An Lazer Gun ENT. Production
When you think about it, 12 months ain't so long.
I mean, 12 months, when you think about it is really only 52.1 weeks. And just one week...that's how all of this started isn't it?
So let me rewind it a bit…and say…’When you think about it, 52.1 weeks ain’t so long’.
My mother always taught me that starting a conversation without introducing ones self is a rude trait, so let me introduce myself. I’m Demetri Maverick, insignificant really in the grand scheme of the events going on that I will soon detail, but manners are manners right?
52.1 weeks, that’s exactly how long it’s been since Joshua’s little Game came to a close.
The Composer’s Judgment has been passed, and interestingly enough…Shibuya still stands. The Composer after witnessing one group of Player’s struggle and drive began to believe that Shibuya could make a change for the better. And by all means, as far as my peers and I could see, it certainly did.
The level and amount of positive Soul, the sort of ‘life energy’ in which every being, even the atmosphere is made up of, had reached such a height, my peers and eye had marked Shibuya and it’s Underground a utopia.
Yet, notice how I put bold face on the ‘had’ word. Everything was perfect, but the Composer, Mr. Pink, made on fatal mistake that would ultimately lead to the reason on why I am writing this report.
Joshua wanted an heir. He had grown increasingly tired of being the master of an unchanging town and wanted to step down from his post, but with no need to begin a new Reaper’s Game, no new heir could be chosen due to a lack of a way to filter the strong from the weak. And so an idea crossed his mind, create his own heir. With his vast amount of Soul and the sudden increase in Imagination (the base make up of Noise and Pins and all who die within the UG), creating an Artificial Reaper of such power would b no problem.
He created his Artificial Heir from the base Imagination of his most powerful subordinate Sho Minamimoto. Although Minamimoto defected from Joshua’s rule and went rouge in an attempt to overthrow him, Mimamimoto was without a doubt the strongest, most imaginative, and promising Reapers in the UG. From the base of the deceased, more accurately Erased, Minamimoto, Joshua created with his own mastery of Soul & Imagination a completely new being. This being was a hybrid of Reaper and Noise, but appeared simply as any other Reaper did.
The creation had no idea of his origin, the Composer simply treated him as any other Reaper. It all seemed to be simple enough, and for a while things went off with a hitch.
You saw this part coming right? Zekkai, the Artificial Reaper Joshua created slowly began to have dreams, these dreams were really Minamimoto’s long gone thoughts and ambition. He slowly began to adopt Minamimoto’s hatred of sameness, and grew a desire to put an end to this utopia he lived in.
And now we finally get to the present. Zekkai with his Composer-level Soul began to for lack of a better word, edit Shibuya. Little things at first like turning streetlights into medieval torches and such, but then he aimed higher—The 104 building. He turned the entire skyscraper into a damn castle.
It was when this happened that Joshua finally took notice of his creation’s rebellious activities. He confronted Zekkai, but as expected the Reaper refused to stop. Finally, Zekkai proposed a Game.
Like father like son eh?
This time, the Game was for direct control of Shibuya, whoever won would be the new Composer, the supreme law of the city.
Unable to see any other way out of the situation, he accepted. And yet again Shibuya was thrown into a struggle for existence, and yet again the it’s fate all hinges on two men’s Game.
One side would be Joshua’s team, composed of Reapers still loyal to him, and several Players ‘recruited’ from the Real Ground.
And the other would be Zekkai’s team, made up completely of powerful defected Reapers.
And now, let me explain my role in all of this eh, more accurately myself and my peers’ role in all of this.
I’m an Angel. Angel’s are the otherworldly beings that reside in the Higher Plane, we watch over all places in the Universe, but my group is specifically responsible for the well being of Shibuya and her people, without intervening with the Composer’s law. Unlike the last Game for Shibuya’s fate where it would only affect the city and the city only, this time Zekkai and his extreme changes to the make-up of the city are causing a negative impact on planes around it. We don’t know how exactly, but the more he changes Shibuya, the more and more planes around Shibuya decay, and it’s slowly becoming a domino effect.
And so, three of my peers, including yours truly, have been sent down to Shibuya undercover to monitor the Game. While we are only allowed to intervene as we see fit on the last day of the Game my partners have more or less taken sides on conflict, one joining Zekkai’s rebellion ranks, and the other joining Joshua’s players. I on the other hand, have decided to follow orders and stay neutral taking the place of my Senpai Mr. Hanekoma, who for one reason or another is no where to be found.
Nevertheless, as Angels we are the most powerful beings this side of the universe, as such the are certain limitations placed on us to prevent any further complications within Shibuya.
Kill Shot: Angels are forbidden to provide any type of finishing blow to a Player or Reaper, we may by all means enter battle with them, but we must leave the kill shot to another Non-Angel.
Censorship: As Angels, our power is already vastly weakened from maximum by nature when we enter the Shibuya Undergrond, but under the rule of Censorship, specifically for this game they are weakened even more than normal, leaving us with only a SLIGHT edge over the average Reaper.
Silence: An Angel, by no means may reveal they’re true identity to any UG resident. We must keep our cover as a regular Reaper/Player by all means.
Now, you’ll want to know the rules of this game right?
Mood Music 2: Give Me All Your Love
The Reapers' Game is a week-long game that participants (called Players) partake in. It is located in the Underground (or UG), which is a plane parallel to where the “real Shibuya” (Realground, or RG for short) resides. It’s kinda like layers on a cake. If the RG was the top layer, then the UG would be the bottom layer. People in the RG cannot in any way see or hear the events that take place in the UG, nor can they see the people who are located in the Underground. However, people in the UG can clearly see the events happening in both planes, but physical interaction in the RG is almost not possible. Players (and the Reapers' Game in general) are nonexistent to the people in the real Shibuya.
Players must survive all seven days of the Reapers’ Game all the while completing missions issued by the Reapers. The Reapers are an enigmatic group that occupy the Reapers’ Game. At first glance, they seem to be normal human beings just like the Players, but don’t be fooled. Unlike the Players, it’s the Reapers who are in control of what goes on during the deadly competition. They scare the unwilling Players and watch their every move as they make their way through wicked obstacles set up by the cryptic group. So, what is their ultimate goal? To erase as many Players as they can. In order to participate in the Reapers’ Game, the Players must give up something that they value the most. An entry fee can be anything and is taken even before Players begin the Game. Keep us guessing you don’t have to tell us your entry fee at the start of the game or even in your template, but please, don’t pull a Neku or Rhyme and have a missing memory ok? Be original.
When the Game starts, all Players wake up in different parts of Shibuya. They have no recollection of previous events that caused them to land in the busy area, and only two things lay in their possession: A black pin with a skull design on it, and a cell phone. Called a player pin, the true significance of the black pin is a mystery, but players with the pin are able to "scan” areas around them and tune into people’s thoughts like a radio. Players are not able to read the thoughts of others Players or Reapers in the Game; only people in the Realground.
