Ashley Lake -
"AH!" I woke up in a cold sweat, screaming my head off and clutching my pillow like it was my life. I started to calm down a bit, hoping I hadn't waken my brother. I looked at my clock. "4:00 am...ugh!" I slammed my pillow against my face and collapsed back on my bed. I'm never going back to sleep. I thought to myself before I rose from my bed. I went towards the bathroom down the hall, the clothes I was planning to wear today in my hands.

I locked the bathroom door and turned on the shower before I slipped off my big t-shirt and threw it on the floor. Jumping in the shower I quietly sang to myself. "And you know, you know, that I love you. And you go, ohh, ohh. And you go, ohh, oh-" I smile and remind myself to write that down in my notebook. I always had random lyrics and quotes in my head, but never did I actually write anything down. Mostly I played by ear. I jumped out of the shower and dried off before slipping on my clothes.



I opened up the small little closet I kept all my stuff in and grabbed my mascara and eyeliner before putting it on and slipping it into my clutch.

I ran downstairs and grabbed a [green] monster from the fridge. I walk outside, killing the drink within minutes before I crush it and throw it to the side. Continuing to watch I change into a wolfe. Actually, you may think it looks easy to do this, but it's rather painful. All your bones break and replace themselves as a wolfe's would be. I keep in stride for a few steps, entering the woods before I start to jog. I can guess by the sun it's about 5 am now. It was still pretty foggy outside, and the ground was wet with dew. For about an hour and a half I just ran around the woods, ate a squirrel too, it was rather bitter. Finally I started jogging towards my school.

About ten minutes later I was coming out of the woods as a wolfe. Most people gave my weird looks before seeing my eyes and understanding I was there completely normal[weird] classmate. I kept moving as I switched back into a human and walked into the school. I glance over at the mistakes, wondering why exactly people were bothered by them, and continued moving. I stopped short when I saw the exploded water fountain, before snickering as a teacher slipped and fell on some of the water. I moved over to the puddle and opened my clenched fist, concentrating on anger and heat. I began to slowly close my hand into a fist. I opened my eyes and the water was dried up. All better. I thought before moving over to my locker. I grabbed my notebook out and then sat down in front of it, drawing a random classmate walking by. I quietly sang "Knives and Pens" by Black Veil Brides to myself.

Ashley -
She watched the kid almost get run over, almost laughing but managing to keep a straight face. A few minutes later I see the kid eating a rice cake. I smile and start to sketch. It's a picture of the one kid, the one that got in the way, diving to the right and we see his back. And the skateboarder, falling off his board and to the right, facing us. I smile with the final product and I pull the sketch out the book, jogging over to them. "I made something. You can fight over who get's it." I say, smiling as I show them the picture. It's actually pretty good, not my best work. I think to myself. "I'm Ashley, by the way." I say, hoping that I might finally get a friend, or two, at this god forsaken school.

"Hot?" She took the picture and looked at it, then at him. "Yea, I can see that." I say, smiling as I actually look at him. He was cute, actually to think about it he was rather good looking. I shake my head and laugh lightly, watching everyone before my gaze settles on Nia. "A-are you okay?" I ask, not exactly sure how to be sympathetic towards the crying girl. But I didn't want to stand there like a douche watching her. My gaze falls back on the other guy, I think Darren. He was good looking too, but I kept going back to Crow. Again I shook my head and handed him back the drawing.

Ashley -
I follow after Crow. And as soon as I walk in the classroom I notice one of the guys in there. It was a guy I dated in my last year of tenth grade[i got held back]. He was bad, like seriously a major asshole. He had fire and wind powers. He could spontaneously combust into a flaming freak. And at the same time make a tornado happen in the room. I grimaced and waited to see what they would do. Immediatly my ex starting moving towards me quickly. Suddenly I was lifted into the air and was extremely hot. I started to struggle as my breath was being taken away. I tried to be calm and focus on him. I slowly, painfully raise my hand into the air, spreading it out wide as I concentrated on the water running in the pipes underneath us. Suddenly I was soak 'n' wet and so was my ex. I had flung water at him hard enough to make him fall back, and I drenched myself in the process. I smiled. "Anyone else?"

Ashley -
I quickly went up to whatshisface and opened my hand, slowly closing it and the wind began to pick up around him. "I can make it a whole hellofa lot worse buddy. Leave him alone and apologize to you sister." I say, motioning to Crow. It's my turn to help you, kinda. I think to myself, continuing to let the wind pick up and throw papers and whatever it can find up and everywhere. I smile to myself knowing that this year might not actually be as bad as I thought it would turn out to be. If only my brother showed up to school sometimes.

