I will meet you there once I am done here. We will talk then," Watching the mage leave another voice caught the demon’s attention, as he turned and saw the younger demon in front of him had actually spoke, and promptly said, "I never joke, Hive."

He had heard what the demon had said before, and perhaps even agreed with him a little. Most demons would likely find the tasks somewhat murderous, but surely that was the fun of it? Memphis shrugged, he wasn’t that interested especially as he had played no hand in yesterdays events. However, the Headmaster could not fail to notice the evident displeasure Hive held for his mage colleague. "He displeases you?" The redhead quietly commented, though found it amusing all the same. He too had once held a slight disliking for mages, but that was a very long time ago and he was quite young at the time. "Well, you are entitled to feel as you wish. I cannot rip that away from you however, if you care to take note, mages are not all that bad. They are like us, demons, only without the hell. Some are good, some are bad, and the rest just don’t care." Standing up the demon stretched his hands into the air before glancing around the area. Another group had finished which only left one, which wasn’t so bad.

"Things should be coming to an end soon so why don’t you go and pester your friends, if you have any. Otherwise sit and wait." The Headmaster said half-amusingly to the two young demons before him, before turning and heading over to Mikari, as he stood near the mage teacher. "Your group likes to keep you in suspense, I see. Well, once they do finish things you can let them go for a break afterwards. I, however, have to go meet Mr. Kurayami in my office – or our office, I guess, now that he’s moving in." With that said the demon turned round and began to head off, giving a very brief wave of his hand as he left the area and entered the classroom - quickly recognizing the two figures there.

"Etelka, Laurence. I think you two should make yourselves busy and go take a break. The redhead left shortly before, and I think you two should get something to eat as well before our next class. Especially you young mage, you look like you need it." He said to the two youths, barley even taking a moment to look at them as the demon kept walking through the room and made his way through the Academy and to his office.

However, as he reached the door the redhead could hear an unfamiliar voice coming from within the room, and when sneaking a quick glance he saw a student with Midora. Memphis recognized the boy from their class, though his name escaped him. The Headmaster concluded it was an issue that was best sorted between a teacher and their student, and the redhead did not wish intrude just yet. Instead, he waited outside and leaned against the wall, though was very intrigued as he slightly overheard their conversation – a part of him interested to see how the mage dealt with such a young demon. Hopefully they hadn’t spotted him earlier, as they Headmaster tried to keep himself as quiet as he could.

Cleo listened to what Midora said, and though the man seemed quite pleased with her the feline wasn’t entirely sure how to take his words. The mage was right in that the girl perhaps didn’t look exactly like a fighter – then again she was a house-cat before so fighting wasn’t exactly a normality for the girl, but in her heart now was the beginnings of a true fighter – maybe! Smiling, the girl listened to the rest of his words before the teacher left. Quickly the feline looked to her teammates and gave them an even bigger smile.

”It’s kinda funny, that after all that, we’re actually better friends I think.” She laughed, noting especially how Bugby made an effort with their mage just earlier, which really made the girl truly happy. Just then Ichiro asked about the nurses office and how they out to guide him there, which presumably both demons would be happy to do. But Bugby had said something about meeting them there later, which Cleo just gave a nod too. ”Sure, I can get us there in no time! But you better meet us there Bugby, you need to see a nurse too – got it? Don’t make us have to drag you there.” She teased playfully before turning to Ichiro after the demon-boy had left.

”You look like you took a pretty bad hit, Ichi. But not to worry I’ll make sure to you get to the infirmary as quickly as I can,” The feline assured her mage, before taking one of his hands and holding it securely in one of her own in order to guide him better. After a moment she pulled him along, giggling afterwards, ”We best go now.”

Seemingly set with her priorities the girl lead the boy towards the classroom as expected, but then her attention was momentarily snatched away as she spied Hive again, and just as quickly let go of Ichiro’s hand and quickly dashed over to the familiar demon. ”Hive! Did you see, did you? We won, me and Ichiro! It was really cool.” She purred, resting her hands against his leg as she leaned on it a little and moved her face close to his with her ears flickering back and forth contently. Like some curious kitten that was exploring the world, the girl eyed the other demon carefully, inspecting him almost. ”Are you ok? You were really confused the other day, I didn’t get a chance to see you afterward. I hope you’re feeling better now, and you better be keeping out of trouble.”

Playfully warning her companion the demon then just remembered her mage. ”Oh, I’m just taking Ichiro to the infirmary since he got injured – why don’t you come with us? I haven’t spent any time with you really. Well, the offers there though I better hurry and make sure Ichiro gets to the nurse in time!” Hopping off Hive, the feline gave both her friend and the horned-girl a wave before skipping back over to her mage and resumed taking hold of his hand. Without even saying anything the girl just sprang forward, pulling the injured boy with her carelessly, as the cat tried to get him to the infirmary as quickly as she could.

Due to Cleo’s rushing around the pair reached the infirmary quite quickly, unsurprisingly. As they headed into the infirmary the girl walked straight over to one of the beds and pushed Ichiro onto one, before sitting herself up and onto the edge of the bed. ”The nurse should be here soon so just relax Ichi, and, well, you know – don’t die.” Though speaking so casually the cat was in-fact very concerned with the boys health - since she had gone through this before with her old mage. The old woman who raised her had died of old age, and though slightly different, the girl had experienced losing a mage before and didn’t want to lose Ichiro either.

With a sigh the girl lowered her ears and looked to the boy. ”I’m sorry I wasn’t much help during the exercise, I’m not exactly a fighter – I just run around and bite. Heh, house-cats aren’t really made to be fighters, but I promise I’ll get better and then I can protect you better, Ichi.” Though initially sounding a little down the girl quickly cheered up towards the end of her words, as she then rested her hands on either side of the boy before leaning over and nuzzling under his chin – just like a big cat would do, really. ”And I’m sorry for hissing at you earlier, I just get too protective of you. I don’t want some mage taking you away from us – but I guess I don’t have to worry about that now.”

Leaning away from the boy, the feline returned to her sitting position as the nurse then entered the room. It was Nurse Julie, a rather fun woman who all the students seemed to love. ”Wow, that looks nasty.” She commented, putting her hands to her hips and raising a brow towards the cat. ”You don’t look any better either. Well, looks like I better get to work then!” She softly giggled, before walking over and lightly pushing the blonde boy against the bed. ”You best take it easy, got it?”

Examining his leg more closely, the nurse let out another quiet giggle. ”If I’m going to heal that leg then I need a better look at it to see how bad it is – so you’re going to have to remove your trousers so that I can examine it. Oh, and don't worry about any blood! I can clean that up. But, if you’re real good about it, I may give you a lollipop.” Giving the students some privacy the woman went into the other room, probably to see about some lollipops in the meantime.

Cleo just looked to Ichiro rather casually, and teased, ”Well, on you go. Want me to leave you for a bit, you know, cause some guys are real shy about stuff like that around girls.”

Blood glistened on the pavement, a pool of crimson staining the rabbit's blue hair purple. Her body lay at an odd angle on the ground, Kou's trident discarded to the side. She was out, a bad hit to the head having put the demon out of comission for the remainder of the battle. She had not been braced for Ruzik's hit to her stomach, she hadn't expected such a dirty trick and underestimating the incubus had been the rabbit's downfall. Clearly she would have to work harder if she was to best him, but for now she would just... sleep...

"Look at the fluffy animal mommy! What is it?" A boy chased the animal across the field, his silver hair glistening in the low light of earth.

"That is a rabbit my son, they are nothing more then game for the larger species and food for the humans." The child was upset by this answer and he stopped. Curious as to why he had stopped chasing it, the rabbit poked its head out of the hole it had jumped into and looked over at the boy. "See son? They are much too curious for their own good."

"I want it." He grabbed the little animal by its cotton ball tail and dragged it onto his lap. The woman sighed, clearly upset by this news.

"Tsukuyomi you musn't take such a thing back to the moon with you, if you do it will be sad because you've separated it from it's family."

"She."

"Pardon?"

"The rabbit is a she."

"Fine, say you did bring this creature home. What would you name her?"

"Kou."

Kou's eyes opened a bit as she peeked out from the slits to see Lili beating up Ruzik. "Good, he deserves it." The female uttered and closed her eyes once more, drifting back into blackness. One of the demons watching in the stands noticed and ran to get to the nurse, having nothing else to do and knowing she couldn't finish the animal off going to find the woman who treated their wounds was the only option.

"There's something wrong with my pet!" Tsukuyomi brought the little animal to his mother, Izanagi. She was laying sideways in his hands, her eyes closed and normally perky ears flopped over. "I told you this would happen Tsu, the poor thing misses her family."

"But I am her family now!" Izanagi pursed her lips and took the rabbit from Tsukuyomi. She stroked its head and murmured something, but the rabbit did not move. Sighing, Izanagi handed the rabbit back to Tsukuyomi. "There is nothing I can do my son." The boy stormed out of the room, clutching the animal to his chest.

"I'll fix you, don't worry."

Kou awoke in the infirmary, her entire body aching. With a shaky hand she reached up to feel her head which had been wrapped with a bandage. Her clothes were folded neatly on the table beside the mattress and Kou was wearing nothing but her underclothes and bandages. "Don't try to move, that incubus did a number on you." Kou winced, clutching her skull as the bubbly voice of nurse Julie invaded her head. "Stop talking," she mumbled and turned onto her side. "Too loud."

The nurse walked over and moved Kou so that she was laying on her back, causing the girl to scream in pain. "I told you not to move," Julie shook her head. "I have to go treat someone else. Stay still." The way Julie said it meant that the woman was serious and Kou could do nothing but stare as the woman left the curtained area.

Muse was watching the battles, bored out of her mind when a man approached her. He seemed to recognize her, but Muse had never seen this demon before in her life. She blinked in confusion and watched the headmaster approach and speak to the boy in a rather brisk tone. Muse tilted her head to the side, attempting to eavesedrop but something else caught her attention. One of the battles was nearly finished and there was a blue haired girl laying on the ground, her head bleeding. Bloodlust instantly came over her and Muse was ready to pounce when she remembered herself and leaned back, taking a deep breath and instead running to get someone who could take care of the wounds as she doubted anyone would be happy if she finished the rabbit off and took her tail as a prize.

[color=#6EC232]"Someone-is injured and-needs help,"
Muse gasped in the doorway of the infirmary; the nurse looked up from her work with a startled expression and grabbed a bag, telling Muse to lead the way. The demon did just that and watched as the nurse knelt beside the demon and took out a white talisman, writing a word on it and placing it on the ground beside the rabbit. Muse stared in awe as the ground around the demon glowed and the nurse nodded her head. "I'll be right back, make sure she doesn't bleed anymore." Muse nodded her head, unsure of how she would do this and watched as the woman hustled away and returned shortly with some sort of portable bed. "Can you support her head while I lift her?" Muse nodded her head once more and held the rabbit's head up as the nurse lifted the girl's body easily onto the bed on wheels. "Thanks... Wait don't do that!" Muse was licking the blood off of her fingers. She hissed when Julie slapped them away from her face and lunged, but the nurse jumped out of the way and Muse rolled. "Don't tell me what to do!" The woman rolled her eyes and began pushing the bed away. Intruiged, Muse followed and watched the woman work to bandage the girl up inside the infirmary. She heard voices and poked her head out of the curtained area to see three from the classroom this morning. One of them had a particularly bad leg wound and was laying on an open bed. Muse stepped out in full and walked over to them, looking at the injury. "The nurse is busy, but she'll be out n a second." The horned demon said and shifted her weight from one leg to the other as she waited for Julie. Soon a scream came from behind the curtain and Julie popped out, asking Ichiro to remove his trousers so she could heal him.