The cell phones hold even more importance. All players in the game will receive one task from the Reapers via their cell phones. The task that one Player gets will be the same task as another Player. Same directions, same orders, same text. After the Players receive the mission, they experience a sudden and painful shock as a timer is implanted on the Players’ hand. Players then have a select amount of time to complete the mission given to them by the Reapers, or they will be erased from existence. Whether they choose to partake in the task or not is solely their decision; in most cases, if one Player completes the mission, then all Players have completed the task and thus will be spared from erasure for that day.
Along the way, strange creatures called Noise lurk in every corner of crowded Shibuya, latching to the negative thoughts of the people in the Realground. Noise are pretty unique in their own little way. Instead of existing in either the UG or RG, Noise reside in their own realm most commonly known as the Noise realm. Remember the cake I mentioned? Well, you can consider the Noise realm the icing between the two layers. While they exist in a plane of their own, the Noise can physically and mentally effect the UG and RG altogether. In the RG, the Noise influence the negative thoughts that reside in the minds of others. In the UG they take the form of various animals and creatures that have skeletal-like "tattoos" adorned on their forms. Like the Reapers, the Noise ruthlessly terrorize and attack Players throughout the Game, relentlessly attempting to erase the weak and insignificant. Though the Reapers do have most control over the Noise, the fact remains that the creatures are highly unpredictable both in and out of battles. To fight the Nois,e Players must scan an area around them. By scanning, Players are able to pinpoint the exact location of Noise which appear as large, most commonly red symbols floating in the air.
It is impossible to fight the Noise alone. To do so is suicide for the simple fact that a lone Player does absolutely NO damage to Noise.
This is where pacts come into play. To defeat the Noise, Players must forge a pact with one another to activate their abilities or psychs. A pact sort of acts like a bond between two Players, though that doesn’t necessarily mean the duo must like each other, and it definitely doesn’t mean that both Players must approve of the pact. You can walk right up to some random Player and decide to make a pact with him/her without any form of consent. The only way a pact can be truly broken is if one partner is erased. If that happens, the surviving Player must hurry and make another pact within 7 minutes, or else they too will be erased. What about the poor souls that can’t find a partner? A Player who is without a partner is well, dead. Noise are extremely attracted to Player who are without partners, and without anything to defend themselves with, they’re done. Lone Players are basically an open target for the Noise. What do you do if you don’t have a player? Run boy, by all means, run.
((Explanation of Reapers Game ends here, this is where you start reading if you’ve already played the game))
Now, as for changes with this Game, they are few, but important.
Two Sides : With two sides in this game, the traditional ‘Reaper hunts Player’ aspect of the game is out the window. The Reapers and Players of Joshua’s team work together against the Reapers of Zekkai’s team. That’s all fine on paper, but will Reapers really want to ally with Players? And vice versa?
Warzone: With the two sides also comes much more combat. Both sides of Reapers can summon Noise to attack the other side, Shibuya is an all out Warzone, combat is permitted anywhere, and I suggest if you want the jump on the enemy you better work together with your allies, but then again, maybe you enjoy utter erasure?
No Team Leader Interference: The leader of the respective sides, Joshua or Zekkai, may not, under any circumstances, participate in the Game until Day 7. Until then they will reside in their respective bases, Zekkai in the 104 Castle, and Joshua in the Shibuya River.
Objective Rotation: Each day has a different objective, nothing new there. The big change with this is the absence of a Game Master during this Game. As such, teams will rotate the privilege to pick the day’s mission day by day. They pick the time limit, objective, whatever, they're GM for the day. The team that picks the day's mission will then do whatever they can to stop the other team from completing the objective within the allotted time. If the offense completes the objective in time, it's their win, if they don't it's the defense's win. Play dirty if you want, it's all fair in love & war kid. It’s a big advantage to pick the mission, so teams should definitely think long and hard about what they chose to do here.
And finally, The Entry Fee, perhaps the most wicked mechanic of the Reaper’s Game.
All Players this time, even Reapers, have entry fee’s taken from them. Even the two Angels participating must oblige by this rule. That’s a bit of extra incentive to come out as the winner of all of this right?
The team with the most completed mission, or the last team standing, is the winner and wins the right for their leader to control Shibuya and its fate. This is even more important to the Players who are fighting not only for Shibuya, but for their own survival.
Pins, Items and Money
Another big reason to win the day’s mission is to obtain money to shop stores. Although Players and Reapers alike are dead and only exist in the UG, certain stores around Shibuya have marks written on them to allow UG dwellers to do business. The stores are central to Player (and Reaper) advancement because they hold Pins that advance and bestow new Powers upon the wearer. A Player at the start can only use three Pins, a Reaper can use six at the start, but as the Game goes on you will un-doubtly gain the ability to carry more and more.
Winners of the day’s mission receive 5000 Yen each, while losers only receive a measly 1500. Check the stores in the Places section to see how much each item costs.
And now, let’s get to your role eh?
Mood Music 3: Twister Remix
Players are everyday humans who happened upon a bit of misfortune while doing their day to day activities….they died. They find themselves in a daze in some random part of Shibuya with only a black pin and cell phone in hand. It was only by even further bad luck that they happened to find themselves as participants in what was sure to be the most arduous Reaper’s Game ever.
The one advantage Player’s have during all of this? Two heads are better than one. When two partnered Players gain a certain level of camaraderie with each other, they’re able to perform a devastating ‘Fusion Ability’. This technique clears away almost any Noise with ease, and even the Composer his self takes damage when two truly in tune Players unleash this secret weapon.
They just want to go home…but will they make it?
Template for Players
Name: (most likely…Japanese, because Shibuya is Japanese. But come up with a good reason for an American name you’re fine. Like Demetri whose an Angel has an American name, or even an American nickname like Zekkai ‘Zak’ Dakkumeru)
Gender:
Age:
Partner: (You can negotiate this with someone through PM if you all want to be partners at the start, otherwise this will be determined through events in the RP)
Ability: {Try not to go overboard on this. Remember, your character is not a god.}
Pins: {Players start with only 3 THREE pins. THREE. Check the Pin list at the end of the introduction for Pins from the Game, or you can make up your own original pins! Just don’t go overboard on their powers.}
Appearance: {Pictures are cool, but description is always preferred ya smell me?)
Personality: {More than three or four words, please.)
Bio: {Paragraph AT LEAST. No ‘complete mystery’ characters.}
Other: {Quotes? Any likes or dislikes? Theme song(s)? Here’s where you put them! }
The Reapers are Dakkumeru’s main force, and the equivalent of elite squad for Joshua. While most of the Reapers defected over to Zekkai’s side for his radical ideals, a few who were loyal to Joshua stayed behind, though reluctant to work with Players, they have no desire to see Shibuya as they know it destroyed. Remember, Reapers have entry fees too.