"I can do this too." I say, transforming into the wolf[1] and letting out a small growl before turning back into a human and smiling at him. "I'm Ashley." I say, grabbing his outstretched hand and shaking it before I re-position it at my side. "Nice to meet you too." I say quickly, not wanting to sound rude or anything. I walk over to Crow and lean down. "Are you okay? I'm super sorry! Second time I've been, somewhat, a reason you got hurt." I concentrate on my other power and turn a small rag I saw, that was soaked, to ice[but like, it's still soft like the rag, I don't want to make it hurt his face more] and try and hand it to Crow to put on his nose/face whatever was possibly hurt.

Suddenly it was like she couldn't hear anything but Crow's voice, see nothing but Crow's face. She shook her head, trying to concentrate but couldn't seem to get a grasp on reality. "Your skin is very soft." I hear as I stare into Crow's eyes. I tried to move around under Darren so I could get my face closer to Crows'. "T-thank you." I say, very, very quietly as if I'm in a trans-like state. I shake my head hard and finally re-gain my thoughts. "Kay, Crow, yea your adorable and kinda hot but you should go after Nia." I say, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek and shoo-ing him off the get Nia, hoping he'd go so I could talk to Darren. Thinking of Darren... I looked back up at him, hoping Crow'd already walked out of the room. "Not really." I say, smirking.

I leaned into Darren, expecting him to kiss me when he just lightly kissed my cheek and stepped back. His hand was pulled from mind and I barely registered his words. I shook my head and glared him at, playfully of course. "Let's go in the woods." I say quietly, grabbing his hand again and pulling him towards the woods, which was barely a minute from my house. I continued to walk for about five minutes before turning around and facing him. I had led him into a clearing I always came to when I needed to think. "This is one of my favorite places to come." I say quickly, blushing. "It's also where I practice my powers...which is why there's a very, very big hole in the ground over there." I say, smiling, even though I know my cheeks were a very rosy red.

I met Darren's lip's with a force of my own as I wrapped my hand around his neck and tangled my other hand in his hair. "I'm always with you." I murmur against his lips, referring to his "Well I think that we should..." As soon as I heard Crow's voice I smiled against Darren's lips, pulling back slightly, stilling holding onto him. "Hi to you too, Crow." I say, still smiling. "And hi Nia." I add, waving to her. I'm breathing heavily and I attempt to get my breathing under control, laughing lightly I glance up at Darren.

Ashley -
"I'll be sure that we can." I tell him, smirking. I moved forward a few steps so I was closer to Nia and Crow, and sat down cross legged, attempting to pull Darren with me. I liked his arm around me, but I wanted to sit down after so much happening today. I grab a flower out of the ground and pluck all the petals off, imitating Crow. After the wind blows they all flew away so I grabbed another and repeated the process. They were still floating a bit on the wind so I asked Wind to come to me. I manipulated the flower petals in the wind so the spelled out something in the air. It was facing towards Darren and I. It said "Date?" and I looked up at Darren, raising my eyebrows and waiting for an answer.

Ashley -
I let Darren pull me back and I laid my head on his chest, sighing. "You could just come over my house tonight, and I'll make dinner or something." I say, knowing in my head that I wouldn't make dinner. I'd order a pizza or something. I burn everything I make, even water. I laugh at the thought before hurriedly shutting up. I wrapped my arm around his torso and pulled myself closer to him. "Everything just feels so...right." I say to myself, loud enough for everyone to hear if they were listening. I wish I was normal... I thought to myself.

Ashley -
I walked along side Darren and didn't hesitate when he took my hand, leading me up to his room. Well, I guess that's where I supposed he was taking me. After getting up the stairs and walking down the hall a little bit he turned back to me. I opened my mouth to say something but I was pulled off my feet by Darren as he waked into his room. I looked around his room once, expecting to see a normal boys room. Messy, stuff everywhere, video games on the floor or wherever and was somewhat shocked to see his room was rather..clean. I was laid down on the bed and I looked up to see what Darren was doing before I felt him land beside me. "Your room is rather clean." I muse, my eyes finding his face again. I moved over closer to Darren. "I can't complain" I say to answer his question. "-what about you?"