"It was a good match." He said reassuringly to Bugby. "Oddly it does seem to have brought us closer, maybe the headmaster wasn't so crazy with this idea." Saying as Cleo took hold of his hand. His face turning a little red as she lead him away. Pausing as they passed the classroom waiting as Cleo disappeared into it to talk to Hive for a second before returning and continue to drag him along. Before long they had arrived at the infirmary, taking a look around the infirmary it seemed oddly normal. Though a lot of the school seemed creepily normal for a school that had Mages and Demons and students having their leg pierced by a sword.

They moved over to one of the beds and Ichiro felt a shove as he fell onto the bed. Watching as Cleo took up position on the edge of the bed. "Ya i'll try to not...die." Saying as he listened to her, it was obvious she was concerned. "Don't worry about that fight we all work best in different situations. Hey, it's my job to protect you and Bugby I can take the hits, but if ever either of you were seriously injured their would be hell to pay." Normally he would jump when a girl would lean in as close as Cleo did, but as she nuzzled under his chin reminded him of his child hood, as he closed his eyes. When Ichiro was younger his parents brought a Lion back from one of their trips as a pet, a strange pet indeed, but it was hurt and they helped it so it just followed them back. Ichiro grew really close to it and the two were inseparable. Though the Lion was old before they even brought it back so it wasn't long before he passed on, but in the nine years they were together Ichiro and the Lion had made countless memories. As Cleo nuzzled him it felt the same as back then, so nostalgic. Quietly listening to Cleo as she apologized for earlier, Ichiro could only slightly laugh under his breath as he knew it was his fault. "Of course you don't have to worry about that even if a mage tried I would never let anyone take either of you away from me. Both Bugby and you are family to me." As he finished up, Cleo leaned away just as the Nurse came in.

He had never met her before and as he looked at the Nurse he noticed right off the bat her attire definitely wasn't school appropriate as his face took on a red tint. Eyes widening as she asked for him to remove his trousers. "Uh.. ya, uh of course." Saying as he clasped his hands together in a nervous fashion. When Cleo asked if she should leave every bit of of him screamed, "yes" But that prideful part of him just couldn't say it. "Psssh, of course I'm not shy about that stuff, come on who do you think I am. Didn't I say were practically family." he said with a hesitant laugh.

For a second he had also thought he heard Muse off on the other side of the curtain. He only hoped it was a figment of his imagination because if it wasn't he couldn't imagine having Muse catch him without pants, as Cleo was bad enough having Muse who he just met, see him without pants was way to embarrassing. With just a thought command his pants burst into a cloud of golden particles, just as fast as they appeared they disappeared almost just as quick. The nice thing about creating your own clothes you could take them off instantly and put them on just as fast which he was just dying to. Still as they vanished, and sitting there in only his underwear his face became flush with a red coloring as he stuttered to talk. "Sss-see doesn't bother me a bit. Though it's a bit chilly in here so I wonder if the Nurse could hurry back" Saying as he looked around quickly hoping the Nurse would rush back. "Oh Nurse I'm ready...uh, you know whenever." Yelling over the curtain, as he just hoped no one else would see him. Seeing girls in their underwear before had given him such bloody noses he passed out, so for them to see him in his was unbelievably embarrassing for him, though he tried as hard as he could not to show it. "Don't worry about it, guys like me aren't embarrassed by this kind of stuff at all." Saying to Cleo trying to reassure her he didn't mind, but really he was just trying to reassure himself more.

As Midora read through the pages carefully, he thought about the mission that the Department has given them. So a Window is open and they wanted us to take care of it huh? This is not a very difficult task but it is not easy either. Midora figured that he could challenge the students by given them this task as an exercise, but he has to discuss with Memphis first, the red-head Demon was the one who is in charge of all this, although Midora can suggest ways to solve this problem. He began to thought which ones he should advise to send since most of them are probably drained after this morning task.

Suddenly, he heard that there were some knocks on the Office's door. "Please come in." Midora said as the door was opened and came in someone he hasn't expected - Bugby. The Demon walked in with his usual "don't-mess-with-me" style, he greeted Midora as he gave him a frown. ”About what you said earlier, to my group, well, to me more exactly,” The young demon said, but Midora can clearly read from Bugby that he was somewhat not very pleased in Midora's presence. ”You said if we needed you we would know where to find you, so I wanted to talk to you
 if that’s not a problem.”

"Of course." Midora put down the clip-board, clasped his hands and rest his chin on them them, "Is there anything you would like to say?"

”It’s just I’d appreciate it if you didn’t place such high expectations on me. I mean, I did try my best to beat Ichiro and Cleo, but I still lost. You judged my ability from what you saw but I don't believe you really know the extent of my power, and thus are not fit to judge my ability. You're just a mage who happens to be in-charge of me, and if you really took an interest in your students then you'd know that whenever I attempt to mimic multiple abilities from different people things always go wrong, my concentration lapses. I mean, don't our profiles tell you anything that's relevant? But yeah, what I'm trying to say is that I didn't like how you judged me and that I don't really plan to live up to whatever you expect from me, Mr. Kurayami.” The demon spoke up his mind and Midora was rather surprise to see a young, troublesome Demon being able to be so genuine with him. That's a good sign. But what the Demon was saying next aren't pleasant to hear in the slightest.

”I’m not as remarkable as Ichiro, or as daring as Cleo. I don’t even know why I’m at the Academy since I’m clearly not suitable here. My parents made a mistake sending me here,” Lowering his gaze the boy sighed a little. ”Anyway, that was it really. I just wanted to make things clear.”

It irritates him. It always does. He hates it when people keep admitting to themselves that they were weak, that they aren't worth to meet everyone's else expects. It just like they're making up excuses so that they don't have to moving forward. Thoughts like that are the very reason why there are just a certain people who have to keep their heads down for their whole lives. Midora considered it as the worst of disgrace. Looking up to the Demon, he retains his usual calm expression, but on the inside, he knows that it will take some while for them to understand, but he just couldn't stand anyone, especially his students having such thoughts. However, he is still sane enough to knows the person who is talking to him right now and he decided it'd be the best to let him have a chance to improve.

"First, I want to praise you for having courage to speak up your mind like that. I understand that my judgement was made solely on my point of view during your session. I didn't have any power that resembles you nor if I'd ever worked with someone with your ability so I may have not made a 100% correct judgement. However, I believe that what I've said earlier isn't wrong. The reason why I gave you those comments is that I trust you, as your teacher." Midora replied with the usual monotonous tone, but of course, every words that he has said were genuine.

Then he continued, "I think that it might because you didn't really understand the way I work. Of course, I've read your profiles carefully and I know your strengths and your weaknesses, though I need to watch you more from now on so that I can have better views of what you're truly capable. It's true that people sometimes, or even often, make mistakes. I think the reason why you've failed not because that you're weak, it just you didn't fully understand your own limits. Trying your best doesn't mean that you have to harassing yourself and pushing it too much. It is either that you don't want yourself to improve, or just that you don't have anyone to help you to. But you are here, aren't you? We can definitely work on that." Midora paused a bit to let his words sink in, "Even I, when I was young as you, I couldn't control my power properly either and I didn't remember a time that I went back from school without destroying something or even injured someone. But I tried, and eventually I became who I am right now. That is why I had my expectations on you because I know sooner or later, you CAN change. Whether worse or better is a different story."

Midora leaned further to Bugby, "And one more thing, I didn't really know what your parents had done to you go during your time staying with them. But at least, they realized your ability, they want you to be better. I won't defend them for whatever horrors they made you went through, but once they've sent you to this Academy, they've given you a chance to earn something that even they didn't know - freedom." As Midora spoke about this, he closed his eyes for a few moments as memories from the past began to pouring back to him. He was abandoned by the people who has brought him to this life. They humiliated him as if he is worse than the worst of scumbags, as if he was never their child, just because he was different. It was painful for him anytime he recalls it. But it didn't totally bad either. It was then, although he was full of grief that he has destroyed the very place where he was born, that he realized that he has the chance to follow whatever his heart desires, to be himself.

He looked up to Bugby, "I understand that most of you think this is just some sort of punishment, a prison no less, for those who are considered as misfits such as you. But not many think of this as a chance for them to renew their lives. No matter whatever purposes you came here for, willfully or forcefully, we Teachers want you to better yourself, even if you have no interests in doing so. You know why? Because once you've enough strength, once you've been held highly, no one can stop you from spreading your own wings, even your parents. It is the 'freedom' that personally I want you all to achieve one day. Have you understand?"

Then, he placed both of his arms casually on the table, "Bugby, your two teammates aren't as perfect as you thought they were. They also had their own flaws, you know. If you saw what Ichiro did yesterday, you will think different. Cleo also, but I hadn't told her about it yet. Which is why I don't want you to keep saying as if you are good for nothing like that. YOU are strong, ALL of you are strong, it just you need someone to help you realize that. Whether I was having an interest for you or not, my duty is to guide you, to teach you what is right, and I always keeping an eye open on you, you just didn't realize it, keep that in mind."

Midora came into his conclusion as he held the clip-board and tapped it onto his desk, "I know that you don't really like me, the reasons why are not my concern. But these are the sincerest advice from your supervisor. Whether you take them or not..." He said as he tilted his head with a light smile, "...is your choice."

With that said, Midora turned to the door, "Now, if you'd excuse us. The Headmaster and I have some problems to discuss, I suggest you should go to the infirmary to treat whatever problems you had, you'll need it." Then, Midora cleared his throat and raised his voice so that the person who is standing outside can hear, "Please come in, boss."

As the students finally are going to make some moves, Mikari couldn't felt more relieved. He crossed his legs as he felt somewhat excited for the fight. Mikari expects it to be bloody and intense as he always love to watch others sparring. Finally. Mikari's lips formed into a smirk as he saw Ruzik defended the staff while the other three girls are going to steal it from him. What the red-head Demon didn't realize that the Dark Mage knew about him more than he thought. For now, his job is to pay close attention to him and interrupted before Ruzik could has a chance for whatever schemes he had. Don't underestimate me. Mikari can be easy-going, but once he had had his eyes on someone, not a single movement of that person will escape his eyes.

As the fight went on, Mikari kept observing and realized the strategies that the other three girls used in order to go against the Incubus. But Ruzik was actually better than Mikari has thought before as he saw him up against the other three at the same time without much efforts. He sighed, looks like he got to push the Demon a bit more. However, at the first moment, he could immediately realized that something was going to be wrong when the battle's intensity got higher.