I know that was a lot to take in, but here, if you never played the game, or need to brush up a little more if you have played it, head on over to the TWEWY wiki. Which I've conveniently provided you with right here. They also have a fabulous map of Shibuya, which you're going to need if you're the type to find yourself roaming the streets aimlessly.
The World Ends With You Wiki
And finally, check out this Pin list, courtesy of the Wiki as well. Use this to pick some starter Pins, remember, they start off weak, but get stronger and stronger as you progress.
In-Game Pin List, pick three if you're a player, six if you're a Reaper.

Rules
1. The standard, blah, blah, blah rules apply here. No need to list em.
2. Keep it funky, respect everyone, have fun. We're all kin here.
3. "Hey Astro? What's up with those Angel Spots?" PM me if you're interested in one of the 2 angel spots. First come first served, and by no circumstance can you talk about you being the angel to any other user in-game or out. Let's keep that a mystery eh? BTW Zekkai, Demetri, and maybe Joshua (unless anyone wants to play him) will be under my control, along with one other Player.EDIT: As of July 24th only the Reaper Angel's position is open.
4.Let's all get active! Keep it going, nobody likes a slow moving RP. Doubling up on characters is fine, hell you can have 10 characters if you want, just keep em' all active.
5. Once again...reading all of that up there is totally necessary. Especially if you never played the game. You MAY skip the Reapers Game section up until I list the new game rules.
6. Post this "TIN-PIN IS A BATTLE BETWEEN SOULS!!!!11111" (yes, 1's included) above you're temp so I know that you read EVERYTHING.