[ gotta go to school soon, get out at 3 pm(ET) ]

"Well i'm not perfect. I'm just me." Darren said as he turned his head to get a better look at her. "So I don't feel like sleeping in my street clothes so give me one second." He kissed her ever so lightly on the lips. He turned his body and got up. He went over to his highly organized closet and pulled out an article of clothing. "Be back in a jiffy." He smiled at her and left the room and went to his bathroom. When he came back he opened the door a little slower and came back in. He was wearing just a black pair of shorts. He laughed softly "Sorry but this is what I sleep in." Darren climbed back into his bed and scooted closer to her until he was where he was when he left. "Well I feel really comfortable now." He then pressed his forehead against hers.

As Darren disappears I amuse myself by repeatedly singing a certain phrase over and over in many different tones.

I hear a door open, and then footsteps and I expect that Darren is coming back. I currently have my fingertips touching as I was just messing around and making funny shadows on the wall with my hands. The door open's slowly and Darren steps in with a pair of shorts on. My eyes rise to his chest and realize it's practically bare. Well actually it is bare because all he has on is the shorts. I suck in a breath. "Wow." I mutter to myself, shaking my head and laughing at myself. I wait until he comes over to me and lays back down. His forehead is against mine and I move forward to give a a quick kiss on the cheek before getting up myself. "My turn to change, one sec." I concentrated on the wind outside his house and requested it kindly transport me back to my house. I opened my eyes and was their. I heard snoring down the hall and figured it was Damien and I wouldn't bother him. I changed and re-appeared in Darren's room a minute or two later. I did a quick twirl before jumping into the bed next to him. I had on a long, white v-neck and black booty shorts. The shirt went past my shorts. I smiled at him. "And now I'm comfy too." I say, smilling up at him. I rested my head on his chest and yawned all bigly and laughed a little as I looked back up at Darren. "Hai." I say quietly, not sure of what to say.

"Well heya there." He said smiling. " You know I could get use to this." He moved his hand and touched her cheek and started to rub it. "Your eyes are really beautiful, and blue very blue." He tried to slow his breathing but that really didn't work. He couldn't help but just look at her. "How in the world did I get you?" He set his head back down. He started to squirm a bit. He then pulled Ashley up closer to him, and wrapped his arms around her. "This feels good. Unless you want to go back to lying on my chest." he smiled as he watched her. 'She was cute when she yawned.' he thought. He then grabbed the blanket at the foot of the bed with his foot and throw it as best as he could. With his free arm he pulled the blanket to cover them. "Now we can be really warm." he said and then gave her a bigger kiss. "So what do you want to do tomorrow then?"

He was getting goose bumps as she ran her finger over his chest. "Hmm, why don't we go to your place tomorrow morning. I'll make breakfast for you and your brother, you know gotta have him like me. Then I or both of us can go to school even if we are a little late." He said as he grabbed her hand. "And why are you the lucky one. I say we are both lucky." He began to rub her hand with his thumb. "Its cute, I hardly talk when i'm nervous and you talk for me and you when your nervous." He held her tighter "Well I am glad you tried to pants me then." He was just lying there listening to her breath for a moment. "Well at least we are dressed for sleep now." He stopped holding her hand and placed it on her leg. He started to move his hand up. When he reached her shorts he skipped over them and placed his hand under her shirt and rubbed her stomach a little. When he started to think clearly he pulled his hand back. "Sorry, I don't know what came over me." he shook his head a little. "Wow that was... odd for me to do." He then started to hold her hand again.

"I would never regret meeting you. Like I said before you are the best thing that has happened to me in a long time." He then looked her in the eyes and let out his breath really slow. 'Her legs were really soft.' this thought was just running free around his head. "I'm glad that he'll like me but i'm not like that. I'm yours for as long as you want me." He then pulled her as close as he could possibly get her. "Okay so i'll note that you like to have your wrists grabbed." Darren then laughed at what he thought. "So if I even pin you down you might enjoy it a lot." He then winked at her playfully. "And what you said I don't think it's stupid. It sounds like a normal thing to me. I don't want to talk so you'll force me to talk. That sounds stupid." He then placed he nose against hers. He really didn't care what was going to happen he just loved what was going on right now, he then asked. "Do you regret meeting me?"

