20 years ago, there was a young man and his fiancee. The man owned a toy shop and made toys for all the kids in town. They seemed the be the perfect, happy and cheerful couple. But the man started acting weird. He felt that his fiancee wanted to just marry him, so that she could get rid of him and have the toy shop for herself. So one night while she was sleeping the man lit their house on fire. He could hear her screaming inside the house and she burned to ash. Now 20 years later, he somehow regrets that his killed the only woman he loved because of paranoia. A couple of kids in the town of Dervain stumble across his shop and although stubborn and a bit grumpy, the man becomes friends with the kids. Later a new toy shop is opened across the street which is run by a creepy young woman who might know that the house fire 20 years ago wasnt an accident. Will the man be found out or will he live on and maybe find a new love.

Dervain: Dervain is a nice small town with suburban traits. The population is about 20000 and the residencies surround a town center with restaurants, shops, recreational facilities and the town hall. There are two high schools, a community college, a large middle school and two elementary schools.
