OOC Notes
Alex looked around nervously. He noticed that the house looked rather nice for being in the city. Maybe I should see if my mom wants to move into the city, especially if we can find a house like this. But then again I rather enjoy living in a more... Open area. Living here would drive me crazy. Maybe I shouldn't. He was scared of being locked into or stuck in a single place, and living in a cramped area would basically make it so he couldn't function. He drove the thoughts from his head about moving to the city and paid attention to the woman at the door.
Alex could tell she was examining him, and was probably about to give him "the interrogation," in other words, finding out everything there is to know about a boy who wants to take her relative out. He began zoning back into reality from his thoughts and listened as the woman asked "Oh, you have the right place. Calli never told me she was expecting anyone. How do you know my niece?"
How to explain that he doesn't really know Calli, he only really knows Calli from passing her in school. Next time I'm just going to plan this all ahead. Especially my conversations. What am I gonna say? Ugh, why does she want to know? "Oh. Well Calli wouldn't have told you because this is kind of spontaneous and... Well... I didn't want to go to the movies by myself and then I remembered Calli, and was like 'I kind of know her from school, might as well see if she wants to go.' Then I ended up here. You have a really nice house, but that's kind of off topic..."
Alex couldn't stop his mouth it was just rambling off on tangents while his mind was behind on trying to figure out how to explain everything. Finally he stopped with, "Sorry about the whole spontaneous late night calling thing. I think Calli is pretty. Can I take her to the movies?" Then he smacked his hand into his face. Wow... How stupid am I? Letting something like, 'she's pretty so can I take her out' come out of my mouth.
He looked around and saw something green in the window. Great. She's watching. I need a mouth to mind connector and filter. Seriously, need to stop running my mouth randomly. His face flushed, he was embarrassed. Alex looked at the woman in the doorway, nodded slightly and began to turn away to go back to his car. Totally just ruined my chances of getting to go out with someone tonight.