Mikari had felt that something has gone wrong when he felt the sense of bloodlust from them. The ones who remained standing, which are Liliane and Ruzik, emitted a very intense desire for killing. It's not like that he has never felt something like that before - Midora's bloodlust at his full power were a lot more intimidating than the two could ever compare, but if things keep going like this, one of them might really lose their lives.

Right at the moment Liliane placed his hand onto Ruzik's head, Mikari swiftly stood up and yelled as he approached them, "This fight is over! Stop!" But it seemed she ignored his order. Luckily, Ms. Sarah has stopped Liliane and pinned her against the bench where they were sitting. He went to checked on Ruzik. The Demon's energy is completely drained and his heartbeats are slower than usual, but fortunately that it wasn't really life-threatening yet. The Demon has lost his consciousness. Mikari sighed. He wouldn't be surprised if his beloved student is going to receive severe punishment for not being unable to control his killing intents, and the same would also goes to Liliane.

He looked up and saw that Muse has already go and get some help for Kou so he better worried for Ruzik and Kasumi for now. He stood up and reached for his bag of powder and blew a kind of levitating dust to the two. Kasumi floated on air and flew to Mikari. Until the dust wear off, the two of them will floated mid-air and follow Mikari wherever he goes. He then turned his back and went to the bench. Ms. Sarah, after comforting Liliane a bit, stood up and looked at Mikari. ”I can’t do anything more since they are primarily your group for the day so I’ll let you take action and decide what should be done.” She said as he stepped back.

Mikari could only sighed as he stood in front of the Mage and looked at her with a disappointed look, "I had expected better from the two of you and now you let your own hatred for each other to blind you from sanity." Mikari said depressingly to with another sigh then turned to Ms. Sarah, "According to the rules, whenever a student's killing intents got too high, which leads to them losing control of their own bloodlust, no matter intently or accidentally, resulting them in doing any actions or attempts that are life-threatening for the other students, the Teachers have the rights to temporarily seal that student's powers. But further decisions and punishments will be made by the Headmaster himself. Things have went out of control so I won't be able to make any judgement, which is the purpose of this exercise. For now, I will do what I have to."

With that said, Mikari raised his arm toward Liliane as a dark circle appeared and black chains sprung out from it, circling around the Mage before they merged into her, leaving countless marks with the shape of chains on her body. "Until the Headmaster decide what to do, you will be banned from using your power. I will take you to the detention room. Sorted out whatever problems you had with your Teacher when you get there, I can't do anything otherwise." Mikari said then turned to the Demon Teacher, "Please come with me, Ms. Sarah."

With that said, Mikari helped Liliane to stood up and made her walked by his side as he took them out of the practice's ground. He then took her to the detention room. When he reached there, he asked Ms. Sarah, "I will take these two to the infirmary and inform the Headmaster. Please look after Liliane until the Headmaster come." He said then turned his back and walked towards the infirmary's direction. Upon arriving there, he saw that Julie the Nurse are already busying with the other students from Midora's group. He sighed, "I'm sorry, Julie." He cleared his throat in order to gain her attention, "Looks like you already having a busy morning today, but can you take care of these two too? I'd be grateful."

He said with a light-hearted smile then waved his arm and two students were gently laid on two empty beds in the Office. "Oh, and before I forget." Mikari said as he took out a power-sealing talisman from his robe, "Please place this talisman on that red-head when he has recovered a bit. Let just say that things have went out of control a bit and the Headmaster will decide what to do. Thanks and see you later." He smiled before headed out and walked towards the Headmaster's Office. He sighed as he thought about what has happened today. Well, just hope that things won't go any worse today.

Memphis heard Midora summoning him inside, and once watching the demon-boy quickly taking his leave and heading off, the Headmaster walked into the office and sat across from the mage-teacher. "I didn’t wish to intrude so I thought it best I let you talk with your student first, and I am quite impressed by how you dealt with that – not that I was eavesdropping, entirely." Leaning back in his seat the demon crossed one leg over the other and rested his hands against his lap. "Anyway, you mentioned that the Department had sent a new mission and you wanted to talk? That’s why I’m here."

The demon noticed that the mage had seemed to have settled nicely into the office, perhaps it wouldn’t be that bad having a mage near him most of the time. Not that he disliked them, not at all. It just almost felt like having his master next to him – an odd feeling that at most, and he tried to ignore it for the time being. "It won’t be surprising to know that I haven’t had any experience with the missions that the Department give out – I’m still new here, and though approving me as Headmaster I can’t help but imagine that quite a few of the higher-ups are still not too thrilled about me just yet." He grinned whilst speaking, clearly finding a sense of amusement from the thought of irking the officials. "Nevertheless, my master did inform of them, so I have a rough idea of how things go around here."

Memphis didn’t want to appear too clueless, though given his only just recent arrival to the academy it wasn’t such an easy thing to manage. If anything the demon just tried to remember what his master had told him – and that old guy had told him a tone of stuff to keep in mind. With a sigh he puffed on his cigarette, though keeping the smoke to a minimum whilst he sat within a close area with his colleague. "So, care to enlighten me on what the mission is? I imagine that is what you wanted to talk about, and whatever else happens to come into your mind."

Ruzik R.

Image

Ruzik awoke from the bed he had been placed on within the infirmary. Apparently he had lost conciseness not long after, if not during the point that the mage had been beating down on him. Just the thought caused a burning hatred for the girl, whatever her name was - he cared little for it. Although what did catch his attention was what she had said, though he could only recollect it vaguely, the demon believed the girl had said, “The world is better off without your kind.” His eyes opened widely as the words echoed within his mind, before slowly returning to their half-open state as the incubus felt his entire body ache.

Gritting his teeth Ruzik forced himself upright as he attempted to sit up, though once slumping over just a little he felt the sudden presence of another, and before he knew it he felt a foreign item placed upon him – though the demon was slow to fully acknowledge what had just happened, and it took a little while before he glanced down and noticed some sort of talisman on him. It was a round object attached to a chain that went around his neck however when he tried to remove it the thing simply would not budge – as if it was immune to the demon in every sense!

”Nabbed you like a baby, heh. Well, that’s one task done.” The nurse said with evident pride as she stood next to the incubus who was clearly confused. Feeling a little sorry for him she leaned in a little closer to the demon, resting her hands on the side of the bed. ”Your teacher asked me to put that on you once you were a little better, apparently things got a bit out of control and l think you’re suppose to wear that until the Headmaster decides what to do with you next.” It wasn’t really any of her business, but since the infirmary was filling up with students the nurse couldn’t help but be a little curious.

Clearly annoyed the demon attempted a few more times to get the talisman off him, but to little avail. The thing was determined to stay around his neck much to his displeasure. ”Why won’t it come off?!” He snapped and narrowed his eyes towards the nurse.

The nurse pushed herself off the bed and returned to her upright stance, crossing her hands over whilst raising a brow. ”Well, I can’t say for sure, but I’m guessing that whoever that talisman belongs to is the one who can remove it – which would be your teacher, most logically. As to what it does I don’t know, you’ll have to have that fun yourself.” With a shrug the woman gave the demon the once over, and despite the wounds he had the demon was otherwise fine – well, his attitude was in perfect condition. Whenever the woman got close to him to check his injuries the incubus pushed her away, at times quite forcefully, and Julie decided that she could leave him for awhile and attend her other patients. After all, the place was busier than usual and the woman was needed elsewhere, so it would be alright for now.

After she had left Ruzik sat silently for a few minutes, still feeling pretty rough however that wasn’t his main focus at that moment. The bleeding from his wounds had stopped, but they weren’t healed and really the incubus cared little for taking care of himself. With great effort, the demon moved himself off from the bed and got to his feet – although initially he fell to the ground and dropped to his knees, and it took several minutes until he managed to pull himself back upright.

Clearly exhausted, Ruzik took a few steps forward, albeit slowly and somewhat painfully, and checked to see if anyone noticed him. Although not having a clear idea of what the talisman was doing to him the demon could feel his strength decreasing slightly, causing his body to be gradually uneasy as he proceeded to make his way to the exit. Slipping out unnoticed, mainly due to the large amounts of students, Ruzik headed down the hallway and tried to distance himself from the infirmary.

His upper body leaned to the side and slid along the wall as he took each step, all the while he mentally tried to summon forth some form of weapon to vent out his anger – but he couldn’t. Unenthusiastically, he wasn’t surprised and yet still couldn’t believe it. ”Those
 bastards
 why do they
 punish me? I was the
 one who
 got
 attacked
” It was true, that mage-girl had attacked him! So why was he being punished also? Was it due to what he was going to do to Kasumi? How pathetic. ”Why would
 Mikari
 do that to
 me
 Don’t I matter
to him?” His breaths were short and slow, long gaps forming between each of his words as the incubus came to a gradual halt and sat himself down one the lower steps of a staircase.

That bitch. How dare that girl attack him! What was worse was that she succeeded in practically knocking Ruzik out, which was a slightly scary thought. Did she hate him that much? Why. He hadn’t done anything to her, though he’d quickly correct that fact soon enough. She would be dead. Everyone would be. All those mages, teachers
demons. Feeling a sharp pain in his gut the redhead cried out in pain, though it seemed nobody heard him. The pain kept building and attacking his insides, causing the redhead to continually cry as result. His hunger was erupting furiously as his own anger and desire to kill grew, but having lost his powers the demon couldn’t fulfill it.

Ruzik didn’t know what to do just then. He was in pain and temporarily lost his powers, he couldn’t aid himself in any way and so far nearly everyone was against him! With a weak shrug, the redhead rested his head in his hands as he felt a strong headache coming on - all the while his energy was weakening and his all-round general mood was dropping.

Cleo Gardenia

Cleo found Ichiro to be quite adorable as he acted cool about the whole thing. She couldn’t quite tell whether it was completely true or not, though of course, the slight blush she noticed was definitely a motivation for causing a little mischief with the boy. ”Wow, you’re so cool Ichiro, most guys would’ve totally freaked out by now.” She said a little teasingly, as she placed a finger against one of his legs and lightly ran it across his skin in a playful manner. ”After all, we’ve seen you in your underwear but you haven’t seen us in ours, it’s a bit unfair for you,” The girl purred with a slight grin, as she dragged her finger all the way up his leg and then poked his hip. ”I’ll have to make it up to you later, Ichi.”

Not long after Bugby appeared and quickly pointed out that Ichiro was not properly dressed. The feline giggled, stepping back from the mage as she faced the demon. ”Yeah, the nurse needed to get a better look at his leg before she could heal it, that’s all.” The girl explained and walked over to the demon-boy and rested her hands onto his crossed-over arms. ”Buggie, you jealous of Ichi and his girls, eh?” She leaned up and whispered in his ear, most undoubtedly causing some form of a reaction. Pulling away soon after the girl continued, ”We’re glad you made it back, I’m surprised you didn’t wander off again – which reminds me, your arm needs attending to, as well.”