OOC Notes
In this stillness, one man sat in his black leather seat, turned towards the window of his massive fortress he gazed upon the city that he, without the smallest bit of fear had claimed. The room he resided in lay in the very top of the complex, perfect, he thought, for a man with a destiny as high and grand as his was sure to be. It was dimly lit, the only bit of light came from the silver moonlight that penetrated from the window, it wrapped his domain in it's glittery blanket.
He had his left leg folded over his right, sitting very erect, tense, no, anxious, anticipating something. In his right hand, which was hanging off the seat, brushing up against the ground, he nervously flipped his black phone open and close, again and again.
And then, there was a knock at the door.
"Yeah." The door swung open, and out stepped a blue haired, neatly dressed young man in glasses. His hands were behind his back, he had a regal air about him.
"Zekkai-san. It's time." He informed the man, very solemn.
The man sitting smirked wickedly, coolly, he brought his phone into his lap and began writing a single text. With a chuckle, he hit send.
"Finally. Kinta...get my men together. Make sure Josh's boys don't live to see Day 1." Blood red eyes were filled with a maniacal fire.
* * *
There was a loud noise, a scream.
Bright flashes...lights?
And then...everything was silent.
The world around him slowly melted into existence. He was laying down, on his back. The sky...it was dark, and the moon was bright a full. His weary violet eyes struggled to make sense of where he was at. It was smack in the middle of the scramble crossing; He was in Shibuya.
"Shibuya...? How...?" He looked at his hands, to make sure he was all in one piece, but to add to his surprise- on his hand was a strange timer.
59:43
And it was ticking. Still lying on his back, he her a beep from inside his hoodie pocket. It was his phone, a bright yellow slider. It was a text, plastered on the screen it read:
--At one, five beasts make their call--
It was twelve midnight right now, could the 'at one' portion refer to the time? No, what was he doing? This was probably nothing but spam. --but when he went to delete it, the message was still there. Again he tried to get rid of it, and again, but it was no use, the message was still there.
"What is going on...?"
57:35
* * *
A lone figure sat casually upon a random skyscraper in town. He sipped smoothly on a mocha frap, golden irises scanning the area. His dread locked hair flew in the gentle summer's breeze.
"Game on eh?"
OOC Notes
The pain in her chest and stomach disappeared, and she resumed to get up. She grabbed her arms and glanced around to stop herself from crying. "S-Shibuya? Why am I here...?" She glanced up at a clock displaying building and it read, 12:05 AM. She looked away for a second and her phone rang out when it gets a text message. She took her phone out carefully and read the message from an unknown number, "At one, five beasts make their call." She raised an eyebrow and put her phone away. She felt a sting on her right hand and lifted it up towards her. 55:32. "Huh?" She muttered, noticing it was counting down. Her eyes widened and she attempted to wipe it off. She failed, of course. "This is... weird... Is this a dream? Am I still me?" She closed her eyes to contact her inner thoughts. Yep. She was still Ruka Kimiya.
"Ahh, city lights." A man cooed during his nightly stroll of Shibuya. He carried a glass bottle of soda and casually strided around Cat Street. No one could see him, but that didn't matter to him. He could stare down a girl and he wouldn't be slapped for it. They could see him in stores though, which killed his thought of stealing without being noticed. He stopped to stare up at the moon. He took a chugged more of his soda and sighed happily. "Pretty soon now, those kids get a taste of me. They should be lucky if its me erasing them instead of those other reaper wimps." He chuckled but quickly looked around to make sure his partner didn't hear him. He clutched his fist, reading K O J I. He looked up to the moon again and smirked, "It's game time, kiddos."
Watching from above, a woman whose skin was light like porcelain stood leaning against a large window, peering down at the city below. Lights flickered and sounds of cars, music, and people roared below, no matter what time it was. She was leaning to the right, her left arm was holding her right from the front, as she held a glass of wine. She sipped every few moments whenever she felt like it. She placed the glass on her table and adjusted her long light blue wrap for a dress because it was bunching up towards her stomach. "Sometime now... That's what they told me..." She mumbled to herself, "Angels like these can't wait forever..." She yawned, and reclined in a large cushioned chair. Her name? Angilia. She doesn't accept any nicknames, although people call her "Ang", "Gili", or even "Angel." Sometimes, she doesn't mind, but she prefers to be called by her full first name.
OOC Notes
But now her phone. She picked her phone out of her pocket and was relieved to see her own phone. It was a Droid, so that was good. But she unlocked it and looked into her messages. So this was the mission?
--At one, five beasts make their call--
What did that mean? But she didn't have time. She opened her mouth in pain as she felt her hand singed by the phone. The timer... 59:37 She had to move. She had no idea where to go but the Hachiko would be a good start. Maybe one of her friends was here!? That's where they'd go! She desperately began to run towards the statue to look for somebody. She had to find somebody!
She was scared.
OOC Notes
Katsuo jolted upright. Dead. He was dead. That was all that he could think of at the moment. It had been a bad day from the start, but this was not how he had pictured it to end. It had all ended. Well, maybe. Except for the reason he was still here.
He pushed himself up of the ground and looked around at the empty crossing. Even at night, these streets were never empty. Something was weird in Shibuya tonight. You know, other than the dead walking again. Come to think of it, why was he in Shibuya in the first place? Did the Reaper's Game only take place here? That must have been it. Which led him to look over what was sitting in his lap.
The were pins. He knew that you used them to fight, but what did they do and how did they do it? And what was that black and white one with the skull-thing on it? A player pin, maybe? Ugh, so many questions, so few answers. Now was not the time to second guess everything. For now it was time to move forward.
But before the "moving forward" could get started, a sharp chirp came from his back pocket. His phone? What? He took it out and saw a message scrawled across it.
--At one, five beasts make their call--
What did that mean? Katsuo wasn't sure that he wanted to find out. Anyway, first things first. He had to find a partner. Without them, he was powerless to fight the Noise. And if he was powerless to fight the Noise, he couldn't possible clear a mission. And if he couldn't clear a mission, he would survive long. And all he wanted to do was survive. It was time to get going. Hopefully the statue of the loyal dog would be the prime place to find a loyal partner. He took of to Hachiko.
Tick... Tick... Tick...

