OOC Notes
"Kill him."
It was just an order. October nodded and unfurled her wings. Seconds later she was racing forward; then with a leap she dove down through the floor. Her wings folded over her back to protect themselves against the sharp wind. After minutes of lurching and twisting she landed on the soft ground of Earth. It had changed much since the last time she remembered it. It was cold and the color seemed a less appealing shade. With a snap of her fingers she was a human girl, her appearence and clothing changing. Now, just to find Austin.

Austin sighed, and ran his tongue over his fangs. They were elongated, indicating his intense thirst. He had hoped to hold out longer, but he was still the most active of the vampires in existence.
He looked up at the sign of the establishment he was going into, knowing full well it was a gay bar. He wouldn't hurt a woman unless he was crazed, so his only choice was to consume men.
Quickly enough, he 'befriended' a man named Shane. Shane was clearly into him, and then Austin made his move. "Hey, Shane... Let's go outside." Austin's fangs were insanely long, pushing about two inches out of his gums. As soon as they got outside, Austin sank his fangs into Shane's neck and drank his gushing blood deeply.
He left the body there after cutting an "A" into Shane's hand in Old English 5 font. "I'm sorry, Shane. You were a decent man."

October was watching from from a roof when it happened. She felt the hairs on the back of her neck prickle and she couldn't help but understand why she was sent here. After a few more moments of sitting back she pushed herself to jump off the roof and approach. Hopefully he would see her as an innocent human girl, which was exactly what she looked, and most likely, smelled like.
She could feel multiple gazes on her as she made her way over to him. The angel looked over as a tall man suddenly grabbed her shoulders. Without even caring that she was human he slammed her against the wall, licking his lips carelessly.
"You sure smell good, hunny," he murmured, sniffing her neck.
"Get away, freak," she hissed.

Austin looked over casually, as he wiped the blood from his lips, only to see Gregory push a human girl against a wall. He purposefully strode over, and he said quietly, "Gregory, don't do it. You know what I'd do to you." He put his hand on the other, newer vampire's shoulder and squeezed, breaking it easily. He kicked Gregory aside, and he turned to the girl.
"Excuse him; he's got no sense. I'm Austin Rayne. Who are you? Are you okay?" He raked his eyes over her, seeing no injury and smelling no blood. He groaned inwardly and realized that she'd probably scream her head off. Vampires didn't ususally do this.

All she could do was watch as Austin desposed of Gregory. She blinked, looking at his squirming figure as he fought to stand, then turned her attention towards the vampire before her. October's face remained impassive, though she was rather surprised. Why was he acting like this? He was a vampire, wasn't he? He should be going mad over her blood, which tasted and smelled much sweeter than human blood. She looked him over before grabbing the front of his shirt and pulling him close. "You should really come with me," she murmured and began pulling him around the corner.
"Dammit, Austin, give her back!" Gregory yelled and reeled towards her.
In a sudden flash of movement October turned and punched him in the face, hearing the satisfying noise of a broken noise. As if it was nothing she turned and continued, pulling Austin along with her.

He retracted his fangs, smiling as the girl pulled him away, and stuck out his tongue at the injured Gregory. Austin's hazel eyes showed curiosity and he said, "Where the hell are we going? You're not going to ask me to bite you, right? I won't do it."
Austin liked this girl- strong and feisty. He didn't feel any desire to consume her blood, but more to devour her figure with his eyes.
"Wait, what was your name?" Austin said as he was pulled along by the mysterious girl. His hair was in his eyes, and his hoodie was rumpled. He wanted to stop, but the girl kept pulling him along... Suddenly, with a start, he realized, "You're not even human, are you?"

"You sure talk alot," October mused, a grin in her eyes though her lips remained in a tight line. "No, I'm not going to ask you to bite me, where would that get me?" She continued along, only stopping when she reached a large and dark abandoned building. She pushed him infront of her before closing the door behind them. The darkness swallowed them like prey. "Alright, Austin, I might as well tell you." The angel snapped her fingers and a bright light resinated from her index finger. "No, I'm not human, far from it. And I'll tell you, Earth has changed since I was alive. I'm an angel sent by God," she said, the amusement dropping from her gaze. "And I am here to kill you."
OOC Notes
Austin's eyes widened and he said, "What?! Why?!" He could believe this- he was acknowledged by God, and God wanted him dead? This was all too much for his vampiric brain...
He wanted to be left alone, but he didn't want to drink blood either. Damn, life sure was complicated nowadays, wasn't it?

"Orders are orders, Austin," October replied. Though she looked completely sure of this there was doubt in her eyes. "Why don't you try to bite me before I kill you?" she asked with a frown, slowly walking around him. Her dark hair created shadows over her eyes as she stopped to stand only half a foot infront of him. "What is stopping you, vampire?" Her amber eyes flashed as she looked up at him and she smiled, showing what any fool would ahve thought were two sharp fangs. She almost resembled a vampire, in a way.
OOC Notes
"I don't like blood. I only drink blood to live." Austin turned his head away from October and continued, "And I have a heart. I hate seeing people die because that might have been me, had the person who bit me drank just a little more of my bllod."
He tilted his head in such a way that his hair fell over his eyes and he said, "If you're going to kill me, then just do it. Spare me the suffering of life as a leech."

OOC Notes
Despite being an angel, a fighter who killed those who desearved to die, a being that once used to be a lying rebel, October flinched. She stared up at him and blinked as she chewed on her tongue. Anyone could have seen the confusion on her face. "What... you're a vampire, of course you like blood!" Two almost unseeable, but clearly there, wings stretched from her back and a thin wire ran around her head in a royal crown. "I'm not here to kill someone who wants to be killed."
OOC Notes
"I'm as serious as I get- I. Hate. Blood. It tastes like rust and salt, and I hate the taste of it. Not all vampires like blood." A letter was pushed through the crack under the door, and it hit Austin's sneakers.
He bent and picked it up, then saw that it was a summons to the vampire king's court. He froze, and said, through gritted teeth, "I need to go now- i'm sorry. You can kill me later, but I have a court summons to attend now." Austin bid October adieu, and then left for the court of the vampire king.

October watched him with a mixture of confusion and almost amusement. "B..Be careful!" She called after him, studdering slightly. With an eyebrow raised she scratched her head and stood stuck to the spot.
The king looked at his attendents, his lips forming a tight and unhappy line. "Did you tell him to hurry?" he asked impatiently, his eyes flashing angrily. "I don't like to wait!"
"Sir, he is on his way," a female vampire replied quietly, bending down before him in a rushed bow.
He stared at her for a couple moments before reaching down and gently bringing her upright. His fingers trailed harmlessly across her cheeks and he smiled. Then suddenly he bent forward and bit her neck roughly, sucking out as much blood as he could in one gulp.