Looking away briefly Cleo noticed the horned-girl and took a few steps over towards her. ”Hey, you’re the girl from before – I saw you with Hive, and Ichiro earlier. My names Cleo, you look a bit lost and I didn’t see you here yesterday, so I’m guessing you just arrived today? Ha! Well, you’re in luck, you just met a good bunch of demons and mages,” She smiled to the other demon before quickly adding, ”You already know Ichiro – the guy on the bed there, and that’s Bugby next to him. It’s nice to speak with you.”

Just then the nurse returned and stood beside Ichiro, though she quickly noticed the other demon that had arrived shortly before and let out a sigh. ”Not another one,” She playfully said when seeing Bugby’s injured arm. ”Right, you’re next mister after I deal with this one.” Turning her attention back onto Ichiro the woman leaned in closely and examined the wound on his leg. ”Looks nasty, but I should be able to fix that right up.”

About ten minutes later the woman was done and had healed the boy’s wound, his leg looking better than ever as not even a scar was left! Wiping her hands, Julie was clearly pleased with herself, though feeling a little tired, before she looked to the students though more especially Bugby. ”Now you.” Leaning over the nurse grabbed hold of the green-haired demon and pulled him around before sitting him down on the side of the bed. ”You kids seem to do more damage than us adults, you know. But I don’t think that should be much hassle either, it’s not too deep – thankfully!” Making sure his arm was bare, the nurse then held it securely with one hand before resting the other over the wound. She made sure the boy was ready before doing anything, and once he seemed settled she began.

Roughly five minutes after the wound was near enough gone, and the woman soon released the demon soon after. ”With the major injuries taking care of I think you can suffer the little scratches at least.” She laughed, before seeing her presence was needed elsewhere and quickly the woman hurried off. But stopping for a moment, the nurse dug into one of her pockets before bringing out a handful of lollipops and threw them onto the bed. ”Help yourselves!”

Once the woman was gone Cleo walked over and picked up one of the lollipops and unwrapped it before sticking it into her mouth. ”I hope you guys feel better, and maybe we should make a promise to not end up back in here too soon – ‘cause I’d rather not spent my days here nursing you two.” Turning round, the feline picked up another lollipop before walking over and holding it out to the horned girl. ”Here, want one?”

As Cleo started to tease him, Ichiro's face took on a even greater shade of red. "Ya, most would freak out, but not me of course." Saying as his eyes followed Cleo's finger as it ran across his leg. His body tensing up as she began to speak again. "Wait what, nah, nah, no, nope, don't think you really need to make it up to me I'm fine, just fine." He said with a stammer. Jumping a little as he got poked in the hip. Trying to escape Cleo's teasing by backing up, but he had nowhere to go. Looking around for anyone who could help him, just as hope was seemingly lost Bugby arrive. With the arrival of Bugby, Cleo seemed to step back which freed Ichiro from the teasing allowing him a sigh of relief.

Cleo took the lead answering Bugby's questions, which was perfectly fine by Ichiro as he was still trying to recover from the torturing Cleo was giving him just seconds ago. Though the embarrassment quickly returned in full force as Cleo went out of her way to point out Ichiro to Muse. Now both Cleo and Muse had seen him in his underwear, Ichiro's face exploded into a fury of red coloring. "Thanks a lot Cleo, might as well take a picture it lasts longer." Ichiro mumbled to himself.

The Nurse had finally returned and it was all Ichiro had hoped for. It took about ten minutes, but it was finally all healed up still the ten minutes of sitting around with all eyes on him in this state, was not his idea of fun for the day. Looking at his leg Ichiro was quite shocked, her work was excellent, not even a scar was left from such a nasty wound. "Thank you for the healing." Ichiro said as he quickly re-summoned his pants, as they formed from golden particles that appeared out of no where. The Nurse turned to helping Bugby and Ichiro could only assume he would come out just as fine with no scratches if she could do such fine work on his own leg.

Ichiro took one of the lollipops and shoved it into his mouth as his face started to return to its normal color. "Of course we won't be in here again, we only got hurt because we are that strong and they pitted us against each other. As a team we are unbeatable, for sure." He said with a smirk. Getting off the bed as he stood up, taking a nice long stretch, grabbing his leg a little bit as it still felt a little weird almost like a tingle feeling, but that was expected when you take a wound like that and get it patched up so quickly. Looking over at Muse, it seemed in the end she never was able to participate in the challenge the headmaster had assigned. Watching as Cleo offered Muse one of the lollipops that the Nurse had left, Ichiro was still interested in knowing her powers. He had seen Hive's the first day and knew the basic's of his team, and the other teams as he watched the last fight through his mirror a bit. The only people he missed out on was the first team to fight, because it ended in a matter of seconds. And the only other person was Muse, though he didn't get to see Liliane's powers either he definitely saw her hatred for the red haired Demon. "So Muse, are you going to be able participate in the next game the class does. Or does the headmaster intend to keep you a mystery from the rest of us forever." Ichiro said with a smile as he sat back on the bed looking over at Muse.

In order to prevent the rabbit from going crazy due to pain, Nurse Julie had drugged the demon with a sufficient amount of anesthetic until her body's natural healing factor could kick in, therefore she was fast asleep and unable to defend herself should anyone try to attack the rabbit. Although why would they? As far as Kou knew she had killed all of her enemies and so far in the school she had only made friends. Or at least she considered them her friends. Ichiro, Bugby, Cleo, and Etelka had all been so kind to her. Then of course there was Ruzik. What was Kou to do with that silly incubus? Sure he could be annoying, stubborn, and blinded by his own selfishness but there were moments when Ruzik was sweet and she could look past his flaws and see how vulnerable the incubus really was.

The rabbit stirred; had it been quiet in the room you would have been able to hear the crackling sound that was her bones mending. The punch in the stomach had really done a number to her ribs and her normally porcelain colored skin was smeared with patches of black and blue and hitting her head on the pavement hadn't been fun either. The pleasant feeling of floating was sharply interrupted by the red hot sound of a voice popping into her mind. She swam through the inky blackness in an attempt to clutch onto the words and wade back to consciousness, but the harder Kou attempted to reach the sound the further away she was pushed. Something inside of her told Kou to give up, to allow the blackness to swallow her but another part was afraid that if she did so she would never wake up. It was a ridiculous argument really as the rabbit would be completely healed in a few hours but whether the drugs would be out of her bloodstream by then was an entirely different matter.

Then she heard her name being called and it was as though a jolt ran through her body. Someone important to her was there, holding her limp hand but what they were saying was fuzzy and unfocused. Slowly she attempted to tune her ears in on the words and eventually found a frequency that would reach her in this drugged state. ”Kou, if you forgive me, I promise to change and be faithful to you. I-I’ll fight my feelings and urges, and I’ll try to have more self-control,” why was Ruzik apologizing? He had only been acting on orders to protect the staff. Kou would love to be informed when she awoke as to which team won so that she would know as to whether or not her sacrifice was in vain. She would also love if her semi-boyfriend could keep a promise.

”Etelka no longer wants me, she said we’re through and our deal is terminated. S-So if I need anything, you said I could come to you, remember?” Was he seriously propositioning her in this condition? If she could have, Kou would have rolled her eyes so hard they probably would have fallen out of her head. That was so typical of the incubus. Of course Kou's answer would be the one he was hoping for as Ruzik was Kou's weakness. ”I was thinking whilst we’re here, and though you’re a little out of action at the moment, that we could
you know, right here?” Clearly the first thing the mages were going to have to teach Ruzik were some bedside manners. Still his hand was so warm and she was so cold laying in her underclothes on the tiny mattress behind the curtains.

Muse watched as Ichiro's pants turned into gold specks that reflected the light before disappearing completely. She was awed by this, like a child easily entertained by shiny objects. She was enthralled by Nurse Julie's ability to heal wounds so quickly leaving not so much as a scar where previously there had been a gash so large you could nearly see the bone. "Wow, she really healed your leg nicely." Muse leaned in further to look at Ichiro's now healed leg. Nurse Julie had washed away the blood before she allowed him to materialize his pants as walking around with exposed body fluids was not healthy for anyone.

Muse continued to be observe with the same sense of enthrallment as Julie moved on to heal Bugby's arm. The horned demon finally snapped out of it when Julie brought a few lollipops over and CLeo offered one too her. Muse slowly nodded her head, cautiously receiving the treat from the cat demon and unwrapping the sucker, popping it into her mouth. "Hello Cleo, hello Bugby." Muse said after they introduced themselves. She looked up at the demon in the corner and blinked, his eyes were the greenest color she had ever seen! Muse was instantly jealous although her eyes were the same exact color. She loved green with a fierce passion. "You have such pretty eyes," Muse said although whether or not she was heard was entirely different. She looked away when a newcomer arrived and expressed that he needed the nurse. "I'll go get her," Muse said looking away from the demon called Bugby and going to find Nurse Julie.

Kou stirred when the blanket was placed on top of her, it was so much warmer on the bed now with the covering that staying asleep was easy but Kou wanted to wake up. In her dream she continued to press towards the tiny amount of light that had slipped into the dark space of her drug induced sleep. Kou was ready to get up, she wanted to comfort Ruzik and tell him it was going to be alright even if she wasn't certain of the future. She didn't know about his abilities being sealed as that had happened after she had already been knocked out.

Finally Kou reached the light and a smile adorned her sleeping face as she slowly moved around in bed, rising at last. The rabbit turned her head, her eyes lazing over to see a certain red head sitting beside her. A genuine smile adorned her face as she reached over to touch whatever part of him she could reach, which happened to be the Incubus's knee. "So the girls won huh?" She had heard him utter the fact that he was mad about it. Although Ruzik had given it his all, it was three against one and his chances of winning had not been good from the start. Still it was nice to see him put so much effort into the game; or maybe he just didn't want to lose to a bunch of women? "Are you in pain? Why would someone try to kill you?" The rabbit asked with a worried expression and struggled to sit up

As soon as she had gotten into an upright position she fell back down, the sound of her bones crackling as she moved around filling the mostly silent air. At least this part of the infirmary was quiet whereas the other side was full of loud and anxious students waiting to get checked and healed by the nurse. Kou could only sit up for a few seconds before her body demanded that she lay back down and so the student sunk back against the mattress, waincing as she went down. "So how do you think the other groups did?" Kou asked, figuring the demon in Group 1, Bugby, probably won. He was strong and could mimic any ability which would be a great secret weapon in the future when they got to do real battles against actual threats.

Kou noticed something off about Ruzik; it was as if he was trying to repress something and so she scooted over a bit in bed, "Come lay beside me." Kou smiled and patted the spot on the mattress. It would be warmer with him and Kou loved the heat most beings gave off. It was a survival instinct of rabbits to get close to things that radiated heat.