I don't want to set the world on fire...
He heard the light beats of that song from the earphones propped next to him. He stared at them for the longest time and began to deeply breathe.
I just want to start a flame in your heart.
He pushed himself up with his arms and sat facing the AMX building. He lifted the earphones and pulled them up to reveal his iPod. He turned it off and felt intense heat and the scent of charcoal and ash. He turned around and saw remains of what was his home. He got up and glared at it.
"It's all your fault." He heard something clink to the ground and saw a mysterious button or pin of some sort. He bent down and looked at it. He felt his phone vibrate and he felt as if his hand was shocked. He heard the sound of a clock ticking and his hand displayed a countdown.
58:59...58:58...
"What the hell is going on?" Raiden spoke, glaring at everyone and everything that was around him. He faced the street leading to the Scramble Crossing and whatever that was left of his heart told him to go there.
(If I am slow on posting, go on without me for a while. I can catch up. P.S. I can't count.)
OOC Notes
He shut his eyes, trying to make sense of it all. "Ah!" He jerked up, sweat rolling down the side of his face. The moment he tried to recall how he got there, a sharp pain shot through his body. Whatever, he shook it off and stood up, shaking.
Sure enough. None of these people paid him any mind. He reached out to touch one, a young woman, chatting away on her cell, but where he should have made contact, he felt nothing but air; his hand fazed right through her. His eyes widened.
"Wait..."
He dug in his pocket again, pulling out his yellow cell. Sure enough the text was there.
--At one, five beasts make they're call.--
He was certain he had heard of something like this in a book he read, but he could mull any of it over because something was tugging at the bottom of his cargo shorts. It was warm, furry, he looked town slowly.
It stood there on two legs, purring innocently. It looked up at him with large, innocent black eyes. He was unaffected.
"What are you?" He asked, annoyed. It was a small sky blue...winged lemur. All over it's body were bright yellow tattoos reminiscent of graffiti. It tugged at his shorts again, the boy sighed.
"You seem like you want something." He crouched down, getting eye level with the thing. To his surprise, the tiny creature was holding a black skull pin, it reminded him of that artist CAT's work. "This for me? Just what are you?" The sky blue lemur tilted it's head, confused. "I'm Taro...Taro Murakami. I guess you can't talk huh...?" Taro cracked a bit of a smile, and petted the creature, it was so warm and fuzzy.
Tick....tick...tick...
The sound of a clock ticking brought him back into reality.
He held his right palm up to his face. Time kept on ticking...
49:56...
[About the time...each of my posts (at least the ones that DO have the time in them) will be the most 'recent'. Basically, if I have the time left at 49, in your post you cant have the time left at 48. It's perfectly fine however, for you to still have your time at 52 minutes left, if I have my time at 49 minutes left. Make sense?]

