Welcome to Death City, home to the DWMA an organization of justice designed to keep the peace. Where the students are the last line of defense against evil. A meister and their weapons primary concern is to collect 99 souls of evil spirits, as well as that of a witch to transform the latter into a Death Scythe. However, the safety of the DWMA is always plagued with the lurking threat of enemy witches, who desire uprising and destruction. This conflicts with the order of events for any young hopeful, but after subduing the witch Medusa and her older sister, a new generation of enrolled students should be able to pursue their training without fear of interruption from outside forces, right?