Muse brought Nurse Julie back over, who took one look at the boy and gasped. She ran to go grab her first aid tools and rushed to the young mage's side. Muse stood by the curtain, however she leaned in a bit to further inspect the wound; it was nasty looking.... Blood ran down his cheek and stained his shirt, caking around where his neck and collar met. Muse watched with interest as Nurse Julie buzzed around the boy like a busy bee, cleaning the wound as much as she could with a simple soap and water solution. "This is going to hurt, here bite down on this." The woman said and handed Laurence a towel to put into his mouth. Nurse Julie then hovered her hands over the wound and said something, a seal made of light appearing and four arrows shooting outwards before a gentle yellow glow emitted from her fingertips that she then pressed against the wound.

Muse did not want to break Nurse Julie's focus and so she stood back, simply watching in awe as the woman performed her work. Healing truly was an amazing talent and Muse wished she could do something so beautiful. As far as she knew all she had was a vague sense of causing people pain and mass destruction. Not that she minded of course, Muse had been told that killing was what she did best. So why change? But what if that was the whole reason she had been sent here? So that they could change her? She felt like she was going through an identity crisis. Muse stepped back, she was already standing in the corner; out of everyone's way so she did not fear bumping into someone.

She leaned against the wall and slid so that she was sitting on the floor then the demon brought her knees up to her chest and hugged them tight against her body as a panic attack began to take over. Her horns scraped against the wall and she flinched at the ugly sound; hoping they were all too distracted by Julie and her magical healing to notice Muse in the corner. Could demons have panic attacks? Or maybe this was an actual identity crisis? Muse's breathing came out in quick, short breaths and her entire being trembled; maybe it was anxiety?

Bugby glanced at the young boy that came to the group, seemingly having a sore cheek and stained with blood on his clothes. Unfazed, the demon quietly watched as his feline teammate put the youth onto the bed. The other girl had left to fetch the nurse again, and in the meantime the green-haired demon just stood with his arms crossed. He didn’t really know what to say, and he was the type to prefer to keep himself silenced at most times, mainly whenever round groups of people. Shifting his gaze he saw the woman returning and tending to the young mage, at least that was what Bugby had guessed along with Cleo.

The nurse did what she did and got to work healing the boy, though not wishing to distract the woman the demon just observed from where he stood, somewhat intrigued by her abilities to heal. Though it was mainly due to the fact he could perhaps mimic it, which would have been an interesting thing to try though not at that moment, especially after he lost the exercise due to such ability. Sighing, he uncrossed his arms and appeared a little bored, but it was short-lived as he heard a very weird noise and turned his head towards the direction it came from.

He saw Muse down against the wall sitting, she looked quite distressed and Bugby couldn't help but tilt his head a little. It truly was an awkward sight, the demon couldn't figure out whether or not Muse was alright, though clearly she appeared to be in some sort of discomfort. Hesitant, the boy stood and glanced to the other students, seeing whether they noticed or not. However, Bugby began to feel weird himself as he stood glancing between the bodies of youths and the sitting girl, wondering whether or not he should move himself productively.

A moment or so later, taking a deep breath, the demon began to walk over to where the horned girl sat and soon knelt down beside her, hunching himself over his knees as he stared at her. Hopefully she didn’t think he was weird, or too weird at least, as he watched her quietly to assess what exactly was going on. And from a first glance, he noticed her breathing was irregular and her body was ever so slightly shaking, which evidently wasn't normal. ”A-Are you alright? Muse, isn't it?” He asked, quickly realizing it may have been a stupid question.

”Eh... You have to calm yourself down and slow your breathing, relax and make yourself comfortable,” He said in a rather matter-of-fact tone, though really he was only guessing as to what would help, if nothing else. ”Breath in, and out. In, out.” The boy did try to sound more reassuring however that wasn’t really Bugby’s strong point, if he ever really had one. Either way he remained in front of the girl, his oddly calm demeanor hopefully influencing her perhaps, if only. ”Maybe put one hand over your chest to see if your breathing decreases
I remember reading it somewhere, so it may assist
you. Also, try and take five slow, deep breaths. If you steady your breathing then you ought to feel some improvement.” The demon advised, before glancing over to the nurse and wondered if he should get the woman over.

Laurence Snow

Laurence was a little caught off-guard as the cat-girl took him and sat the boy on the bed, however he was appreciative of it all the same. The feline then went on to ask him what happened to him however Laurence could merely chuckle a little, forcing a smile towards her. ”Yeah, I got bit by
a demon, but it’s all good so no need to worry.” He assured the girl, feeling a bit reassured that she was very nice to him, as was everyone really. ”Oh yeah, I am a mage actually. Funny you should notice that, as I already guessed you were a demon.” Before he could add anything further the mage noticed a woman and the horned girl approaching, which forced Laurence to face what he guessed was the nurse. Almost immediately she began to clean his wound, before warning that it was going to hurt, which was a little unsettling to the boy as he braced himself for whatever would come next.

Noticing the towel, the boy sat the black wand onto the bed next to him before accepting the towel, and quickly stuffed it into his mouth to bit onto, as he feared the worst. As the youth felt the woman getting to work he squeezed his eyes shut tightly and bared whatever pain he felt afterwards. A short time later, once assuming the woman was done the boy opened his eyes, blinking a few times before staring at the nurse. ”Ah, thank-you very much I feel way better.” He praised her with a smile, though couldn’t resist the urge to reach his hand up and touch the area where he had been bit to check it somewhat. ”Haha, that’s amazing, it doesn’t hurt! I mean, well it feels funny but I guess that is to be expected.” Dropping his hand the boy remained sitting on the bed, quickly picking up the wand and holding it against his lap, to ensure he didn’t lose it. However, the boy had been so distracted by the nurse he hadn’t noticed that the group had shrunken by a member or two, and then turned to the feline and other mage boy and asked, ”So, how do I look?”

Memphis

Memphis watched the young mage-girl rise from her seat, even apologizing to him which was appreciated. The demon simply gave a nod of acknowledgment to Liliane, as she took her leave and left the room altogether. Sighing a little to himself, Memphis thought that was it over with until he heard Miss Rayne just then, gaining his attention quickly.

"Every action has a consequence and affects those around them. Once she realizes that then the girl will think twice before causing trouble, which is what I want. It was merely a play of words rather than a call to action, Miss Rayne." The redhead replied quite tonelessly, clearly disregarding any form of concern. However the girl took his words was of little interest to him, if she accepted it as a threat then good, it only showed how serious he was then. "Worry not, no harm shall come to you. I am merely trying to teach the girl a lesson, as well as Ruzik. I cannot afford for those two to kick off again so I will do what I must, I hope you understand. Though your influence seems to prove well with that girl, I’d much prefer it if you could keep her in line and guide her, therefore I would not have to deal with her myself. I’m sure Liliane may enjoy that more than having to see me."

He watched the woman pull out what looked like a cigarette pack, surprisingly. He hadn’t seen many others smoke beside himself, if anyone at all. "You smoke?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. However his curiosity was short lived when remembering the woman’s other question, to which he replied, "I will be calling the students back to class right now actually, at least those who are still able to, given the first exercise. I’m going to go to my office and put an announcement out, so when you’re ready head back to class. I’ll see you there Miss Rayne."

With that said the demon turned and quickly left the room, making his way up to his office to use the academy’s intercom system since he’d gotten quite use to it. It didn’t take the redhead long to reach his office, and once there he walked over to his desk and pushed down on the small device. "Attention students, all those who are part of the Headmasters class should head back now – those who are fit and well, that is. You are expected here sharp-ish, do not doddle."

Standing back, the Headmaster then left his office just as speedily as he hurried along the hallways and made his way to the classroom. Once there, he entered the room calmly and sat himself at the desk. Hopefully there would be enough students, though the exercises had taken turned he had not expected surprisingly. But still, he would wait and see.

Cleo Gardenia

Image

Cleo watched as the nurse got to work on the mage-boy, she truly was fascinated by the woman’s abilities, however she knew such things were too advanced for her to comprehend. Instead she just watched, and once the nurse was done Cleo peered over the woman to see her handiwork. The mage looked as good as new which still amazed her, and when allowed she got in close to study his face.

”You look great, eh
what’s your name? Haha, I didn't even ask! How silly.” The feline asked when realized she hadn’t, smiling to the boy as she excitedly awaited his answer. Looking over him once more Cleo stepped back, turning her gaze to her demon teammate, or she would have but he seemed distracted by muse over beside the wall, though as to what was going on the feline didn’t know. Instead, she looked to Ichiro and skipped over to her mage. When about to say something a voice erupted in the air from the intercoms, she quickly recognized it to be the Headmaster. "Attention students, all those who are part of the Headmasters class should head back now – those who are fit and well, that is. You are expected here sharp-ish, do not doddle."

Cleo then quickly turned back to Ichiro. ”Hey, Ichiro, are you fit and well? Can you go to class. I don’t mind hanging around here if you’re not, but if you are, then we can go. We can drag Bugby with us too, though he looks busy with that other girl, surprisingly.” She purred and gazed at her mage with a goofy smile.

Ichiro sat quietly resting his eyes as Bugby asked what had happened between him and the former Headmaster. Flinching at the question he laid still, quietly hoping that Bugby would just move onto something else. As Ichiro was really not in the mood to answer or lie his way out of the question. The distraction he wanted showed up just in time, in the form of another student who seemed to draw both Bugby's and Cleo's attention away from the question. Though the boy looked oddly familiar, he looked kind of similar to the one in their class who was new this morning.

Standing as he watched the Nurse keep administering aid one after another. It seemed as if people getting hurt was all to common here at this school. Watching as she finished healing the new kid, it seemed he was all fixed up, though Ichiro wondered what Demon would have bit him? Looking over he spotted Bugby talking with Muse, and he couldn't help, but grin as he wanted to mess with him. Though not really in the mood right now, he returned to looking over at Cleo and listening in on her conversation with the new kid who happened to be a mage as well it seemed.

Thinking to himself for a bit, he looked up to notice Cleo heading his way just as the headmaster made an announcement. Returning his attention to Cleo after as to answer her question. "Ya, I feel better then ever. I can escort you to class right now if you want to go? Oh leave Bugby to me, I'll ask him right now." Saying with a grin while looking over at Bugby and Muse. He hadn't been in the mood to mess with them before, but now he was. "Bugby, Muse, do Cleo and I need to walk you back to class so that you don't sneak off together. You two seem to be having a very intimate moment it seems. Though remember school comes before "those" kinds of things Bugby, I thought Cleo and I taught you better." He said in a joking manner. Being clearly blatant about what he was implying.

Kou was stuck, figuratively and literally. She shouldn't have said those things, she realized; she had been mad and didn't mean it. Gosh, how could she have been so stupid? Ruzik was so fragile, he didn't understand that words could hurt and it very much felt as though he had broken her. He had called her used, as though it were her fault. It was a mistake to do that, they shouldn't have had sexual relations but somehow Kou had hoped that sleeping with Ruzik would make things easier between them and for a minute or two when they had fallen asleep next to each after she had felt so at peace. Kou wished things could be like that all the time.

