Personality

Meryl is first and foremost a very logical and sensible individual who values order over chaos. Given her friendship with the Humanoid Typhoon, it's apparent that her idealism and logic are put to the test time and time again. She can be hot tempered at times, but very passionate about her beliefs. Her loyalty to her friends is steadfast, especially to Milly.

Life in this world ain't easy, especially for an Insurance Agent. That's why she caries her single shot Derringer pistol....well, fifty to be precise. She's quick and remarkable accurate.

History

A former field agent for the Bernardelli Insurance Society, Meryl worked with Milly Thompson in tracking the legendary "Vash the Stampede". While the man they soon discovered to be the one and only outlaw was hardly what they expected, their adventures through the rugged and lawless towns of this desert world opened her eyes. Soon after Vash's fight with Knives, Meryl assumed their paths would part, but Milly convinced them both to join her at the Orphanage in honor of Wolfwood, who Meryl knew Milly held feelings for.

While at first, Meryl thought Vash to be an idiotic goofball and womanizer, she soon began to understand the type of man he truly was. While she herself will never admit to anything openly, she knows their friendship is blossoming into something more.
