Power:
Does being awesome count? Guess not. Rei’s powers are linked to a poison that developed slowly within himself to the point where it needs release every so often that it’ll make him physically sick if he doesn’t do something about it. Anything he touches is burned by a sort of sticky acid. This acid is removable, but it spreads after contacting something, so if you aren’t aware where it is, you’ll soon be getting a surprise! However, as previously mentioned, if he doesn’t use his powers enough every so often, he’ll end up falling weak or ill and puke up that acidic stuff. It doesn’t effect him nearly as much as it does other objects.

For instance, if he laid his hand on the brick wall of a building, the bricks would become visibly infected with the greenish gooey substance, then start to quickly burn away until a hole eats through it.

How it effects humans: for some unknown reason, the acid doesn’t burn through human flesh. He’s 17 and definitely not a scientist, so he has no logical idea why this is. If anything, it just hardens and gets in their way or distracts them. It burns through clothing though ;3.

Personality:
Rei is… Well, let’s see. To count it on one hand, he’s cocky, self-centered, bigoted, stubborn, and snarky. Yeah, that’s right. Snarky. He thinks highly of himself and lowly of others. Actually, he just thinks he’s the most downright epic think in the universe and that all others who disagree should either bow to his ankles or burn under his fire. That said, he doesn’t really have a short temper and usually remains calm and overconfident in nearly any situation. He truly believes he’s invincible and won’t hesitate to prove those who challenge him wrong. He never backs down from a challenge and won’t back away from a fight, never daring to look weak in the presence of, well, anyone. He holds a grudge towards those who mess with the ones he actually likes and when he is angry, his target better watch out. He's highly protective over Cyrus and will do practically anything for the blond, going so far as to rarely ever trusting anyone else to be around him.
Lately, Rei seems to be delving deeper into his thoughts and learning more about himself. He keeps getting frustrated and distracted easily, often losing himself to his mental ramblings. The thoughts he had long ago about just giving up on life and taking the easy way out have been sneaking up on him to the point where he's lost most of his vigor and is just desperately ready to get the Hell out of here.

Also, he had a younger sister before the device put up the barrier. He loved her more than anything else in the world. But one day, about a year after they were trapped, she fell really ill, as many of the other children had, and died. He was devastated and so, to this day, carries around her favorite stuffed cat bear in secret.