"Hello? Can anyone help?!" She yelled, knowing no one would respond. She slowly approached a bench taken by someone else, but she sat in their place. She knew they couldn't see, hear, or even feel her presence. As she sat down, the woman sitting there shivered and Ruka could see the coldness coming out from her breath. She was like a ghost, almost. That, or she can't feel the coldness of night.
"This sucks..."
"I wonder if they're any raging parties goin' on right now," Koji muttered, throwing his empty bottle of soda in the trash, "I could really use someone to talk to..." Koji began to make his way to 104 building area to get some new "duds." He isn't easily impressed with his clothes, plus he likes to burn money as much as he possibly could.

Her hand slid right through them. They were still alive. She had forgotten. They had to have died to enter the Reaper's game and they were alive. She was alone here. She couldn't believe herself. She was already on the verge of crying and she had barely even been here. She just hoped that she found someone to make a pact with before the noises started to appear. Well, others might come here. People always met up here for things. She'd just look for people coming into the area that were, you know running through people. That should be a safe indication that they were a player too. But for right now she sat next to her friends an started to cry silently. She couldn't help it. She was alone and she was dead. Now what? What did she have left now? Maybe she should let the noise erase her. She never asked to be part of this. She couldn't fight. Who was she kidding, that she could win? Still crying silently a bit, she took out her phone and looked back at the message. What did she care right now?

