Introduction
The ominous towers loom around the world of Formidilosus. At first the empire thought it's superiour soldiers could drive back the beasts. However it was soon apparant that they had thought wrong, casualties began to soar and the empire had no choice but to pull back and fortify in three main cities; Eneus (the copper city), Insuadibilis (the adamant city), and Silicis (the stone city). The only thing left for the quickly degenerating empire of Ferramenta is to fight the demons that spew from the gates of the beasts. Many bodies of both creature and human form litter the first few levels of the mighty towers. Many strange plants are also found inside the corridors and vast feilds, they tend to be used in highly valuable medicinal stews. However, with the soldiers of the once great empire otherwise occupied fighting the beasts that come from the dark towers, it is up to brave adventurers otherwise known as climbers to go and retrieve the treasures from within the towers.

Cruentus Contego rolled his shoulders back and they gave a slight crack sound before the grin took over his features. "Well you better start looking, because we'll need more than just two to get past the tower." He would heft the shield up from the ground and hold it out to her with ease "here see if you can lift this for me" his grin would mysteriously vanish as his features began to harden into a very serious and cold expression "if you can't even lift this those monsters will eat you alive." he said coolly his eyes not wandering from her face.
OOC Notes
Celaluna Sha'rik swallowed hard again and looked at the behemoth of a shield. She licked her lips nervously, put the rapier back on the belt, then stepped up close to the shield and grabbed it from the Red-Warrior. Cela took the shield and struggled to lift it, pulling up and tugging with all her force. She dropped it on the ground and then she wedged her left foot under the shield and used that to help her lift the shield. After a quick breath she kicked the shield up with her, leg lifting one end and then caught the lifted end of the shield with her hand and then using momentum from her foot she spun around and put the shield on her back and then using all her leg and back strength lifted the shield onto her back.

Cruentus Contego 's lips parted slightly as a small chuckle left his throat. Reaching out with one hand he would easily lift the shield while standing, if she had no objections he was just going to walk away carrying her and the shield back towards the road "See, easy enough to lift after awhile, and you lifted it, however barely ..but don't worry I can always lift it for you" he would grin again "for all your talk of cunning plans you really don't get teamwork do you?"

Celaluna Sha'rik blinked at the warrior, then blushed a deep crimson, then she dropped down from the shield, then she looked down at the ground,
"I, erm, um, I'm sorry about that," then she looked up at the Shield-Bearer, blushed even more and looked down again.

Cruentus Contego shifted flipping the shield back to latch it to the metal casing that allowed him to keep it there. "You are very red are you running a fever?" he grins and reaches back drawing up his sword, then quickly shifting it back to his side.

Celaluna Sha'rik looked up at him and started wishing that she wasn't so shy all of the time, the bites her lower lip as Cela sees the young warrior move the rather large sword.
"I'm sorry, it's just that.. I'm uh.. prone to blushing... alot..at almost anything..."

Cruentus Contego shrugged "I was only teasing you miss Sha'rik, are you staying in town tonight or going to camp outside?" he turned carefully to fix her in his peripheral vision.

Cruentus Contego laughed "alright then Cela, I was planning to not sleep this night and just spend my time training some more." he grinned and began to walk towards the plains a smile still spread across his features "well, you enjoy sleeping and getting weak."

"Did I ever mention to you that I am a Shaman? and that means something"
She brought her hands in front of her chest, and clasped then together, closed her eyes and then started chanting something that couldn't quite be made out. Suddenly the winds near her started to whip about furiously and then she extended a hand out in front of her a revealed a whirlwind in her hand, not big enough to cause damage or even pull anything in, but enough to show off what she had intended.

She brought her hands in front of her chest, and clasped then together, closed her eyes and then started chanting something that couldn't quite be made out. Cruentus Contego smiled softly and turned back to face the exit "maybe you should train before you go to sleep, wind is also the first towers beasts affinity, I hope you have some other tricks saved up" he would turn and wink to her before slipping outside the city and wandering towards the normal place he had been camping and training.

Celaluna Sha'rik watched him as he wandered away then, turned around to go to her own camp just outside of the city, still with her cheeks colored. As she wandered away she let out a content smile, maybe life wasn't that hopeless after all.

I grab onto a wall to regain my balance as I stumble along the dark allyway. My head hurt and my shoulders drooped with the weight of my crossbow.
I don't remember anything...I just woke up here, not knowing anything.
My head feels hazey and I close my eyes for just a second.
the last thing I hear is the sound of heavy foot steps as my vision turns black and I fall towards the ground.

Cruentus Contego had walked into the city his heavy armor clanging against the metal streets, noticing a woman with a crossbow stumbling he would drop his shield down a level and skid to a stop gently catching the form before it hit the metal streets, "hey lady wake up."
