Tasha is not your classically doll-like, delicate woman. Though it can not be said that she is ugly in any way, and she is of a tall and slender build, her body is lined with muscle. Her skin is darkly tanned from all the work she did outside. Everything about her seems sharply cut – there is nothing soft to Tasha’s body, and she has every intention of keeping it that way. This is not to say that there is nothing feminine about her. She has the basic, natural curves that any woman would have – they are just hardened by the hard work she put into being strong.
Her face seems somewhat exotic in shape, with high, sloping cheekbones and a fiercely narrow nose. Her lips are not large or pouty, they are straight and of an average thickness and generally curved into a jovial smile. Her eyes are large and pale blue, framed by lashes that are thick without the aid of mascara. She wears no make-up, and indeed has never worn any. She finds it disdainful for a woman to cover up her natural beauty. Her hair is a dark, honeyed blonde, almost brown, waving gently down, just beneath her shoulder-blades. She keeps it tied up so it stays out of the way. She wears no jewellery, and only the simplest of clothing – a tank top and cargo pants, when she was not in uniform.
Personality: Tasha holds other people high above herself, at all times. She keeps standards for herself that some would say are utterly impossible, but somehow she manages it. Letting someone down is the worst nightmare for her, and she has never in her life broken a promise, at least not that she can remember. Strength and loyalty are the most important things in the world to her – she keeps herself in prime physical condition at all times specifically so that she can protect the people around her. She has always been willing to use her own body as a shield for others, both physically and emotionally.
Her protectiveness of others is not always a good thing – it can, and has, lead to problems for her many times before. She is not as careful with herself as she is with other people. When she was a child, Tasha would often make herself sick worrying about others rather than herself. Her grades suffered not because she was unintelligent, but because she spent all of her time tutoring other students, and had no time left for her own homework. She was a very wilful child, and that which she believed was right, she did, no matter what hare parents told her. She did not react well – and still does not – to being told what to do, especially if it went against her own ideals. She has a very clear sense of what is right and what is wrong, and it is virtually impossible to tell her otherwise.
Underneath all that bristling protectiveness and obsession with her own strength, Tasha has always been a very friendly person. She smiles almost constantly, and makes friends quickly, with ease. Everyone seems to like her, even the people that she doesn’t particularly like. She believes in giving everyone a chance – at least one chance. That doesn’t mean that she isn’t going to decide she doesn’t like you, it just means that she’ll have a reason why she doesn’t like you beyond your very first impression. She is constantly laughing, always trying to raise others’ spirits. Keeping up the group’s morale is a job she has taken upon herself, for the sake of the unit. She looks at her companions as a sort of new family, a wolf pack, in a way. They are together now, and she will fight to defend any one of them.

History: Tasha was the middle child in a Massachusetts family with five children – she was also the only girl. Her mother packed up and left when she was three years old, so she grew up completely surrounded by men. Her father, Hank, and her older brothers Louis and Davis did their best to keep her safe and strong, but there was no need for it. By the time she was six Tasha was already begging to be enrolled in a martial arts class, and in the end she became the role-model for her younger brothers Tim and James, instead of her older brothers. From elementary school to high-school she was the tough-girl on the block, whom everyone was either afraid of or very close to.
Beginning early in her middle school career, her father started taking all of the siblings camping. Tasha took to it immediately – she learned everything she could about surviving in the forest, and often wandered off into the woods for the weekend – leaving a note for her father, of course. She never killed animals, but she made a fire and cooked on it, and built shelters for herself. She enjoyed being outside, in what she thought of at the time as wilderness.
She entered college, and little about her life changed. Same small town, just as loved, everyone knew her, she loved the forest. The only difference came during the summer – she got a job in a summer camp in Denver. She was excited at the chance to spend some time with kids, as she and her three-year boyfriend had just started considering marriage, and possibly, a family. She was at the summer camp when the world as she knew it came to an end.

Character name: Julian Hartborne
Nicknames: Julie
Group Preference: Minor character travelling with Tasha.
Class: Non-combatant.

Ability Scores:
Strength- 2
Perception- 5
Endurance- 2
Intelligence- 3
Agility- 5
Accuracy- 3

Skills:
Rogue (lvl 1)

Appearance: Julian is small, even for a boy of eight years. He has gently curling honey-blonde hair and huge blue eyes. He used to be pale and soft-skinned, very thin, an artistic boy rather than an active one, but with recent events things had changed. His skin is starting to tan and toughen, his body starting to muscle up. None of this could really make him strong, but he is getting stronger.

Personality: Julian is a remarkably sweet boy, compassion and playfulness always having been his most significant characteristics. He laughs and smiles easily and is always trying to make other people feel better. On the flipped side, he is easily frightened and always needs someone older and surer at his side. He is more of a lover than a fighter, and has no problem obeying when he is ordered to hide and not come out until someone calls him.

History: Julian's parents, concered that he was not connecting well and making friends, sent him to summer camp in the city to try and learn some new social skills. She connected deeply with one of the counsellors there, a young woman named Tasha Fenn. There was no way for him to know that soon she would be the only one left to protect him.

Weapons and Equipment: Colored pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a pad of blank paper.

So begins...