He walked over to the group, carefully making his way through the small crowd. Sure, he could probably just walk right through them, or even fly through them if he wanted, but he wanted to at least act like he was still alive. There was a girl near the group of criers who was also bawling silently. Even though she probably couldn't see him, he decided to try and cheer her up. He hoped over to her and said, "Hey there, Teary-chan! Come on, cheer up! It's the middle of a beautiful night, this is no time to cry! You have to be strong and happy, not wimpy and sad! It's not that hard! Even I can do it!" Katsuo made a huge grin before laughing loudly. He added, "Well, it's not like you could hear me anyway." Man, he was already lonely. This would be a hard week.
OOC Notes
"Well, it's not like you could hear me anyway."
That's right! Why could she hear him? She was in the Reaper's Game, not in the Real World. He shouldn't be able to see her. She glanced around andsaw nobody else around that he could be talking to and looked up at him. He was in the Reaper's game! It was day 1 so he probably didn't have a partner! He may have to put up with her for the week, but she didn't want to be erased anymore. She dropped her phone next to her and grabbed his arm. Immediately as her hand clasped on his arm she formed the pact. She knew that he would know what she'd done, but he would have to accept it. She didn't have any other way to make sure he didn't go away.
And so, she found her partner.
OOC Notes
The people went by without seeing either of the two men. Now that they were in the UG it was like they were ghosts and in some ways they actually were. Shigeru liked it this way. Even when he wasn't in the UG, like his privileges as a Reaper allowed, he stayed out of sight. It felt safer that way.
Koji said something about parties. This was his chance. He increased his pace until he was directly behind the man. "If you want a party so badly we could go check out the new players." He said loudly so it wouldn't come out too muffled by his mask. "You realize that it's day 1, right?"
His fellow Reaper and partner was wearing a vest so his tattoos were visible (to anyone in the UG anyway). Shigeru never liked the appearance the man chose but had learned to tolerate it. He didn't care about clothed anyway. Even when he had been alive he rarely bought new clothes. It made him quite te oddity in Shibuya.

The young man scowled. He wondered why they were even granted an hour, chances were that today would be their last anyway.
That was because, at one, when the timer ran out, Kinta and the others would release five large Noise. Any Player that wasn't partnered by then would be Noise fodder, and any Players that were partnered, well, could they really defeat all five?
He let out a deep sigh. "Fourty-seven minutes...that's all." A cold wind drifted through the district.
With a narrow gaze his cerulean orbs admired the full moon.
[Crappy post, it's early in the morning sue me!]

Inside the store, he picked out a strange beanie and held it to show Shigeru. "You like this? I think it would go good with my eyes. Well, anything goes good with those..." He blinked excessively as he widened his eyes to stare down Shigeru, even if he couldn't see through that gas-mask of his. "Yo, man, why do you wear that thing? Isn't it hot?" This was going to be an annoying first day for Shigeru, for sure.
Ruka glanced at her hand again, "52:12." She was beginning to worry. "Five beasts make their call..." She paused, "At one, right?" She took her phone out and checked the message again. "Five beasts?" She slightly scratched her cheek with her index finger. Ruka lifted herself from the bench when she noticed a boy running from the AMX area. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, but he was going through people as he ran. She tilted her head at him and patiently waited. "Is he like me? Or am I going crazy?"
Angilia impatiently tapped her fingers against the arm of the chair she was sitting in. She quickly stood up, sighed, and began to pace. 'My peers... Are late...' She thought, frowning. She picked up the glass of wine again, gradually taking sips. Her heels clicked against the floor and she glanced over to her lit fireplace. The fire was slowly going out, not that it bothered her or anything. She looked at the clock above the fireplace. "12:10" She groaned and mumbled, "It's been ten minutes. I'm pretty sure that the game has started, I need something to watch or do..."

Girls like her at 12 at night would be safe in their homes but she wasn't. She was also staring directly at Raiden. He looked at her for a while before walking up to her.
He looked directly in her eyes and he lifted his hand to her with his fingers extended as a test to see if she would respond. He spoke to her, "Can you see me?" It was quiet but he was desperate to talk to someone no matter how anti social he was, or used to be.

He quietly followed the man inside the store, wishing he didn't have to. A smirk appeared on his face as he watched Koji grab an odd hat of some kind and show it to him. "Yes, wonderful." He replied jokingly but now that he wasn't raising his voice it came out muffled.
The tall man looked down at him with a piercing gaze which was exactly the kind of thing why he put the mask on in the first place. Even though the man probably couldn't see his eyes he averted his gaze without turning his head. "It's no so bad now that it's still dark."
"And heat is better then having to smell....everything." Talking became increasingly frustrating as he struggled to find the words. "Can we go now? The less players make it to day 2 the better."
OOC Notes
What the hell was that?, he thought as if he was mad about it.
He watched her look at her hand. It made him look at his own timer and he became frightened.
"Uh, Raiden Uematsu... Do you know what the timer is for?"