He let in a sharp breath. "Hmm, where to start then. I try not to hide anything but hmm." He liked the feeling of her hands running through his hair. "My secret i'm not really sure what you want to hear." They were close and he could feel her breathing. "I learned to skateboard because it's the one thing my brother can't do. I try really hard to be different and sometimes I don't know who I am." He then looked at her. "I really like you running your hands through my hair, and when you trace some of the muscles on my chest. My hands are occupied so." He leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek. "If you want more of that you'll have to work for it." He mused trying to be funny. He then smiled and said "You make me feel..." he never really finished that sentence he just continued to smile.

I nod sympathetically at Darren. "I know how you feel, kinda. I'm sorry that you feel like you live in your brothers shadow but to me, well god your better than anything, anyone. Your nice, and your smart at least I assume, and strong again assuming, but your great and I couldn't imagine ever being without you. Gosh, your gonna get along with Damien." I say, half to myself and half to him. Then she hears what else he has to say and she smirks. "Like this?" I say in a teasing way and I ever so lightly drag my fingertip across the planes and muscles of his chest. I bite my lip, somewhat nervous. My other hand is still running through his hair which I hardly had noticed before now. I felt his lips on my cheek and I frowned as he said id have to 'work' for it. I bit my lip again and continued with what I was doing before, moving close to him like I was going to kiss him. I wrapped one of my legs up around his waist. Just as my lips brushed against his I pulled back, smirking at him all while trying to keep that 'Im completely innocent' look.

"If you like to tease we can find something for you to do." He smiled at her knowing this was either really good or really bad. "I guess you win this round." He said then he yawned. "Wow I guess imma little tired." Darren then removed his hand from the lower back of Ashley and stretched a little. "Mmmh. You know its hard to play innocent when your leg is around my waist." He pointed out as a small fact. "And I am smart my I.Q. is really high. Strong mehish at best." He then grabbed her wrist and then interlaced her fingers. "Since you won." he leaned forward and kissed her for a while. "So anything else you'd like to know about me or what?" He just kinda stayed still until she spoke again.

"Hmm. I never really thought about it I guess." He said as he held her just a little but tighter. He kinda smirked "If I had to say i'll go with dogs. I've always wanted a dog but my brother is allergic so i'd have to be that. Don't you dare turn into a dog right now." He kinda laughed at that. he just held her for a little while feeling her breath. He reached over a little further so he could hold her hand. This is the best that Darren has ever felt. 'Well she'd better not become a dog otherwise she gets just a pillow.' He thought. "Well you should fall asleep and i'll just follow you into your dream." He smiled even though he knew she couldn't see it. He then kissed the back of her head. "Don't worry i'll be here when you wake up, I promise."

[ My nap, yea that failed, I fell asleep. :| ]
"I wasn't going to turn into a dog!" I say, laughing a little before I was interrupted by another yawn. It was getting harder to keep my eyes open. "At least not right this moment..." I whisper mostly to myself, but making sure it was loud enough for him to hear if he was listening. I felt him grab my hand and I smiled this big smile, even though no one could see it since I'd hidden my face in a pillow. "You promise?" I felt better knowing that he wouldn't spontanaously combust in the middle of the night. Even if that was rather uncommon, heh. "Well then I trust you." I say a little quieter, not wanting to be keeping him up if by chance he was trying to fall asleep right this moment. "Perfect." I mumbled to myself before falling asleep. Believe it or not, but that night Darren was in my dreams.

Darren listened to her talk it was a little funny when she said dog then yawned. It was cute to him. 'If you turn into a dog you will still get a pillow.' he thought after she said at this moment. Even though she was asleep he gave her a hug and said "I promise." He was just lying there for a little while listening to her breath. When her breathing became normal and regular he decided that she had fallen asleep. She had said something before she went to sleep but he didn't really care. With his arms around her he was ready for some sleep. He adjusted himself a little and when he was in the perfect position he fell asleep almost instantly. With Ashley in his arms his last thought was 'Today was a good day.' before falling asleep.

[Yay! Good-ish timing! lol I magickally make it morning now, hm?]

I woke up almost the exact same way I'd fallen asleep, except sometime in the middle of the night I'd turned around was now facing Darren's chest. I looked up at him sleeping and got an idea. I began to trace the muscles on his chest again, smiling to myself and moving upwards a little, so my face was closer to his. "Darren?" I whisper, trying to get him to wake up. I reached down and poked his stomach before continuing tracing his chest. I looked around his room quickly to see if I could find a clock, but I thought I'd felt Darren move so I brought my gaze back to him. "Darren mister, are you awake?" I ask him really quietly.
