Introduction
The ominous towers loom around the world of Formidilosus. At first the empire thought it's superiour soldiers could drive back the beasts. However it was soon apparant that they had thought wrong, casualties began to soar and the empire had no choice but to pull back and fortify in three main cities; Eneus (the copper city), Insuadibilis (the adamant city), and Silicis (the stone city). The only thing left for the quickly degenerating empire of Ferramenta is to fight the demons that spew from the gates of the beasts. Many bodies of both creature and human form litter the first few levels of the mighty towers. Many strange plants are also found inside the corridors and vast feilds, they tend to be used in highly valuable medicinal stews. However, with the soldiers of the once great empire otherwise occupied fighting the beasts that come from the dark towers, it is up to brave adventurers otherwise known as climbers to go and retrieve the treasures from within the towers.

Celaluna was gazing down at her drink, it was dark, sweet and it burned her throat going down. Honestly the Shaman had no idea what it was, she just had ordered the "most popular" drink, and neither did she care. She was leaning up against a wall to a liquor shop, she was nervous, she had been searching for a new Climber Team for months and she heard about a particularly skilled one who often walked pasted this store, she felt the cold metal rings of her armor dig into her skin, and she took another drink trying to settle her nerves

Cruentus Contego walked past the liquor stores shining walls and kept his eyes focused on the shining bronze street. The sound of his well oiled and sturdy armor clanking and scraping lightly against the metal street. Letting his shield shift down from his shoulder by a few centimeters he would keep his left hand on the crossguard of his weapon. Barely taking notice of the woman drinking outside the shop.

Celaluna Sha'rik knew this must have been the fabled Climber, he seemed so heroic and majestic. Celaluna took another drink from her bottle, almost draining it down to nothing, took a deep breath and walked forward, and fell into a walking pace beside the armored man. She swallowed hard inhaled deeply and then nervously spoke, barely louder than a whisper,
"Um.. Excuse me Sir, are you a Climber?"

Cruentus Contego drew his left foot up to his right and let his gaze wander up the woman that had fallen instep with his long strides. Hearing the word climber a small grin would begin to tug at the corners of his mouth "I may be a climber, but if there isn't money or something else to be gained in the journey you can count me out." he said the words smoothly and quickly before shifting his shield the two centimeters back up his shoulder to have it within his grasp "and who might you be, asking strangers if they're climber?"

Cruentus Contego raised his left hand from his sword and ran his fingers through his brunette locks. The grin spreading over his lips as he looked down at her with his piercing brown eyes. "a team, and what would the goal of said team be?" he asked her while pointing to a small park with large copper benches "why don't we go sit and discuss it?"

Celaluna Sha'rik sighed in relief, and the blushing quickly faded, she walked over to one on the benches pulled her rapier from her belt, sat down and put the rapier across her lap. Then she looked at the brunette man with his piercing brown eyes and waited from him to sit down. She was relaxing a little bit even tough she was still tense and jumpy.

Cruentus Contego slipped down into a sitting position his long hawktail style sword set quickly upon one edge of the table. The red blade and tips pointed diagonally outwards from himself. The point would not be aimed at her however, "So miss Sha'rik, about this expedition you mentioned what would the aim be and how much money are we looking to make along the way..oh and whats the beast we would be primarily hunting." He asked all the questions in quick succession his voice breathing the words easily, as if it were rehearsed.

Cruentus Contego sighed and leaned back carefully stretching out his upper body. "well climbing the towers the easy part, as for the monsters whats your plan for handling them, what all are you going to gather into the team beside me and yourself, that is if I decide to go along." Letting a single breath escape beneath his teeth he would try hard to keep the grin from slipping or growing larger. "it sounds straight forward but are you ready to fight the beasts that tore apart whole battalions of the empires soldiers?" he would carefully shift his left arm and move his shield down to set it lightly on the ground behind himself.

Celaluna Sha'rik looked up at Cruentus, she sighed and arched her back, sending a series of cracks down her spine. She winced as the crackling rolled down her back and then looked back at the warrior.
"I plan on recruiting more people, and only the best of the best, and I've heard your one of the best" Cela whispered, then took a second shocked at her own confidence, it seemed as if the voice wasn't her own.
"and yes, I am willing to face those monsters," She moved the rapier so the tip of the scabbard was on the ground. Then the Shaman looked at warrior
"Cunning, and knowledge have won more battles then brute force, you should know that"
then Cela suddenly felt very dwarfed next to the massive warrior next to her, and most of the confidence she might have gained evaporated in thin air.

Cruentus Contego rolled his shoulders back and they gave a slight crack sound before the grin took over his features. "Well you better start looking, because we'll need more than just two to get past the tower." He would heft the shield up from the ground and hold it out to her with ease "here see if you can lift this for me" his grin would mysteriously vanish as his features began to harden into a very serious and cold expression "if you can't even lift this those monsters will eat you alive." he said coolly his eyes not wandering from her face.

Celaluna Sha'rik swallowed hard again and looked at the behemoth of a shield. She licked her lips nervously, put the rapier back on the belt, then stepped up close to the shield and grabbed it from the Red-Warrior. Cela took the shield and struggled to lift it, pulling up and tugging with all her force. She dropped it on the ground and then she wedged her left foot under the shield and used that to help her lift the shield. After a quick breath she kicked the shield up with her, leg lifting one end and then caught the lifted end of the shield with her hand and then using momentum from her foot she spun around and put the shield on her back and then using all her leg and back strength lifted the shield onto her back.

Cruentus Contego 's lips parted slightly as a small chuckle left his throat. Reaching out with one hand he would easily lift the shield while standing, if she had no objections he was just going to walk away carrying her and the shield back towards the road "See, easy enough to lift after awhile, and you lifted it, however barely ..but don't worry I can always lift it for you" he would grin again "for all your talk of cunning plans you really don't get teamwork do you?"
