Entertainment has slowly become far more daring, far more edgy. In the year 2012 that pushed the boundaries beyond anything seen before when the Traitor Game was introduced. 100 students from the single continent are chosen and entered into the Academy - a constantly filmed 'school' where they are left to establish their own social standing and choose their own fate. Classes are taught by holograms and morals are thrown out of the window when the true storyline comes into focus.

One is the Traitor, a student selected to prey on all others, but mostly the Target. They must spread gossip, sabotage work and never be caught. Of course, they are assigned Knives for their allies who will help them and keep their identity a secret for the entire year.

One is the Target, along with their Shields. The Target must hunt to uncover this Traitor before the Traitor uncovers them.

The student body are pitted against each other at every opportunity possible, and taught to stop at nothing to earn the ratings they need to make it out of the school alive. If you're 'boring', you're out and the viewers can decide your fate. They vote for the couples to be ruined, the damage done and the course of the year itself.

This year, Julie Sung is Traitor 100 and only one side can survive.

GENERAL RULES
:: Keep it T rated (Teen and Young Adult), if you are in any doubt about if a scene is appropriate, skip over it. Sexual stuff can be discussed by characters and hinted at, but always fade to black.
:: Blood and gore is acceptable, just don't go over the top.
:: Swearing is allowed but, again, don't overdo it.
:: Be decent and respectful to fellow players, okay? The same doesn't need to apply for characters but the moment anyone starts an argument they risk being kicked out - real life drama sucks.
:: Don't shun the newbs.
:: 3rd person and at least three paragraphs please; no one liners or very short posts.
:: Don't move another player's character unless they've given permission and approve of the post beforehand.

CHARACTER RULES/BASIS
:: Humans only until further on in the storyline where there may be the odd twist or two~ PM me to request anything other and we'll probably be able to find something that works.
:: Ages 16-18 male or female. If you want a different age, PM me and we may be able to work something out.
:: This is the future, yes, so wacky eye and hair colours are probably the norm. To some extent, so will things like mechanic limbs but these must have only one special feature. (e.g. screwdriver, torch ect...)
:: No godmodding, special powers won't come in until later and will be rewarded to active and helpful players.


CHARACTER TEMPLATE OUTLINE
:: Age, name and whatnot, all the basics.
:: Subject: Each student has their own subject.
:: District: Each student comes from a different district from 1 to 50, two from each area. 50 is the poorest, 1 the richest and social power is very often based upon these areas. Everyone's area number is inked onto the palm of their right hand.
:: Be creative! The camera loves the quirky and the odd characters, and so do reality TV shows. Think of a Big Brother-esque show, where drama is encouraged.

:.: Things haven't changed much in the year 3012, the same songs will be popular and the same films are showing as the population are under a very strict program to preserve the essence of the human race on their own planet. But still feel free to be creative and make your own bands, songs, celebrities and such things.
