Introduction

Thez invaders from across the great ocean have reached the peaceful land of Imahina and are bent on taking over. The seven tribes, who have never given thought to war, have to learn quickly how to fight. Thier bows and arrowa stand little chance against the outsiders' guns, but they have a backup plan. Each tribe has a specific species of guide creatures, and together they might stand a chance.

The seven tribes are as follows:

The Kiri and their griffin companions protect the skies with their brute strength. They aren't the brightest of people, but their guides keep them from doing anything stupid and they are still a force to be reconned with.

The Dhamos guard the desert and are masters of survival. They can easily adapt to new environments with their drakes' help. They are also known to throw amazing parties.

The Ortecs are mysterious and strange, having never left the thick forests in the south in all of recorded history. They know every poison known to man and are avoided most of the time out of fear of their basilisk.

The Winnos are shy, plains dwelling people who are very close to nature and their unicorn guides. They are said to be very attracive people but also very modest. They cook delicious food and marriages between Winnos and Dhamos are famous for being the best celebrations in the country.

Skarés are masterful in anything related to fire, and they have the safeguard of the ocean if someone manages to set the coastal plains ablaze. Their pheonix are the perfect companions. They are hot headed just like their element.

Cugos are sought out for their planning and strategic abilities, and the speed their pegusi can fly. The nomads act as not only the messengers if the land, but also architects, mediators, and lawyers.

Xeniks, the impish pranksters, are just like their fairy friends. However, they are very understanding and make great friends. They also dabble in magic and use it to set elaborate traps. They weave the finest cloth in the known world and it is coveted by all.