If rabbits could cry then surely Kou would be a sobbing mess. Instead she hid under the bed, her heart and spirit broken. His parting words had been enough to quell the fire and make her feel as though a pit of nothingness had swallowed Kou whole. She could finally be free? What did that mean? Was he breaking up with her? Kou didn't want to break up, she had just wanted a little time to herself to sort through her emotions. It seems she would get much more than she had bargained for. The rabbit stayed hidden behind her shoes, she was stuck in the room anyways; there was no way Kou could open a door without thumbs.

A few minutes later it was quiet, Kou slowly hopped out from under the bed and lay on her side in the middle of the floor. It was a dangerous thing to leave a rabbit alone as they could die of a broken heart (this is a true fact btw, rabbits, ducks, and penguins can die when separated from their loved ones). The whole reason she had been turned into a human in the first place was to prevent her from perishing after being separated from her family, but that hadn't turned out so well. Perhaps this was Tsu's doing? Maybe he was coming to take her back? Kou didn't want to go back to the moon, or to that shrine in Japan but any place was better than this dorm room right now.

There was a knock on the door, the metal hinges creaking open slowly. "Knock, knock," the cheerful nurse that had treated Kou's injuries this morning bound into the room carrying a bottle of pills; probably for Ruzik's hunger. Kou couldn't bring herself to move, normally she would have volunteered to take the medicine to him but right now Kou wanted nothing to do with the incubus. She just wanted to lay down and die. Currently she was halfway there, or maybe Kou was just being dramatic.

"Oh dear!" Nurse Julie dropped the bottle and knelt down to scoop Kou up. "Are you injured? Who locked you in here?" Kou had no idea whether or not the nurse recognized her as in rabbit form Kou was neither pink nor blue, she was white with what looked like thick rings of eyeliner around her eyes (this species of rabbit is called a Dwarf Hotot). Nurse Julie placed Kou back on the floor and looked around for a moment, her eyes landing on the discarded clothing, so the rabbit was a student after all. She grabbed the blanket from the bed and folded it in an odd fashion, placing the rabbit inside and picking up the blanket so it was wrapped around her.

Nurse Julie carried Kou to the infirmary and gently put the bundle down on one of the beds. She rummaged through her drawers, yelling an "Ah ha!" And pulling out a wicker basket. The nurse lined it with a small pillow and picked the rabbit up, nestling her inside of it. As soon as Kou was no longer restrained by the blanket she flopped back onto her side, her will to live seemingly gone. He said I was used... She thought once more and closed her eyes. "Don't move, I'm going to find Mikari." Nurse Julie ran out, leaving the rabbit alone once more.

The Nurse ran down the hall, attempting to sense the aura of the dark mage. Luckily he was in the teacher's dorms, which was not that far from the medical center. "Mikari!" Nurse Julie called and to the door, knocking fiercely and panting slightly as she was not wearing her running shoes. "I need your help, there's something wrong with one of your students." She stood upright and took a deep breath, lowering her voice a bit and hoping he could hear her through the closed door. "It's the rabbit one, Kou."

Carnage was a beautiful thing, the ripped apart limbs of monsters steaming around her made Muse feel exhilarated and enthralled the demon to no end. Blood covered her claws, splattered across her clothing and face but it wasn't enough. Her thirst for blood had not been quenched and she continued to tear through whatever dare to cross her path. Muse's eyes were wide in feral delight, what seemed like a permanent grin plastered to her mouth as she rammed through a harpy that had come too close to her with her horns. A delighted laugh ripped from her body and Muse nearly fell over. Death! Destruction! This was her element! Not that she realized it, the girl was so lost in the battle that she had hardly noticed a monster sneaking up on her.

Something rammed Muse in the back, knocking the breath out of the green eyed girl. She rolled a few feet through the field, accumulating grass stains on her white shirt. This seemed to bring Muse back to her senses, or maybe it had just angered her. Muse bounced back onto her feet, targeting the thing that dared to try and beat her. With a guttural cry Muse charged, jumping and slashing at the back of the thing with her claws. Her talons seemed to bounce right off the skin of the animal and Muses's attempt to kill it only seemed to anger the animal more. With one paw it hit the ground and slowly the beast lowered its head and charged. This time Muse was prepared and jumped out of the way, watching as it ran head first into another student.

"Ouch," Muse cringed and shrugged, stretching the shoulder that had hit the ground and turning back to the battle. Wait a second? Weren't they supposed to work together? Muse ran to assist the closest demon, which happened to be Cleo. The girl was grappling with a Minotaur and from the looks of it Cleo was about to get trampled. Muse jumped on to assist the cat girl and swung her claws across the Minotaur's eyes, clawing at his face. Muse looked around for something she could use as a weapon and leaped out of the way of an oncoming hit, scooping up a fallen tree branch and swinging at the Minotaur with it like a baseball bat. She missed the first few times as the branch was heavy and Muse was small, but eventually she landed a blow right on the beast's gut, then again in the head. "Watch out!" Muse pulled Cleo off of the Minotaur's back as he fell backwards into the grass, a trickle of blood dancing across his forehead. "I've got your back if you've got mine?" Muse asked and struck the Minotaur one more time to ensure that it was down for the count.

Cleo seemed to bounce right back up, the Minotaur having no effect on the girl's energy. Muse was glad to hear that Cleo would have her back and the horned girl nodded her head, a smile tickling her lips. Cleo stuck out one of her thumbs, as if trying to tell Muse something. What did this gesture mean? Muse wondered. Was it some sort of sign language? Muse returned the sign, hoping it was positive and that she did not somehow insult the cat.

Muse shrugged at Cleo's thanks. She had simply done for the cat what she would have wanted someone to do for her should Muse have been the one stuck on a monster's back. Something tried to grab at them from the sky, a harpy that was flying a bit too low for comfort. Muse swung the stick at it, watching as it tumbled out of the sky and hit the ground with a thump! Muse tossed her makeshift weapon, watching as the branch hit the creature square in the chest. "Yes, let's finish this up." Muse agreed with a nod of her head. She pulled her hair back, tying it into a messy bun and following Cleo's lead. The cat went after a gargoyle. Clearly handle herself but Muse stayed close by in case there was a repeat of the Minotaur incident.

Muse brandished her claws, holding them up in a pose that said she was ready to strike. "Come at me you ugly beast," Muse hissed at a nearby imp. It looked similar to a goblin, with green skin and dead eyes. The imp limped its way forward, it was slow and moved as though it were half asleep. Muse stepped to meet it and swung, but it was as though the thing had been wound into action. Suddenly the imp jumped, drawing some sort of weird looking curved dagger and slashing at Muse with the weapon. Muse stepped out of the way, the world suddenly upside down as she did a back bend to avoid getting stabbed. The demon flipped over so that she was back on her feet and jumped to avoid the imp's next attack.

He came at her with as much vim and vigor as a child in a candy shop. They clashed weapons, dagger against claws. She clapped her hands around the sword, pulling the imp forward and punching him in the face. The imp stumbled backwards but recovered quickly and swung at Muse once more eagerly. This time he clipped her side, tearing through Muse's shirt in a single slice. Muse winced and stepped back, pressing one hand against the wound. Thankfully it was small and she would still be able to fight, but it was painful all the same. Anger fueled her, how dare the imp lay his filthy hands on her! She jumped forward, rage blinding her as she shredded the little thing apart with her claws. Muse was not invincible, but in a fit of rage it was hard to stop the demon.

There was no answer, was Mikari already asleep? Nurse Julie paced in front of the door worriedly. She had no idea what was wrong with the student, it wasn't something her healing magic could detect which meant that there was no physical ailment. That only left mental wounds, which unfortunately Julie could not heal. No amount of band aids or light magic could patch a broken heart, that was something that could only be cured through mending a bond. Maybe Julie should go back to the dorm she found the girl in and look around for clues? There had been the discarded clothing throughout the space and the bed had been messed up.

Was there something she overlooked? Julie had been in a bit of a rush. The nurse knocked on Mikari's door once more and spoke through the wooden barrier, "Mikari if you can hear me then please meet me in the infirmary." It was late in the evening, she wouldn't be surprised if Mikari had turned in for the night. Should she wait for Memphis and Midora to return from their outing? But by then it could be too late. Julie could be wrong in her diagnoses, there could be some dark magic at work that her light magic couldn't detect.

The nurse tip toed down the halls, attempting to be as quiet as possible so as not to disturb any of the students. A sound caught her attention then, someone running the same direction she was heading in. Nurse Julie picked up her speed in case someone had been injured, or to catch the running student and scold them for speeding through the halls at such an hour. She stopped in front of an open door, spotting a familiar redhead who was tipping a bottle of pills down his throat. Nurse Julie's eyes widened and she ran forward, ripping the bottle from Ruzik's hands. "What are doing?! Taking more than three at a time can kill you!"

The room was the same as it had been before aside from the addition of the incubus downing the pills. Evidently he had already swallowed them and so getting him to spit them up would be a near impossible task, not unless Julie made him drink something particularly vile that would cause the boy to throw up. "Ruzik, next time you decide to take your medicine make sure you actually read the bottle." She pointed to the label on the little yellow pill holder. "Would you mind coming with me? We need to take care of this before the pills can poison you." She wasn't sure if Ruzik would understand so Julie explained it. "Medicine can do good things when taken correctly, but if you abuse it or take too much it can kill you."

"Now let's get you to the infirmary."

Ruzik almost choked when the nurse suddenly arrived outside of the door. Within a split second she ran toward him and snatched the bottle from his grasp. Once securely acquiring the pills the women went on to lecture the demon on taking so many – apparently more than three could kill him, but Ruzik wasn’t quick to believe the nurse until it was proven to him. With a faint sigh, the demon knelt down and sat on the ground figuring that he wasn’t planning on leaving with the woman. Dying or not he had to find Kou, that was his priority and he would not seek aid until he did just that!

He listened to the nurse’s lecture though it didn’t seem to improve his attitude towards leaving the room. ”I-I can’t go, not until I find my rabbit!” He told the nurse, his hands slowly clenching into fists as he set them down against the floor. ”A small white rabbit, the most beautiful little creature you could ever have seen
she was here, but I shut her in and now she’s gone. Someone must have taken her!” Moving his gaze away from the woman he looked to the discarded dress near the bed and reached over to pick it up, holding it close to him as he hugged it against his chest. Ruzik couldn’t deny the guilt that overcame him by that point, perhaps he had been a bit cruel to the girl? He hadn’t meant his words; he was just prone to lashing out at whoever was closest to him which unfortunately was Kou.

”I don’t care if it poisons me I-I just want to find Kou and fix things,” He felt relatively fine for the most part, so Ruzik believed things weren’t as bad as the woman was making out. Maybe she was just exaggerating? Or the effects hadn’t kicked in just yet. ”For your information I’m not sick and therefore I do not need medicine. For all I know you could be trying to scare or trick me, you’re just like the rest of them. I don’t have some disease...” He wondered where Etelka was at that moment, figuring the girl would have been with him though clearly she wasn’t. Perhaps she was on her way? Yeah, probably. The incubus had rushed ahead after all, he figured. Oddly enough he’d rather have the demon with him than the nurse, for some reason. Besides, he had already consumed the pills so what did it matter now? What could the nurse do? Ruzik just rolled his eyes and kept Kou’s dress close to him whilst hugging it.

