Description

The Forest King is tall, well built humanoid, standing roughly seven feet, from feet to crown. A flowing beard hangs down to the middle of his chest, the rich brown hair interlaced with green vines, which sprout small spade shaped leaves and tiny red berries. Shoulder length hair on his head matches the beard, from color to the vines. Appearing from his temples, are a pair of wisent horns. His broad face holds an agelessness about it, being neither old or young. Bright green eyes stare out from under bushy brows and over a Greek nose. His skin is weathered and deeply tanned, almost a nut brown in color.

A crown of red and gold oak leaves circles his brow, resting in the niche where the horns spurt from his skull. His tunic, which reaches to his thighs and has short, half sleeves, appears to have been made from green, growing leaves, all striched together into a sold piece with thin curls of moss. His trousers are woven grasses, both green and brown, forming a checkered pattern. a pair of calf high boots and a broad belt around his waist appear to have been made from strips of pine bark.

Personality

A rather laid back kinda ruler, The Forest King, sometimes called Erlking, only steps in when things get out of control and when he does, its not good for either side. His wrath is terrible to behold and his power is greater then any two of the Fey Courts combined. However, he rather would spend his time walking through the forest, drinking faerie wine or sleeping. The only leadership he he regularly exhibits is deciding if there can be a Wyld Hunt once a year.

Equipment

A hunting lance of ash wood and bronze spear head
A bronze sword
A pack of thirteen ghostly hounds
An eight legged horse.

History

Created when the gods made this world, the Forest King was among the first of the Fey and was allowed to chose a domain, as where his bothers and sisters. He chose the forest, for he did love the trees. Reluctantly, he agreed to rule over the younger of the Fey, when the gods asked it of him. He never really took enjoyment in telling others what to do, allowing the Fey to do as they pleased for the most part. He hasn't changed a bit over the years.
