The Priest's assistant, with a slightly dodgy background and somewhat "sticky fingers".

A man of twenty years, standing at 5'10'' with a lanky figure. Cailean speaks with a slightly scottish accent, though appearance-wise might suggest that he actually hails from the mid-western parts of Europe and Asia.
Cai is a nice guy, really. Though he's a bit too fond of whisky, and might be a bit short-tempered every now and then. He genuinely enjoys talking to people, be it through a friendly game of cards, a simple conversation after a ceremony or over a drink. Though he's not exactly a gentleman, he does try to be as polite possible, even if he doesn't get it quite right every time.
Despite his nice features, though, he has been hanging around the wrong kinds of people for a bit too long. Though we shan't go into detail about the things he's done during his time, suffice to say that a lot of it still leaves tracks in his behavior. He's a bit jumpy around people every now and then, and doesn't quite trust his fellow man. He's also stuck with a mild case of kleptomania, not always paying attention to where his hands are wandering. Suffers from the occasional nightmare, which might take its toll physically.

Left with a scottish family, Cai was given the name of Joseph Cailean McKenzie. He has never really considered the fact that he was adopted, and mainly focused on the present. When his family moved to America, Cai followed reluctantly, not wanting to leave behind the life they had at home.
However, as he was put into work at an early age, he soon found that he should have stayed at home. Work simply wasn't anything for him. It didn't take long before he fell in with the wrong crowd, and found that he was quite the natural when it came to stealing.
He was saved from dangling from a noose by Gideon Brown, and has promised to make a better man of himself from then on. Helping the old man as his assistant, he really does try to turn to the better ways. Except, it's not as easy as one would like..