Taking a deep breath the incubus rose from the ground and straightened himself upright, however once back onto his feet he stumbled backward a little and caught himself against the drawer. His balance had wavered for a moment but the incubus regained himself quickly, clutching the girls dress before pushing off the drawer and finally standing unsupported.

”D-Don’t bother nurse I have to find Kou! Either help or get out my way.” The demon said and took a few steps forward, before slightly stumbling again as he fell into the nurse a little and grabbed her gently. Frowning just a tad he pushed off her and forced his way across and outside of the room. ”Etelka! S-She's not... here... Kou's... gone.” There had been a few awkward pauses between his words for some reason as he leaned against the door frame and tried to play off his sudden bout of lethargicness, his eyes looking about for the other demon-girl. What was the nurse going to do anyway, drag him to the infirmary? Whatever. It didn’t matter, he just had to find Kou.

It seemed like he planned to resist her for a moment, when suddenly Ruzik was overtaken by what seemed to be panic. He sprinted past her and even told her to come along, it seemed when he was concentrating on being a contrary ass he did appreciate her at least slightly. Etelka not sharing the same panic did not sprint as he did, instead calmly walking down the halls towards his dormitory. She heard his shouting from down the hall and dreadfully wished to apologize to everyone he would be waking at this hour. A woman who seemed to be a medical officer slipped into the room only a short moment before the demon girl arrived, and then also shouted for a moment.

Etelka leaned on the wall outside the room as the nurse was lecturing the stupid incubus about drugs or something. Did he have such little self-control he needed to be medicated? The mere idea caused the girl to be overcome with shame and pity; hopefully these drugs were related to other issues or cravings. The incubus spat back uncaring words at the nurse; he was truly desperate to be with this rabbit. This love he felt must have been rather strong given he was willing to poison himself to simply make up with the rabbit, and if the poison was anything like the ones Etelka had been subject to it was a not a thing one should seek.

Ruzik stumbled his way into the doorway and spoke to her, actually it barely seemed like it was to her. He barely even looked beyond the entrance and his words came out slowly, the incubus had clearly become very stressed dealing with this issue. In order to confront the issue finding the rabbit was priority number one. If he wasn't in such a state perhaps she would have the ability to realize that doctor hardly showed up because her doctor senses were tingling about drug abuse. It at least seemed possible that the rabbit was at the infirmary, she had no other leads anyway.

Etelka didn't even move or change her gaze from the wall in front of her. "Miss Kou is probably at the infirmary, and no this is not a ruse I care little for your health. Run ahead I'll catch up." She glanced to the side and waited for her kin to depart, moving into the doorway after his movement. "Doctor you'll be able to get the pills out of him after he calms down, or if you can't I will. Either way you may wish to run back to the infirmary, he is going to tear that place apart looking for the rabbit." The demon stepped out of the doorway and began to walk her way to the infirmary.

Nurse Julie frowned as Ruzik began agonizing over finding a certain animal. "Did you say rabbit?" Julie tuned into his wailing. "You know what happened to her?" She grabbed Ruzik's shoulders as if this were very important. Was Ruzik the one that had put the girl in that state? "Etelka's right, she's at the infirmary. She was in here earlier, when I entered she was laying on her side in pain. I took Kou to the infirmary but unfortunately her injury is the one thing my magic can't heal." Julie released the incubus and shook her head, it was obvious the dosage he took was beginning to take effect, his words were slurring and he was stumbling. They really needed to get to the medical center before Ruzik passed out.

"Come on," Nurse Julie put Ruzik's arm over her shoulder, the boy was in a pitiful state and she didn't think they could wait any longer. "You can see your rabbit after we get those pills out of you." Julie only had to remove the last two, the other three could remain in the Incubus's stomach. The scientist in her was dying to see how this medicine worked, but Julie knew better then to subject a student to such an experiment. Something like that could potentially be deadly.

"Etelka you can come along if you wish," hopefully Mikari would be there by the time they arrived. Unfortunately her discussion with him would have to wait until she fixed the redhead. Some vomiting and a good night's sleep would fix Ruzik right up but Julie couldn't guarantee anything. It would be her fault if he died, she was supposed to give him the medicine and advise him about the dosage but had gotten distracted earlier. If the boy perished it would be on her head and quite frankly Nurse Julie enjoyed her job and did not want to see her position terminated due to such a mistake.

Whether the boy agreed to come or not didn't matter, Julie began taking him to the medical center and thought about her stock of items she could use that would possibly make Ruzik chuck the things he had swallowed. Magic would be a last resort as she needed to save her powers for when the students out on the mission returned in case any of them were severely injured. Of course this was an emergency, but Julie had priorities and if there was something in her cabinets that could make Ruzik vomit she would use it. "Stay with me boy," Julie prompted as they neared the infirmary.

She pushed the door open and figured Ruzik could find a place to sit or lay on his own. Kou was still on her side in the basket, the only difference was that the rabbit's eyes were closed. The nurse frantically ran over to check that the girl was still breathing and breathed her own sigh of relief when she saw the rise and fall of the girl's chest. "Now, what do I have here that tastes so bad you'll have to throw up?" Julie spoke to herself and unlocked the cabinet of medicines and dangerous medical tools she kept on hand. She pulled out bottles, checking names and putting them back or simply dropping them depending on if it was glass or plastic. "Ah ha!" Julie grabbed a glass bottle and a measuring cup, pouring a syrupy green liquid into it and placing the cup in the boy's hand. She brought over a trash can and sat down in her rolling chair, reaching for her stethoscope so she could check his vitals when he was done with the medicine.

Ruzik was about to run off or at least attempt to when feeling his arm being pulled and wrapped over the nurse’s shoulder. He looked to her with a slight frown on his lips, clearly unappreciative of her assistance. However it wasn't like he was in any place to resist and so the incubus went along with it for now, especially when it was made clear that Kou was at the infirmary. If he was planning on getting there then his goal would only be achieved through the nurse aiding him to walk. As they began making their way towards the medical area Ruzik looked about and saw Etelka ahead of the pair a little, which weirdly made him feel slightly relieved. However, the demon-girl wasn't necessarily his friend either, so it wasn't a totally relief per say.

As they arrived at the infirmary the nurse left the two demons and walked over to check on the rabbit that lay in a basket. Almost immediately Ruzik knew it was Kou and wanted to run over to her, but he got the feeling that neither the nurse nor Etelka would allow him to until he coughed up the pills. As the woman wandered over and rummaged around in one of the cupboards Ruzik sat himself down on a nearby bed and waited for her. The incubus didn't wish to anger either of the girls in fear of what they may do, and so in the meantime he simply sat without uttering a single word. Though that didn't stop his gaze obsessively watching over at the rabbit that lay.

"Kou." He sighed, though before his impulsiveness could take over the nurse reappeared with a cup filled with a green liquid of some sort and placed it in his hands. Bringing over a trashcan and placing it next to him the woman then sat nearby, making Ruzik feel a little uncomfortable for a moment as if felt as if everyone was staring at him. Plus, the green stuff in the cup didn't look too tempting either and the incubus knew he had to drink it much to his displeasure - mainly as it would allow for him to go to Kou finally, and nothing else. It was hardly surprising to figure out that he'd suffer it just to get to the rabbit.

Not wishing to drag it out any longer Ruzik prepared himself and took a deep breath, before raising the end of the cup to his lips and forcing the drink down his throat as he swallowed it whole. After a moment he set the cup aside and sat on the bed in brief silence as he allowed the liquid to pass into his stomach and to see what would happen. Luckily it didn't take long for things to take effect as his gut was rapidly becoming unsettled and soon enough the incubus hopped off the bed and dropped to the floor, as he hunched over the trashcan that was near him. An odd colored substance of red and green left his mouth and stained the bin as his insides were up heaved and poured out of the demon. Ruzik evidently was not happy and looked quite unwell as he leaned against the bin for support, a few uncomfortable noises escaping him as he stuck his head down inside of the trashcan. Needless to say it wasn’t pleasant and whatever the nurse had given him was quite vile to say the least! Once he was sure that he was done the redhead sat up and raised his head high, feeling a little lightheaded for a moment though he stubbornly pushed it aside before gradually getting to his feet.

”H-Happy? That was
disgusting.” Wiping his mouth with the end of his sleeve the demon slowly regained his bearings and shot his gaze over towards the rabbit once again. Kou was still in the basket, and without giving another thought for Etelka or the nurse Ruzik hurried over to the bed where the basket was place on. Staggering over ever so slightly he sat his hands onto the bed to support himself upright as the boy peered over at the small creature.

Kou looked dead, that was the first thought to occur in his mind. Despite seeing the normal rhythm of her chest the incubus could not suppress nor ignore the fact that the rabbit was injured and in pain. All because of him as well which only piled on the guilt, as Ruzik cautious placed a hand over and onto the white rabbit to stroke the soft bundle that lay within the basket. ”Kou? Are you alright?” Genuinely he was concerned for the girl and his voice gave that away, perhaps due to his earlier crying and how he could not truly hide his emotions as well as he wished. ”Please wake up, bounce around and hop. Please do
 something.”

Sparing a moment he looked back over towards the nurse and Etelka, giving a rather confused expression as the incubus was a little unsure of himself. Ruzik wasn’t entirely sure of what to do or how to approach Kou, the only thing he knew was that he wanted her to be alright and well as she was before. ”Kou, we’re all here. The nurse, Etelka
and especially me, I’m here for you.” He ran his fingers beneath her belly and stroked the rabbit softly, hoping to comfort her and raise the rabbit’s spirits. ”I shouldn’t have left you but I didn’t want to hurt you anymore, clearly that was wrong. We need to be together Kou, we can’t function without each other. I
need you, I was just being stupid as I always am.” Suddenly he slid his hand around the rabbit and moved his other hand on the opposite side before lifting the small animal up and over against his chest. His heart was beating just a little bit quicker than normal, but the incubus wasn’t feeling a hundred percent after having spilled his guts up earlier thanks to the nurse. His body felt weaker too though that was most likely caused by his tiredness and overworked emotions. ”I-I’m sorry for what I said
I didn’t mean it. You’re not used, you’re mine! It was a hurtful thing to say, everything I said was. I didn’t mean it. I-I was just scared and lashed out at you.”

Plopping down in the chair next to the bed Ruzik made sure he held the rabbit carefully, hoping that somehow Kou would wake up and return to her former self. A few tears welled up in his eyes just at that moment, no matter how hard he tried to suppress them as damp tears began to trail down his face. ”You were right I am a wimp, I can’t handle things and get scared. I do cruel things without thinking to hide it! B-But we can fix that, sort out our problems together. No matter what we’ll always be with each other... as a couple, I swear it.”

