Introduction

*I plan for this roleplay to be a combination of threads connecting overall together on the somewhat same setting. In other words, a lot of threads for multiple storylines coming from the continents' lives, places, and adventures.*

In the world of Bastion, five continents thrive, with many other small islands dotting the vast seas. This land is known by the Gods as Time's Wasteland, for it is where every used minute begins anew, but it has a tendency to replay itself. Throughout the world, five timezones play themselves over once again, being a mix of the past hundred centuries dispersing worldwide.

Years 0-500:
This land is known as Achinchia, and the citizens live in a world of primitive culture, structures, beliefs, and magics. Though not much science has progressed through the civilizations, magic has strongly thrived. Sacrifices are often the norm, to some unseen controllers in hopes of gaining their favor. Hunting and gathering are often the normal of men, with farms that dot across the land. In the world's crust hidden treasures lay, ranging from simple copper ore, to that of gold veins the width of rivers. Few have ventured below the surface, but those that have are starting a new form of commerce based around the trade of gold for goods.

Years 501-1,000:
A continent known as Pastive, where irrigation is making its starting advances and agriculture is blooming, where men no longer hunt in the bush for their food, and where men have learned the significance of trades, services, and money. Bustling cities are starting to develop from farm-towns, and villages are taking their shapes, the inhabitants surviving day-to-day. Few monarchs have staked their claim in this world, but some cities and villages have designated leaders, whom commands as law. Mines, lumber-camps, and other resource stations are posted throughout the countrysides, always hunting for wealth and prosperity. Wars have been known to burst-out among the cities, and maritime is beginning to take hold, but much of the world is still undiscovered to them.

Years 1,001-1,500:
The continent of Marisha has an outer edge of maritime towns and keeps. But towns, castles, villages, and keeps littered the hills and plains of the large continent. This area is the representation of the Middle Ages, but magicians and other mythical creatures known about that time exist. Unicorns, centaurs, harpies, and other creatures are known to hide about the forests of Marisha, providing trouble for those that wander. Although many mythical creatures exist, dragons are not among them...yet.
:
Years 1,501-2,000:
Mageen is the continent of current times, but it is different from the normal world. Magic is prevalent, and dragons and other mythical creatures roam about in great number. Dragon hunting is a great profession of the age, but so is magery. Most cities in the continent are focal points to the deities of the magi, where their powers are derived. Also stores sat on every corner, and vendors roamed the streets filling the narrow ways with echoing advertising. Universities are in all of the major cities, and scholars are high in reputation and rank. Science is also beginning to take hold as well, now cars are common ways of transportation, but those better in wealth may be able to own flying cars.

Years 2,001-2,501:
Futura is a land of technological wonder. Not only has science advanced, but magic advanced as well keeping stride. Scholars are still of high rank, but politicians have come into the mix as well. Although criminals have begun to take hold in some areas, law enforcement now uses magic to their advantage, but the local cartels and gangs are coming to grasp the concepts and advances as well. Necromancers, Sorcerors, Mages, Warlocks, and Techno-Wizards are among the highest classes on the continent, which gives them the ability to kill if need be. Some of the magicians have let the power corrupt them, and they are shadows of their former selves delving into evil experiments and research, in hopes of finding greater, more destructive magics.

Now for your part:

You have the chance to go anywhere you wish, for you are a 'Watcher', what we call angels. Each country has 4 watchers designated by the Gods. Your task is to see nothing is drawn too far on the side of good or bad, ensuring the proper progression of events. There are certain souls that are reborn in Time's Wasteland with hopes to destroy their current existence, or to try and influence the other zones populations for better or worse. You are the judge, and you must complete your decision whether it hinders or hurts the population. The answer the is right, may not be the easiest to complete.

Or you can live a life in one of the timezones, progressing it how you see fit. If you wish to try and become an evil, world-conquering mad-scientist or want to rule over a village or city of people, go ahead. Do you want to obtain massive funds from illegal exploits, or are you going to work for the righteous and become a police officer. Will you become a witch-doctor that is the only source of medical aid in the village, or are you going to become a powerful sorcerer that rules with an iron will. Possibilities are endless.

There will be room for 20 "Watchers"(4 to each zone), but the other positions are figuratively endless.