They still had time. He pulled the cup away from his lips, disappointed written clearly across his face. It was just about finished. He sighed and reluctantly cast the cup off the roof top and onto the wind, most likely some poor sap would have the unfortunate honor of having the thing land on him, backwash and all. He smirked at the thought.
"Ah-" There was a muffled chirp from inside his shirt pocket, his phone? The dread-locked fellow quickly took the black Droid from it's home in his pocket and drew his pattern to unlock the screen. It was a reminder alarm, from 15 minutes ago. He winced--
--Meet with the others at Gili's Place--
"Must have slipped my mind..." He shrugged, scratching the back of his head. There was nothing he could do now except head on over to the woman's apartment, and pray that she wasn't too pissed.

Back in the scramble Taro was still crouched, talking with the strange creature. With a curious gaze he looked at the Pin the thing was holding.
"That pin..." Violet eyes narrowed observing it closely. There was a strange air about it...
The lemur growled, forcefully it pushed the pin into Taro's hand. At that instant, Taro's eyes grew big, and everything around him went black.
A river, no, a flood of voices rushed to him.
I wonder if 777's ever gonna put a new album out...
Is it me or does 104 feel strange these days?
Oh man! I'm gonna be so dead when I get home! I left the iron on!
And then, he was back, right back in the scramble crossing.
He looekd around, frantic.
"Were those...their thoughts?" His eyes darted around the area, he noticed two people, in the distance, talking. And people were walking right through them!
"Those two...I couldn't hear what they were thinking." He opened up his left hand, gazing at the black pin.
"Is this...the Reaper's Game?"

Ruka stared down at the ground, "No, I don't... Did you check your message on your phone by any chance?" Ruka heard someone close by, and noticed a young boy looking around. "One sec..." She muttered to Raiden, and slowly began to approach him. She was reluctant to call out to him, fearing that he was still alive. She knelt down a little and looked at him, "Are you okay...?" She asked, now waiting for a reply.
OOC Notes
"Tch."
However, his furry companion took a much warmer approach to the visitor. The lemur strolled over to her and nestled up against the girl's leg, purring gently.
Taro looked out the corner of his eye at the sky blue furry, disappointed in its actions.
"Get away from her- she could be a Reaper." He said sharply, and instantly the lemur stepped away from the girl, clearly reluctant in doing so. He (Taro determined that the lemur was a he by this point) obviously wasn't convinced that this girl had bad intentions in her heart.

"Pommel horse accident." He calmly answered. With one hand he fished a small bonbon out of his jacket and started unwrapping the foil around it. "It always was my worst event."
They had to get past the 104 building (or 'fortress' as people were calling it now) to reach Scramble Crossing. The small man looked up at the giant tower as they got closer to it. Zekkai had really livened the place up, he thought. He saw a cup fall down from a great height and quietly wondered where it had come from. A smile appeared on his face as he witnessed it hitting the ground...but only after bouncing off a man's head. A steady stream of curses was now coming from that direction.
OOC Notes
Koji cringed, "Ow... That's bad, dude." He noticed the cup that fell from the building, startling him. "Don't people know where the trash cans are nowadays?" He crossed his arms and looked up the building. 104, one of the tallest buildings there in all of Shibuya. "What's with that?" He mumbled to Shigeru.
OOC Notes
"Hello," he said quietly, offering a hand to the girl, "my name is Yamikaze Katsuo, but just call me Katsuo or something like it, I really don't mind. You're my partner, huh? Just remember for the next time that it's better to say something first, alright? And what's your name?"

I think we need to get this whole tin-pin tournament out of the way as quickly as possible.
Okay. I should form up something for Koji to do while the tournament finishes. :3

Alright everyone finally, I started the bout. I said it in my post, but I'll say it here too. Anyone can take control of Kinta's pin, for the sake of action not getting stuck without my presence.
Also, I forgot to say this in my earlier posts, but the final round is going to have the slammers with only 3 pins each, more sudden death-ish that way.
Re: [OOC] The World Ends With You: .:End Game:.
The plan is alright too Astro. I don't mind.

@Lightning - Yeah, I understand, not really much room to jump in if you're not slamming, I think that was Zorro's problem too with Shigeru. Luckily the slam-off is just about over, then back to the normal fare.