Cleo Gardenia

Cleo swept the hair out of her face as a cool breeze blew, her gaze fixed on Muse as the feline watched the other demon fight. A little in awe, Cleo remained standing and observing for a few minutes longer. It wasn’t until an approaching noise distracted her that the cat sprang back into action and resumed her course of actions that was defeating the monsters. ”You alright Muse?” Cleo called whilst running across the ground, giving the horned-girl another quick glance before refocusing her eyes onto the monsters close by.

For a moment however her attention was then placed to the sky, more precisely her old companion who was busy tending to the monsters in the air. There was a moment that Hive looked to be in trouble but Cleo wasn’t too worried, not that there was much she could have done anyway unless they came to the ground. But either way. Hive was back to action before she knew it and a wide smile filled her lips at the sight. Snatching the chance she also gaze about to check on her other peers and their progress.

Baring her fangs she ran towards one of the ogres that was accompanied by three imps, quickly dispatching the smaller monsters with a few kicks and punches, and bites! Wiping her sleeve across her lips Cleo looked up to the bigger monster and assessed its structure, her ears lowering a little when comparing herself to the ogre. Shaking her head Cleo took a breath and regained her confidence, before hurrying to the monster and dodging its oncoming strikes. The monster furiously swung its fists at the cat though with her speed and agility Cleo easily sidestepped the danger and leaped onto the ogre and crawled behind its back. Throwing itself around it clearly was trying to shake her off but Cleo held on strong, keeping her hold on the monster.

As it rose its hand to grab at the feline Cleo was quick to snap back at the beast and sink her fangs into its fist, the ogre letting out a roar of frustration and pain as the cat pierced through its flesh. Retreating its hurt hand the monster swung its other fist at the girl, prompting Cleo to leap into the air and flip round as she soared, before crashing back down and striking the ogre in the back of the head. The impact sent the thing stumbling forward before falling to its knees, and then its face as it dropped to the ground in mild confusion. It wasn’t dead but Cleo couldn’t help but start to feel a bit bad for attacking the monsters – she wasn’t a natural killer and had only recently began to just around the time she had been captured and forced into the academy.

A frown filled her features for a moment, noticing how easy both Hive and Muse made such an act seem. When she didn’t think about it Cleo was capable of murder, but now she wasn’t sure. When casting a gaze at Ichiro to see how he was doing the feline was then reminded of her purpose, she couldn’t let her mage down and for him she’d keep fighting. Yes, that would be what she would do. Grabbing the leg of one of the imps Cleo swung the lifeless body above her head before bringing it down hard against the back of the skull of the ogre. A muffled cry could be heard but that didn’t stop the feline from repeatedly striking the beast. With a heavy breath she continued until a sharp crack was heard, possibly its skull caving in she guessed, which caused the girl to give a sigh of relief.

Nurse Julie was satisfied when she counted three pills in the garbage. She wrapped it up and disposed of the bag, placing a fresh white plastic in the rubbish bin. By the time she was done with that Ruzik had begun to bother the bundle in the basket. It was an utterly heartbreaking thing to watch, here this boy was, confessing his heart out to a sleeping rabbit who was unresponsive. It almost made Julie want to cry, but she kept her emotions in check and approached the two, quickly taking vitals and writing it down on a chart. This was her job, just because there was a scene happening before her that was better than any romance novel did not mean she was on break.

When that was done she stepped back, giving the two space. If something happened Julie would step in, she did not know what Ruzik's intentions were and although they didn't seem bad the boy had a history of acting out. The nurse was worried she was going to have to wrestle the rabbit out of his grip although he was holding her gently and seemed rather sweet in his actions. Still Julie would make sure that he would not suddenly throw the girl across the room in a fit of rage. "Maybe you should put her down Ruzik, she's asleep." Julie suggested gently when there was no response on Kou's part.

"Sleep is the body's defense against pain," and since this wasn't physical pain she could be asleep for a while, but Julie wasn't going to say that. She wanted Ruzik to believe it would just be a short nap and then later the rabbit would be back to her usual self, hopping around like he had said. "Why don't you go to sleep and come back tomorrow to check on her?" If Julie could heal a broken heart she would have done so, but there were only two ways to fix such a thing and one of them was not an option she would implore. Cutting ties. A dangerous method that included one forgetting completely about the person they used to love. It was not a skill light magicians, or nurses for that matter, could use.

Julie was debating on taking Kou from Ruzik's grasp when the rabbit began to stir.

Kou had fallen asleep, there was nothing else to do and she didn't want to go anywhere so sleep was an easy escape. When she awoke it was in Ruzik's arms and the pain stabbed through her chest all over again. She loved Ruzik to death but every time she tried to make him happy he ended up hurting her. Kou wasn't mad she was just... Tired. Just thinking about it made her want to fall asleep. Something wet touched her, then again, dripping onto her nose and absorbing into her fur. The rabbit tilted her head up tiredly to look at Ruzik who was the source for the wetness.

Tears: they streaked down his face and splattered onto her. She wiggled in his arms, attempting to get out of the way as the tear drops were making her cold. Why was he crying? He was the one who called it off again, he was the one who called her names and trapped her in the dorm room. The heartache was only growing worse as she hated seeing Ruzik in pain. If Kou could communicate she would have said that she wasn't going to take it anymore, but that would be a lie. He was right, as much as they hurt each other, they needed one another. How could she tell him this though? Kou didn't have the ability of heart chat so she couldn't tell what Ruzik was feeling, although on the outside he seemed torn apart. I love you, the rabbit thought, wanting to wipe away his tears. It was just breaking Kou's heart more and the pain was becoming too much for her tiny body to handle. If only she knew how to turn human, then she could tell him and they could make up.

What if she stayed a rabbit for ever?! The thought was too much. What if this was Tsu's way of punishing Kou? She didn't know what she did, but he was the only one she knew of that had the ability to turn her back.

Ruzik didn’t like to listen to the nurse as she suggested that the incubus went to sleep and visited tomorrow, for all he knew something else could have happened to Kou and then what would he do? Shaking his head he held the small animal as gently as he could as the rabbit wiggled in his arms. ”Oh, sorry.” He mumbled whilst drying his eyes with his sleeve, clearly realizing it was bothering the rabbit.

As he looked down at Kou the incubus couldn’t help but feel useless and frustrated, the girl that he loved was in pain and the demon could do nothing to help. Right now, the demon just wanted to snatch the rabbit up and keep her in his arms for as long as he could, though Ruzik got the feeling that doing so would prove troubling. ”But she’s my rabbit, why can’t she stay with me? I can’t just leave her
again.” Frowning the redhead held onto the rabbit more tightly, visibly not wishing to let his beloved go so easily. What if Kou didn’t change back? Was the transformation permanent? A look of concern filled his features as the boy looked down at the little bundle in his arms. However, when not wishing to cause the rabbit any further distress, Ruzik forced a smile down at her before lifting the animal up to meet his face. Nuzzling her a little he whispered, ”I still love you, even as a rabbit. We’re together forever and I won’t let anything ruin that, not even myself, not again. I’m just sorry that I did this to you.”

Forcing himself out of the chair the demon stepped beside the bed and slowly lay the rabbit down inside of the basket, ensuring she was comfortable and giving her a few gentle strokes as he ran his fingers through her snowy fur. ”I don’t want to leave you here but I guess they’re not going to allow me to take you, but that doesn’t mean I won’t visit you every day, every hour! I’ll even bring carrots!” Clearly he was trying to at least make the best of their situation, or perhaps he just couldn’t face the fact that Kou may be forever a rabbit. Either way his love for her would not end over some small fact, but he would do all that he could and at any risk to try and get the Kou he knew back. ”You should rest now and save your energy, and I’ll come and see you tomorrow as soon as I can.”

Leaning down he kissed the top of the rabbits head before straightening himself upright, sparing a moment to look at the small animal once more before forcing himself to walk away. He didn’t want to, but he had to for now as the incubus approached the nurse and gave the woman a displeased frown. Baring his teeth he snapped at her, ”You better look after her! She’s worth a hundred of your patients so you bloody well better take good care of my rabbit!” Taking a moment to calm himself Ruzik realized that this was not the way to go about things, especially as Kou was all that truly mattered, not his childish temper. ”She’s all that I have, I can’t live without her! S-So I trust y-you to watch over her while I-I’m gone.”

With his voice giving out the demon hurried over to Etelka at that moment and clung to her arm, seeming about ready to leave the infirmary until Ruzik glanced back to the rabbit once again. He truly did not want to leave her despite what little he could do to help, but the incubus was nothing but stubborn after all. ”W-Wait, what if I stayed here? I-I could watch Kou!” His face had lit up at that point with a brief ounce of contentment, before slowly fading just as quickly. Ruzik didn’t know what to do, whether to stay or go. He felt as if he was betraying Kou if he did leave, but then maybe he was furthering her pain by staying? Feeling unsure of himself he looked to the nurse and then to Etelka, as if seeking guidance. Admittedly he was quite tired, so maybe rest would do him some good. But he was so obsessed with his rabbit that his own needs weren't his priority.

Etelka stood across the room in silence with her eyes closed as Ruzik was forced to intake some sort of fluid. From the noises alone she could discern while unpleasant it most certainly fulfilled its goals. The incubus spoke to the rabbit going on and on about things the girl cared little about. The words annoyed and satisfied Etelka, she was glad he accepted his wrongdoings and his weakness, but generally lovey talking annoyed her. Her reason for bringing the incubus to the rabbit was fulfilled and she felt little reason to stay, but also felt suddenly leaving would be inappropriate.

Apparently the rabbit stirred and reinvigorated more speaking from the incubus, Etelka was hoping he would accept the doctor’s words and leave the place. How much affection Ruzik was spurting to a literally rabbit was making her wish to depart even more, he wanted to come back here every day, which was good to keep him humbled. Finally the demon was ready to depart, the girl opening her eyes and waiting to exit with him. The shark snapped at the mage and if Etelka were closer she would have smacked him that moment for being so suddenly irritable, however he quickly calmed himself and gave her a more well-formed and polite request.

He made his way over and clung to her arm, glancing back over to the rabbit, he very much wanted to stay in the infirmary all night. She however more preferred the idea of making him sleep alone, it seemed like this was one of few times he was being forced to deal with the repercussions of his actions for more than a short while. Kou truly was too forgiving to ever change this demon, if he never faced consequences both would be stuck in a spiral of barking hurtful words and actions at each other before immediately forgiving one another. As Etelka saw it the only reason this time was different was because herself and whatever 'god' that gave the rabbit her form intervened.

Since he was clinging to her arm it was easier than normal to simply tug him along toward the exit, however she clearly struggled with movement with such a large weight on her. "Come demon, this is a place for the ill to rest and you are only desperate. Unless you want me to gravely injure you, you shall sleep in your own bed this night." Etelka continued to make her way out of the infirmary with her kin alongside her. Normally she would have curtsied to the mage, but given her current state she merely bowed her head as they made their way out. "I am satisfied with your apology to Miss Kou, now let us be off to your dormitory so I may return to mine. I am sure we are both tired." In reality she was only tired of dealing with him and his emotions, she would likely stay awake until the master returned.
